The only reason why I am giving this place two stars is because of the lack of customer service . When I initially walked in ,there was an older women working the front, not sure if she was the owner . When I told her it was my first time in the establishment she remained silent . She did not even attempt to try to show me the different flavors or share all that Small Cakes had to offer , she only asked “if I was ready to check out?” It’s sad because there are many great bakery’s in the area that people can go to to get a pleasant interaction and feel welcomed so to behave like that towards a first time customer was distasteful . Customers should have a great and memorable experience in your establishment. Not sure if I will return .

Very disappointed in our purchase. Should have read the reviews first. The cupcakes looked great. However, the ones we purchased were stale and dry as if they had been sitting for days. I've had great cupcakes from other Smallcakes. But this one was horrible! Never again!

Great little shop with cakes, cookies and of course - cupcakes. The taste of the cakes are much better than other bigger cupcake chains I have been to! I will be back!

Cupcakes and cake balls are AMAZING! Love coming in and filling up on a few too many sweets(: Highly recommend them also if you need a specialty cake! The bakers here are incredibly talented and the cakes always turn out better than you imagined!

I had been to the other smallcakes on NW Highway, prior to trying this one and the NWH location is so much better. This one seemed cluttered and the cupcakes seemed stale. I won’t come back to this location.

I go here often to pick up cupcakes for my clients! This location NEVER disappoints & their staff is great! They are a franchise, so each location is separately owned. I went to the Dallas location and I was very disappointed. The Frisco location is TOP NOTCH!

Be prepared for a sugar rush! These were very sweet cupcakes. A bit higher priced, but overall very good. Would recommend at least a visit once.

I used to live in Stillwater, OK and they had small cakes and I was in love with it. But then I tried this branch and I am sorry it was way below par. The icing was cheap. Most of the stuff was frozen and not everything on the menu was available. I gave 1 star because the customer service was okay. But everything else was not.

Bought dozen variety of cupcakes.... ABSOLUTELY blew me away. Can't find many places with such great taste of cakes and cupcakes so large.. Not the average size...Definitely recommend and will be a return customer! Thank you Small cakes. You out did yourself! A++++

I am giving this place one star because my first time there it was a older lady an she seemed like I wasn’t supposed to be in her establishment! My 2nd time back another lady “white” came in after me an she was soooo nice to her AND helped her before she helped me! My 3rd time there it was a younger guy and he spoke was cool but she just kept looking at me crazy even when I said I loved the snicker doodles! Today was my last time spending any money with that establishment! A lady held the door open for me with her kids an let me in this woman proceeded to help the lady an her children an walked straight past me another young lady ended up helping me! It’s sad cause I love the sweet treats I seen another review An clearly it’s something with black people because I am a black woman as well! I WILL NOT BE GIVING YALL A DIME OF MY MONEY AFTER TODAY THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I PROMISE YOU THAT!

A wonderful place to go for cupcakes and more. Each time I go the two women, who run the shop are very friendly and helpful in describing each of the great variety of baked goods offered. I can tell they really care about helping their customers choose the treat they will enjoy most. I never feel rushed when making my selection, which is a rarity in today’s service industry. The cupcakes themselves are delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Smallcakes and it’s delicious variety of cupcakes.

Browsed around. $$$$ place. Raspberry chocolate ice cream tasted delicious. Very small macaroons are $2.50. Nice, small, clean place. Their cardboard cake displays gives you some idea.They're right next to Trader Joe's. I wish them well. They're too high for my pocketbook.

After another baker fell through last minute, Smallcakes in Addison saved me. I had less than 24 hours to come up with a smash cake for my nephews 1st birthday party. They were eager to help, had me send them the design, and provided the most perfect cake for me within hours. I was very impressed with their customer service and the cake looked and tasted amazing!

Just finished shopping at trader Joe's and stumbled upon this nice cupcake shop next door. There were so many options i could barely choose and the cupcake itself was a pretty nice size. YOU must try their strawberry one its packed with so much flavor. Can't wait to go back soon.

Ive been there a few times, I get a hint of discrimination everytime Im there, Im mexican and japanese, first experience wasn't good but in the next one I took my girl with me, I speak spanish to my little girl and there it was! Weird discussed look from the older white lady who Im guessing is the owner. The cupcakes are good but that feeling of making someone upset just by being isn't nice.

I love this bakery!!!! When you walk in it smells so yummy! The cupcakes are so moist and melt in your mouth! It is a little expensive but as you can see I still gave a 5 stars because they're worth it!! Been there 3 times going back soon!

The cupcakes here are mouth watering. They have a pretty wide selection of options from you to choose from and a HUGE plus they had home made cake and ICE CREAM!! They store is well kept and clean. They also have a area for my kids to sit and want TV. Thank you to Angie and staff. We will be back soon!!
