Great place to stop on the way to Dallas from Austin. Huge bakery with tons of options. It was hard to pick! Everything we got was great.

Relvin Gonzalez

Great food, beautiful establishment and extremely Tesla friendly! Definitely will return.

Mulan B

I just had my first experience here and i must say it's now my favorite bakery! The staff was great but one person stood out because of her great customer service skills. I believe her name was Erica she had the best attitude during such a busy rush she was great and so was her makeup lol...she made my experience a great one. Guys you have to check it out.

Joan Chanitz

Really good breakfast sandwiches. Great coffee friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone. Nice place.

Michael Gordon

Just dropped by for a drink with my fiancé, but had terrible service. Many employees made eye contact and smiled but didn’t help us at the register for 10 minutes.

Bryan Smith

Hit the place off season and after breakfast and before lunch. Service very good and food very good. Grabbed my first fruitcake of the season. Somewhat disappointed that the one I picked up was pre-sliced. Im not down for anyone deciding how big of a slice I get to have.

Catherine Alvey

Great cookies. Friendly staff. Easy on to I35.

Anna Le

I have been going to their original bakery in Corsicana as a kid and was thrilled when they opened up in Waco. I live in Austin and stop by during trips to Dallas. I hate fruit cake but theirs is hands down the best. Love the original. Took alot of convincing from my mom to get me to try as a kid. Been addicted to them since. Not sugary and wet with syrup like other fruit cakes. High quality and super fresh. Love their breads too! This Waco location in a stand alone building is lovely, spacious, clean, filled with sunlight. Love, love this place. I'm so glad I got to introduce my kids to it today. They love it too!

Sherry Stanley

The cookie and the pecan pie was delicious. I eat here at least once a month. I think I have tried all the sandwiches and they all are wonderful. Have never had anything bad here. Oh my the baked potatoes are really good also. The chili baked potato is my husband favorite. A full sandwich and the baked potato fills me and my husband up. The prices are reasonable. Go by one day and check out all the cookies, cheesecakes, pies, muffins, sandwiches, salads and etc. The people are all real nice. Take a trip to Collin Street Bakery you will not be disappointed. God Bless this place and all the workers.

Beautiful building, but the building and decor couldn't help the bad service. My brothers and I went for breakfast before class, ordered our three breakfast sandwiches by 7:26 on the receipt, asked where our food was at 7:44 and told them to make it to go instead of for there, and ended up walking out at 7:50 with no food or refund so we wouldnt be late for class because tstc has a strict attendance policy. There were only maybe 2 other customers in the building too. Will be going back at lunch to get food or refund, but still have 4 hours of lecture with no breakfast to get through till then. We eat breakfast every morning and were hoping to have a new regular spot, we will see how lunch goes, but i don't believe Collin Street Bakery is up to the task.

Christian Lopez

I stop here every time I travel between Austin and Dallas since they have a Tesla supercharger in the parking lot. The baker's breakfast sandwich is life, seriously. The cherry turnovers are my go to, I've tried a few other things but wasn't a fan. The staff is typically pleasant. Nice environment, free Tesla supercharging, great breakfast sandwiches.

Carolann Molina

Sandwich made fresh to order. Baked goods tend to be a little dried out, stale.

Jason Lewis

Wonderful setting, location, and service. I always stop by when my schedule and stomach permits. (Good verities of cookies and cakes.)

sandy cantu

My sandwich was good, although we called in for sml sandwich & soup. When picked up, Soup was not added, had to repeat in person like 4 times an item wanted and the cashier keep saying different. More attention and listening skills could be applied. But my sandwich minus soup was fresh. Give a 3 based on service.

A Bal4

We love to stop at this location as well as the one on I-45. Good food, freshly baked breads and cookies. Free cookie for each child.

Aditya Gupta

The Collin street bakery is a awesome stop in between Dallas and Austin. The food is good and Tesla owners get a free coffee.

Mic' Belcher

A little over priced... Nothing special

Gene Curylo

Try their sandwitches. Pretty good.

Garrett Harper

Everything we tried was good. Tesla charging stations outside. Worth the detour.

Ken Richie

We recommend that you stop and enjoy the bakery. Outstanding service and all the various sweets we bought were very good!! Easy access and large parking lot. I parked our travel trailer in the lot with no problem.

SYL Domi Ale

Bakery rolls & breads so delicious. Yummy

Crystal Trevino

The food was incredibly delicious and hot! Grilled cheese was cooked to order and made with fresh ingredients! The chicken salad was great also!!! And the praline cookies words can't describe! The service wasn't as good as I expected hence the 4 star... there are registers every where! When I asked someone behind the counter where do I order they kept saying at any register.....I was like ohhh like I key in (some places you input order on a tablet)?? They were like no with a person yet no employees were at the registrar's!!!! After a few mins someone finally showed at a register! But the baked goods and food is enough for me to visit again when in Waco!

Luna Heartfilia

It was okay, the selections are very limited, but it is definitely a place you can study and relax at.

Patti Smith

Great atmosphere and have to control myself, so many great goodies. The hostess at the counter was very kind and helpful.

NA CM

Great bakery, can get busy

James Boyer

We bought fruit cake, peanut brittle and cinnamon bread. Delicious

Jejuan Johnson

They ALWAYS have what I want!!

Lisa Cooper Colvin

Well worth the stop. Super cakes and bakery items, nice staff, a place to rest on a long trip and clean bathrooms. We usually go to Corsicana but this was a welcomed stop.

James E

Fantastic bakery with good menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A great pit stop for my Tesla since they have superchargers in the parking lot. A great experience all around!

Chris A

Awesome place to pick up baked goods (cookies and other delicious treats). They are also renowned for their fruit cake.

Charlie Lamartina

Delicious chicken salad sandwich looking forward to going back

Philip Harris

The bacon and sausage is the best you can get anywhere. This biscuits and croissants are perfect soft light and fluffy. They have the best strawberry lemonade in Texas

Happy H

A lovely place, beside the Tesla Supercharger. They offer free tea to Tesla owners, just show them your key. Food is good, and the price is fair. Definitely I want to return back and visit again! They also sell gift box. The tiny downside is the floor need to clean some corners.

Nelly D

The sweets are amazing! The Jasmine tea is relaxation in a cup. The baker offered us an amazingly delicious nugget cookie to try, and we all bought several of them. Will definitely visit again.

Vlad Volobouev

Very tasty sweets and great service

cody roberts

Everyone goes for the baked goods, the sandwiches are quite good also. Stop in for lunch or baked goods, you wont be disappointed.

Brittney Ubani

It's a beautiful building and the staff was amazing! We stopped here on the way home; as we came from out of town to visit magnolia, but the bread and cookies that we purchased were EXTREMELY dry.. we didn't enjoy them at all. Disappointing.

Pawan Sharma

This place is like an oasis in the desert. The traffic in Waco is just plain wacko! I stop by here on my way down to the Austin area. And on my way back. The staff are courteous, the seating areas have great ambiance and the food choices are a sight for sore eyes (and an empty belly)! "Wholesome" is about the best I can describe this place.

Jimmy Wray

First time to visit a Collin Street Bakery. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. The desserts looked & tasted amazing. Desserts are sold by a slice or a whole. Prices were decent. Clean and comfortable environment.

Karen Green

Colli. Street fruitcakes are the only good fruitcakes! Their baked goods and pies are great! I had the Health Club sandwich which was very good. I would put some mayo on it though. The chopped avocado kept falling out of the sandwich. If they were sliced lengthwise they would stay in the sandwich better. I can't wait to try the pecan bread!

Elizabeth Vial

Collin Street Bakery is the perfect stop for us between Dallas and Austin. There is a Tesla Supercharger station in the parking lot, so we're able to stop and grab a delicious meal while charging up. The Bakery offers a free coffee or tea to Tesla drivers who are stopping to charge, as well! The atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing, and it is a great place for some yummy desserts to bring our family as a little thank you for hosting us when we head to Austin for a visit. The Deluxe Chicken Salad Sandwich and Cherry Ice Box cookies are my favorite!

Kristopher Vandiver

It's pretty good. A little overpriced

Amber waves

I always stop here when passing by. They have a large variety of cookies, pies and deserts. Most of the cookies are 0.69 cents, which is a good price compared to most.

Jackie Jones

Awesome place to stop. Good food and friendly people.

Lightskin Ken

Very clean facility as well as delicious food

Sarah Scott

The best fruitcake! Although there are many jokes about fruitcake. Try one on the samples and it may change your mind. If not they have plenty of other fresh bakery choices.

Thanh Paige Ngo

Very cute bakery, we stopped to charge our car and decided to visit the bakery. Right as we entered the store, a worker offered our kids cookies to sample. Very nice and friendly staff. Cookies were good, sandwiches were delicious. We ordered the Collins Street Croissant, Ham and cheese sandwich they were delicious but if I had to pick one over the other; Collins Street Croissant! Yum! (Small sausage roll were good too) Dessert: we tried all the cake balls, sugar cookie, toffee bar and cheese crisp My kids liked the sugar cookie.

Bob Belflower

A hidden gem. Lunch menu provides a generous selection of sandwiches, soups and salads. Prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. Don't forget the bakery, an abundance of the goodies you love. Quality, quality, quality. By the way, they do breakfast sandwiches also.

Chris ATX

Baker breakfast sandwich is amazing. I always drop by as I charge my Tesla in the parking lot. I never leave without some turnovers.

Richard Gong

A longtime favorite pitstop off I-35 between Austin/San Antonio and the DFW Metroplex this caters to the driver or carload in need of a quick break and bite. Soups and sandwiches you order at the counter, take your number mast and find a table where they will deliver your food. There are also tons of pastries in the display case, and of course, their famous fruit cake. Forewarned is forearmed.

Sarah K

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The building is stylish, well set-up, and extremely well decorated. The cashier was incredibly friendly despite them having issues with the credit card reader, and was happy to help us order. I got the B.L.T.C (a B.L.T on a crossiant) and it was hands down the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. It was light, airy, and the flavor was out of this world. The crossiant was beautifully flaky, and not greasy like some crossiants I've had at other establishments. I also ordered a side of potato salad and I can without a doubt say that it was also the best potato salad I've had in my life! All around amazing. My mother ordered the breakfast sandwich and also said it was fantastic. We will definitely be returning here tomorrow, and any other time we travel out to Waco!

Carla Smith

Great selection of sweet treats. So glad we stopped in and can’t wait to go back.

Elizabeth Solley

We stopped by to get a tiny fruit cake and ended up with small sandwiches as well. The kids menu is a great value and my kids loved the bread so much they wanted me to buy some (although they didn't sell the sandwich bread for purchase). It was a nice stop and I would be happy to go back.

Troy Lawrence

My experience with the food at Collin Street Bakery has been wonderful, but the service is lacking. You can expect to be served in a timely fashion, but don't expect a smile with that service.

Justin Scaggs

Great bakery with free WiFi. Tesla superchargers in the parking lot on the back of the restaurant.

Lauren Griffin

Loved it! Ate a fruit cake sample....sooo good. Cookies were soft and there was lots of choices to choose from. Brownie my daughter got was a little dry but still tasty. Will come back.

Chris Lawrence

I've loved Collin Street for many many years. I only get breakfast items so I can't speak for the full menu and sadly I'm not a fruitcake fan. But their pastries are fantastic. Consistent quality and always a fallback place.

Lynn Enriquez

I love this place. Coffee and yummy desserts!

Jill Galbraith

We went there because google said they were open until 8pm. We were looking for a soup and sandwich at 6:30pm on Thursday evening. I should have known something was amiss when there were no cars in the parking lot and the lobby was empty. There were huge totes of Christmas decorations stacked up inside. I was surprised to find the door open because it looked like a ghost town. I walked in, all the way to the sandwich order counter and the two employees by the cash register were so busy arguing with one another they didn’t even notice my presence. The soup warmer was empty and cleaned, so we decided to leave. Of the four employees I saw, no one ever greeted me or anything.

Chuck Whetstone

We stopped for late breakfast. It was great. The staff was very nice & helpful & brought the food to our table. We also purchased cookies, fruit cake, and more. My only negative comment is the men’s bathroom door has been dirty the last two times I’ve been there. Needs to be wiped down & perhaps painted.

Mandie Kramer

Pretty cool place. We stopped for the Tesla super charger, and stayed for the free coffee (just show your Tesla key). The lemon bar was delightfully tart as I like it, but the fruitcake sample showed they use candied fruit, and not dried fruits. I prefer the latter, but everything else about the fruitcake was expertly made.

Mary Candler

Hands down - the best fruitcake!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Angela Toney

I was from out of town. I was lost and the staff was very accommodating in writing out directions and getting me on the route home.

Atlee Alan Walters

A great place to have lunch when traveling through Waco, Tx. The bakery is to die for.

Nanna

First time visiting...very nice place..Great atmosphere and service

Gypsy Lady

Very affordable amazing lunches and desserts out the wazoo. I dont understand how this place isn't busier. A favorite place for me! The texas tater would fill up a large man and the croissant was so yummy! It was great for a cold day.

Anoosha Syed

We stopped here on our road trip because they have Tesla chargers outside. It’s a cute spacious bakery and cafe with a wide variety of baked goodies (cookies, buns, cakes) as well as good coffee and sandwiches. The place is clean and bright and the staff were friendly! I grabbed a pecan pie and jalapeño rolls which were really good!

Ivy Lee

Finally I'm in the store instead of just perusing the pages of the catalog

erika acosta

Great stop. Lots of choices on food and baked goods!

Sarah Weis

Great pastries. Fantastic service.

Michael Masterson

Really appreciate the complimentary caffeine for the Tesla customers. Thank you!!

Christine Johnson

We stop here because of the tesla charging station on our way to and from Dallas. I'm giving it a 5 stars because the atmosphere, bathrooms and service are great. We've only ever had dessert, not salads or sandwiches yet, and I would only give the cookies we've had 4 stars. It's very nice that they offer Tesla drivers a free pastry or coffee, we'll be back!

Joan Lambert

Always excellent food. We always stop on our travels thru their areas and carry home some goodies

Tristen Cother

Stopled in. My wife was extremely excited to try it. My wife wanted to go there ever since she was a child . Unfortunately we received terrible service . A staff of zombies would have had more life then these people. We were extremely dissatisfied.

Bradley Williams

Wow. Just wow. Great service. Fantastic atmosphere. Ridiculously competitive pricing. We stopped here to charge our Tesla and was greeted with a nice surprise and this place is a GEM! Supercharger and a bakery... Perfect combo!

Kathy Kuykendall

Still good bakery products. Miss the apricot turnovers.

Tom Lester

Prices are very high. Cherry icebox cookies have always been my fav. Either the recipe has changed or I received a bad batch, but they're not worth eating. 2.5 dozen cookies, 6 small cupcakes, $29.40. Ridiculous

Rebecca Pitts

Friendly staff and great coffee.

Analisa C

Great oatmeal raisin cookies! Cute decor on the inside. I've yet to try their actual lunch menu items, but I look forward to it. Also, my cookies were $0.65 each! Baked goods were fairly prices.

Chris Barber

Store was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the cookies were delicious! Definitely a Texas treasure.

K. Osgood

Overrated imho. Breakfast sandwich was ok, not great. World famous chicken salad wasn't that great. Celery was cut up too small, no onion for flavor, nothing for a bit of a crunch. Had to salt it to get any taste and I seldom salt anything. And everything else was very expensive. No need to stop here again on our way thru town.

Diana Guthrie

I've been visiting the Collin Street Bakery for more years than I care to admit. From the original bakery in Corsicana to the newer location north of Waco, I always enjoy their various cookies, breads, pies, and sandwiches (Waco location). It's a refreshing place to go in the summer and festive during the holidays! It's a Texas tradition not to be missed!

Beth Turman

So amazing and clean! Just love the chicken salad on Pecan bread, and all the goodies. Cherry ice box cookies! Oh and iced tea is solid.

Mary Michelle Daniels

Very disappointed in the German Chocolate cake I picked up especially for my brother's birthday. It was stale and bland.

Michelle Saucedo

First time visiting this bakery with my daughter. We shared a sandwich and got a dessert. She loved the lemon cookie and since I love anything peanut butter I really enjoyed the peanut butter cookie. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Marion Walsh

Delicious! Stopped to charge our car and can’t wait to come back! This bakery and cafe has amazing cookies and delicious sandwiches and soups. We had a BLTC, chili, and white cheddar poblano soup. 10/10!

Ana Ender

We stop here every once in a while. I enjoy their food and some of their cookies. It's always busy when we go and its sometimes difficult to find a table. Since some college kids go there to study, some tables are full for hours. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend their pecan cookies -- they're very good, and I haven't seen them in other bakeries.

Henry V

My mom and aunt visiting from Cali got a dirty stare from a guest for speaking in Spanish between themselves but a very nice employee spoke to them in Spanish during the ordering process when they got to the counter, that employee even if her Spanish was a bit off made their day.

Teddy Knitel

Yummy place. Super clean and very tasty. Best place for a cup of coffe and some cake on the way to Dallas or Fort Worth

Frank Goodloe

Had a very nice lunch. Roast beef sandwich with very fresh ingredients. Took some of their fabulous cookies for later.

Tiffany Kinder

Chicken salad is good but I ordered a kids grilled cheese and they gave me half a sub with cheese that was melted in a microwave. The "grilled" cheese was also so hot it burnt a hole in the plastic plate.

Sharon Stout

This place is a landmark. The fruit cakes are legendary. There was an abundance of bakery items to purchase. A little on the pricey side.

darrilynn sylva

Great bakery products but a space that big...should offer more breakfast items other than sandwiches.

Tom White

Good service. Nice break from the road. Great pastries

Shacie Richey

Good bakery items but a little pricey.

Mikey Schmidt

This place has grown from a small town around Waco and now they have 3 plus stores that I know of.they have been baking goof especially cookie for a while. My only problem is they are mot cheap. It does cost to get your baked goods here. One thing that I think is awesome is that you can stop in for a sample baked good, a cookie, and it does cost for a sample. I love that. My dad buys his turnovers every time we go by Waco. Whatever your crave may be you can get just about anything you want for lunch from the soup , salad, and sandwich area too. Awesome

Katherine Charba

The hubs and I came here on a Sunday as it was the only bakery around that was open. The decor was amazing and the bakery very clean and well organized. I’m taking a star off because their bakery selection was lacking. They didn’t have very much to select from, but what we had was good. I’d almost call this a deli more than a bakery? Overall the location was convenient and we were happy that we got our bakery date.

Aaron Vixie

First time and loved it. The breakfast sandwich I had was great!

Paul Streetman

Excellent Waco location of the original Corsicana bakery. Get the pralines!

Culinary Cad

Very fresh baked goods. A wide variety you cannot get anywhere else. The people at so very cool and Nice. Yes, there are sugar-free products.

Elizabeth Hanke

Beautiful establishment. Delicous baked goods and our strawberry lemonade was tasty. Staff was very generous and kind. Did not order a meal, just a delcious snack.

Linda Johnson

I had the chicken wrap which was good although not much chicken. I think maybe two or three pieces very small. Mostly lettuce tomatoes. Pastries did not look fresh. Cashier did not greet us nor friendly.

Barbara Owen

I absolutely love, love their cookies and chicken salad on croissant sandwiches. My favorite cookies are their pecan lace looking cookies followed by their pecan sandies. I can't leave there without buying some to take home. Because they are $.65 each, it does get costly so I am not able to stop by as often as I would like.

A Brookman

One of out favorite stops, sandwiches, cookies, fruit cake and friendly service

Geri H

Dry as dust apple fritter. Turnover wasn't much better. Came a long way for this. Not again

Baker Ghanim

Erica was super helpful and recommend the perfect green tea

L M

Completely disappointed. I stopped to get their fruit cake cookies. I wanted to try the new flavors...I had been on the road nearly 8 hours...with this experience as my only thing to look forward to and low and behold they didnt have them. They had other things...things you can get at any bakery...BUT the item they are famous for...none. Not even as in they were out...they just were not carrying them at that time. It was a pointless waste of a stop on my way...which I had to navigate all the construction for. If you are hoping to get the item this place is famous for...dont waste your time at this place.

Ashley Heighton

Love this place. Great cherry cookies and warm tea. Stopped at the Waco one and the Corsicana one to charge my Tesla and was able to sit inside on the couches and relax for a bit!

Richard Kaplan

Very nice restaurant enjoy it when we stop thru on our way to Round Rock

Sonia Flores

I ordered coffee and a slice of chocolate pound cake. The coffee and the pound cake was delicious, the price was right so was the atmosphere and the customer service.

James Tomlinson

Far better than fast food

Kimberly Bikoski

Great baked goods, coffee, and tea. Good food too. Definitely make time to stop in.

Lee Hamilton

Bright, airy, & clean. A welcome road stop where one can have a light Iunch & stock up on some delicious pastries.

Bryley Doucet

Collin street has the best cookies. It’s a must stop whenever passing one, although I feel like most people already know this. What I didn’t know until recently is they have great coffee and wonderful sandwiches. This is now more than just a cookie stop for me. They also have a Tesla charging station which is nice for those drivers!

Karen Holt

I love this bakery. The employees are polite, the baked goods are among my absolute favorite. The bathrooms are ALWAYS clean. Right now there is a LOT of road construction in front of building. They have a wonderful Deli and fruitcake they are known for. You can even sample.

M Gonzalez

This is more than just a bakery; it is also a deli, offering sandwiches and the like. Their bakery offerings consist of standard staples such as cookies and muffins. They do have signature offerings such as cinnamon bread (think of it as a loaf of bread converted to a cinnamon roll), pecan pie, and even fruit cake. Whole versions of these can be purchased to take home. The sweet treats are yummy and moderately priced. The aforementioned cinnamon bread is a favorite of mine, and makes for a good "at home" breakfast treat. The Waco location also has a small party room, which can be reserved for small, private events. The room seems to hold around 30 people. Overall, this a good place to grab a quick treat, or if one wants to linger, a good place to grab some lighter fare.

Will Zhao

It's a nice surprise on the way back to Dallas. A lot of people likes to hangout here. There selection of bakery seems quite alluring. Clean, bright and comfortable.

Matt Foster

This is a great place! The treats are awesome I got me a blonde brownie which is very good basically like a chocolate chip brownie. The kids get free cookies. The Fruitcake samples were surprisingly good and I have never like fruitcake! Swing by sometime when you are in the area

Victor Trac

Gotta be honest - the sandwiches are pretty mediocre. Subway is better. But the ambience is nice plus Tesla drivers get a free tea/coffee.

AniMiLady Madame

Delicious food, clean & pleasant atmosphere, very nice staff. Definitely recommend

Audrey Prater

The blueberry cheesecake is moist and flavorful. The cake balls are small enough that you can try each flavor and not feel guilty, although the lemon was my favorite.

APRIL ERSKINE

Great food, great sweets. Anthony was a doll.

Sue Damhesel

Only a few cakes to choose from. I probably went to late. Great chocolate prailines!

Jason McCampbell

Nice place to stop during a long drive. The sandwiches are very good, not the normal greasy faire at highway stops. Warning: the cookies are hard to resist! (And worth giving in.)

michelle sanders

Beautiful bakery, great food, excellent customer service and clean restrooms! Nice place to stop on our trip from Austin to Dallas

Valerie Weber

Love the cinnamon bread. Bakery was clean And well kept. Didn't like the blueberry muffins too dry.

ZULEMA CASTILLO

Everything looks & taste great. We will be stopping by everytime passing through Waco

Grauer Greg

A young lady named Erica showed what true customer care is all about. She made our visit there one to remember.

Chad Harrington

A quick lunch trying to beat the rain home. Right off the interstate at our exit. Great food & cookies.

Tiffany Reeder

Their sandwiches are wonderful on their fresh baked bread. Clean restrooms. The fruit and nut cookies are my absolute favorite. I buy a dozen every time I pass through Waco.

Debi Goin

Better than excellent!. The store was beautiful and the food was beyond delicious!

Gloria Ogboaloh

Lots of Teslas charging. I had the Texas Chili's and ALL of the pastries. All delicious. Clean restrooms and friendly staff.

dobie gal

Actually I was there a few months ago. My car battery died. The manager came out and although it took about 10 minutes or so to get the car to start, he said if it didn't, he would drive me to the parts store for a new one. The car did start though. The food there is top quality. Cherry icebox cookies ROCK. I'd give it a million stars if I could.

sebastien pessy

Michael gave us an outstanding service. Definitely a great place to relax and very authentic cakes and cookies.

SUSAN ONDRASEK

This is a really good place to go. The pastries are tasty and adequately priced. Super clean and tidy on the inside. Wait staff are very accommodating, and helpful. Will be back!

Christopher Lee

Great place to stop and charge Tesla. Nice area to wait while it charges up.

Jack Mann

I love their breads and cookies. We stopped for sandwiches today instead of the usual cookies. Super slow service, out of tea the until we were almost finished eating. Not nuts about my sandwich. I'm sticking with baked goods which I rate five star.

Squeak McPip

Wow so let me tell you about THIS place. We have some history. I have come here almost every time I've traveled to Austin and back for the past 7 years. Their pastries (specifically cherry cookies and macaroons) have always brought me back here. I have taken friends and family to this place and they have all fallen in love with the wonderful selection of baked goods or even a delectable lunch this place has had to offer. The service is great, many kind faces behind the counter who have always had a positive welcoming attitude and broken the ice with a few jokes. The baked potato is TO DIE FOR!!!! If you see this place off the highway, you MUST stop by and check it out. I promise you'll never forget it

google user

We always stop in when we are close to any one of the Collin Street Bakeries. They make the best sweets and there is usually plenty of goodies to choose from :)

Donna McCartney

I ordered a turkey club on a crosant. I only ate a few bites and my stomach started to get upset. The mayo tasted weird, the bacon was the precooked kind and didn't taste good. The turkey was like the cheap cold cuts from the grocery. It certainly wasn't roast turkey. On the other hand, the chocolate pound cake was amazing! We bought some to take home. It lasted for two or three days and was as moist as the day we bought it. Will def go back for the bakery!

Daniel Stewart

Fulfill your hipster dreams along I-35! Park and charge your Tesla while enjoying the tasty pie and coffee they offer, but don't expect beard pomade on the shelves. Spread out all of your textbooks as you and a friend use enough seating space for a small family of four. Don't worry about getting any real schoolwork done since you only came here for everyone to see how important you are as you play on YouTube with the free wifi! Relax and enjoy the atmosphere as your parents go slowly into a lifetime of debt while eating the bakery's "to die for" fruitcake. But don't stay too long, you don't want the mainstream crowd to disturb your mantras.

talluri nagasreenivasu

Love this place, brings back college days. Their fruit cake with pecans is mind blowing and their home made coffee was good too. Would recommend for any one heading to and returning from Austin, conveniently located right next to exit in Waco

Allison Starling

Great bakery! Lots and lots of choices as well as a nice staff! The cinnamon bread is delicious !!!

Glenda Poulter

Great location. Ample variety of baked goods.

Gil Gar

Good variety of baked goods, they have cookies, muffins, pies, cheese cakes and many more specialties that make this place not the ordinary bakery and cafe, their sitting area is very nice, it’s almost like a full service restaurant setting. They also serve quick bite lunch, and coffee. And that’s the only reason I won’t give them 5 stars even tho they’re an excellent bakery, their coffee machine has been two occasions it has been out of service, how can you have a bakery shop without the coffee? That’s incomprehensible, so I hope they make good on that and they always have a working coffee machine so customers can enjoy their baked goods. I will definitely recommend and I will continue coming back. Average price for their gourmet baked pies $$

Erik Ranke

Best Collins Street Bakery of them all. I've been to all the CSBs and I find the staff here to be the nicest, the location is great and the layout very relaxing. Though food is touch pricey, the food is fresh and good.

Jahedur Rahman

Good cakes, good service.

Melissa Ramirez

employees are truly amazing. so many goodies to choose from. the sun room is great for small parties.

Victor Kaufhold

We ate cake and cookies till we couldn't eat anymore. A fantastic place to chill out and enjoy the foodas well. When we pass through Waco we always stop here. A fantastic place to recharge your human batteries.

Grim Starfighter

Oh my god this place is wonderful. A great place to have a sugar break and enjoy the open space with free WiFi. I have been told about this place and finally stopped in for a little great and could barely make up my mind. With all the Tesla charging stations out front you can sit and have a lunch with delicatessen style sandwiches. Not far from Baylor so if you're in for the game stop by for a pregame snack. I will be back.

Always a treat. And we always find something we haven't tried before.

Great food great atmosphere. Never stopped here before but stops because of the Tesla superchargers we don't have a Tesla but we like checking out the cars. Update: We now have a Tesla do this is a great stop for a charge and bathroom break. Collin street made a good choice by having these. We usually spend $20 every time we stop. Staff is always very nice and good is made fresh.

Newly remodeled lunch counter makes ordering lunch easier and more efficient. I had chicken salad, and took home an order of chili and cornbread! (What I get almost every time! ) Breads were fresh, but since it was late afternoon, a little picked over. Very reasonable prices in a bright and sunny room.

Bright airy and clean. So cool that it's right beside a Tesla charging station plus they give Tesla owners free coffee! Food is delicious and service is friendly.

They have the best cookies here. Do yourself a favor and drop by.

When we travel north from the Austin area we make sure to stop at this bakery. It offers a big variety of cookies and other baked goods. We usually grab a slice of their chocolate pound cake. I do not care for fruit cake but will try anything once. Their version was actually pretty good! They have small samples to try next to the packaged fruit cakes. The service is always quick and friendly.

My wife loved this place. The favorite is the chicken salad and the BLT is enough to clog your arteries. They are a branch of the bakery in Corsacana, Texas. The place is airy, plenty of eye sensations. They have plenty of temptations such as cookies, pies and their fruit cakes are not the ones you will want to regift to someone else. This is a great spot stop for coffee, soft drink and for families the restrooms have been really clean and well kept.

Great place to stop while traveling for some fresh baked goodies! Famous for their traditional and unique fruit cakes, which are loaded with Texas pecans! Very clean restrooms! All kinds of cookies, muffins, breads, and pies, fresh coffee and deli style quick lunch!
