As always, an amazing experience. Coffee and coffee cake were both sublime and service was gracious. A delight to visit Bakery Lorraine.
Awesome bakery. The food and the baked goods are delicious. Wonderful ambience. Friendly staff. Great customer service.
Good food today but Cuban sandwich wasn't as good as normal. Mine had very little meat. Line was crazy slow.
Very nice place, suggested for breakfast and specially for paticerie.
Good food and service
We loved the personal attention we received along with the fantastic food!
I love Bakery Lorraine. Great pastries and warm dishes are delicious as well. Only complaint is they can be a bit slow to order. Wish that is you were just getting pastries there could be a "quick line" where you bypass the warm orders/coffee and can just get pastry
Red berry cake! Perfect dessert for Spring. It's a light enough dessert to leave you satisfied.
Sweet are awesome and the menu is small but everything is good. A must try! Even if you stop by for just the macaroons.
Great coffee and even better pastries!
Its It's to pricey but its worth the money everything is fresh crunchy aesthetic. Nice
The coffee and food is really delicious, I've come every day of my vacation to San Antonio. My first lunch was their egg salad on toast
Absolutely love their Quiche! Super fresh and always a delight
Cool modern spot to grab some tasty baked goods. Their raspberry danish was flaky, buttery, and sweet. The center contained the cheese filling, some kind of raspberry preserve, and topped with a few raspberries. It was a tad tough, but it still had a good texture. As you walk in, there's a display of various pastries on your way to the counter. The interior is very bright, simple, and modern. I recommend checking this place out for a quick baked bite.
Loved this place! Great service, wonderful pastries, and the coffee was excellent.
Excellent coffee and pastries..great service too
Good food, nice atmosphere
Love it ! But so busy! Come early.
got there about two, it was not packed. the staff was very helpful and welcoming. it has a cool atmosphere. wish it was closer to my house, i would come every week.
the macaroons here are really good. lots more spacious than your average patisserie, with some outside seating as well for sunny days. prices are pretty good, and the atmosphere is relaxed, so this would be a good spot to rest in between shopping or seeing the area around pearl district.
Never been to the bakery while it has been busy so the service has always been quick, especially with showcased pastries. Staff always seem to have a smile when they are walking about and interacting with customers.
Adam is the best... Entire crew is wonderful... Highly recommended
It’s good. But it’s always too crowded. So be patient
Really cute little place, very clean. Staff was friendly. Coffee was okay. A little overpriced.
Beautiful Pastries, nicely located great menu!!! I will be visiting this place again, and if you want great, rich tasting pastry come here a little lricey, but worth the money and staff is very polite!
The pistachio macaroons and the lemon meringue tart were simply amazing!
Dont believe the hype... I had an egg salad sandwich and the eggs were so big
Very good pastries
I had the peanuts and chocolate chips cookie and it was so YUMMY. I also purchased the a pop tarte and cinnamon roll and can't wait to have them with my hubby later!
Comfy place, kind people, delish food - it's a winner!
Stopped by for breakfast and we loved it. Crossant sandwich with white egg and baked potatoes was amazing, fresh and just melts in your mouth from freshenes. My friend had a baked oatmeal and while it was tasty, it was also on a chewy side. Overall atmosphere is very welcoming and has that modern-industrial style to it.
I stopped by on a road trip across Texas for breakfast based on reviews on the Internet, and I was not disappointed. The Croque Madame was delicious and the potatoes that came with it were so good I could have eaten a plateful. They were well seasoned and roasted to perfection. I also tried some of a cinnamon roll, it had the perfect amount of sweetness and cinnamon flavor. I also had a chocolate chip cookie, and it was divine. The chocolate was melty, and the cookie was not too soft, and not too stiff. It is something I will definitely be trying to recreate at home.
Lovely cafe! The lattes are delicious. Their sandwiches are the best I've tried in San Antonio. It is a clean and cute store.
Go early because they often sell out of the fine pastries.
I don't brave the Pearl often; but if i need to impress a new date, show my mother i appreciate her, beg for forgiveness, or any other occasions that require brightly colored macarons, I will walk through the gilded fires of income-inequality-hell to get to Bakery Lorraine. Great place, even greater people working there.
The place was nice but not impressed with the bake goods.
I ordered a almond croissant which was pretty decent and tasty with a cappuccino which wasn't as good as the croissant. The service was great though, would go back to try something new.
They were so nice. I love their quiche Lorraine and I didn't know that during breakfast time they serve it with potatoes instead of a salad. We told our server and he brought us a salad. Great food, great service. Perfect place to catch up on a good talk with a friend or go their to relax reading a book
Great location and super food! We went during the farmers market on Saturday. Super people watching location sitting outside. I had the croissant sandwich which was superb. It had delicious potatoes served with it. My husband had the two eggs breakfast plate which he also enjoyed. Dark good coffee. Everything was perfect. Thank you! PS I am so happy you will have a location in Austin. Can't wait!
Delicious Lemon Meringue Tart...texture, flavor, and overall experience was perfect.
Good food at good price with excellent customer service
So good. The pastries are light and fluffy, the cremes airy and moist. The drinks are delicious. They use a bunch of cinnamon.
The food is so delicious, Amazing desserts and Quiches
Edward, David & Managers are amazing their service deserves more than 5 stars. They make you feel at home as family. Ambient soothing enviorment & music covers the mood along with their food and pastries. I never got up once or had to look for service ..its like they read my mind and had what I needed already on hand. Very professional & friendly staff.if you are in town this is the place to go...amazing FRESH, 5 STAR FOOD AND PASTRIES!!!! GOD SENT STAFF!!!
The most amazing pastries and Sweets
Yummy and excellent service at a very nice location at the pearl
Great selection of tasty treats and beverages
Cuban Sandwich OMG, just the best in town!
Service was not great at all. Came in here for lunch and they completely forgot about our order. Had to finally ask. Lost the whole lunch hour.
Love it here! No great food, the best staff!
Great food. Friendly staff, excellent service.
Food was delicious!!! Can't wait to go back!!! Service was great too.
Lovely place to have coffee and a light lunch
The croissants are great, warm and flaky
Delicious food! Great atmosphere! Prices are fair and it’s just a fantastic place!
Great cafe/bakery. You can order to go or you can order to eat there and it's brought to your table. Pastry assortment includes croissants, cheesecake, opera cake. Vegetarian options available (ex vegetarian quiche). Went on a Sunday. Farmers market was set up in the courtyard.
When you ask for a lunch menu, and tell the cashier you saw only breakfast at the wait line, you don't get that menu and smack it on the table in the face of the customer, flip it over and show the lunch menu. Very rude.
My friend and I had never been to this place, so thought we would try it before Farmer's Market opened. It was about 8:45am. The restaurant was not busy yet. Great experience ordering at counter. Found a table and began a very long wait. Finally my friend's food arrived. I told her to eat while hot. She was almost finished, and no food for me yet. Two tables nearby that came in after us received their food before me. I got up and spoke to a gentleman named Jose I think. Told him my dilemma. I had given up by then and he got me a refund and apologized. I wanted to speak to the manager, but nobody came to our table. Obviously we did not matter. No excuse for this! I was in the restaurant business for 16 years as a manager. I never let anyone leave unhappy if I could help it. Now I just eat in restaurants. I will NEVER return to Bakery Lorraine. Oh, by the way, my friend said her food was OK. She will never return either. Management could have at least apologized. I would have given a gift card to try and get me to return, but we got nothing!
Fun environment, great treats and pastries. If you're already in Pearl I'd stop by.
Best latte I've had since I left Seattle.
Stopped here for a cookie and coffee. Coffee is very good and the PB Chocolate chip cookie is delicious. They have a very nice outdoor cafe as well as inside seating. Great place!
Long line but definitely worth the wait. I wish we could have tasted everything they have to offer. Although we only had a few pastries, such as the Pop tarts and croissants, from the plates I saw around the restaurant everything looked delicious. We will definitely be back!
No wifi and bad location
Awesome stop! Got to try the tarts. I'm a chocolate lover, but the tart was fantastic. Great idea....I bought a chocolate dessert. my friend bought a tart desert and we shared. Got to sample 2 Great Tastes. Love that they have water available. Great modern place to sit and talk for a while.
Expect nothing but the best. Located in the Pearl, it is on the corner inside the pearl surrounded by Botika, the Culinary Institute, and Hotel Emma. The best Parisian pastries you will find anywhere in this city. A lot of hard work and love goes into these creations. You can stop by for a trendy photo shoot because the location has incredible artwork inside and adorable seating outside with the Pearl as your backdrop. You can get breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. You can get their famous macarons and see why they are so popular. You can also get any coffee your heart desires. I dont drink coffee so I ask for an iced vanilla milk when I go and it's delicious. The pastries are all delicious and change seasonally. They also do cakes that will blow your mind with the level of creativity. You will find this is one of the top bakeries in San Antonio and for good reason. They care about their customers, they strive for perfection, and will only give you the best.
Upscale great lunch spot and they have macaroon s
Fresh EVERYTHING! Loved it Great Cafe Latte - loved their sausage & egg Croissant. Lovely venue by the CIA - Peaceful Mario Perez Executive Chef de Cuisine
Great coffee and macaroons. We have to stop there every time we visit The Pearl, it is a must!
Amazing desserts. I love visiting The Pearl, great restaurants and just to sit and relax.
The employees behind the counter were helpful and friendly and the food was great as usual (croissant, pain au chocolat, croque madame, avocado toast). After the food was brought out, we requested ketchup, but the server never returned like he said he would.
Huge fan of this establishment! The staff here is always super friendly & welcoming. Ben, Enzo, & friends in the kitchen are whipping up consistently delicious dishes! Very puppy friendly inside but they also have a Walk Up Window if you have a bigger dog. These ladies & gents always have me coming back for more.
Gee..another place my granddaughter introduced me to.sweet things, yummy things to try...nice place to sit and visit, catch up on our lives and enjoy a pastry ...
Best macaroons in SATX
F A N tastic!!! Always friendly smiles and service. The desserts and pastries are nothing but "Trop Bon". My daughter's favorite tomato soup is from here with the buttery, golden crisps of garlic wedge toasts....mmmmm!!!! Everything is excellent! Pearl Brewerly location our favorite<3
Very nice setup, friendly staff. The pastries looked wonderful, however I just had the warm biscuits. Only ate one, they were huge.
My wife enjoyed an iced coffee and a chocolate pastry, and I enjoyed a well made cappuccino and a triple ginger cookie...I taste tested everything since that's the only job I have now...and...I think I made the slightly better choices, it was close enough to require resampling...all in the interests of reporting the facts to best of my limited but enjoyable abilities.
The looks of the food were significantly better than the taste. Not worth the price
The breakfast is awesome! Plenty of wonderful pastries.
Wonderful bakery! Pleasant servers who are very helpful. A menu of sandwiches and light food choices. In a beautiful surrounding.
Selecting is a problem so you have to plan on returning and try other items... We will sacrifice ourselves!
Their coffee cake is to die for!!! Get there early as they run out of those fast!! Amazing place to just relax and have some delicious coffee.
I love going to The Pearl and appreciate the quality establishments they have for consumers. This bakery has so many great classic choices with that lovely historical bakery feel. The place gets busy so you may need to exercise some patience but it's a great bakery and I recommend you try it!
Atmosphere: Upscale bakery cafe Service: Counter service, unremarkable Food: Excellent sandwiches, salads and a tempting array of delightful pastries you can drool over on the way to the counter. Pricing: Moderate - $30 lunch for 2
Refreshing place to have brunch at with the family. Cozy, neat atmosphere. Large, unique selection of pastries. Friendly, patient employees. Overall, a nice brunch spot-just bring a little more money than you intend.
The location is perfect which may explain the crowds because the rest was sub par. We ordered pastries and beverages and took our number to a table. My mocha came in a to-go container while my companion received a cup and plate for her Americano, yet we were there together. After a few sips, it was clear something was wrong. I spooned about 2" of mousse off of the top of my mocha. Yes, mousse, not foam. After a few sips I realized it was either burnt or had gone bad. I was assured by staff that it was made correctly with "hot cocoa powder and milk". After correcting them that I had ordered soy milk and not regular milk, the explaination changed. After bit of back and forth, one staff member did offer to remake my drink but was still confused as to what I ordered and what the issue was so I declined. I still don't know what was atop my mocha and why they used powdered mix. Needless to say, I did not drink my drink because of the poor taste and my allergy to dairy (which they seemed to be unsure if they used or not). Overpriced & underwhelming.
Great food and coffee. Normally very crowded. Expect to pay a pretty penny for any bakery items.
Cool place. The ambiance is really nice. The place is spacious so you aren't crowded. The crossiant sandwiches are pretty large. The scones are tasty. The staff is friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this place for others.
Overprice and wait staff need pay attention to the costumer sometimes u can't not going inside to order something to eat cuz u came alone with ur dog how come u ordered besides the waitress if they don't even looking at u
Great food, nice atmosphere, and good service! I will definitely be coming back soon!
Had some confusion trying to order lunch today. Didn’t really get what I wanted, but went ahead and started eating. One of the employees came by and offered a wonderful solution that completely changed my experience. No one is perfect, and mistakes will happen.. but it’s all about how you fix it and make it right! Ended up having a fantastic lunch! Thanks for the top notch service!
The pastries here are so delicious, oh my goodness you have got to try this lemon curd flaky bun, it is heaven and the raspberry one is good as well. I will be returning when in San Antonio.
Prices way too high for pastry that is good, no doubt. But I can buy better coffee with excellent pastries elsewhere, enjoy better ambiance, and not feel like I have been price gouged.
Everything is as beautiful to the eye as it is delicious to your palate! Highly recommend!!
This place is a fantastic place for brunch, if you get there really early you get to beat the line and get a great spot outside overlooking Hotel Emma! And on Sundays you get to witness the farmers market. I had the eggs ham and bread combo. It's definitely one of the best I've tasted anywhere. IDK what they do with their toast but it's amazing! Lol
Great sweets but overly priced. Macaroons are tiny and charged $5 for one. Almond croissants are the best.
Delicious breakfast! Friendly staff! Pleasant atmosphere! Highly recommend!
I had the cheesecake while I was here, and it was good. Not outstanding, but good. More powdery than creamy, but I'd probably get it again. Most of the items are fairly pricey for what you get. Portion sizes are very small. I'd be happy to get my order in a cheaper container than the faux gold leafed boxes they carry if it shaved a bit off the sale price of their items.
Line can get pretty long, but other than that the food and service is amazing
Amazing breakfast, but lunch was also delicious!!! Friendly service and better food!
Pastries are very delicious!!
Gosh darn good. Loved the Three Cheese French Toast, get that! Great lunch option in the Pearl.
Long line but moves fast. No chocolate when I came. I tried this lemon cake thing it was good. Every once in awhile I'd get a quick hit of lemon. Wasnt a fan of the yellow bell stuff on top so I rolled it back. Dont come here looking for cupcakes or anything.
The best pastry in San Antonio, Texas
I ordered 4 cakes for the US Armys Birthday. 3 turned out good and then someone must have said, "Grab a cake from HEB and we'll wing it."
Eventho it was crowded, we enjoyed our experience. Everything we ordered ( quiche, Boston cream, oatmeal cookie, coffee) was delicious. Highly recommend!
Incredible food and amazing service! A little pricy but definitely worth it.
Overpriced sandwiches and mediocre fare, plus staff that don't listen or communicate very well. Ordered a sandwich which comes with chips and pickle. I added a side of salad. Staff person repeated order back to me and said no chips. I said I wanted chips plus a side of salad, not salad instead of chips. She says okay. Order received without chips or pickle. Dont waste your money.
The perfect little spot right at the Pearl. Great staff, great service, great food. I love it here!!!
Decent selection of pastries. The pastries are beautiful...but disappointing to eat. There are better pastries to be had.
Kouign-Amann and cappuccino! Love the art by Valdez.
Avocado on toast! And those macarons are to die for. Make sure to go early and beat the crowds!
Cool bakery in the Pearl district of SA. I like the bakery as there are lots of options to choose from, from sandwiches, to desserts, to drinks, you're able to find even more than what you're likely expecting. Unsurprisingly, this location is always busy (like much of the Pearl district) so you can expect a line at almost all times. However, it moves relatively fast and there is plenty of seating. Lots of treats to buy and you can even get boxes as gifts!
Nestled in the center or the pearl area, stands this bakery that is voted as San Antonio's top 10 bakeries in the US. And it really does show it through its pastries and lunch selection all for a fair price with a warm cafe feel. For sure a cool place to sit and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the pearl and while there why not grab a macaroon box gift set or two.
Wow! The coffee here is on point! The macarons are a must try, and the pastries are artistically designed and a delight to behold! This is a special treat that you must enjoy at one of their cozy outdoor tables that are reminiscent of the cafes you'd find in France!
Just amazing...good breakfast! Come check them out guys!
Very enjoyable bakery. Indoor & outdoor seating, average prices for quality. Had to wait in line for a bit, but went on a Saturday during a farmer's market. The scones are quite delightful and I plan to try additional pastries in the future.
The wait can be rather long, but there sandwiches are so good, and worth the wait. I would stear clear of the cakes and pastries if you are expecting European level, but by Texas standards they are quite good. I’d wish they also sold bread to go.
The bread is amazing! Fresh fruit seasonal tart packed with amazing fruit. The filling rich and creamy. 10/10 would eat here again!
5 star rating for all the hard work the most wonderful being of a boyfriend puts into the food! The staff is attentive, caring and all around hard workers! The food wouldn't be as great without the workers! God bless
I loved the treats here. Busy corner but easy to access. Lots of great choices and nice seating outside. Service was patient and somewhat friendly. I recommend any of their tarts or pastries. Coffee smelt good too.
This place is delicious! We went back for the quiche three times in a week. It was my grandson’s favorite food of the trip! He is 16 months old! The bakery treats are a must but the food is amazing too! I had the quiche and my friend ordered the BLT. Both came with salads and we both cleaned our plates! This was a great lunch stop!
This is one of my favorite spots in San Antonio for delicious sweets and treats. They also have a really good breakfast selection. Service is fast and friendly. You can use their free WiFi (in fact a lot of locals hang out here to grab a nice drink/refreshment and to get some work done). The outside dining is also lovely, especially the few months out of the year that Texas isn’t swelteringly hot.
Lovely bakery with wonderful pastries. Sugar overdose with kids! The macaroons were awesome especially the margarita macroon with tequila. Also the pistachio eclair was very good. Must try place in San Antonio's Pearl district.
Waited in line for more than was needed. Unorganized checkout — guy packing our order had to tell the girl next to him what we ordered than she told the cashier... really rough. Not worth it. Pastries were average at best. The package design was incredible! But everything else average
Always a pleasure! Each treat is a delight! I usually always get the pop tarts but everything is super good.
On this trip we enjoyed the breakfast quiche and a lemon zest egg and turkey sandwich. Located at the Pearl, this eatery never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and the food delightful. Yes, delightful. It's enough to satisfy your hunger but not so heavy it leaves you in a coma. As an added bonus it's actually delicious!
Love Bakery Lorraine. Yummy food and delicious treats.
Best coffee and pastery in the city. Will return often
Love, love love! Delicious sweet pastries, coffee, lunch and tea. It’s a great place for a meeting , to study , or just go enjoy the Pearl. I highly recommend the macaroons!
Bakery Lorraine is the place to be. They are located in the center of the Pearl. You can’t beat the prices because their quality of food is comparable to none! The lemon meringue tart is to die for. I could eat that year round. They also have scrumptious pop tarts, macaroons, and cookies. A San Antonio MUST TRY!
Exquisitely delicious. So much attention to detail, very delightful.
Flies is pastry showcase, Staff not friendly, and they don't have a good selection of coffees . Quality, NOT what you pay for.
Possibly one of the worst experiences of my culinary life. Besides the fact that my incredibly simple order of bread slicing took around 10 minutes, a waiter who wore a shirt with a watermelon pattern took out an order without washing his hands after picking up glasses by gripping the interior of said glasses without washing his hands. That's not to mention that they're caving into the liberal garbage of having non-specific bathrooms. So if you want food lovingly caressed by the mouth-molecules of other human beings, I highly recommend this place.
Came in a few days ago during noon lunch hour. I understand that a popular restaurant can be extremely busy during lunch hour, but feel that is no excuse for completely forgetting our order. Even after asking when our order would come out and the employees realizing they had either misplaced, overlooked or put our ticket out of order they did not seem rushed to get it out and had to ask again what the issue was and where our order was. We could not enjoy our lunch time in the restaurant and had to take it to go because from walking in, ordering and finally getting our SALADS to go, it took the complete lunch HOUR. If we had never asked for an update i don't think the order would have ever been made to be honest.
Cant wait for my next trip to come back here. Panna Cotta was amazing!
It was Good I got grilled cheese with bacon and.... I only ate the bacon
This place can get very busy, especially on the weekends, but once you try their baked goods, you’ll understand why. Looking for something sweet but great tasting? This is the place to go. Their baked goods are made fresh daily and you can really tell!
It was my first time at bakery Lorraine and it was amazing! Love the cheese cake. I will definitely come back!!
Awesome place, good food, friendly staff. Will defenitely come back
We love the macaroons! This is our family favorite. You have to try it and you will not be disappointed.
Good food . Potatoes were not well cook but over all good taste
As hipster decadent as you can get. Great baked goods and coffee
So good!! The macaroons were a delight. Even had some gluten free items.
Very cool area!
Bakery Lorraine is one of the best things to happen in sa in a while. A nice break front Starbucks and the people are lovely. Did is great and bakery items and coffee is why I'm there almost every weekend. The grilled cheese it the best
I don't know if I went on an off day however, cashier was pushy and almost flat out rude. Waited in a long line Saturday morning for pastries and while waiting in line I was asked what I wanted, once I told her she said okay and walked away. ? What was the point in asking, she didn't even pack my order? Once I got to the cashier I told her what I wanted and she was almost flat out rude like she was having a bad day (ie. eye roll, no sense of urgency, tone). I understand the staff changes or people have a bad day..the main reason I'm even writing a review is the macaroons were the worst I've had. It was literally as if I was eating a whoopie pie. I bought a box of six and threw 5 1/2 away in the trash. Super disappointing because everyone just raved about this place. I'm giving two stars because the atmosphere was at least super cute.
Been a couple of times. Ordered the Ham and Brie while my gf ordered the Turkey pesto sandwich with tomato soup and chips. Food was delicious and the location is super convenient for the pearl and original in the inside. They might need to hire more staff. Since food took a long time and some tables needed cleaning. Staff looked hard working and nice.
It's always busy, but for the right reasons. Bakery Lorraine has some of the most interesting and decadent desserts in S.A. people come for the macarons, but personally I chose whatever croissant they have available.Today I had an almond croissant. They must use the best butter available because it's the best I've had.
Small dining area inside, food is good but a bit pricey. Cinnamon roll was dry but the coffee was amazing. Make sure to get there early it gets busy.
The line looked long but we only waited for like 6 minutes. We ordered the red velvet cake which was good, but didn’t realize they use almond flour in all their cakes. Good thing we got a cinnamon roll cause my bf has a nut allergy. They should make that a little more apparent since it’s pretty common. The cinnamon roll however was the best one Iv ever had ! I usually only love the parts with icing, but the parts of the breading that we’rent doused in icing were delicious too! We ate the whole thing :)
Service was a little too impersonal for such a quaint bakery in a great location! Would suggest to management to improve on service. We were given 2 different numbers to take to our table for table service and our orders never arrived. We finally went up to counter and there our orders were setting there with the coffee getting cold...
Best donut I've ever eaten!! No greasy after taste!! Loved it
It does not get better than this with croissants. I had the chocolate almond which was amazing with coffee, if you like very sweet this is for you. I also tried the ham and cheese, it is really great if you want something savory. Perfect flakiness and always coming out of the oven as you stand in line. It moves fast so don't let it deter you, it's worth it!
Throw your new years resolution to eat healthy once you dare walk into this place! What a treat (pun intended)! Their homemade "pop tarts" were phenomenal. Their other pastries and treats looked dangerous and delicious. Cool design, cool, chic, contemporary. A must visit when at the Pearl (phenomenal area too by the way). Reminds me of Yaletown / Gastown (Vancouver, BC), Downtown Portland - Pearl District, etc
I went in to get dessert for myself and my husband and ended up leaving with dessert for the next three days! Everything looked so delicious! We ended up having the Panna Cotta tonight and it was devine!
My wife really likes it. I think it's okay, as far as bakeries go.
Good variety. Fast, friendly service. It's a nice place for coffee, pastries, and conversation. I always go for their pastries, but they have savory options too.
Breakfast was delicious! My 2 and 4 yo had the baked oatmeal and loved it! I had the bacon and egg croissant it was perfectly cooked, and my husband's breakfast platter hit the spot. Environment is kid friendly and relaxed. Desserts are also a must have.
