I finally went to VG’s for the first time this past week and couldn’t be more impressed. Best chocolate cupcakes I’ve ever had. The vegan chocolate fudge cake is to-die-for (and doesn’t taste the slightest bit vegan). I didn’t have the highest hopes for the vegan vanilla thumbprint cookie, but it was so delicious I was actually worried about feeding it to my son with food allergies because I was shocked there was no butter in it. One of the best cookies I’ve eaten. Staff was friendly and welcoming too, this is Knoxville’s best bakery by far.

I ordered a custom cake this week for a baby shower with a Peter Rabbit picture on top. The artwork was beautiful and everyone thought the chocolate cake inside was as good as they had ever had. The biscotti with cranberries and almonds are great too.

People are friendly and helpful and the baked goods are wonderful. We had a huge custom cake made to our specifications. We chose chocolate, chocolate icing, raspberry filling, and it was delicious. Many compliments were received and the cake nicely complimented our party motif. We will definitely return for more.

VG's Bakery of Farragut Tennessee has the best fresh baked pastries, pies, and cakes, cookies made from scratch with love. The first time my family tried baked pies and cakes from VG's Bakery, was at a special event at downtown market square. I would love to see these amazing fresh baked peach cobbler pies and pineapple upside down cake sold in Kroger’s grocery stores this fall.

This is hands down the best bakery I have been to in 20 years. I discovered these folks at the Farmers Market in Knoxville and drove over from Wears Valley. The English muffin bread is to die for! I have also had there cookies, cupcakes and scones. Absolutely fantastic.

We have been visiting VG's at the farmers market for years and they did cakes and cookies for our wedding. Our cakes were exquisite, and we already knew the cookies would be out of this world. (Also very, very reasonably priced.) Add that it's a family operation run by great folks. We love VG's!!

Their service was exceptional. The choices they had just boggled my mind. So many cookies, pastries, pies etc. (sorry, not much of a cake person) I go in there once in a while and get a few pastries and cookies and never had any that didn't taste great! And for years I have gotten a dozen cinnamon rolls for Christmas day. My family looks forward to them every year! I have and will continue, to recommend this bakery to everybody!!!

Super disappointed in VG’s bakery’s influence on the closing of Silo’s. Subpar baked goods shutting down a beyond welcoming atmosphere filled with quality employees and product. I will never be using VG’s under any circumstance from this point on. Beyond disappointed.

This place is amazing! I love that they have smaller pies as well as pie by the slice. The coconut pie is heavenly and my best friend wasn't disappointed with her key lime pie. I even got some fresh pesto bread and took it home. Delicious, great selection and reasonably priced -I love this place.

The only reason I’m not giving this bakery a score of 1 is because the gal helping us was friendly. The bakery items tasted like hardened or hydrogenated shortening was used in the Whoopie pie (to us the center was like eating sweetened Crisco), three kinds of cookies, & cinnamon rolls (center part was pretty good if you don’t mind buying 2 or 3 to make up for the rest you you have to throw away). My husband and I very much dislike the taste of hardened shortening. We don’t know if this is what they used, but whatever it was tasted flavorless to us. We were very disappointed.

VG’s is fabulous. We ordered a custom cake. The gentleman who took my order provided excellent customer service. He listened intently to my requests and was thorough as he reviewed every detail. When we picked up the cake, I was blown away by the workmanship of the cake design. Extremely pleased!

Oh my sweet tooth! I was at the UT farmer's market and as I walked by the bakery's table, the aroma of sweet deliciousness hit me. I brought home a few things for the family and we loved every bite. The toughest part is going to be trying to figure out what treat to get the next time. Highly recommend!

Cakes are made with butter cream frosting. It's not a sugary too sweet frosting. Friendly staff, and pastries are really delicious

This is probably one of my favorite places in all of Knoxville. The love and care that goes into each bakery creation is fantastic. From their cinnamon rolls to their cookies and breads, I haven't had one thing that wasn't delicious. They bake custom cakes for birthdays, weddings or any event you need. Everything is very fresh. And they still go and sell at Farmer's Markets too!! So many brick and mortar stores don't do that. A truly delicious place and a Knoxville gem!

The door says they close at 6, we were there at 5:20pm and it was locked. There was a woman inside who pretended to not see us. The polite thing to do would be to open the door and explain why you're closed early or offer to sell us what you might have left. We drove off the interstate to give it a try and won't be back. Nor will we recommend to our family who lives locally.
