My wife and I visited here for the second time. We really liked the area, the people and the restaurant/bakery is amazing. Since our first visit in November 2018 I have been following the restaurant on social media, and every time they post something I wish I was back. We got breakfast and it was very good. The potato casserole is reason enough to come back. The waitress was friendly. We cannot wait to come back for many more visits, I'm sure.

The potato chowder was amazing and worth the trip to have on a cold rainy day. The chicken water chestnut casserole was OK at best, but rather tasteless and nearly room temperature. The presentation was equally unappealing - two grayish balls dipped with an ice cream scoop sitting on a nice plate. The fresh asparagus was good. The yeast roll was room temperature and mediocre. In a summary, lunch was a disappointment. Next time I have reason to lunch there, I'll stick to the yummy potato chowder.

This is the worst restaurant i have ever been in my life. If you read this you'll say I'm bullshitting but I'm not. The server was racist and I felt at the moment that I'm not seen. I mean when i was there i felt I'm invisible. More than that i was in my weekly family meeting. You know what I'm saying.

Great place to have brunch with friends and take out if town guests! I had the biscuits and gravy and the potato casserole and it was all soooo delicious!! The coffee was good and our waitress so so friendly and helpful! I also good a poppyseed muffin and a slice of pecan pie to take home. The poppy seed muffin was the best I ever had and my husband loves the pecan so much he asked if we could go to puffin muffin together:) would recommend and I will go again!

I love eating here! It's one of my favorite breakfast/ brunch places in Brentwood. I love taking people from out of town here. Their hot spiced tea is my favorite and I love their omelets. The tea room sampler is my favorite lunch, and you can run in and grab it to go from their ready- made food selection and it takes like two minutes, no matter how crowded the restaurant is.

When my family first started dining at Puffy Muffin the entire experience was great. But each time we go in the recent past we have been extremely disappointed & our experience last week was just plain horrible. After being for 15 min I finally stopped a waitress to ask who our waitress was. I must say, she kindly took our drink & food order. We received our drinks promptly but I honestly thought they forgot to put our food order in. When it finally arrived a different waitress made us feel like a pain in her butt & rushed away & we had no silverware or condiments - and oh yes, empty beverage glasses. After 10 min we received these things & of course our food was no longer warm. Because of all this we had to eat fast because we needed to get going. I asked for the check & she said she would be back because “now she was the cashier too”. She literally NEVER came back & I gave cash to a waiter cleaning a table. I forgot all of our to go boxes because I was so frustrated & late to a meeting. And mind me - it was 2:45 in the afternoon - not even that busy!!!

What a fabulous landmark makes me happy everytime. The chicken casserole and raspberry congealed salad is awesome..don't get me started on the pastries! Service is excellent atmosphere is busy at lunch but worth the wait.

I went here for work lunch and I wasn't super impressed. The spinach artichoke dip was awesome and so was the Ginger tea. I had the chicken quesadillas and they weren't very good, way too many onions and not enough cheese. May go back to try breakfast.

Is it possible to have friendly customer service while your busy? Not at Puffy Muffin. I found myself visiting this lovely cafe/bakery for the first time in hopes of picking up a beautifully delicious dessert to bring to a dinner that evening. After waiting patiently at the bakery counter for no less than 7 minutes, watching the 4-5 people behind the counter effortlessly put the finishing touches on the baked offerings, someone finally acknowledged that I was actually standing there. Her only words to me while pointing at another waiting customer, "She was here first.". I decided to quietly slip out of this cafe and visit the bakery at the adjacent Fresh Market where........I experienced the same thing. So Puffy Muffin, I don't hold you entirely accountable for your lack of customer service. Either it's just a "Brentwood" thing or I unknowing have RBF and therefore seem unapproachable. Either way... looking for recommendations of bakeries*outside* the Brentwood area.

My first time to the Puffy Muffin was a wonderful experience! I went with my son for lunch, the wait was not long. I enjoyed the atmosphere with all the modern design. Food and service was excellent! My hamburger was served with a fresh made bun. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. And to finish it up, walking over to the bakery and eating dessert! I had some mocha cookie and it was amazing! I wish I bought a dozen!

Conceptually, Puffy Muffin is a great idea executed with good intentions. Unfortunately, the day-to-day is what holds them back. I've been a few times now. For brunch, everything was below average. Spend a few dollars extra and go to Tupelo Honey instead. For lunch, I'd say the food is about average. Definitely skip their burgers. Salad was decent, especially with their house-made croutons. Still though - you'll get a better salad at J. Alexander's for about the same price. The glowing exception that I've found is the chicken tenders. Not the best in the area, but easily in the top 3. Their fries are pretty good and the honey mustard they use is delicious. Now, for the bakery. I have no idea how this aspect of their business survives. Once you find something that isn't dry, bland, or both... you'll find that it's quite overpriced.

My best friend and I were visiting Nashville and found Puffy Muffin online and it looked like a great find. We were very disappointed. My friend ordered Eggs Benedict with the eggs medium. The egg whites were runny and the pancake was cold. My scrambled eggs were good but the cheese grits were runny and cold. The biscuits and gravy were also cold. The manager deducted half of the cost of the Eggs Benedict after we complained. Really? That is horrible customer service. The waitress was horrible, the food was cold and not correctly prepared. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

I highly recommend Puffy Muffin for wedding cakes! Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. We ordered more cake than was needed so there was plenty. Many guests went for a second piece by the time the reception was over. I had several tell me it was the best tasting wedding cake ever (we chose traditional white wedding cake with a champagne icing). They were shocked as it was beautiful too.

A great breakfast place in Brentwood Tennessee. Found this spot on Yelp and decided to try during a recent trip to Nashville. The menu for breakfast made for tough choices but I settled on the pancakes which were excellent. As you can see from the photo the coffee mugs are very cool looking and our server kept the coffee filled. Wish we were in the area for a few more days because I would’ve really enjoyed trying the different breakfast items and lunch sandwiches. Definitely a place that will stay on our go to list anytime we are near Brentwood.

My favorite go to restaurant in Brentwood. Great for Sunday lunch, usually a short wait. All the food is prepared in house. Fantastic bakery. The Ginger Tea is delicious! Great place for a weekday lunch as well or to get it to go for a work meeting. Can't wait to come back. Emily is a great server!

This was the worst service I have ever received. It was my first time attempting to eat at the newest Puffy Muffin restaurant in Franklin. It was me and my 2 daughters. I entered on the bakery side and ordered from the menu. When we received our food in to go containers I stated we wanted to eat there. The waitress said we would have to eat "over there" and walked off! We went "over there" to the restaurant side and they refused to seat us!!! The hostess and waitress stated we needed to see a manager. We waited with our food getting cold to see the manager, still not seated. The manager said they typically do not seat bakery orders in the restaurant. Still not seated!!! This is a confusing setup and undertones of not wanting to seat "certain people " in their restaurant. I got my money back and left and ate at J. Christopher's where the service and food were excellent. I also asked if they had WiFi and was told "no", which is unheard of for a business. I will not be back to Puffy Muffin Franklin and will tell my social and professional organization and workplace not to patronize either.

Perfectly serviceable breakfast place; great place to take your parents for brunch, as long as you don't want a Bloody Mary to drink along with it. Decor takes its cues from every retirement community dining room everywhere, but the service is good and there's always a server swinging by to top off your coffee.

Would be helpful if restaurants informed online services when they have closed a location. (Like this one.) The cheery note taped to the locked door telling me not worry, they were consolidating to their Brentwood location did not cheer me up. It seemed self-serving and patronizing. Glad I didn't spend my money here.

I came here one day with a gift card for $5. My meal alone was so cheap after the gift card. I got the Reuben sandwich with French fries. The waiter was fast. Afterwards I made my way over to the desserts area and picked up some cookies for me and my friends. The English toffee was the best. I plan on going back.

Expensive, good quality baked goods. The red velvet cake is good until you run into the toffee chips sprinkled heavily on the frosting. The taste of the toffee makes an unpleasant combination with the cream cheese frosting. Why mess with a classic, especially if you are not improving it.

I had a pleasant experience at the Puffy Muffin, though i hate the name, everything tasted delicious. I had one of the best lemon bars ive had there and the chocolate bomb was fantastic. While it tasted very good the selection wasnt quite what i was looking for and i felt like it was overpriced. I will be back for the lemon bars though.

This is a rare find. It is in a shopping center where you usually find chain restaurants but the Puffy Muffin couldn't be more different from a chain restaurant. It is a family run business so the owner is rushing around to make sure everything is perfect. We discovered this place when it was recommended by a friend while visiting from California. We came twice in our two days in Nashville. The food really has that home made taste. You know they use only the best ingredients by the rich flavors. We had the chicken salad sandwich and a Reuben sandwich. Both were great. The desserts are where they truly shine. They are a bakery cafe with emphasis on the bakery. Their Chocolate Bomb Cake has perfect light chocolate mousse. Their lemon roll has a divine lemony mousse and their Snickers Cheesecake is rich and creamy.

Overpriced. The coffee was okay - better than Starbucks but not nearly as good as Dunkin' Donuts. The cheese grits were pretty good. The pancakes were doughy, heavy, and pale, the exact opposite of the description in the menu (fluffy and golden). We got some cookies to bring home but haven't eaten then yet; hopefully they will live up to the Puffy Muffin's reputation.

Great product terrible experience. The quiches are to die for, but they forgot to make our order. I had business meeting with 15 people and was picking up product at 7:40 am for an 8 am meeting. Upon arrival they let me know they forgot to make my order. They finally said they would just deliver when it was ready but that wasn't until 8:30 am, 30 min past our meeting time. This is the second time I have had this experience with Puffy Muffin; as much as I love the product I can't rely on them to have it prepared at the time needed.

Way overpriced for what it is. Staff was inconsiderate. Did not mention that bagging the cookies with what looked like bags from the Dollar Tree would be 75 cents per cookie. If I did that to a customer I would not even bill them for it. Downright bad customer service. Never good to sneak on added costs. Will lose business over time.
