We commissioned a chocolate Mario cake for my son's third birthday. They had the cake finished exactly on time and it was so delicious! The atmosphere in the bakery was one of the classic "Mom and Pop" businesses and it was so refreshing. The whole family enjoyed the cake and I would recommend using Peggy Ann's anytime you need a cake. Keep up the good work!

I will lead in saying I am a bit of a bakery freak. No matter where I am, I have to stop by a local bakery and see what makes it unique and of course try some food. Their donuts are HUGE and well worth the price, which is extremely fair. I don't think I can ever eat at Dunkin Donuts again after this! Fortunately I run so I can afford to have a donut every so often! I think my favorite is the maple bacon (pictured bottom right in box). But the creme filled (pictured in my hand) is so big I skipped lunch! The raspberry is a favorite of my mother's. I like the lemon but I wish it was a lemon creme and not a lemon filled. Next up are the cakes. The butter cream frosting is very rich and sugary but not to the point that you feel ill. It draws the line at no less than perfect in my book! Their cake decorators are top notch and can make almost anything you desire! Plus there is no fondant so it is truely edible artwork!!

Love the donut holes here because they are super sweet...even better than the donuts themselves! And though they rarely have them, the Toll Hose bars made with butterscotch are super yummy! My standby, is the cream filled donut with chocolate or caramel icing. There is always something new to try and it is nice to be able to order just one of something instead of a half dozen. I have never had anything I would not eat again!

I used to live in Greeneville 8yrs ago and while living there I discovered Peggy Anns! It is by far still my #1 favorite Bakery. Stopped in last weekend while I was in town and it is exactly how I remember! The food is great and the staff is a joy to be around. Everyone is always so kind. I bought my daughter's first birthday cake here 13 years ago and still go back almost every year. They have wonderful homemade cakes, pies, cookies, and about any dessert you can imagine. They have the best donuts in town and have a great lunch menu. I love their bachelor button cookies especially the maple ones they have during the Fall.
