Not sure if this place is still open? We went by multiple times on our vacation over a few days where Google said they would be open...it never was. There wasn't any signs on the door with their hours either so we finally just got a funnel cake at another place.

You really, really need to try them...but then you will be spoiled, and others will not taste as good. So...we come from Alabama and try to go there at least once ( usually more :) )

Funnel Cake Factory is a tiny gem of a Mom & Pop store located in the heart of Pigeon Forge. There's a sign on the door which reads 'Cash Only' & you can't miss it unless you truly didn't walk thru the store door. The owners shared with me that their store has been in operation since 1984 & their funnel cake recipe dates back to a family heirloom recipe. There are so many wonderful choices for dessert. Our favorites are the funnel cake topped with hand scooped ice cream & hot fudge sundaes. Kettle corn is made fresh daily in an old copper kettle. And homemade fudge lines the store shelves. If you're craving a delicious after dinner dessert then this is absolutely the place to go. The owners are the friendliest people we have ever encountered. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing place. We went once for funnel cake and once for ice cream all in one week. The gentlemen that run the place are as nice as can be and very family friendly. We ordered single scoops for our kiddos and we def got more and the one gentleman saw us eating our ice cream outside and brought our 2 yr old some sprinkles too. Excellent place and will def return when in town. To the guy who said he caught them on a bad night, I'm sorry to say sir, you must be the issue!

This is a little small mom&pop bakery the lady was friendly and the funnel cake was delicious I originally wanted the red velvet but she told me that there was no batter made so I chose an apple funnel cake oh well maybe next time.

By far the best hot fudge sundae I've ever had! And it's huge! Definitely worth every penny! The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home and didn't mind that our 2 year old though the place was a race track! The guy makes the funnel cake in front of you and it's pretty awesome to watch, he makes it look so easy plus it's pretty tasty! The pork rinds are pretty good also.

Great service and good amount of options to choose from. The cake is so big, the two of us couldn’t even finish one. It was too heavy. Oddly satisfying though haha. We had our dinner right across at mellow mushroom, grabbed the dessert from here and walked down the street to get to our car. Would do this every time I’m there. Loved the experience.

A must try if you love funnel cakes or popcorn!! We stopped by around 9:40pm for a late night snack to take back to our room. Great Mom & Pop Shop thats been open since 1982 with a very friendly owner that greets you as soon as you walk in and talks to you like he’s known you for years. Gave us a free sample of a fresh batch of caramel popcorn to try while he cooked our funnel cakes. Will definitely go back whenever we are visiting and are wanting something sweet!!

A great mom and pop shop! We came in around 10:15pm as it has the hours on google that its open till 11, which they close at 10. The owner let us in and was happy to serve us, had a great conversation with him and we will definitely be returning. The ice cream was awesome, will try funnel cake next time because we will definitely be back before our trip ends.

The funnel cakes were OK but in the multiple times we have visited only 1 time has been "amazing" the rest of the times were just average. The last visit the owners maybe 9 year old son was the one making the funnel cake and he was not wearing any of the normal protective items such as a hair net or gloves. to some that may not be an issue but to me it definitely is.

This review will not be as good as the rest I read on here. The week we visited Tennessee, I stopped by when it said they would be open and no, we got there on a Monday and finally on Friday they were open and I was super excited to go get a funnel cake b/c the reviews were sooo good. I was very disappointed with what I got. It was really hard, it sounded like I was eating potato chips. So if you happen to stop in when they are actually open, I hope you get a better product than I did.

I must have caught this guy on a bad night. I went here based on the great reviews. I found him to be ornery. The funnel cake was nothing to write home about. My hometown local amusement park makes better. I actually got this vibe in there reminding me of the soup guy episode of Seinfeld. I won’t be spending any of my hard earned money while in town next time here.
