What an eggcelent breakfast we had this morning! All of us in our family loved their meals. I had steak'n eggs which was fantastic, they had Mike's special and a couple of other combos. The lady that served us was a delight, and even though the decor was a little dated, it was easy to look past since that holds the least weight on my score card.

We stopoed in for supper on our way back from Sturgis. Steak Tips special was awesome! Salad bar was fresh! If you're lucky enough to get Jackie for your server, you'll be treated like family. She made our stop there so special, that we went back for an incredible breakfast the next morning.

I understand places have an "Off" Night, but the way we were treated by Rene will ensure we never return. I hope they are able to hire / train their staff better in the future.

I had read the reviews for this place and I totally agree. It may not look like much on the outside but the food is absolutely delicious. The prices are cheap for yummy comfort food. We were there on AYCE pork chop night and 2 of my sons really filled up for 10.99 each. This price also includes soup and salad bar. I had a 6 oz ribeye for 8.99 that also included soup and salad bar. It was so good. I would definitely return if traveling here again. Our waitress was awesome too!

I had lunch their today; one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant- the food was bad, the service was horrible and I will never go there again; pulled pork sandwich and the pork was as tough as shoe-leather; couldn’t eat it- the waitress forgot our drinks and never once came over to see how we were doing; had to track them Down to get anything All around terrible!!

The special was steak tips all you can eat choice of potato, salad and soup and was melt in your mouth goodness. Dessert triple chocolate cake delicious. This is our favorite restaurant! We visit there several times a month. The prices are unbelievably low. The food is fantastic and the portions are huge! They have a great soup and salad bar. I haven't been able to find a salad or soup I didn't like! If you don't like the soup of the day you can choose another. Service has always been superb and friendly. Many dinners come with salad bar included. Our personal favorite is the chicken fried steak. You won't believe the size of it! If you can't eat it all they will give you a go-box to take with you. If you don't have time to dine in you can call and they will prepare it to go. Their pies are the best you can get and homemade on site. You can buy it by the slice or the whole pie! It is conveniently located just blocks from the airport, 1 block North of Russell St . on Minnesota Ave. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!

Meh.......potential...but everything, and I literally mean everything is bland. Even the pancakes are blander than a pancake should be. I have eaten here multiple times and always get something different in the hopes that it will be better than last time. Lets get a little flavor in the food....starting with onions, I don't know what you use for "onions" but come on....they don't smell or taste like onions. They smell sweet and have little to no taste. When I ask for onions on a burger...i want an onion taste. And I get nothing...but bland. And with Marlens shutting down (tears up a little bit) you have very little competition on this end of Minnesota ave. So spend a little more money on qaulity, tasty food. Hell a giant thing of garlic salt is $15 at Costco...SOMETHING to add flavor to your food.

A classic diner with plenty of american food variety, especially breakfast options. The pancakes were meh, but the eggs were fluffy, not greasy and the bacon was crisp and yum. Service was also meh, so hope you're not in a hurry. They have a decent selection of homemade pastries in a display case by the door. there is also a refrig case of coke products by the door, so why are the fountain drinks all Pepsi?

This is a must-stop if you are visiting or passing through Sioux Falls! Amazing food, low prices, and a wonderful down home atmosphere. Stopped in for lunch with our two kids and couldn’t believe that the kids meals were only 2.99–and huge portions! They have a salad bar that comes with most meals on the menu. The pie was excellent and the service was so prompt and friendly. We can’t say enough good things about the Crack’d Pot!

If you judge books by their cover you'll never walk in this place and that would be a mistake. The food was great, service was great. I came for a late breakfast, had one of the multiple options and waddled out. The place could use a little updating, but the dining room is a charming throwback to an old school diner, tiny booths, even smaller swivel seats at the counter, its a little dark but breakfast was perfect. Price for 2 people was a little over $20, the portions were huge, definitely worth money.

This restaurant is not fancy, but has a great little salad bar, and good food. It's a quiet little place, with a down-home feel. The waitress was attentive and very friendly. She actually bought a slice of pie for a guy whose car had broken down, and he was waiting for a ride. It's things like that which will keep me coming back!
