My wife and I got our wedding cake here. The prices were very good and the cake was probably the best I have ever had. Everyone at the reception loved it as well. The guy that helped us in the cake tasting had some really good ideas that we put to use and I couldn't have been more pleased with what we got. This is the best value out there.

Much more delicious than the pastries at restaurants and grocery stores. Tried the blueberry muffin and the three berry scone. Absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, not to tart. Fresh and perfect!

The Bakery off Augusta did an amazing job on my wedding cake. We had the most fun at our consultation discussing design and flavor combinations. They gave us a box of samples to take home and try. We landed on almond cake soaked in amaretto with chocolate ganache filling. They brought it on location the day-of and decorated it with fresh cut flowers and greenery provided by our florist. It was stunning. The price was extremely reasonable, and they provide a complimentary mini version as an anniversary cake after one year. Would highly recommend The Bakery off Augusta to any bride-to-be!

We were scheduled for a cake tasting, but the primary contact person wanted to re-schedule since he had a family emergency and was going to be out of town. I didn't want to re-schedule since my mom was coming in from out of town in order to help me with vendors. Fortunately, he was very accommodating and said that another woman would be able to meet with us. When that day came the woman was very unprepared for our arrival. She first insisted that we tell her what flavors we wanted to try. I asked for a menu or listing of flavors that they offered since I had NO idea what I wanted. She said they didn't have a menu, they could do any flavor. I asked for key lime, but that was the one flavor they could't do because something with the "acidity" (even though we had just come from another bakery and sampled a wonderful key lime cake). She eventually just brought us a sample of 4 different flavors (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, red velvet-very basic and typical). They tasted awful! It tasted like box cake and you could tell the frosting was not real buttercream. She even said that they frequently use box mixes for their cakes. The whole appointment was disappointing. The woman was standoffish and not helpful. Go to Kathy and Company. They are much more professional and prepared with numerous samples of unique cake flavors.

Let me tell this to the whole world not only was just bakery clean and nice I ate some of the best baked food and cakes I have ever ate in my whole life I have been to every city in America a lot of different places I've met a lot of different people and I'll say this from the bottom of my heart I have never walked in anywhere and they showed me such great hospitality in my whole career of being a trucker I felt like family at this bakery and now there are part of my family because I'm 400 pounds and I love food they had the best Cherry Danish pastry I have ever ate my whole life along with the pretzels the young man was generous enough at the counter he gave me a few looks like you're trying let me tell you something the best pretzel I've ever ate and all their snacks and goodies are made with love every time I go to South Carolina they said they would make enough room for me to back my 18 wheeler in this seemed to be a family owned and operated business and they are doing a really great job this little small community business needs to be recognized by everyone to enjoy I highly recommend and I will be back thank you and I must add this because these people touched my heart yesterday I haven't seen my family but nearly three months but you're reminded me a lot of them yesterday and I can't thank you all enough sincerely Tony AKA tire spikes

This is one of the best bakeries I have experienced. it's a small shop which makes it very intimate. Staff know you even if you go in there infrequently. The pastries, breads, and especially the cakes are unbelievable. I have never been disappointed.

The Bakery Off Augusta serves delicious baked goods! The staff make excellent recommendations for treats to try and they seem to genuinely enjoy sharing their creations with everyone. They have a small dining area (only a few chairs) and a fairly small parking lot. They sell out of their food fast! We stopped in close to closing time today and they had a few options, but you could tell they had been busy! As a bonus, they were very nice and patient with our indecisive toddler.

Tom at The Bakery Off Augusta is GREAT! Our daughter and her husband were married on May 11th and Tom did the groom's cake and the wedding cake. The groom's cake was chocolate with peanut butter icing and chocolate icing. It was delicious! The cake had a superman theme and Tom even captured the paisley design from the men's ties with the icing tie. The wedding cake was 3 layers, chocolate, strawberry and white cake, which looked beautiful on the dessert plates. Everyone raved over the taste and the neapolitan look. When Tom delivered the cake and saw we were running close on time to get guest tables finished, he pitched in and helped us finish. He was a lifesaver! I would definitely recommend him and The Bakery Off Augusta for any baking needs you might have and rest assured you will be in good hands.

Tom designed and executed my wedding cake in July. The cake stole the show of the event! It was beautiful and tasted better than it looked. I asked him to design the cake after the design of my dress- and he hand piped lace on the layers as well as recreating the design of my belt on one of the layers of the dress! The cake was amazing and I cant wait to have my anniversary cake next July. All of the staff are amazing and very helpful! Awesome experience and the best cake in the Upstate!

This is by far the BEST bakery in the upstate & beyond!! I grew up in an area of the northeast where bakeries are everywhere, and so many of them were fantastic. But I moved to Greenville and instantly missed that. We have a few bakeries but they're either overpriced or underwhelming. But then I found The Bakery off Augusta, where the team is so friendly and knowledgeable, where everything is so fresh and delicious, and where you can treat yourself to the tastiest baked goods for the most reasonable prices! If you've never been, you have to go... And if you have been then you're likely hooked like me!!!

This guy is amazing. My son was married in Japan and we had a reception for him and his bride here in Greenville. I sent The Bakery of Augusta a picture of the Japanese cake and ask them to make one to look just like it. It was perfect, only tasted better than the Japanese version. Attention BRIDES!!! By far, this is the best bakery in the Upstate. Tom made my wedding cake (strawberry and lemonade), and everyone raved about it. Connie is so accommodating and easy to work with. These are the kind of people who make you feel like you are the most important customer they have. If you don't know what you want or need, they will help you figure it out and will make your cake as simple or extravagant as you want. I just called to order a cake for our first anniversary, and Connie told me that I get a free 6-inch anniversary cake since I bought my wedding cake from them.
