Loved this local bakery. It was a quick 20 minute walk from our condo and we were recommended from a local. We ordered a lot of items and couldn't stop eating these delicious baked goods! I definitely recommend the crumb cake; it's a great spin on the traditional coffee cake with a lot of added crunch! Go and get something delicious from Crumb Buns!

Very Disappointed!!! Couldn't wait to try so took a drive from the south end of the Beach Not worth the drive. While their crumb buns look good they were hard thought they would be like a coffee cake texture , muffins were the same even after microwaving Also got 2 different kinds of bars. Costco or local grocery stores are much better Disappointed to say the least !!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!! Kaylee at Crumb Bum Bakery was amazing to work with. From the day we met with her we felt so comfortable and almost like we've known her for years. She made a variety of pies and cookies for our wedding recently. She arrived ahead of time and set everything up so perfectly. The pies were an unbelievable sight and tasted even better. The cookies were huge and so delicious. People cannot stop talking about the dessert and how good it was. The presentation was beautiful, the price was more than reasonable and the taste was mind blowing. If you're looking for a baker for any event please pay Crumb Bum Bakery a visit!!!! You will not be dissappointed!!

My family and I feel like we walked into a bakery back home; the aroma of the coffee, breads and deserts fill the shop as well as a warm homey back home feel with music and eye appealing decor. The signature desert the Crumb Bun is made as a crumb bun should; less cake more crumb; delicious. Another favorite is the Canoli, can almost write a review on everything that is made. So if you want the feel of back home and the taste, I highly recommend this bakery. Lived here for 10 years and have not found a bakery on the Grand Strand that comes close.

Tuesdays $1 cupcakes is the best deal to take advantage of here. Was pretty disappointed in our wedding cake from here. 2 stars is for the effort made to communicate with us prior to the wedding, and the enthusiasm put forth to give us what we wanted. However, our cake was not a lot like what we had discussed (12 months) leading up to the wedding. The decorations were not at all what we discussed with Katie before the wedding, and the flavors were not very prevalent, the way they were at the tasting. Us and our guests were pretty disappointed at the final product. Our previous rating was 5 stars: Had a cake tasting here for our wedding and staff went above and beyond to cater to us. We had no idea what we wanted and they worked with us and gave great ideas until we came to EXAXTLY what we wanted. We chose them over 6 other bakeries in myrtle beach. Robin is amazing; very friendly, helpful, and super fun to work with! She had great ideas and I cannot wait to see my wedding cake!

Oh. My. God. Everything here here was so delicious. I pretty much ordered one of every cupcake because they looked so good. They tasted just as good and they were gone before I knew it! The only description I can give the owner of crumb buns is an unskilled con-artist. Not only did the cake I ordered look like a kindergarten project they misspelled my husband’s name “WILL”. Since this was a surprise party I had a friend pick up the cake a few hours before time. When she sent me the picture of this monstrosity, all I could do was cry. I called the store right away and spoke with the employee on duty. They offered to correct the misspelling and provide a partial refund. With the time constraint I was under that was the best I was going to get. A majority of the cake was uneatable by our guest, whom shared my observation that either this cake was beyond the skill level of the business or they simply didn’t care what the product looked like after receiving payment. I could have save 2/3 of my money and had Wal-Mart make the cake. At 120.00 I expected much more. When a returned to the store on Tuesday for the “promised” refund of $45.00, the owner said he would only refund $20.00, because the cake had been returned damaged, which was a bald faced lie. Don’t just take my word for it, look at the pictures that will be posted on yelp and tripadvisor of what I ordered and what this crook produced. Being unskilled is one thing, being a liar and a cheat is down right despicable.

Wedding cake review: I have been shopping around for where to get a wedding cake and my aunt found this place. I am not a huge sweets person so I honestly didn't care about my cake and we had already been to other bakeries the same day we visited this one. I wasn't very enthusiastic about trying more cake and was already sick of all the sugar I had previously ingested. I'm sure the expression on my face showed it. However, the experience of the cake tasting alone with this facility completely blowed me away. Paul, one of the main guys, worked with us and you could tell how passionate and dedicated is he about his work. After talking with me, he knew exactly what would be good for me then had me try several different kinds of cake. THEY WERE PHENOMENAL! Again, I am not a sweet person but I really loved the cakes, and it was very difficult to choose. I ended up choosing a 3 tier cake with the bottom being Almond Kiss, the middle being White Christmas, and the top being a personal favorite of mine that my grandma would make, Orange Mandarin. The cakes are not overly sweet and are bursting with flavor. They do a marvelous job blending the flavors together without being totally dependent on sugar alone. Paul and the rest of the crew were able to understand my personal tastes and interests to help design a cake for me. We picked out what it would look like and everything. We even went back and decided to get a groom's cake from them because we know it is going to be well worth it. I never in a million years thought I would say this, but the most exciting thing I'm looking forward to regarding our wedding is the wedding cake! I'll update this post again after our wedding in June, but this is a can't miss spot!

I truly love this bakery. we had no wedding cake left from them, people raved over how great it was. I have bought so much variety of things there. Wedding cake, MANY birthday cakes, cookies, cheesecake, brownies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, the works. They even sell dog treats, obviously can't say how great they are, but people seem to love this place. they are the BEST bakery around and the Cheapest! The decorator, Lindsey maybe, has made everything I call up and describe even better than I can imagine it. I called in a "scary Halloween birthday cake" and I said surprise me and it looked amazing. Love their work and I recommend them to everyone I know.

Everytime I visit, I have to get baked goods and cupcakes for the house for the week. On Tuesday's they run a special..cupcakes for $1 each, 12 max. It's phenomenal. I have pictured at the bottom a small selection. Other specials run during the week also. This is a steal for how amazing everthing is made. Only wish they had a store in the Northeast so I can come more often! Can't stress enough how pleasant the staff is. When you walk in, they are so inviting and nice. They allow you to select what you would like and offer kind advice. To the owner- you have an amazing product and shop here. Great job! Can't wait to come back and visit.

A trip here is never complete without going to the Crumb Buns Bakery. Tueaday is $1 cupcake day and well worth it. Also the Crumb Buns have the biggest crumb topping I've ever seen and their biscotti is amazing. Another face of mine is their fresh heggie rolls. Dont let the outside or location fool you. Amazing! My dad tried the cinnamon rolls and said they were the best he's ever had. My mom and I couldn't try the cinnamon rolls because we both have celiac, but luckily for us, that make all kinds of gluten-free treats. We ordered cinnamon sugar muffins and they are absolutely amazing. These bakers have mastered gluten- free! We love them so much that we're taking a whole bunch back to Chicago with us. And even better, no gluten- reaction! They know how to prepare them safely. We're going that they can ship out orders. What a treat!
