If you want excellent customer service, this is the place to go. Not to mention their cookies are AMAZING. I went in early (before they had cookies out for sale) and the guy behind the counter helped me tremendously in getting cookies to bring back home. I also watched him interact with other customers, who seemed to be regulars, because he knew their name and their orders. So very impressed. By the food and the service.

Our go to coffee shop when in Charleston! The breakfast sandwiches are beyond amazing - HUGE does not even describe the size. Cannot decide which is my favorite, the bacon, egg & cheese or the Canadian bacon, egg & cheese. Either way they are fantastic. We have found out from local friends that they supply baked goods for several of the local restaurants - always a plus. If they have the crumb cakes by the front counter, make sure you buy an extra one to take with you to go. You will not regret it later on.

This bakery supplies baked goods to a lot of shops around town and for good reason. Everything that comes out of their ovens is pure gold. Get here early for a breakfast sandwich. I always get the chorizo but they have ones with no meat as well. This is a great place to work remotely or read. The upstairs sitting area has plenty of space and rarely gets too loud.

Charming little bakery off the beaten path of King Street. Not much room to eat inside, but we enjoyed the outdoor porch on a beautiful morning. We wanted to order one of everything because we love food and lack self control, but decided to share the Hangover Sandwich instead—it did not disappoint! I haven't been to all of the bakeries in Charleston, but I'm pretty close. None of the other bakeries even compare. You can tell the difference the second you walk in the door and smell the fresh bread and pastries. This is my favorite breakfast spot.

A place set off from everything else but so great! I think we walked out getting one of everything for breakfast for the rest of the week. Guy up front was one of the bakers, not sure which one, but he was awesome as well. Need to check this place out!! (Everything we bought has been fantastic so far!) The lemonade too is amazing.

Very popular stop with the college crowd. A lot of the locals just walk to the coffee shop because there is very little parking on the street front. Great place for any type of coffee and a croissant.

The baguettes are quite good, but they are not really ever shown in the part of the bakery when you walk in. The staff here universally makes you feel like you have interrupted their daytime nap when you come in to place an order. Overall, bread good, staff meh

I visited from out of town, had their bread at a restaurant they supply and had to check out the bakery. I went on on a Sunday morning around 9 and there were 5 or 6 people in line ahead of me. The queue kept a steady amount of people. The location is too small for the kind of people who like to hang out with their work or school laptop, but for a quick bite with a friend or to get something to go it is perfect. The bagel bomb was the best bagel style pastry I've ever had. The espresso was pretty good, not the best, but enjoyable. They had a pretty good selection in the morning, but I wouldn't expect it to last too late in the day. The bakers all seemed quite busy in the back, and they can do day before preorders for bread. If you're visiting Charleston pray you get to try some bread at some point.

I lucked out on my trip to Charleston because this place was right around the corner from where I was staying. I went there for coffee in the mornings and it was always a pleasant way to start the day. The baristas are so friendly and down to earth, plus they're more than happy to explain the unique bakery items to customers and why each one is delicious.

Do you know he muffin man? If not and you want to find him, go to Brown’s Court Bakery. The first time we went we had breakfast sandwiches, cookies, and muffins. All really good, but the muffins....... The muffins are unbelievably delicious. So good we went back the next day just to try more flavors. My favorite was the chocolate banana but you can’t go wrong with any of them.

Fantastic baked goods and breads. If you want to put any kind of baked goods on your menu: cookies, bagettes, brioche, focatia, croissants, donuts, etc check out Brown's Court bakery first! (I don't believe they make bagels however). They also make phenomenal cakes/pies to order 48 hours ahead around the holidays.

Great product, I have been coming here for a couple years. The pies for thanksgiving and king cake for mardi gras are superb. But clean the tables once in a while. I almost want to vomit sometimes when dining in.
