This Italian Cream Cake was so delicious that I don't think there are words to describe just how good it was. It was scrumdiliumptious - light sponge cake, italian cream, layered with fresh berries and whip cream frosting. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HEAVENLY THIS WAS. Every person at my Birthday party raved about this cake. This was a half sheet cake that had only 4 small pieces left.

Hadn't been there in a while..less availability in afternoons but still same great bread & pastry selections. Service there is quick, knowledgeable & helpful. Great for placing holiday orders. Call ahead for sweet bread...it sells fast...I had chocolate cheesecake & it was extremely yummy!! My sister got a mousse filled chocolate Easter egg & was extremely pleased with her choice! Parking is mostly on the street, & you can miss the building if you aren't careful, but well worth the trip.

Beautiful cupcakes for a 6 year old birthday party. Ordering was a breeze, very accommodating and we didn’t give much notice. The cupcakes were a huge hit at the party, absolutely beautiful, came on a nice platter, and they were delicious! Unicorn decorated filled with purple buttercream chocolate and vanilla. Very reasonable!

I ordered five pies for Thanksgiving, spent over $100s. Blueberry was disgusting, tasted like cheap Walmart style canned fruit with absolutely no flavor. Family threw the entire pie in the trash. Custard pie tasted artificial, that pie was tossed too. Apple pie was disgusting! Chocolate cream pie tasted like Crisco! The remaining pies were not touched! Completely dissatisfied and disappointed!!!!!!

This bakery is amazing! Recently I ordered the Cherry Almond Torte and Dinner Rolls for an informal party. The cake was freshly made and a unique combination of flavors and the dinner rolls were still warm from the oven!!The attention to detail and customer satisfaction is second to none. The prices are very reasonable too. Vesta Bakery is my new go to bakery in Westerly.

I ordered a birthday cake last year from them and long story short when I got the birthday cake it was absolutely horrible, it was poorly decorated, it was rushed, and my name wasn't even centered on the cake. When ever I show a picture of this cake to people they laugh, that's how bad it was. I was surprised because I've ordered birthday cakes for years from them and always enjoyed and loved what they did but the last cake I ordered showed a utter disregard for quality. I even posted a review on Facebook once which I eventually deleted because the owners nut case husband wrote a giant response arguing with me over it when the truth was Vestas did an awful job, that's it. So would I go there again? No, but last time I checked they do have good baked goods, but perhaps even that's changed.

My office gets cake from here every month for cake day!! It is always delicious. I also used them for my wedding cupcake tier and it was awesome. I got asked who made them especially because we had four different flavors. I go back and chance I get and their cheesecake is off the chain! Please try them. It is worth it!

We received so many compliments on the wedding cake Vesta Bakery made for us. One guest told us it was the most delicious wedding cake they had ever had. It was chocolate cake with mocha icing on two tiers and chocolate icing on the last tier. Our guests also loved the theme of the cake, they were taking pictures of it all night! We had a dinosaur cake topper (ordered separately) and fossils made from piped frosting on the sides. They did an amazing job, the price was fantastic, and it was delivered on time with no difficulties according to our set up crew. I will be using this bakery for any future cake needs as well as any pastry cravings! Vesta Bakery is the best!

Good bakery items however most were sold out by 10 AM so there was only a small selection of baked goods to choose from. Also having a tip line on your credit slips is insane. Am I supposed to tip you for handing me 6 dollar loaf of bread? You can do better.

I ordered a sheet cake for a Birthday party for my husband. The cake was beautifully decorated and it was an amazing carrot cake that people are still talking about 2 years later. This is the only place in Westerly where I would buy a cake. Yummy and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them. Just remember that you need to order a cake 2 days in advance. Every cake is custom made. They also have some breads and desserts that you can buy when you walk-in (without ordering ahead). The lemon tarts and chocolate bombs are wonderful. Everything there is wonderful. Everything sells out early on holidays.

Allyson and company made my father's 90th Birthday cake. It was the finish line scene of a thoroughbred race track. I sent her some pictures of racetracks, outlined the scene I wanted and made last minute adjustments. The cake looked and tasted amazing. We got the chocolate raspberry. It was light, moist and melt in your mouth delicious. It had just the right amount of sweetness. I can't say enough about the service and products. Of course, I couldn't resist buying muffins and pecan rolls while I was there. They were just as wonderful as the cake. What really sets these baked goods apart is they are light and have the right amount of sweetness. I can eat the whole thing and enjoy every bite. Often other baked goods are too heavy and sugary for me to enjoy to the end.
