We ordered a birthday cake with baby shark theme. They did a great job. I was surprised to see the variety of baked food available there. The staffs are friendly and helpful. It is very reasonably priced.

Disgusting, dry, coconut pastry. I had to spit it out. Stale. Yuck. My husband had some type of caramel pastry and it taste like raw sugar and gritty. 1st time there, never again. Will also post on Trip Advisor because the pastry cost $7.00 each.

Move your " now serving" dispenser closer to the counter so customers can see it. Service is typical of a neighborhood Portuguese bakery. They have great pastels de nata.

Probably the best Portuguese bakery we have been to since we moved to Providence Rhode island. All their items were so fresh. They have both bread and dessert items. they make excellent and extremely fresh sandwiches. We got some coffee and it was surprisingly really tasty. The staff are really efficient and super friendly. There was a constant flow of people which is a good sign that this place gets a lot of repeat customers. Everybody knew what they wanted.

I would give 0 stars if i could. I reached out by phone, in person and a message on their website in which i even received an automated confirmation in return for my appointment. Noone called me back or would help me. This is supposed to be a happy time celebrating my families event and instead it was disappointing and stressful. How do you stay in business when you dont respond to someone who is trying to order a cake from you ?? Its been a week now and still nothing. Would never recommend this place.

Love coming here when I am back in town, a staple an long time business in East Providence. As a first generation born American or Portuguese decent it is a blast of tastes of my childhood. Where I currently live it is impossible to find what they have.

I ordered a Napoleon cake for my Wife's birthday. The baker said they could make one. On the day we went to eat it. It was not a Napoleon cake and was basically hard, chewy flake pastry layers with frosting for filling. Couln't even eat it. Threw our pieces away. . Really ? They could have just told me they didn't know how to make one. I gave 3 stars only because we returned it and they refunded half. I wouldn't go back after being deceived.

During a road trip we were discussing where to find the best pastel DE nata in the us something that could even come close to what we eat in Portugal this Is something that is close to impossible to find but Taunton is very well known so we stopped here for a espresso and pastel de nata..which ended up with additional item portuguese rice pudding! All was very good not as good as Portugal but closer than a lot of other places we've tried. Highly recommend. We plan to stop here again on our way home.

You must arrive early otherwise you'll get no bread, they sell out quickly, as a Portuguese woman I can tell you they make the best bread hands down. They have plenty cakes you just have to order fresh to go. They have every pastry you can think of.
