Great scone, cheddar scallion... one of the best I've had. Enjoying the great Dave's Cold Brew and can't wait to try my yummy looking snicker doodle. Everything made from scratch on premise (a rarity) and uses local sourced wherever possible. Can't wait to try the rest of their baked goods.

What a wonderful place! I stop here to get coffee and the occasional sweets. The coffee is always delicious, always fresh. I enjoy the people who work there especially Cal. She is always so pleasant and makes sure you get exactly what you want. you can tell she really likes her job and is happy to be there. They also have coffee cards where you can earn a free coffee after so many. I love to support a local business and this is above and beyond any of the chain coffee places in town. Wonderful experience all around.

Inviting casual atmosphere where great "DAVE'S Brand coffee" is mixed with a changing selection of delectable delites. Not only will you experience the freshest coffee but their DESSERTS are heavenly. When hosting an event it's the only place to have that special cake made. From the littlest of a simple cupcake to that magnificent grand Wedding Cake. Enjoy. I always do.

This was my first time visiting and I loved it! I got there about 20 minutes before closing time, so there wasn't a lot to choose from so I ended up getting their banana bread and it was delicious! Inside was cute and homey, but everything was a little pricey, but the portions were good.

Kim, the owner, is so fantastic. She's very easy to talk to and so accommodating! She made cupcakes for my wedding along with a 6 inch cake for the cutting. We got the cupcakes in oreo and salted caramel and the cake was pumpkin spice with cinnamon frosting- they were all to die for. She set it up beautifully creating an awesome beach theme with brown sugar and sea shells. I loved working with Kim and would definitely use Sweet Althea's again!

The cake I ordered was not only amazing looking, but it tasted delicious, too. Everyone loved it. The staff there was fantastic, and the location was cute and cozy. If I wasn't in a rush when I picked it up, I would have stayed for a coffee, because I loved the atmosphere. Normally, main Street in EG can be a bit of a pain for finding parking, but Sweet Althea's is set back behind Sa-Tang, and has plenty of parking. I'll always order my cakes from there from now on. I can't recommend them enough.
