REVIEWS OF Slice of Heaven IN Rhode Island

Leslie Marroquin

Not my favorite place for food, but great ppl and atmosphere

Aaron Orchard

Local Jamestown breakfast spot with a large selection of breakfast items including waffles, pancakes, omelets, and baked goods! Came here with a large group after a half marathon—the service was fast and the food was delicious. You order at a counter and pay before getting your food. Make sure to check out the outdoor seating!

Tinna Pugh

Good experience. Great location. Charming cottage just needed a little cleaning in the corners. I would definitely recommend.

Donna Cooper

Great food. Love it. Fresh veggies on omelet.

T. B.

Great coffee, fresh sandwiches, and hone-made pastries. Inside and outside dining.

drew gatlin

Way above average cakes

Elizabeth Eber

A little pricey but good. 3 of us had waffles, 1 had eggs Copenhagen, 1 had bagel with smoked salmon, 5 coffees, and the dog had 1 scrambled egg, total was $75.

Cindy Bapties

Excellent coffee and breakfast.

Judy Kenower

Nice friendly place, good coffee and good pastry. Beautiful area.

Stanley Brown

A variety of delicious breakfast options -- omelets, french toast, breakfast burritos, pancakes. (Our only disappointment so far was with waffles.) Friendly, efficient service. It's hard not to eat too much!

Rebecca Hildebrandt

Loved the atmosphere and the set up. However, th waffles were drenched in butter and didn’t have much flavor. Seemed kinda pricey too.

Brian Bigda

Good eats with a nice variety of unique spins on some more traditional sandwiches/meals. Good location in the heart of Jamestown.

Ginny Schneider

Went to this restaurant for breakfast today. Great staff and menu. Definitely make a return trip soon!

Michaela Kennedy

This cafe is a great place to meet friends or network with business connections. I love the fresh variety of breakfast goodies and lunch wraps, and Slice serves great-tasting coffee, too.

Daryl Lucas

Pretty good food, even for the gluten-free crowd.

George Eglesfield

Amazing food selection

James Dudley

Fantastic dining experience. Truly a slice of heaven on a beautiful island!

The food and the service rate 5 stars. The dining room is very noisy.

Karen Yakabowskas

Mitchell Sinberg

The best sandwich shop in Jamestown!

Jeremiah Gonzalez

Great little cafe minutes from Newport, spectacular views in the area, tucked away on a little backstreet! Very at home welcoming feeling, pleasant staff, great selection 5/5 overall!

Benjamin Lathan

Great food! Good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I had blueberry pancakes with what appeared to be a metric tonne of blueberries in them!

Ginely Bartholomew

I was looking forward to it, but it was just okay was not impressed at all. Fast service and staff, just a bit pricey for small portions on lunch, clam chowder was mostly broth and potato, bathroom was unkept and messy. This location has on street parking in the middle of downtown jamestown,RI. Parking can be very tricky with a large vehicle.

Lucy Kinsley

We LOVE Slice of Heaven!!!

krissy nashville

Oh my. God. Outrageous baked goods, my lunch was delicious, a ham and. Cheese sandwich that was in the "gourmet" side of preparation. Would definitely recommend this eatery.

Tyler Morin

Great tea and cold brew, fair prices and outdoor seating

David Kraus

Friendly and prompt service. Unfortunately the food is rather mediocre. We did not care for the clam chowder, heavy on dill and whole kernel corn. My egg sandwich was over cooked and the sausage was boring. May give them another chance.

Samantha Bonsignore

So many delicious items!

Cathy Barry

Great atmosphere, great food!

Peri Solder

It was great food and service. Beautiful patio to enjoy our breakfast

Marion Fahrenfort

Nice and busy breakfast restaurant. Many local people. In center of Jamestown, ct

Nice place to stop for breakfast on your way into Newport. Friendly staff and excellent food!

Marjorie Stradinger

I am so excited that a patron was finishing up her kale salad as we walked into our favorite Jamestown breakfast spot early Saturday morning for our 9th anniversary weekend visit. I ordered the kale salad with the lemon vinegarette and my husband had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant, with his lemon muffin and cinamon roll (life is not fair). But my kale salad, with its goodies like cranberries, lentils, almonds, was so absolutely delicious I didn't care about not eating pastries (well, I had a corner of his). On my second breakfast, Sunday, I had the Danish omelet with smoked salmon and it was also wonderful. Hubby had fish and chips--and though he liked it, reiterated to himself--I do not like friend food, especially for breakfast. Third day, I went back to my kale, and asked what oil was in the dressing--found out not Canola, but there was some soy oil, and they happily served me olive oil and lemon wedges on the side to dress my salad with healthful oil. Hubby had his sandwich and a carrot cake this time. Their coffee seems to have diminished in quality, but they do offer free refills. We tanked up at Bay Voyage Inn, who evidently read my last year's review of their coffee and reformed with much better Joe.

David Orser

Good gelato

jeff B

Nice place, very good food, friendly people

Susan Piccerelli

They are wonderful people and the food is great!

Leah McCann

Service was slow, oatmeal was the first to come out and it was cold, breakfast sandwiches followed and the eggs were runny, almost 15 mins later the first waffle was brought to the table (for our daughter) then almost 10 mins later the 2nd waffle was served (for our 4 year old). Server appologized and told us they only have one waffle iron. Our family of 6 all ate breakfast at separate times, definitely disappointed in the entire experience and quality of food.

Alexa Gold

Gluten free breakfast sandwiches and desserts available! Tastes so great!

Z Ward

Over priced... To go they have the food for you to build your own breakfast sandwich...payed 15$ to build my own food what did they do? I should get payed half.

Tony Schullo

Great food, but nitro coffee was not foamy as it should be. Easy fix, no excuse for that, especially if you're charging 5 dollars for it and filling cup with ice.

Louise Johnson

Best Greek omelette in my life! And really appreciated the free Wi-Fi.

Eric Davis

Stopped in for quick breakfast. Probably one of the most delicious waffles I've had. Fast service too.

Amy Barclay

you can tell they use super quality ingredients in everything they make. Their roast beef sandwich with the horseradish is amazing and the carrot cake is a worthy finish up. My husband swears by their croissant French toast and he loves the carrot cake too. It becomes a dual of sparring forks.

CC Adventures

Great food. The customer service was great!

Joanna Chapin

Great place and open in the winter.

Joanne DeSena

Tiny little breakfasts for the money... It was good, but I'm still hungry.

Andrew Urban

It was just okay. I had the breakfast burrito which was alright. And my fiance had The turkey sandwich. The coffee was great. If I wanted a sandwich for take out to go by the water I would go back.

Marc Bond

Amazing food and a great staff. My kids were hopping around the place and the staff was hopping with them. Really friendly. I would recommend the breakfast sandwiches.

Julie Cerrito

I love this place. Why? I can get the healthiest omelette in the world for breakfast or dinner...I can eat outside and the patronage is really *good people*.

Cody Lach

Good food, decent and varied selection, pleasant and friendly staff. Would recommend a visit if nearby.

Donna Tarantino

Always wonderful food and caring attentive staff

Lisa Carter

A favorite breakfast stop on a rainy weekend morning. Breakfast burritos and eggs benedict are or typical choices.

Sue Dickinson

The perfect gourmet cafe. Wonderful food and cheery casual atmosphere. Plenty of selections for everybody even the pickiest eaters, priced very reasonably.

Lorenzo Tijerina

The carrot cake was moist and carroty.

Scott Carroll

Carrot cake was fantastic

arianna petroff

Food was good, however, table service is not as good here. I felt rushed when my order was taken, and I ordered a salad and there was no dressing with it. Hard to understand the employees be as well.

Mike Stoller

Salmon bagel is really good.

Rosemary Pacheco

Fantastic. Great. The grilled cheese and brie was delish! Good place to grab a coffee and lunch/breakfast!

Shawn w

I ordered a slice of carrot cake I wasn't anything special. They had an alright selection and they served other food, they're also one of the few places around that are open in the early morning

Jason Mcnamee

Good sandwiches, service is good. A little pricey, but the quality and selections warrant it.

Sarah Elizabeth

The pulled pork, BBQ, cheddar and egg wrap was so good! They have gluten free wraps!

Tammy Guile

Food was great, lines were long!!!

Steph N

The fresh pastries in the morning are amazing. Get the pecan cinnamon bun guy! Breakfast sandwiches are also delicious. Dinner is also great.

Corey Marino

This place is very crowded in the mornings. This is probably because there are only so many places to go in Jamestown. What was nice was that they have a water station for people to use while they're waiting in line. Once you put your order in, they'll give you a number, and you can bring your number to your table to sit and wait. Despite how busy it was, it wasn't hard to find a table. They did forget my order, and they had my plate out when my friends were about halfway through their meals, but they were apologetic about it. They do have a vegan breakfast option, I got oatmeal and they gave me a side of almond milk to put in it.

William Jones

I recently moved to Washington state after living in Jamestown for 24 years. I've seen this site go through several different owners and the current duo is the best yet. The two guys running the place now are culinary artists, unlike prior owners that just wanted to try their hand at the restaurant business with no formal training nor experience. That knowledge and skill shines through in everything on the menu. I came back to visit with old neighbors on 14-July and the food is still fantastic. You order at the counter and the main dishes are on placards over the counter (deserts are on the counter or in the chiller). Pick a table in the sunny interior or on the patio with a view of Narragansett Ave a and they bring your food to you. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait, given a sunny summer Sunday just after noon. I had the Gran Marnier French Toast which was superb with real maple syrup, whipped butter, and a fresh strawberry. I've enjoyed the California Turkey Wrap and the Breakfast Burrito in the past as well. If you're in Jamestown or nearby it's well with your time to stop by for breakfast or lunch.

Rachel Harvey

The blueberry pancakes and waffles are heavenly. The staff was very friendly and even gave my 8 year old a complimentary pancake. We will definitely return when we are in the area again!

Frank Faubert

Great place. Food great. Staff knows how to smile

Brandon Luk

Wonderful staff, great place to visit, also food is unique and different than most standard cafes around

Safiye Cagar

Good place for breakfast. Food is very good.

Brett Bailey

Stopped here on a Sunday morning while heading to Newport. Great place to stop. Free street parking. Easy to get to. Browse the menu outside of it is your first time. The menu inside is on wall signs and will look different. Walkup counter service with delivery to table of prepared foods. Nice selection of fresh pastries on display for you to pick from. Inside and patio seating. Enjoyed the toasted bagle with salmon, cream cheese and capers. You could taste the flavor of each ingredient. Service was fast and the staff helpful. Took a few minutes after breakfast to walk down to the harbor just a block down the hill.

Rachelle Henley

Wonderful place for breakfast or lunch in Jamestown. Right in the center of town.

Ed Silveira

as far as I'm concerned after being in the restaurant business since I was eight years old and I am a little older now in my 40s, the effort and time and the attention to detail is remarkable from homemade gelato, homemade granola that's fantastic! And I recently had had a Panna cotta - it was fantastic! Steven and Maria you have hit it out of the ballpark, i'm very particular about my food because I've been in the industry for 20 years and I know what happens I've seen it all, and I'm proud to say that these folks have remain committed to homemade, scratch cooking and baking! I wish you and your family all the best, you have a beautiful family and I wish you all the best for many many years to come!!! in the meantime I'll enjoy the wonderful handmade with care, At the SLICE OF HEAVEN- usually ranked number one in the town! If you haven't been there you should try! This should be on everyone's bucket list!

Hamburger was delicious - meat was flavorful, topped with 4 slices of bacon, and slightly spicy salsa. Yummmmmm! Sweet potato fries were "to die for." Fish and Chips were okay. Turkey wrap was good.

Catherine Suarez

Loved it! I haven't had carrot cake in a long time because of my gluten allergies and they had so many desserts to choose from that was gluten free. Plus they had other breakfast and lunch options as well. Love the location.

Whenever I visit Jamestown, this is pretty much a go-to place. Good coffee and more-ish pastries. Summertime hint. Watch out for the sparrows in the outside dining area. They have no fear.

Duncan MacLeod

A little chaotic when it's busy but the food is amazing and their prices are good. Always a must stop when in Jamestown for weekends.

Tim Haas

Breakfast delight every time guaranteed

Sith Lord

The worst eating experience I’ve ever had. Very expensive cafeteria food, of that’s what you’re into. I hope they go out of business. Terrible customer service. My food was awful and inedible, and they said if I wanted anything else, I’d have to pay for a whole other meal, after they’ve already charged me for food that no one in my party wants, and is going to have to go in the garbage. The woman behind the counter glared rudely every time she looked at me. Aside from that, the ambiance was awful, and I’d rather eat at a dunkin donuts. I can’t believe anyone enjoys this complete garbage. expensive prices for poor people food.

Chad St. Onge

Really cute small town breakfast place. Great food.

Vess Bakalov

With a name like Slice of Heaven one would think there is pizza, but there isn't. There are pretty bad sandwiches. My brie and ham had soggy caramelized onions, and brie that was more like cheese wiz. I also found the experience confusing. On the outside it looks like a restaurant. On the inside, it's a coffee shop / hoagie vibe? I think it just needs to make a call and put a bit of signage - seat yourself or wait to be seated...

AH Richards

Great bakery with healthy breakfast options
