Get there early for the BEST calzones in RI. Jeannette's is a hidden gem on Branch Avenue. The calzones are huge and fresh and inexpensive (one calzone is easily enough for two people). They're open until they sell out, so if your mouth is watering for a spinach pizza (sauce, cheese and pepperoni atop a spinach calzone), call in your order early to make sure you get one. I love this place!

Have been coming here for years. They always have delicious calzones and their personal pizzas have been great too! Today I purchased a spinach, cheese, and black olive calzone and it's wonderful. Show up in the morning if u don't want to wait. If you have a hankering for something specific that they hadn't made that day and you want a few...They sometimes make them special! Cash only and closed Mondays but well worth any wait. Be quick because they always sell out then close up shop!

This place is delicious! Closed on Mondays and whenever else they feel like it lol. They sell out early so I don't recommend you go there, but only because I don't want you to eat all the calzones before I get there! EVERYBODY that walks in is family, whether related or not. The staff get know each customer because if you go there once, you go there forever. Besides the welcoming nature of the staff, my favorite feature is how they show you the food before wrapping it up and exchanging money, so you know it's going to be great wherever you decide to enjoy it. The food is priced inexpensively so don't be cheap, leave a tip :p

Good pizza, spinach pies, and calzones It used to be outstanding, however; they stopped using a lot of olive oil . Consequently, it is more healthy, and less tasty. I would much rather have the unhealthy version.I am trying to get the courage to try to convince Jeanettes to revert to their original recipe. I pray that I am successful.

I have been going there since the early 1980's. Family business that has never deviated from quality Spinach Pie's, Calzones(It would take more than a week to try each one) Pizza Strips and individual Round Pizza to include white Pizza's I make a 5-10 mile detour to stop there. Go before 1:00PM because by 1:30PM they are sold out and they door maybe locked.

Food is very good, one complaint I have is that I placed an order two days prior to pick up and asked if I could pick up at 8:30am and was told no, wouldn't be ready until 9:30am. I thought that was strange as I had placed order days in advance and my order was not a large one.

This place has Amazing food ...id suggest an italian with their homemade vinegar peppers ...everything made from scratch ..get there early because once they sell out of stuff they close and its cash only here ...if you want to get stuff here be sure to show up at 9 or 10 am .. once lunchtime hits there is a line out the door its that good ... definitely go an check this place out i bet you that you won't be disappointed

The pies here are amazing! I ordered the spinach, cheese and olives. I'm a huge fan of spinach pies and these are the best I've ever eaten. Phenomenally fresh, they use fresh mozzarella and cooked to perfection.

Best calzones and personal pizzas In RI. Small store, you can pass it quickly if not paying attention. Very busy, sell out by 2pm, so you want to get there early or order ahead, even small orders. Friendly people, same couple of people each time. You have to try. Prices are good. If you are looking for something specific, just ask. Seems like a nice family owned staple.

The best bakery food hands down! Cant no other bakery compare to their calzones. Chicken parm is phenomenal and spinach deluxe is amazing! Pepperoni and cheese calzone is good but it used to be wayyyyyyyyyy better. Now the pepperoni and cheese calzone has less pepperoni and cheese and and the ends of the calzone are just all dough which sucks because those use to be one of my very favorites. Everyone I know that goes there says the same thing about the pepperoni and cheese. Okay so now why Im giving this place 2 stars. Reason being is THEY ARE NEVER OPEN!!!!! Sucks for people who drive all the way there before work or just in general hoping to get some good food only to see there closed and you cant call because they dont usually awnser the phone. I will say they are very friendly people but damm yous gotta be open more, its buisness, not a hobby. Besides them being closed literally almost all the time and the pepp n cheese calzone ratio off, i would have rated 5 stars.

There is a reason why Jeanette pastry shop has been voted best in Rhode Island year after year after year for their delicious calzones. You won't find any calzones nearby that are as good as Jeanette. Just make sure you get there before or early afternoon, because as soon as they sell out, they closed for the day.
