Stopped in because we really wanted some banana pudding after our late lunch. A quick Yelp search brought us here, and thank God it did! There were about 5 different banana pudding flavors to choose from. The customer service was great and she allowed us to sample which ever flavor we wanted. I ended up getting the original banana pudding and my sister got the strawberry banana pudding. Both tasted delicious! The pudding was firm yet fluffy, the perfect consistency in my opinion. I got the large and my sister was kicking her self for only getting a small. Will definitely be back to try more flavors!

Amazing. I highly recommend the Salted Nana Pudding and the chocolate cupcake. We got there right when they opened, and they already already had lots of fresh, warm, delicious treats. When you walk in, the aroma is incredible. The lady behind the counter was very nice. She helped us choose what to get by samples and recommendations according to what foods we liked and what everyone else likes. My mission was to get back home without eating any, but I 'accidentally' devoured it. I am so glad I came!

Poor customer service. Was not even acknowledged when I walked in (meanwhile others who came in behind me were greeted and addressed promptly) and had to wait about 5 min more as the people in front of me finished their long conversation with the cashier about their previous negative experience (and I was the only other person there). Desserts were ok, maybe it was a little stale tasting/tasted off because it was one of the last few left? Not impressed.

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter and was not happy at all. Super pricey for a small very regular cake. I could get a way better cake for $15-$20 instead of spending $46 for a tiny cake. The cake was not even pretty and was also very dry. You could hardy eat it.

Our plans changed unexpectedly for my Birthday and my husband was not thinking about doing anything special for me. I researched until 4 AM to make my own plans and found The Sweet Life Bakeshop and read the rave reviews. I am all about good baked products and can be very critical. I dialed the number and asked if they happened to have any birthday cakes, Sabrina, the owner, said ordinarily they don't, but it just so happened that they had a vanilla cake with vanilla icing. I explained my situation and handed the phone to my husband. He arranged to pick up the cake immediately (like he had a choice). We had a miserable dinner and I was skeptical that dessert was going to work out. SURPRISE! It was the best part of my day, literally! The husband is still in the dog house, but I'm having day old cake and it is even better than it was yesterday. Bravo Sabrina, can't wait to meet you and try all of your products.

WOW this place has the best: cupcakes, MINI cupcakes (only $11/doz!), and salted caramel banana pudding! The small banana pudding was only $3 (what!) and was still enough for 2. So glad I don't live closer I would be 5x as big. This place is great!

When you find it hard to settle upon just one sweet treat; consider that a good sign! Once Sweet Life opened its doors, I was eager to stop in and treat myself to something yummy. Upon my entry, I was immediately welcomed by the owners/bakers and I asked them what their recommendations were. I was torn between one of their cupcakes and the banana pudding (either classic or strawberry), and at their suggestion, I went with the strawberry banana pudding, because I figured I could always come back and try something new. A great place to stop while strolling down South Street and craving something sweet—you’ll find it here and you won’t regret it!

Went there yesterday evening after hearing the raving reviews of the Banana Pudding. Ended up getting the Salted Caramel flavor- boy oh boy, great taste and super creamy- I kid you not. But in my opinion what not a lot of you have commented on and must be told in here is the amazing pineapple upside down cake- a hidden gem. It was just amazing and hit the spot for my sweet tooth. I reserved the pudding for the next day and it tasted fab but the cake was just next level- with a cup of coffee, man life is good. Have a chance and are around the South Street area a must try. Keep up the good work guys. Be back soon.

I go here way too often because the banana pudding (and everything else) is actually that good. I always find myself resisting the urge to go to Sweet Life. I feel like the word "pudding" does not do justice. Their peanut butter banana pudding is my personal favorite, but it was honestly so hard to come to that consensus since the quality of everything is so great. The staff is always super helpful and friendly, very informative of the different desserts and recipes. You can also order the banana pudding (and other desserts, too, I assume) in bulk for parties or special occasions. Great establishment!

My brother and I were visiting my old stomping grounds when I came across this place on South Steet. I'm very picky about baked goods. This place has top notch options! The sweet potato pie is delectable. Crust was buttery and the filling tasted so fresh and just sweet enough. YUM! The pineapple upside down cake, while a bit dry, didn't disappoint in taste. Keep in mind, I'm picky. They are definitely on my list for return visits! Hoping to try one of their puddings next time.

The Sweet Life Bakeshop in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is Tiny but touts a big punch when it comes to their puddings. It's funny because you don't think of bake shop specializing in puddings but there name has grown around their banana pudding. Sadly I am not a fan of banana pudding. However the gentleman behind the counter recommended that I try there vanilla sundae pudding. Which is vanilla mousse pudding with nuts and a little bit of chocolate and caramel. They're putting czar a little bit more towards a moose than they really are a pudding but no complaints from me. The sundae was delicious I actually ended up eating it on my flight back to LA. I along with all of the people who gave them such a high rating on their pudding would have to Rave about it as well. You should definitely try it when you're in town.

OMG...delicious! We stumbled upon this place in route to another restuarant for dinner, had samples (which were great) and decided to return to buy dessert! The items we had...the flavors were amazing! Being both a dessert lover of all kinds of desserts and also part of my family having history of making southern desserts since I was young, this shop had some favorites of ours (pineapple upside down cake, red velvet cupcakes, sweet potato pie, apple crisp and much more) and some new twists and varied creations. The sweet potato pecan pie was sooo good! As was the apple crisp! We didnt get to buy the strawberry cupcakes, as they were fresh out of the oven, but oh, the wonderful aroma! They were extremely welcoming and friendly, the place is so cute, tidy inside. The sweet aromas waft from the back as soon as you open the door. Several customers, both repeat and new, entered to buy treats while we were there. Ayyy...we'll be back!

The sweet life bake should be named the stink life bakeshop. I’m so disgusted and disappointed at how these people handled the order I placed for my daughter’s 15th birthday. I paid for my cupcake order of $31.90 a week in advance, to my surprise the day I was scheduled to pick it up on 6/14/18 the shop was closed. There was no notification informing me that my order would still be available for pick up. The day I stopped by the shop to get my cupcakes there was a sign on the door stating that the bake shop was closed and that they would reopen next week. These owners left me scrambling to find a last minute supermarket cake to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. That was totally unacceptable and unprofessional. These people don’t know how to run a business. They have no sense of business ethics and customer service skills! I was soooooo upset that I sent a message on instagram via DM and a public post voicing how dissatisfied I was with this whole matter. A few days later, I got a instagram message from the owner stating I would get a full refund. I also got a call from Sabrina, informing me that they could compensate me by either adding sprinkles on my cupcake or issuing me a full refund. These people just don’t get it. Don’t they realized they already ruined my daughter’s birthday celebration. What the hell can a late cupcake order and sprinkles do for me! So I told Sabrina, all I want is my money back!!! Yesterday I received a text message stating that $18.90 would refunded to me. I sent another message on instagram asking what’s the meaning of this and tried calling them but no one answered. Today is 6/24/18 and my money has not been refunded to me. I’m getting very upset and plan on reporting this matter to the better business bureau if these people don’t give me my refund. I’m totally livid. I’m sorry but you guys have lost my business forever. I would never ever in a trillion years support your business again nor would I recommend anyone to support you.

This is the best banana pudding I have ever had!!! I walk by this bakery all the time and decided to pop in today because I needed some chocolate really badly. At ~6pm on a Friday they were sold out of everything. I asked the woman working the register what she would recommend for my chocolate craving and we decided to go with the Sundae pudding. While visiting Philly over the weekend, we ventured specifically to this shop due to its high rating. Pudding, what it's known for, didn't disappoint. It was very rich while not overwhelmingly sweet.
