I cannot put into words how much I love this bakery. Come and taste these pastries for yourself. Some of the best I've ever had in the States. You'll want to move to Regent Square just to make it part of your morning routine.

This is THE BEST BAKERY in all of Pittsburgh. Everything I have had there from the croissants to the macarons have been splendid. The service is always exceptional and the quality of the bake is alike something you will find in high end bakeries in Europe. It is a treasure!

This place is an absolute treasure – one of those spots where you can trust that anything you try will be nothing short of sublime. Try it all! From the soups, to the baguette sandwiches to the croissants, bouchons and macarons... to the wonderful airy sourdough loaves... you cannot go wrong. The staff is efficient and friendly and the owners go above and beyond to ensure your happiness. They even presented my family with a giant nut tart for the holidays, after a mix-up with a pick-up order that had already been happily rectified. If you haven't been yet, don't wait a moment longer!

Amazing baked goods, unfortunately not a lot of seating. If you are looking for a quiet place to meet someone for coffee this might not be the place. Seems like a lot of people come in and get things to go.

Laurie P

Adorable place serving delicious treats and bread.

Kelly Garman

Enter Paris in Pittsburgh - We love everything about this adorable shop! Try the homemade Oreos they are amazing!

I have not tried a thing that I didn't love, even their black coffee just seems to have a little extra something. Personally, I'd start with the chocolate croissant. I forget exactly what it is but the sour cream and something (vanilla?) Coffee cake is lovely. I like to take it home and have a slice with a pat of butter. The workers have always been very friendly with me. Cozy area inside and very pleasant, nearly private seating area.

So happy to have this in the neighborhood. I still like Five Points better, but this place has a slightly different selection. Very good baguettes. And I could eat those madelines all day.

It's a sliver of Europe right here in our burgh.

Some of the best French baked goods I've had since France, period.

Bob DAlessandro

I've tried this bakery multiple times. Since their opening, their menu has expanded like crazy. They not have a full on lunch menu! Everything here is pretty amazing. I highly recommend getting a croissant. They are buttery amazingness. The lunch sandwiches are awesome as well since they make their own bread. Definitely give it a try.

O my smells! It's like I walked into France. The best croissant I have ever had. I have a hard time deciding what I want every time.

Madeleine is an independently owned, small bakery and coffee shop. It is worth winding your way off the main roads to find Madeleine tucked away in a little house in a little square. They serve delicious Madeleines and other small baked goods. They also have baguettes and baguette sandwiches.

Eric Johnson

Could have been a little more friendlier

Kevin McNulty

This is our favorite neighborhood bakery. Always something new to try. They have gotten so popular there is always a line out the door, which is a testament to the quality and authenticity of their baked goods. Great outdoor seating area and le petit Madeleine in the back for kids to play. A hidden gem in Regent Square!

The Madelines and chocolate cookies are really good. The bread is delicious and the goat cheese scone is worth going all by itself.

Awesome place and very good croissant, baguettes, and pastries

Todd Sanders

best madelines I have ever eaten. light and airy with a touch of citrus

Lauren Collister

I love Madeleine so much. The space is so cute and in a lovely little part of the neighborhood. The pastries are out of this world - good luck getting a pain au chocolat but if you do be prepared to be changed forever. No matter when you go they always have something delicious for you. I only wish they had a bit better of coffee on offer, but that's not enough to take my rating down because their pastries are just that amazing.

I ordered a chocolate chip croissant and it was amazing. It was served hot and the croissant was extremely flaky! This was easily the best croissant I have ever had. The store is very cute!

Madeline bakery is an amazing cozy little bakery. The cookies are to die for! The sea salt chocolate chip cookies are fantastic right out of the oven. It's an amazing place to get a treat or some fresh bread, but get here early cause it sells out early! Stop in and see this new local gem

Derek F

Nice little neighborhood place tucked a few blocks off S Braddock. Sandwiches were simple, in a good way. When you have fresh, good quality food, you don't need to add much. Pastries were expensive but well made.

Veronica Mayo

There's something about walking to your local bakery and picking up something fresh in the morning. Madeleine Bakery is one of my all time favorites.. I've never been disappointed!

Josie Fisher

Amazing maple and clove macaron! Like a gingersnap taste with a subtly salted buttercreme filling! Great for first real Fall-weather day.

This little French bakery and bistro has been open less than a month and is proving extremely popular. It has been selling out of its selections daily. On their menu of offerings include sourdough bread, croissants, various cookies, muffins, bouchons (which are to die for!), Seasonal sandwiches, soups and amazing Peruvian coffee which has a chocolatey flavour. It is a very small bakery so there is extremely limited seating; 2 tables which can sit about 4 people max and 2 short standing bars. It is more a place to grab something and go, but I have heard the owners are adding a few high stools for the high tables by the windows. I wanted to also add that the staff are so attentive here that they prepared a special birthday bouchon for me for free when I came in to buy some things today! Shows excellent customer service and another reason to shop local with people who get to know their customers!

Very small and appear to take pride in the small selection of bakery foods that they produce. Coffee is decent and they are pleasant people.

Chris Napolitano

Great pastries, really friendly people. Price seems a little high, but it's totally worth it.

Sarah Chartier

Alex Moore

The best bakery in town. Every time we stop in, there is something new to try. But the classics can't be beat: the fresh-baked sourdough is delicious, the kouign-amann is delectable fresh out of the oven, the strata is simply perfect. This has become a neighborhood institution, and I think it's made the streets nearby come alive with the smells of bread lifting in the air, the inviting tables and chairs in the shade, people (kids, dogs) gathered outside chatting as they wait for opening.

Ash Andrews

Amazing baked treats! Incredible croissants, heavenly sourdough bread, transcendental scones. Tasty coffee in a comfortable space to relax. Very kind people!

Jenna Chung

Dione Marshall

Good coffee liked the savory scone.

Joshua Lynn

Sam Weber

Delicious pastries and sandwiches. One of the cutest and coziest spots in Pittsburgh.

Nick

This bakery rivals and for some items beats out Pittsburgh giants such as la gourmandine. The madeleines are excellent, the croissants are perfect, the sandwiches are excellent the breads are excellent. Thanks google now I’m starving. If you a fan of good baked good or food in general, give this place a try!!!!! If I have one complaint it’s lack of seating, that just means less hipster hanging out on their MacBooks acting like they are doing something

Benjamin Gunter

Cute, cute, cute, cute! Delicious pastries, good bread, and friendly staff. Their macarons are authentic with creative twists! The space is a little small, but that adds to the charm. Highly recommend checking this place out for a cute date and then wandering over to Biddle's Escape down the street if you can't get a seat at Madeleine's.

Tom Keogh

Stephen Soehl

Great bagettes and kind staff.

Kenny Dorsey

Wonderful little bakery nestled back in residential Wilkinsburg. The constant flow of people coming and going, and the small line should be a good indication! WiFi, and indoor and outdoor seating as well. It's a bit expensive, or it would command five stars. Definitely worth a stop.

Dan Bostick

Katie Fitzpatrick

Everything we had was delicious! It's a charming little spot and love their coffee

Megan Adams

Perfect little neighborhood bakery. The baguettes are second only to ones I've had in Paris! The madeleines are delicious and the chocolate chip sea salt cookie was wonderful!
