REVIEWS OF Good 'N Plenty Restaurant IN Pennsylvania

Ben Faber

I ordered the PA Dutch Sampler and the food was delicious. The meal was very reasonable.. There was a small kids playground and goat petting zoo in the back that the kids enjoyed. Definitely worth checking out.

Andrea Machado

By far the best around. I’ve been to all of the other smorgasbords around and nothing compares to their food. Chicken is the best. Food is always fresh. Family style so they bring it out to you, no worrying about other people’s germs. Plenty of food is offered. My favorite place to bring family and friends that visit.

James Lauer

The buffet is very good. Like their chicken, shoo fly pie and noodles. The restaurant side. Is also as good, order fried chicken. The service is better on the buffet side.

Baylee Adams

Worth all 5 stars, food and service was exceptional. Cracker Pudding was SO GOOD!

Avis Wigfall

Great food family style seating and service good way to meet people I enjoyed it

Tammy

Very down to earth! Wonderful time visiting with others, while eating an amazing meal!!!

L Biggs

I did not enjoy the food at all. It was a low budget selection with absolutely no substitutions. The fried chicken was too salty, the roast beef was good, they also served ham loaf. I didn't like how that looked and no one ate it. The mashed potatoes with gravy, corn and peas were good.Home made sliced bread, no rolls. We have eaten at other Good N Plenty restaurants and the food was delicious. This location I would recommend to stay away.

Chad Garrett

All you can eat food and everything is good. Also included a 5 course dessert.

Mike Sayre

Good 'N Plenty is one of those places that everyone should get to experience at least once in their lives. My family visited this week and it just amazed me at how much tasty food kept getting delivered to our table. Even if there is a dish you don't care for, that's OK - there will be an endless supply of other delicious choices to make up for it. Good 'N Plenty is a special place - I highly recommend it.

John Toomey

Was just ok food but plenty of it. All family style with long tables of 12. Full course.

Phyllis Lamb

The food was good, the experience excellent. We had some nice people sitting with us and the conversation just flowed.

Sharilyn Pate

I was in the area and I decided to try here. Never disappointed. Food was okay. Price was affordable.

Sab D.Z.

Fried chicken is delish! Would love it if they offered a platter of it when you're not dining family style.

Andres De Jesus

It was amazing but the reason why rated this establishment 3 stars was. Because My Dad is diabetic and it was time for desert and he asked if there was any sugar free ice cream she said no but then added a little sugar wont hurt i was so mad and i idmedialty left.

Jenny Moore

Wonderful. Experience, . Food was great, staff at tables was awesome. A little pricey but good

This place is fantastic! You can eat family style if you choose, or you can eat at a large table and choose from the menu. It's an old farm house from the 1800's. What a unique place! The food, which is homemade, is absolutely delicious. There's a gift shop upstairs and an award winning bakery downstairs. We only tried the chocolate chip cookies, and they were outstanding! The only downside for us was a couple people who worked there weren't very friendly as far as you'd expect for customer service in a place like this. There were others who worked there though, that were wonderful. We will be back sometime! Homespun, tasty, and one of a kind. You should try it!

F DeCastra

Absolutely outstanding food! My husband and I came back twice in a week to order roast beef, mashed potatoes and string beans from the menu. Everything was fresh from the farm and the roast beef and gravy were fork tender; everything was cooked to perfection! Apple butter was the best we've ever had and the vanilla and chocolate ice cream, made fresh on site, was delicious! Prices were reasonable. If we are ever traveling near the area, we will positively stop again.

P. Robinson

Family style dining. Eating with people you have never met. Hi to the two ladies, originally from Seoul Korea and now living in PA.

R Stunetii

This place has amazing fried chicken and the best buttered noodles ever. Forget the calories - you cannot leave Lancaster PA without this mouthwatering experience. Their bakery is the tops, and reasonably priced. And their shoofly pie is second to none! Good 'N Plenty offers both family style and a la carte dinning.

Lucian Ramnarase

So my parents took me here since me and brother were really little, and anytime we are nearby in Pennsylvania they have wanted to stop in. Food is homemade, super tasty and you will be full and happy leaving this place. The atmosphere is always a delight to sit and eat with others.

Kemar Evans

Taste super good. Service off the charts. Feels like home and the food taste muah

Isetta Coakley

Food was great. Desserts need to be better.

jojoyful1

Food was wonderful! The roast beef melts in your mouth. Fried chicken was some of the best I've ever eaten. You have to try the cracker pudding! It looks awful and I almost didn't taste it. So glad I did, it was my favorite dessert!! Enjoyed the family style table seating, met some nice people. A must do!

BEN CASTERLINE

Amazing have not been there for years but it sure tastes the same. Great place

Evelyn Gorog

Food great, and service staff attentive.

Susan Freaney

It was so much fun to try each food served. Some didn't sound so good, but were actually very, very tasty. My family and I all agreed that we truly enjoyed this place and are so glad that we decided on Good 'n Plenty

Racheal Maurice

It was very weird. But the food and staff were wonderful. They brought plate after plate of food to the table that was essentially shared amongst the table of strangers, that was the weird part. But fun and good overall.

Angela Miller

Amazing food. Absolutely love the butter noodles.

Joshua Lindner

It was our first time here, and a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed how they don't try to fill you up on lettuce or bread or any other nonsense before the family style meal, consisting of meat and potatoes. Better than a buffet because they bring the meal to you.

Kristina Clark

I have been here several times and it has always been great!

Patrick McGrath

The food was good but very limited choices also they sat more then 12 people per row and you had to walt for a dish to hopefully be sent down to your side and in our case it didn't multiple times. The waitress does nothing they don't even hand out plates. They are nice people and I understand the method that they use with grouping us together but like I said waiting for 1 plate to be passed all the way around and then you felt compelled to eat less because you didn't want it to run out. Plus it was 25 a head I would not recommend this to most people.

Nikki Hill

Great choice for large Great family style food. Good variety, the pickled coleslaw is my favorite! Yummy delicious desserts, fresh homemade bread. They even have apple butter.

Edward Gorham

Food is real good there an friendly atmosphere.

Charlie Costello

Massive family style country buffet. The fried chicken is excellent! Always a great time hitting the Good 'N Plenty with family members. The homemade ice cream was amazing. Absolutely the spot to hit if you in the Lancaster area.

D V

Food was ok but the restaurant has become a tourist trap, riding on years of good reviews. If you want better, local food, go someplace else.

Cynthia Gonzalez

BEST EVER WILL BE BACK, BREAKING BREAD WITH COMPLETE STRANGERS, LAUGHTER, GREAT FOOD, BEST TIME AT DINNER I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!!!! YOU MUST GO, EAT TILL YOU WOBBLE, FOOD WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Geri Arrington

Really enjoyed our visit. Excellent food, and great hospitality. My family really liked it.

Vickie Baker

Came on a bus tour. The food and service were exceptional. The gift shop had a lot to pick from and clerks were very courteous.

Leticia Cardenas

Years ago was much better.. this time tge deserts was not good at all.

Jean Moore

What a wonderful place to eat or take out even with the Good & Plenty “2go” menu! In the heart of Amish Country, full of charm and food is amazing. A+

Danny Virgint

Our server went out of her way to give us good suggestions, and the food was out of this world. We'll definitely go back!

Kristine Caton

They do not serve breakfast so dont even try! Good food, good service and a wonderful gift shop where we found a few things to bring back home

Allen Keller

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the food my mom cooked during my boyhood. The dining was family style, which we didn't mind at all. There were homemade fried chicken, roast beef, buttered noodles, green beans, real mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, shew fly pie, strawberry pie, homemade chocolate ice cream and homemade vanilla ice cream. There were many other items, but I can't remember what. The service was wonderful. If we ran out of an item, the waitress was very quick to get refilled bowls. The restaurant was very clean; the restroom was also. There is also a very nice gift shop located inside the restaurant. When I return to Lancaster County. Pennsylvania, I will return to this restaurant. Thanks for a delicious meal and for the superb service.

some random weird cookie

The food was great! The service was good. It's a really cool experience

Ida Bailey-Jones

First time back in years. Still didn't disappoint. Worth the hrs long drive.

Alesia Grider

Very nice. The food was excellent. My boyfriend and I chose the communal style dinner, where you are seated at a big table and share a meal with people you don't know. Took me out of my comfort zone. But that was a good thing

Abigail Tan Ming Li

I absolutely loved the experience!! All you can eat family style where you can talk to strangers at the table. The food was amazing and wonderful service.

M. B.

The main courses were varied and delicious. The desserts could be improved upon, though. The service was pleasant and very efficient. There's no skimping on refilling the platters and bowls of food or the pitchers of drinks.

Michael W

Good food, good portions, good service. There are two doors.... Closest to the road brings you to the hostess desk. You can eat "family" Style or traditional dining.... We chose traditional. Sitting in the "farm House" Dining room it felt like we were visiting Aunt Broom Hilda's house for Thanksgiving... The room is a converted living room that most likely has lead paint on what looks like 80 year old window moldings. So as long as you don't plan on eating paint chips, it's a good place to stop. If by chance you have one of those kids that can't sit still for 20 minutes or you can't control, go to McDonald's and save this place for the people who can parent the children in society. Mind you, we did not experience any mis behaved kids but there's a sign that says in effect, kids should stay seated with their families.

gail herring

Delicious and fresh. Price reasonable

Lucy Santiago

I have been so many times since 1995. Food is always as the name says"Good'N Plenty"

Lindsey Hallsten

Excellent food, friendly service, family style meal, great experience

Phil McCoy

G& P is a timeless awesome experience. Went there a a long time ago with my parents and went back recently with my family and they were both amazing experiences. Love it. You won't be disappointed!

Dave Hill

Bring your appetite and enjoy all the family-style served fare.

Rachel Peery

Great service, great food. Neat eating g at a table with others and talking to them.

Kim Seen

Love this place. We take a day trip from Maryland just to go for a nice family style dinner. Food and always great!

Sandi Strohman

The good work as advertised as homemade but didn't taste it . We were given bread, whipped butter and apple butter in open containers. It was a large amount of the butters and we asked if we could take the rest home. The waitress said no that we could buy some in their shop. What were they going to do with the cup of each that was left? Reuse it for the next table? Eewwwww!

Sarah S

This is our usual stop when we visit the Lancaster area. The food is no-frills, country cooking. We only do menu dining, and the portions are just right. It's also usually less busy than the other option of family-style seating and eating. The chicken pot pie is delicious!

Lab Beck

The food was good but they could certainly be able to lower the price ($25 per person) if they cut back on the waste. There was no reason to bring an entire loaf of bread, 10 pieces of chicken, a full plate of roast beef, a full plate of sausage as well as corn, potatoes, noodles and other sides to a table of 3.

Cindy Wilson

We first visited Good 'N Plenty years ago on our honeymoon. It's always fun to meet new people from all over the country. Food is always delicious and the service is friendly and helpful.

Paul Parker

Nice place to EAt friendly environment

John Sharpe

Very unimpressed, wound up walking out. The wait staff and kitchen staff were screaming at each other and cursing. We had a 4 and 6 year old out to a nice family dinner on our vacation. I don't need my kids hearing "I'll f#$@&*! cut you" clear as day while we are waiting for their chocolate milk. That's a conversation I now have to have with my 4 year old to explain what was happening and why someone would say that to another person. It is a shame as we were really excited to try something new and always make an effort to eat at local family owned venues while on vacation. Especially disappointed as this place was so highly reviewed and regarded as "family oriented." Wish they employed higher caliber people who had consideration for those around them, especially guests. Overall bad experience.

Stuart Hurlburt

If you go to Lancaster you must stop at the good n plenty restaurant. The food is served family style great food if you leave hungry it is your fault they also make room for little kids great place you must stop

M Breen

Good food, not great. Ok service, not good. The price is quite overpriced. The food was mediocre, I think going to a diner would’ve been a similar experience. The service was slow, waited a while for food to come out.

Diane Lind

Autumn was a very good server. The food (Sample plate and the open faced roast beef) was great. Lots of food.

Rachelle Brown

Best choice around! We had a friend reccomend this place as shes been coming here for over 30 years. She was not wrong!!! This was plenty to feed our family of 14. Will never forget how amazing the food was. I'm a chef and that was the best melt in your mouth fried chicken I've ever had!

Ted Peterkin

Good restaurant, plenty of food and good people. The staff was excellent, very professional and kept our table filled with drinks and food. It is a different type of buffet where you sit in your seat and your server insures that the food for your group does not run out. The children were just as pleased and full of food as the adults were. I recommend you try this place on for size.

Ron McKay

Great selection and love the table service concept, sitting with strangers and by end of dinner we are friends.

Linda Barr

Love the food and the friendly service. And now they have cherry pie which is so delicious.

robert RobertD

I first visited this place in the early 70s and I will try to remember this place as it was. My last visit was very disappointing.

Roger Castle

The family style dining is a large part of the charm of this place. It gives you a chance to meet people from different parts of the country, and maybe the world. Great food and great experience.

M Russo

My family has been coming here since the 80s. Great food and warm service from the staff. Can get busy during peak seasons and weekends but well worth the wait. You'll be welcome to the smell of friend chicken as you park your car, assuring you this was the right choice lunch or dinner.

Margaret Padgett

An awesome place to have great Amish food! A great place to shop for Amish souvenirs. A bakery to take home some goodies. A pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

Chip Froehlich

Food was just wonderful and came out in a timely fashion. We were a large group and although we were finished eating we enjoyed conversation well after they're posted closing time, and we were never made it to feel rushed. My wife and I were the only local residents at the table, and our server was charming in a local sort of way that I just know those dining with us appreciated and enjoyed.

Chad Rot

Deliciuos food. It is clear everything was prepared recently and with high quality ingredients. No wait time, extremely friendly and quick service. Atmosphere was lovely. I love the concept of sitting in thr same long table with friends, family and friendly strangers. I'm not a fan of mashed potatoes but the one they serve here was irresistable. The server said it was from real potatoes, well that was clear, it could not be otherwise. Also this was the first time I came across Chow Chow relish. It was excellent! Highly recommended place - I will definately return.

Aiden Wright

The food is really great. The roast beef was really good. The whole family loved it. I will come back

William Boles

I enjoyed the food, there was plenty of hot and good. The service was excellent you couldn't have asked for better service.

Jack Tyniec

Great food in a family style setting.

Ernest Dermid

Service was good but that had to be the worst meatloaf ever. I'm pretty sure it was soybean and not real meat. Terrible .Chicken was good though.

Kimberly Mercer

Delicious food and it kept coming. The bread is delicious. The mashed potatoes were the best.

Charlotte D.

A favorite place to dine. Always a great meal!

Nancy Nieves

Good food. Quiet and amazing people

LaDonna Sams

Great food & a lot of it just pricey.

Jo Anne Curran

Come hungry. Come friendly. Enjoy the food and people who dine with you. Food is incredible. Buttered noodles, mashed potatoes, corn, ham, meatloaf, ham, and fried chicken. And then desserts!: We stop here everytime we come through the area.

Dan Andrews

Food is always good and hot! Eat as much as you want while eating at a large table with your group and others. Family style.

Julia Carey

family style with more than enough authentic Pa. Dutch/Amish food

Maria Bowden

Good food at a fair price. Decent service. We liked everything we got except for the meatloaf. It was a little different.

Debbie Lambdin

Excellent Pennsylvania Dutch food! Delicious mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, fried chicken, ham, corn, perfect pepper cabbage, etc. Then there are the many dessert choices! Fantastic food and service! It is also fun to sit and talk to the other people at your long table. It makes for a homey and enjoyable experience!

John Kellum

Food was good but not enough vegetables. Service was okay. Too expensive.

Anthony Bono

Not the way I am use to eating but it was interesting and good food. It is family style and you eat with people that you don't know so if you don't mind eating with strangers then go for it.

Andrew Biss

They had a nice menu. We went there for the diner sit in portion and I got the gluten free turkey with mashed potatoes and it was amazing. I recommend getting the cranberry peach sauce with it!

Maria Eugeni Obrien

Love this place. The fry chicken is the best. Good variety of good dishes served and the ambiance is great.

Jennifer Sutherland

Food is just ok. Waitress Angie was nice but young cashier not so much. Shoofly pie is the best thing we got.

Emma Bell

Service was outstanding; food was good and plentiful

Eric Makanoff

I AM SOOOOO FULL

Nada Manning

Excellent service, very good food.

Caleb Willis

Pleasant experience. Food was good but not immensely high quality which wasn't necessarily a detractor. Had a nice shopping experience afterwords in their gift shop.

Kc Cheyne

Great food. Great prices. Fantastic apple butter.

Drew Donaldson

I've probably eaten here 50+ times in the last 30 years. Always delicious food and always pleasant staff. Go family style and experience the best meal of your life.

Marc L

Been going to this restaurant for years and always ate there. Used to love it but the last time I ate there I ordered take out and became a vegetarian the next day. I just can't see eating animals anymore. If you can then this is the place for you.

Paula Gilbert

Food was good

Chip B.

It's been 22 years since our last visit, and, after traveling around the country (and world) this place is still very good! We won't wait another 22.

Gerard Blum

Very clean restaurant . Food was very good. A very nice place to stop for a good meal. Gift shop was also unique and reasonably priced .

Lexacocca

The food here was great! Excellent fried chicken and the brown buttered noodles was wonderful too. Our server Autumn was very friendly as well.

Helen James

Great food, but felt a little rush when it was slow in their. If you can eat alot go best place if not too much money for it. Parking is easy.

Bharat Sridhar

Excellent Amish restaurant. Loved the communal eating aspect where you share the table with unknown people.

Heidi Bruce

Great food and good service!

TheRiggioFamily

Great food great prices and great atmosphere

Sheila Gesell

Food is great everything is clean and it was busy so you know it's good we where serve family style

Shauna Smitt

Wonderful home-cooked food and service.

Dave Lombardi

Been coming here with my Family for 50 years! Always consistent. Never disappointed. You will never leave hungry. Brown butter noodles, fresh baked bread, Apple butter and amazing fried chicken, roast beef and ham. Can't go wrong. Go hungry because you want to enjoy everything they offer!

Rich Croy

I stopped today around noon and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food was excellent. My waitress Kim was so extra nice and was so sweet that it made my visit even more enjoyable. I have been there numerous times before but today just seemed most enjoyable. I will definitely be a return customer and I highly recommend that you go there if you are looking for a nice dinner. PS. Good 'N Plenty offers a free meal if it's the day before, day of, or day after of your birthday. Enjoy.

Sheree Stampfel

The menu was horrible.....mushed-up ham loaf, saltine cracker pudding, instant mashed potatoes, canned veggies (only 2: corn and peas, so with the mashed potatoes, their hot veggies are all starchy), only white sliced bread offered. Fried chicken was tasty, but no roasted chicken available. Roast beef was dry. Gravy was from a can. Seating is family style so there is NO privacy....and the tables are too crowded with chairs. My elbow was actually touching the lady beside me. Very uncomfortable setting. And the price for 3 seniors was almost $90.00. There are also signs all over the dining tables "advising" at least an 18% tip....really, right on the table beside the condiments. Also, one cup of coffee only. No alcohol, soda.....lemonade, unsweetened iced tea and water were served in pitchers. The value-cost ratio is awful. Then, their gift shop.....items found at Hobby Lobby costing $19.99 were $70.00 at this resturant. I cannot say enough negative about Good and Plenty....should be named Bad and Skimpy.

Thomas Santomartino

PA Dutch traditional foods either family style or you can eat in their restaurant off a menu. The food is very good.

Brett Branscum

I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was quite dry... the side dishes were not remarkable... I expected more variety in the desert offerings... Overall, the experience was like a diner set in an old farmhouse.

kmcclintock

So many great choices for food, you can't go wrong :) The apple butter, fried chicken, and desserts are all amazing, just to name a few. Any time my family and I are passing through, we usually make a point to stop by, especially if we are really hungry. You will walk away pleasantly stuffed almost as if you are leaving your grandma's place after a weekend visit. The restaurant's name couldn't be anymore perfect!

Donald Jewell

Great food and a nice old fashioned family meal you get to meet some really nice people while their

Alaina De Rosa

This place was great! The last time I was in Lancaster County I was a kid and this is definitely a must when you’re in town. Maybe the best fried chicken I have ever had.

Alan Atwell

Best fresh and unprocessed food I've ever enjoyed.

T. Mai Bui

Everyone is super friendly and the food is delicious. You must try the fried chicken, buttered noodles, and if they have it, the Dutch style turkey pot pie. Don't forget to leave room for dessert especially the home made ice cream.

Albert Romano

People should know that this place has great food and great service ... And for dessert you should have the famous shoo fly pie... Yummy

Dorena Kearney

Just as I remembered! Haven't been in years, still has that country feeling and flare with a sense of nostalgia. Food is still good with large portions.

MrsSomebody

Great food, great prices, very nice atmosphere. Staff is helpful and very friendly. A definite do again

Shirley Scott

The food was delicious along with Great service.

Genice Gialanella- Cassidy

This is family style so you sit at a long table with other people and pass around the food. The food was delicious! Brown butter noodles were amazing as well as the chicken. They had a kind of meatloaf which was also very good. Ive been here a few times and the food is always out of this world. The service is great, lots of friendly servers and people. We have gone during the off season and didn't have to wait much but during the summer and fall the wait can be a bit. Not alot but maybe like half an hour. Its so worth it though.

Brenda W

Great food good service and get to meet new people. I met people from Maryland, New Yor and Spain.

Donald Bryan

The name says it all the food is good and there's plenty of it. We stop here whenever we're in the area. I've never done the buffet side. The menu service is a good price, the food is amazing and you can't leave hungry. The fresh bread with apple butter or fresh butter is a great starter. I almost always get the pot roast with mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn nuggets. I know I should branch out but why mess with perfection? We've tried plenty of deserts and they're all good also. Its just hard to save room for them. We love this place and will be back whenever we can.

Jen M

Food was excellent! Never been before, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go back. Atmosphere is rustic and country. My dad and I ate in the dinning room off of their menu and the food was excellent. The brown butter noodles are a definite must try!! I can see where during their busy times it may be a little loud and crowded, but still worth it.

Angel C

Love this restaurant/buffet, home cooked food, unlimited but can barely ever make it to dessert. But if I do, it is so good to have, I always leave feeling full to the brim and wont eat until the next day sometimes. Lol, just eat in moderation is the key, otherwise you will never get to dessert like I do. Lol.

Mary Jane Person

Great smogasboard . Met people from New Jersey, Colorado, and California. Enjoyed the meal with them.

Carmen Rodriguez

Super cool, super DELICIOUS!!! Wait did I mentioned DELICIOUS!! Yes well it's a must go and check it out for your self. Super clean and family friendly. Cant tell you one thing in specific because everything was just so,, amazingly GOOD and TASTY CANT WAIT to go back.

Jeff Cox

We were traveling in the area and drove by the place, it looked very nice!! We turned around and went in and it was very nice place, had a bakery, a store and a dining room, found that it is family style dinning, with a selected menu, (not sure what they selected) all you can eat for $24.95 pp. My issue is with only 2 of us we would sit with many others we do not know putting their hands on, around, or near the food I'm gonna eat... no no no no, thank you. But we did go to the bakery and get some baked goods, and they were very good. So this rating could be low because we did not eat the food.

David Roszak

Great food for the area. The all you can eat family dining option seemed expensive at $25/adult, so we opted for the order off the menu section that had great entree options for around $10. The vegetable sides were all good with some unique options like chow chow. Make sure to leave room for their delicious homemade pies!

Przemek Nowakowski

Very nice family oriented restaurant. Homemade Dutch country classics like meatloaf, shoofly pie and blackened pasta. Eat as much as you like. Good service. Souvenir shop and bakery on site. Big parking. Don't miss it!

Suzy HD3

Truly family style. So, when a plate goes by you, better grab some food. Although there is plenty of food to go around you may have to wait until the next pass. Fun place to eat.

Mary Donoghue

Good food, nice place, amusing waitress, ok price.

Christine Donlon

This was our first time having a regular dining experience and we are so glad we did! The food on tge menu is the same as the smorgasbord but the experience is a traditional restaurant so it is more private. You don't get the all you can eat, but the selection is really nice and prices are excellent for the portions you get. One of the best amish style restaurants in the area!

Rick Kopp

Fast service, Good comfort food. The beef and chicken were very good. The shoefly pie and cherry pie were awesome.

Kyle Zapirain

Very nice family oriented restaurant. You and your family are placed at a huge table (usually you'll have another family dining with you at same table). Great food. Great service. Amazing business. Must try

Michael Sakelarides

We have been going to Good'n Plenty for many, many years and really loved it. However our last visit was disappointing, the fried chicken wasn't properly cooked and the seasoning tasted like chicken bullion. The bread was dry. The service was very good but the meal was not what we had come to expect of Good'n Plenty.

Tracy Smith

My favorite Lancaster County buffet. The food is much better here than smorgasbords in the area and still all you can eat. We will be back.

Carmela Hobley

My only regret is that I live in California. I have been to Good in Plenty at least a half dozen times during some classes I took for work back east. I prefer sitting at the long tables meeting new people from all over the country. The food is beyond delicious. I think I have tried everything on the menu. I remember the mash potatoes were to die for. I hope I make it back to visit this wonderful restaurant. I remember all the staff being so friendly. Bless you all.

Cesar Camacho

Great "family style" sit down place for breakfast or lunch while in Lancaster PA. The Apple butter and whipped butter are both amazing! The meal doesn't start until the entire table is seated (around 20 people) and then you "share" the lemonade or regular (un sweetened) ice tea but there's bread (from the bakery below) to get you started. The fried chicken and the mashed potatoes were my favorite! Not a big fan of the saltine pudding but others loved it. Buttered noodles were also a good treat. Dessert is a variety of pies and ice cream Will definitely be making a stop next time we're in Lancaster.

Shantel Rose

I've been to Good 'N Plenty a few times and I've always enjoyed the food and the people sitting at our table. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. Always our go to after a show at Sight and Sound.

Robert Serych

Awesome food from the homemade bread to the ice cream. I will touch on the meatloaf and fried chicken in between. The only complaint is the wasted food that is returned. The remaining food on the table should be allowed to be divided between the guests at the table. Lot of uneaten food. Sinful to dispose!

Mayra Martin

Delicious, fresh, homemade, homestyle-Dutch family style service. You are waited on like Royalty! WE LOVED IT! FULL COURSE MEALS +DRINKS

High Gaming

This is the best food in Lancaster. If your on a roadtrip, eat here. You will for sure enjoy their bread, for kids, also try their chicken nuggets. This is honestly the best food I had in a while, and you too will like it

Tracy Cossabone

The food was out of this world! Amazing fried chicken, ham and chicken pot pie with sweet corn, mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was amazing! Also sampling of 5 different desserts including shoofly pie, cheesecake and ice cream. Already planning my next visit.

I never felt so sick, but in the best way possible, because I ate way too much. Ate so much delicious food. When I got up, I need to go back to the hotel to rest from the big meal we had. Roast, sausage, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, brown butter noodles.......then 5 different plates of desserts! Even the harvest beets (not a big beet fan) were so amazing! If you are ever down in the Lancaster PA area, I would definitely recommend coming to Good N' Plenty Restaurant. My suggestion though would be don't eat that whole day before you go. You wouldn't want to get full too fast and not get to taste everything that they have to offer!!

This place is fantastic! All homemade food and its delicious. You can eat family style if you'd like or you can eat at a large table and choose from the menu. It's an old farm house from the 1800's so it's quite a unique place! Staff is fabulous.

We came from 3 hrs away to have the fried chicken. It is absolutely delicious. Family friendly atmosphere and food

Food was tasty. Not sure about the meatloaf that day. Large sections for buses. Table service offered for smaller. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy were all good. Truly organic tastes. Most is handmade down to the whipped butter and bread. Gift shop with items made locally. Baked goods made on site. Try the snickerdoodles. Just saying

We left Hershey Park and took a 35 minute drive so I could relive one of my favorite memories from my family vacations to Lancaster when I was a kid--family style dining in the heart of Amish Country. Restaurant was packed, but I was surprised to find out it would only be a 20 minute wait for 6 of us. My kids were NOT happy to wait, and complained the whole time, until we were seated and started to eat, and eat, and eat! The food was amazing and never ending--definitely go hungry! Wait staff was super friendly and extremely attentive. This was the last night of a 10 day road trip along the east coast, and without a doubt the best meal we had. Worth the drive and the wait! Even my harshest critic, our 10 year old, loved it. Mid-meal he even said, "Oh, we are coming here again!".

I'd probably say 4.5 stars but rounding up. The staff was super friendly and the food was great - really like homemade comfort food. I'd probably take the half star off just for the old decor, but it still did feel cozy. There's a buffet and a separate table service area. We opted for the table service and our server was attentive and friendly and made it well worth the trip.

My first impression of this place was that in stinks, then I get in and they tell us about the tea and lemonade and right when I was about to pour some lemonade I see that my cup wasn’t clean my other friends said there’s weren’t clean either so I had to ask for a plastic cup when I derby to write a review on the website I gave them 2 stars and they told me I was unable to do so then I wanted to test a theory so I gave it a 5 star rating and “boom” it works so now I am going back and editing my last response to 1 star, also there were bugs in the walls P.s I tried to give it a review with 1 star and that did not work that’s the only reason I’m giving it a 3 now I just wanted you to know my experience

I had an awesome time. The food was great and our waitress Lindsay, did an excellent job. This was not my first visit and God willing will not be my last. I'm from Philadelphia
