Okay, I'm a Punxsy local for 9yrs, originally from Southern California. Punxsy has been in need of a place like this! Free WiFi. Quiet and sleek environment. AMAZING coffee products and baked goods! I had the caramel frappe and a cookies and cream scone. We also had their wraps (2 tuna 1 chicken salad) they are the perfect lunch portion and great flavor! I am making this place a regular stop. EVERYBODY that asks me where to go for lunch in Punxsy will be coming to Ginger Snapped! While I was here I overheard another customer saying their drink was the greatest thing they have every had!

I was excited to try this place after reading reviews and seeing it was rated top coffee shop in Punxsy. Unfortunately I was disappointed! I got an iced caramel macchiato. Tasted like caramel flavored milk..I am an espresso enthusiest. And this did not meet my expectations at all! And for the price and size of the drink I really expected better

So-so... :( pure service (we waited 10 minutes for coffee and 5 more minutes for sandwiches, which we were apparently supposed to pick up piece by piece from counter despite 20% tips left in advance); cappuccino tasted like instant coffee, sandwiches overpriced for their quality, ginger cookie was, let’s say, not very fresh. My wife still liked the place so the average between my and her opinions is 3/5.

What a gem! We’re in town for Groundhog Day weekend 2018, and decided to stop by at a suggestion from the Punxy Visitor’s Guide Book. SO glad we did! They were hosting a small vendor show, including a nearby local winery (lemme tell ya... the wine tasting before coffee was genius). Ginger Snapped Bakery had a charming, lovely pastry case. I wish my stomach was bigger- everything looked beautiful and incredibly tasty! I chose a stroopwaffle with molasses- I’ve never had home-made stroopwaffles before, and this was truly divine! Buttery, crunchy, sweet, and the just-perfect when dipped in coffee. Yum! Beverage wise, I also wish I had more stomach space. So many delicious options on the menu! We played it seasonal and choose the Groundhog Mocha- a mocha with caramel. So tasty, and made with real chocolate. Other things that stood out for me- the white-chocolate strawberry mocha and tea selection. Small note on other Yelp reviews I’ve read, and the general business. It’s no surprise that Groundhog Day weekend is busy, busy, busy for the town of Punxy. The town of 5,000 grows to 40,000- so yeah, you will likely have to wait and be delayed a little. Be nice, be kind, be understanding... the town staff is working hard, and as a visitor, I truly appreciate what you guys do to make out-of-owners feel welcome. (Seeing Punxsutawney Phil has been on my buck list for over a decade now, and I am so pleased with all the people I’ve interacted with in this town). I’m in Punxy for two more mornings, and you can bet I’ll be back here! Thanks so much, Ginger Snapped. Your staff was phenomenal!!! Can’t say enough good things. :-D

Delicious coffee at the Ginger Snapped Cafe in Punxsutawney. Seriously, the only time I've ever liked mocha in my coffee. Darcy loved her scone, even if she wouldn't let me get her picture. Astrid loved her iced latte. Give it a shot if you're in the area. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and trendy. There's actual artwork hanging and a lot of it is for sale. 'Great time.

Today I decided to get coffee for the girls in our office as a little morale boost. When I went around the office to get orders I got two "surprise me" requests. Well, I called in about a half hour ahead of time and hesitantly placed my order, complete with "And two surprise drinks." The staff took it as a personal challenge to provide us with their personal favorites and they were a huge hit! I came in and they had the drinks all ready and our surprise drinks carefully labeled. We all had a good laugh and when I made it back to work everybody was so happy with their drinks. If you're ever feeling adventurous, I recommend giving the baristas at this cafe free reign!

The scones are out of this world, I've never had a Ginger Cookie quite like the one they make, and the coffee is ridiculously good. Ginger Snapped is owned by some truly great people, and their staff is caring and friendly. I'll definitely be visiting Ginger snapped every time I'm in Punxy!

We stopped at Ginger Snapped Bakery & Cafe in Punxsutawney, Pa for coffee and pastries ..... The pleasure was all ours! The cookies and brownies are huge and tasted every bit as good as they looked .... so good that we drove back (30 miles) the next day to take a friend and get more cookies! They also have sandwiches, soup, paninis and the best coffee and full line of espresso beverages that I've found in the area. It's worth the trip.

I was very impressed when I walked into this establishment. I've traveled all over and been to a lot of little cafes and this one rates right up there with the best of them. Punxsutawney needed something like this. The atmosphere is comfortable, it's laid out real nice and the bakery item's are to die for! Also, the lady at the counter was very helpful giving me suggestions when I came in and wasn't sure what I wanted. Lol I hope this business sticks around. :-)
