The cupcakes were really good. Each was like a fancy cake in its own. The employee was nice overall. My only qualm is that the cupcake is certainly expensive for what could be had elsewhere, but the quality was certainly not a let down. It's definitely a place I look forward to trying out again to see if it's one of my go to places for special occasions.

the cupcakes were delicious and moist but I would pass on the sweet potatoe pies because the crust needs some work the filing was good tho... a gram cracker crust would make it ..only gave 4 stars because of the crust and when I went they didn't have Pina colada cake like they advertised...otherwise it's worth the trip

I drove to Philly just for a cupcake. I heard about Cupcakeology via the Steve Harvey radio show a few months ago. Cupcakes have become a favorite dessert of mine. I spoke with one of the owners. Since I was off from work, I tried an adult cupcake first, the Peach Ciroc cupcake. It was so tasty. It's hard to explain, but not overpowering, it was just right. It was so good, I drove back for more after going to downtown Philly. The next day it was time to try the Me-mom's Sweet Potato cup pie time. It was simply smooth and creamy. It had the right balance of sweetness and texture. Later, I had the Oreo cupcake. Now, I wouldn't smack my momma, but I'm glad she wasn't close by because that cupcake ROCKED. Two words: Smooth and Good. After that, I tried the Blueberry cupcake. Now that cupcake was kinda sneaky, but pleasantly pleasing and moist. When I found a blueberry, I was excited. These cupcakes are good. I have one more to go. The last one is another Peach Ciroc. I'm saving that for tomorrow. Dawg, I want more. I'm glad they ship nationwide. I will include Cupcakeology into my routine some kind of way. The two-hour drive was worth it. I'd do it again.

Omg, I too had that problem with them. I got a birthday cake from there and the inside of the cake was wet and doughy. I went to the store with the cake to let them know I was very dissatisfied and Jennifer was very rude. Not only did she disregard my complaint but she insulted me by saying that if I bought fry chicken from someone else and I didn't like the taste they wouldn't give my money back because she would be out of business. I have been a vegan for the past 16 yrs and her comments were derogatory( assuming all black people eat fry chicken) Cupcakeology do not live up to the image they portrayed on their website and Jennifer Morris had very poor customer service. Good thing I let all my friends and followers know about my awful experience with Ms Jennifer Morris on social media. Her bad attitude made everything seems distasteful!

My fiance and I went to check them out and we did a little taste testing. I must say the cupcakes are delicious and true to their individual names lol. My mother in law loves the Chocolate Henny cup cake, and she doesn't really eat chocolate. They smell SOOOOO good too. The staff are professional and friendly. They deserve to be patronized.

This place has RUINED my palate...I no longer enjoy grocery store baked goods. The cupcakes and cookies here are the best I have ever tasted. Plain Jen cupcakes are my favorite, but I love trying the new flavors and appreciate the creativity and ingenuity it takes to produce fresh and interesting flavors. The quality is consistent and the cupcakes are out-of-this-world, pick-me-up-after-a-rough-day DELICIOUS!!!

The cake tasted like it was not finished. We purchased this cake for a birthday last weekend and everyone at the party complained that it tasted like it was not finished. Some people said it tasted salty and others said it tasted “doughy.” No one even finished it. I understand that mistakes happen but the manager completely dismissed that a mistake could have happened. She said that they are still using the same batter and it could have been from the rum. I am not a satisfied consumer. A $40 dollar cake was purchased and the manager offered to give a 6 inch cake instead. When I called over the phone to voice that I was not satisfied, the manager, Jennifer said they would not continue the conversation and hung up. In my opinion, the same cake for the same price could have been remade for the inconvenience.

If I could I would give them a zero . My mother and I went to Cupcakeology Christmas eve and I spent $39 and my mother spent $15 and we were very disappointed ! Let me say I have been here several times and even bought my husband a birthday cake and never had an issue, everything was always good . Now I ordered several cupcakes and cheese cakes which were very good . Now here is were my problem is my mother and I both got the Me Mom's Sweet Potato Cup pies and they were disgusting ! They didn't taste fresh at all, it had no flavor , and dry . I was so angry I had wasted my money !! They were inedible I threw them in the trash! My mother tasted hers and she said hers weren't good either but they tasted different then mine. Every time I go to cupcakeology I never leave without these pies they are my favorite so I know what they taste like !. Never again I feel like they new what kind of product they were selling and they got over on people . I will not be returning and everyone I told about them I will spread the word to be aware!!!

Every cupcake I've gotten from here is the best. They are always freash and moist. My mothers retirement cake was everthing, and a few weeks later my son requested and received the best tasting birthday cake he's ever had, all in his favorit color. It's the best EVER!!! I ordered a strawberry shortcake. The cake was beautiful on the outside! I was so excited to cut into it. The whipped icing was delicious! However, there was not enough strawberry filling and the pound cake was extremely extremely dry! I am very disappointed considering how good the reviews are.

Cupcakeology should stick to cupcakes period! Bought my wife a pineapple ciroc rum birthday cake and it was terrible. I'm from the Caribbean and i know rum cake and coconuts cupcakeology's was far from it. There form of customer service was offering me a six inche pound cake (such a rip off) in lieu of my purchase. When I took that home and tasted it, it too was also terrible. I guess that explains why the manager Jennifer Morris was so nasty and defensive. Her cakes are awful! My experience with her was nothing like the older lady that helped before my purchase. Never Again!
