Service was good. Good coffee. Scones were ok. Brownies were underdone and made my daughter queasy. The quiche was so so. Would stop for coffee again, not the baked goods though.

Tere and her gang just made a gorgeous cake for my parent's 50th Anniversary. We were in town for the week and I called her to order well in advance. She made sure to include all their favorite flavors and the most amazing berry mousse filling! Everyone raved about the taste and design of the cake. This local bakery is awesome! ♥️

OMG!!! Awesome place. I turned around after I saw this place driving home. Glad I did. Owners are wonderful. Got my goodies, took one bite of the Granola bar and my mouth melted. Got right out of the car and went and purchased a 2nd one. I ate just under half of one and I was getting full. Worth the purchase if your not Allergic to nuts. Girlfriend loved the Scones. Very fresh and moist. I cannot wait to try my cookies and other goodies I got. Worth a trip if your in the area.

Tere recently made our wedding cake, and worked with us to create a dessert table (we know and love our dessert). We had a combo lemon/carrot cake, chocolate raspberry cupcakes, her own special cake balls, drop cookies, her homemade Oreos and raspberry cookies. To be honest, I didn’t even get any of the cookies or cake balls because they were completely demolished by our guests. They were all super impressed. We live a few hours away and make it a point to stop in whenever we are in the area. I will definitely be making special trips there for dessert whenever we can. She loves what she does and it shows. We are so grateful for you!!

Not impressive for the only bakery outside of supermarket bakeries. One would think a stand alone bakery would have way more to offer. Their kitchen is larger than the store itself. They should scale it back to make room for more baked goods in the store part.

The cake was amazing!!! The prices are high-end for custom-made cakes but so is the quality of the product. A true work of art. The cake I ordered was in a class by itself. If you want to make a special occasion truly memorable, get a custom-made cake from this place. Totally pro. Does not disappoint!!!!

Sweet Tooth Good place if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth. Decent cheesecakes, maybe bit too sweet but probably best in the area.

All baked goods and food are made completely from scratch and made in the bakery. Since this is a tourist area, inventory is managed very closely to insure quality and freshness. Many complements have been given about the variety of choices that most bakeries don't have. From cookies to custom cakes, CSB will always strive to surpass everyones expectations.

I had great coffee and chocolate mousse at one of their cute tables. Cheerful atmosphere and music, friendly staff. A first rate bakery: scones, cookies, cinnamon buns, danishes are all delicious. I'd rather go here than a big name coffee shop any day.

Forget that Cakes and Scones is the only bakery around for miles and instead focus on the fact that everything is fresh, home made and is delicious. They have a wonderful assortment of cakes, pastries, cookies and other delectable edibles. Or just stop in for a quick coffee and raspberry cookie! The owners are wonderful people and they do have wifi (which can be helpful in this neck of the woods!) and some indoor seating which makes Cakes and Scones a great pitstop while you're out and about!
