Here we offer you the opinions of real people who have information of the services of Trifecta Tavern (Bakery) in the state of Oregon.
Nowadays the business receives a rating of 4.6 over 5 and the score was based on 351 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is basically the top, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Bakery belongs to the category of Restaurant.
One is my favorite restaurants in Portland. We always take our out of town guests here. We order an item per person plus 1-2 dishes and share everything . It’s easy to order more food if it’s not enough. The cocktails are solid , the service is professional, and the atmosphere is relaxing.
Excellent food & service. I can't wait to go back! On the 2nd visit my experience was just as amazing. This place looks "Portland casual" but the service is fine dining quality. I couldn't pick out a single thing to improve, honestly. The food was outrageously good, some of the best service I've had in Portland, the venue was nice, clean, & comfortable. The pricing is a bit more than you'd expect for a "tavern," but not once did they disappoint. I spent over $100 (incl a nice tip) for 2 "super secret" burgers, 2 happy hour items, & 3 beers. Not something I'd do very week, but i left glowing. It's hard to argue with perfection.
The food was frufru and over priced. There was not much on the menue..... And its calles a tavern but is more like one of those places that would serve gourmet chicken nuggets like in the commercial. The best tbing about this place is the decore.
Yep. Really good.
A little chi-chi for my taste but nice. Friendly bartenders with very detailed info about drinks. They get 5 stars.
The people, the food, the drinks! This is the place to take a date or go for happy hour with the girls. Their menu is seasonal, delicious and always accommodating to most dietary preferences. I’m a big fan of grabbing a glass of wine and some of their homemade bread and butter - there’s no better way to kick off an evening (or afternoon) out.
My girlfriend and I chanced upon Trifecta based on a recommendation from a local Portlandian. We shared the burger and a mushroom ravoli. Both were delicious, but the real winner was the burger. The made the majority (if not all) of the ingredients in house and it really showed. It took me 20 minutes to finish it because I never wanted it to end and therefore savoured every bite. Would defintely return just to have the burger. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. There were many couples around us on a night out on the town. The wood burning oven and open concept kitchen just added nicely to the whole appeal.
Great happy hour!
Had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was great. It's a large space so it's not overwhelming even when it was busy. Definitely recommend.
Simply good. Great comfort food, but no where near basic.
Pimento cheese burger is the best
Yummy oyster and delicious wine. Very friendly service. Good atmosphere. A place where you can have a conversation.
come for the happy hour! it's everyday
Highly enjoyed my experience at Trifecta Tavern in SE Portland. My friends and I found their booths comfortable and cozy and service was top notch. We also really enjoyed their craft cocktail menu for happy hour. Seems like more of a happy hour or small plate place than a full on dinner spot. Also like the feel of the open kitchen. We'll be back soon! #onesmallstep
Great happy hour. It was busy, but the wait was short. The service was friendly.
The service is excellent, and the spaghettini is life changing!
The food is all good and the bread is epic!
Food was decent, but left hungry. Very limited vegetarian options.
Food was excellent.
I have never had anything but a spectacular meal here. Where dish has a unique pallet of flavors.
Awesome flat bread and oysters!
They did it, the Trifecta of poor service, poor food quality and overpriced. Not much good to say here, many other places are much much better.
Fabulous food and service--not one bad dish, and the server was more than patient with our large-ish group. The one complaint is the lighting at the table, lamps that put out heat at a level comparable to Ken Forkish's wood-fired oven. Those of us sitting next to them were dripping sweat 2 hours later, even after we unscrewed one of them. How 'bout some LED's, for the sake of the environment AND your customers?
Excellent food but chill and friendly.
Very fun reataraunt. New hip spot that I will be returning to!
Good good and drink. Lively vibe.
Great Food and Service. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing homemade fresh pasta in a perfect portion!
Beer offering is poor and food was very salty.
Great service in a relaxed atmosphere even on busy nights. Every staff interaction is friendly and welcoming. The menu is a bit limited, and vegetarian options are few to almost non-existent, but the overall quality of the food is excellent. It's a bit pricey but standard for that location in Portland. Will definitely return.
Haven't had one of their flatbread daily special I didn't like! Ken's bread is fantastic coupled with his homemade butter, sweet! Get their early, happy hour pricing can save you a few bucks. All of the staff is great, kudos to whoever does the hiring. We especially like Susan, she is awesome. Highly recommend.
After banking hours, you can park in the lot across the street. The food was good and so was the service. I enjoyed the burger and my bf got the sausage. We had the brûlée for dessert, which was delicious. Great wine and beer selection.
Third time here and still walking out thouroughly impressed. Burrata mushroom appetizer was just as good as I remembered it the last time we were here. New item on the menu this time quail with foie gras...spectacular! I’ll will be dreaming about this one. Beautiful presentation. A little bit of each thing...the apple bread, the sautéed onions, the quail, a bit of foie gras, altogether made for the perfect bite. Don’t forget to finish with the Key Lime pie. ***also, best old fashioned I’ve had in this city*** Service was excellent as always.
Every visit there has been great. We never leave without getting a couple different loaves of their breads. Which are free with dinner with $2 for butter.
Trifecta is an upscale tavern style restaurant. Seats are usually in high-demand for their tapas style menu and main course dishes. The food has been consistent the few times I have been there. The service has also been at a level that reflects the price point of the restaurant. It has a great dark cozy atmosphere.
The food was tremendous, totally worth the trip down. My two disappointments were the service and the tempo of serving. We ordered several starters, salads and entrees. We were not sharing entrees but apparently they do "family" style so even the entrees came staggered. Two of us were done eating before the third entree arrived. The patronizing waitress was not helpful when we expressed our complaint. I guess its not our cup of tea. Seems like another Portland restaurant with great food and a snooty attitude, we'll skip it next time.
Came here for dinner two times this week in our 1week stay in Portland. Amazing oysters (tide point is the best), steaks and lots of ‘can’t go wrong’ delicious food.
Really nice meal tonight. I had the steak frites!
Excellent place. Friendly staff, great cocktails, great food, great atmosphere.
Good food & service
Great food, great drinks, great service. A semi-formal yet casual environment.
The oysters were really good.
Love this place, great vibe and awesome food.
All the dishes were fresh & well made. Farm to table concept. My pork chop was spot on. So was the duck breast. French fries are the best I have ever had.
Great food and service. We really enjoyed time here.
This place was delectably special and exceeded our expectations in every way. The bread . . . Wow! I have not had fresh churned butter since I was a kid over 50 years ago. The heirloom tomato salad's layers of flavor were memorable. The smoked potatoes with smoked aioli were unique in the best way possible. The spicy chicken wings finger licking. The service was first rate. Took home key lime pie because we were full but knew it would be delectable based on the rest of the meal. I wish we were local so we could come back again and again!
One of my favorite hometown haunts. And my hometown has some great places to eat. The food, staff and atmosphere is fabulous. Don't skip the oysters to start. ;)
WOW to the charred octopus. WOW to the monkfish crust. Top-notch eats here. Added bonus: some free walnut rye bread and croissants from the bakery as we left for the night!
Another great restaurant/bar. Ken (from Kens artisan bakery) supplies the baked goods. The food is well prepared and curated well. Have plenty of vegetarian/non-vegetarian options. Also a creative cocktail list.
Great double cheeseburger with pimiento!
Went for a casual business dinner with 6 other people. We all loved the food. The service was great. Will definitely return.
Fantastic happy hour menu! The deviled eggs were delightful. Their house champagne is a great compliment to all HH dishes. Very comfortable, unassuming atmosphere. Oysters on the half shell were larger than anticipated and full of flavor!
Popular place, and for good reason. An appealing menu, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. Among the menu standouts that we tried were the smoked/smashed/fried potatoes, roasted asparagus with tahini (fantastic), roast cauliflower special, and the insanely unctuous pimento double cheeseburger (recommend sharing the burger - few normal humans can eat the whole thing).
Awesome happy hour, I wish they asked how done to cook the burger though.
Delicious food and wonderful company. Excellent service too.
Great food and fantastic service.
The service was excellent and the bartender gave excellent offers, though. Serving size is ok, but if you want to feel full, I would recommend ordering a hamburger, there are other delicious dishes here, but most likely it will be the best price-quality ratio
Such a great evening. Friendly staff, professional service great food. What more can you ask for? The deviled eggs to start were fantastic. Loved adding hot sauce to them. The flat bread was light and flavorful, great appetizers. My wife had the Halibut which came with leeks, 4 mussels, and a broth that was incredible. Hard to describe the flavor, just was really good. I had the double pimento cheeseburger. Just a great burger with excellent meat, perfect bun, and a great pimento cheese. Crispy fries were hot and tasty. We split the Hot Fudge sundae. Perfect ending to a great meal!
I can't say enough about this place. Food is wonderful and the staff is friendly and down to earth.
Call before you go me and my fiancé tried to go spontaneously around 10pm on a Saturday night. And so we walked in through the door checked in with the bouncer. Got a stamp than he directed us to a person behind a table right next to us. Than asked to be seated and we where told first you have to be a party of six or more or at least say your are a party of six or more. Than we would still have to wait possibly 45 min or so. But the place was almost completely empty. There was maybe 10 people in there max. It was the strangest thing to us so we just looked at each other shocked and said well alright than and went down the street to another establishment. Maybe I’m just not hipster enough to understand.
This was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure how my wife found it, but loved the food. Loved the atmosphere. Liked the staff. Good luck with parking....
Moorish bread, friendly service and atmosphere, and pretty good food that was a tad bit on the salty side.
Sooooo bomb! Actually love the way they serve their oysters on a half shell. Not a huge fan of their wings but the service was also stellar!
Amazing dishes. Lots of small plates to order and share around the table. I went here for Valentines day with my husband and loved the atmosphere. We didn't have a reservation and still got amazing comfortable seats in the back of the restaurant. The roasted carrot dish was delicious as well as the pork rillons. We did not like the shrimp and grits (perhaps a little too cooked for our taste) but the service was nice enough to comp the plate. Also amazing cocktails, will definitely come back and bring more friends!
That Pimento cheeseburger is fire.
5 stars for the bakery, but only 4 stars for the restaurant. We tried 4 things at the restaurant, which were tasty, but nothing I would seek out to have again. *Everything* in the bakery is delicious.
Tasty! Good drinks and good happy hour too!
Great place across the board!
Trifecta earns some serious street cred on SE 6th between Alder and Morrison. The atmosphere is upscale diner-like, with red plastic booths in a cavernous space, but the food belies its pedigree, with dishes like potatoes boulanger and wood fired marrow bones. Breads are baked on site so the buns get as much attention as the meats inside. Given the casual vibe, I opted to sample the local draft beers over wines or cocktails; however, the lists for both are equally impressive. Tip: happy hour extends to Saturday until 5 pm, when you can get $6 wines and $10 burgers and flatbreads.
It's a spacious place with a warm feeling. I like the happy hour. They bake all their own bread.
Four of us had dinner at Trifecta Tavern, so we got to taste a wide variety of their dishes. All of us loved the food! Yum! The service was great, too. The prices are reasonable for this type of upscale food. It was pretty noisy, but a real winner other than that.
Duck breast in a wild mushroom sauce, heavenly!
Consistently great. We have been coming here for years and every time it has been perfect. I love to sit at the bar when we can or in the booths across from the bar to be in the middle of it all. The food is creative and thoughtful with a new surprise or twist each time we visit. The cocktails are among the very best anywhere, from bartenders who know what they are doing. Service is graceful and efficient. We were last to leave last night and I was beautiful to watch the whole place come in for a landing. It was a privilege to watch.
Always great food and spacious atmosphere. Good location with bars nearby to check out.
The food here is fantastic! I love all the kinds of burgers, sliders are bomb.
Decent happy hour. Great burger, good fries, hip atmosphere, and moderately overpriced.
Deliciou burger
Great bar tender, warm decor and nice mix of flavors. My only complaint was that there was too much salt in the two dishes I tried. Fortunately the other great seasonings and flavors still came through.
One of the best happy hours anywhere.
Good food. The big ass steak was not as good as it looked. Service was good. I would come back.
I had an extremely embarrassing experience at Trifecta. I've never been to a restaurant where I was allergic to EVERYTHING on the menu until I tried to eat with a group of 7 at Trifecta. The extremely rude server wouldnt allow for ANY substitutions. I am Celiac and allergic to some fruits, especially apples. I ordered the foie gras, which is usually accompanied by sliced baguette and apple butter. I mentioned my allergies to the server. I politely asked the server, while also apologizing, if it was possible to substitute ANYTHING for the bread so I would have a vehicle for the foie. She said NO. I ate my $17 Foie Gras like you would a bowl of ice cream, with a spoon. But only after getting shot down by her again. Embarrassed and feeling ashamed for being the only one with allergies my partner and I left prior to the main course being served. I don't know if it was the server or if Trifecta just doesn't accommodate anybody but people like them, but I will not be going back.
Good food. Good service. Fantastic key lime pie.
Fantastic service, delicious food! Outstanding location, we will be returning soon!
Amazing atmosphere, service and most importantly FOOD! Chef Chris Diminno knocked it out of the park, yet again. His food knowledge, attention to detail/creativity and love of his career are inspiring and much appreciated.
This one of the eclectic PDX places with great food and drinks
I was I voted by friends to this very modern hipster place. At first glance I thought I would be receiving overpriced food aka paying for the view. The food here was amazing tho. We started out with deviled eggs with smoked cod on top, baked oysters and wood fired Brussels sprouts which were all unique and addicting! Next we had pork, cauliflower cherry salad, who know this vegetable could be so good? All in all it was a great experiance with tasty wine and superb customer service.
Was recommended this very cool Restaurant while visiting Portland which is known to be a foodie’s city. Very nice setting with old school booths. Reasonably priced and great service. Loved the Halibut Brandade, excellent bread...
One of my local favorites. Amazing farm to table cuisine. The house churned butter is worth eating plain.
This place was highly recommended while I was in town and now I know why! Everything was super tasty and eloquently prepared Service was exceptional as well!
Pimento Double-Cheeseburger and Fries! I saw the burger featured on the top 10 Portland burgers and had to check it out. I realized why it was on that list. From the meat to the bun, this was a well prepared burger. My only regret was sharing with a friend. Do not share your burger with a friend. It's a double, but it's not going to over-stuff you. The fries were golden and crispy. No complaints there. Also tried the Braised Beef Sandwich....mistake. It was bland. No real flavor. Maybe it was an off night. This place also served a beer that has been recalled due to double fermentation (10 Barels - Swill). I'm not complaining; I'm happy they served it. One of the best beers I've had. Ample seating inside. Not that long of a wait.
Great bartenders, super helpful and friendly
Great beer selection, not a lot of vegetarian options, but a unique menu and good ambiance. Laid back. The fries are rad.
Trifecta: so rye, walnut and baguette and that’s just the beginning of wonderful food. The walnut flavor in the bread races through your mouth. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. I tested the calamari. It was tender and delicious. The flat is is a must. Crispy delicious and a must-order. Do yourself a favor and put this place on your regular list.
That cauliflower! And burger and fries. Everything is killer and mostly affordable, including the wine list
If you haven’t been to trifecta you got to go. My all-time favorite is there a double Permento cheese burger, The bun is made in house with brioche dough and they make the pimento cheese in house as well. Another one of my favorites is there bread they have an amazing walnut bread which is to die for, they make an amazing roasted cauliflower salad when you eat it it’s like you’ve died and gone to heaven.
Awesome food and great service
I love their cherry salad with cauliflower, tasty burger & fries. My all time fav is the house made butter with bread.
Amazing & creative
Good
Love their happy hour. The bartenders are creative and quite good.
Upscale dining restaurant with a fantastic menu, amazing cocktails, and raw oysters.
The real deal. Great local food, great cocktails, and the most amazing bread. Get the butter. So worth it.
I come here every year for their pimento cheeseburger.
Nice place. Great food. Friendly staff. A little pricey.
Outstanding cocktails and food!
So glad we decided to try this place out while visiting Portland. Our experience was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was phenomenal. The food was exceptional, especially the oysters. Highly recommended.
Great food, solid cocktails and desserts. Portions on the small side, but not excessively so.
Great food. Usually have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. Love the happy hour oysters
Got the burger n fries.. wasn't impressed paying 16 dollars for something an 8 year old can eat and still not be full
Fun place with the family. Great atmosphere and food.
Damn good happy hour menu!
Trendy and a bit expensive. But the great service and terrific food and drinks are worth it. A fantastic date night place. Spoil yourselves here!
Nice people go there and get killed don't let your kids walk down 6tave in day get killed like Marian Smith Closs family Bober cougerattack lady her mom, sister, mom had help from Donald Trump jr and advisors only organized crime is safe there and vacinaty search wanted websites know where know where your at every where one of the most people that go there or organized crime and they can get homeless people to commit crimes to
Always a great place to eat and has some of the best chefs in town!
Love this new restaurant form Ken Forkish. It's an amazing space with excellent bistro-style food that showcases local ingredients. Even with the large crowds, service is quick and pleasant. One of my new faves! #onesmallstep
Awesome oyesters, great bartending!!!
Tasty, unique food, amazing and attentive staff, creative cocktails. Can't go wrong here. The burger was simple and most satisfying, and highly recommend.
The entrees are small, but delicious
Food is to "Interesting" for me. Yes I'm picky, but neither my guest nor I could find anything on the menu that sounded appealing. We settled on fries with a glass of wine. Oh well
Terrific restaurant. The service is great and the flat bread and grilled duck breast were standout favorites. Also, an order of bread consists of a very healthy portion.
I am in love. Gives smoked cauliflower salad and deviled eggs or give me death. Speaking of death, the bread and pastry are to die for. Speaking of death, trifecta is my choice for my sixtieth birthday dinner. I could go anywhere on PDX but this is my top choice. If life is fair, that adorable rocker actress will be our server and they'll have cobbler.
Best happy hour in town
You have to try the deviled eggs ... Amazing!
First rate happy hour!
Ken Forkish has done it again. This is his third Portland bakery/restaurant afters Ken's Artisan Bakery and Ken's Artisan Pizza. A really cool, hip and interesting space. I really like the red booths. The burger is excellent. Ken's bun and first rate ingredients makes this burger a contender for best in Portland. I can't wait for the morning and lunch component of the concept to come to fruition.
really love the atmosphere of this place. The food was good, not too pricey, good place to be
Comfortable, open place with good cocktails and delicious, inventive food. Especially nice on summer evenings with the garage doors all opened up so its an indoor/outdoor space. Good happy hour!
Food is good, the condescending and pretentious staff left a bad taste. Will not be returning and will definitely steer all friends, family, coworkers and clients far from this place.
Best octopus I've ever had. Crispy feta was excellent as well. The pork shank stole the show, but I devoured it before snapping a pic. A+++!
My husband and I and two friends were there last night (12/27/13) to celebrate his 65th birthday. We came an hour early to have a drink. Immediately we were offered our reserved table but chose to sit at a small bar near the restaurant bar overlooking the booths. Lovely. It is a spacious room and very serene and the food was divine. We ordered an assortment of wood-roasted veggies and an arugula flatbread and a house salad and 2 entrees, a pork chop and chicken. Well-flavored and fun to share with the table. To top off our wonderful meal. we shared a light and just sweet enough pumpkin mousse. The bar is long and wide enough so those that are seated there can enjoy a full meal. We will be back.
Delicious food, but smaller portions. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the servers have some attitude.
Best food in Portland! Amazing service, all around great atmosphere, if your looking for a memorable experience with food and drink Trifecta is a good must!!
We loved the food selection and drink options available. The service was excellent and we left extremely satisfied. Will definitely be coming back
Great happy hour menu. Kind of pricey.
Very cool vibe. Sat in a booth in the bar with views of the kitchen, pizza oven and area of what seemed to be non stop shucking of oysters. For starters had the Trifecta bread plate with an excellent homemade butter and Burrata with wood oven roasted mushrooms which was very tasty. Entrees were Spaghettini with Dungeness crab and the double patty Pimento burger with Ember Charred Salad. WOW WOW. Great food, wine, drinks and service.
Excellent food, happy hour is amazing, fantastic service.
Locked on service, unquestionable menu and theres parking.to.boot
Such a good deal for happy hour. All of the food is amazing. Our favorites, the 1$ oysters, deviled eggs, pimento cheeseburger. We also tried the steak frites and they were fantastic.
Had a quick bite to eat here and a few drinks. Their cocktails were on point.
Cocktails are great. Food is exciting. Staff is friendly.
Happy hour; wood oven and grill
Went there for my 40th birthday with the family, had just the best meal and an overall great experience.
Beautiful bar with top notch food! It’s a bakery, with a marble bar, that does oysters, pasta, and pimento cheese burgers like you’ve never had! You can blindly point to the menu and it will be amazing. Their happy hour is a really good deal.
Everything is top notch here - the drinks, the small plates, the dessert!
Amazing value at their happy hour! One of the best in the city!
Celebrated my 30th birthday here! Everything is fantastic!
Great food and fantastic bread, but our waitress pretty much ignored us the entire evening. Five stars for the meal, one for the wait staff.
I’ve never had anything but a great meal the few times I’ve been to Trifecta!
I can’t say enough about the staff. Wonderful,
Rockin' happy hour!
We like to go there for the bar and for late night eats. The bartenders are always friendly and the drinks are fantastic. The fresh bread is somewhere between amazing and incredible. You really can't go wrong with this place. It has been open now for ~4 years and it's been a terrific if slightly underrated addition to the Portland food scene.
We LOVE bread so have been meaning to sample the sister restaurant to the excellent Ken’s Artisan Bakery and Ken’s Artisan Pizza. Trifecta didn't disappoint. Your meal comes with a large serving of several breads, as always so very tasty and made an excellent foil for our oysters. We chose the Oysters Trifecta, baked with leeks, fennel, bacon, breadcrumbs and topped with hollandaise….. rich and melt in your mouth a-mazing. The menu looks exciting with lots of dishes good to share. Oysters are prominent, but if that's not your fancy then there's a wide range of items at a variety of price points, ranging from sandwiches and burgers to a little more upscale steaks, marrow, razor clams, rabbit. In keeping with the seafood theme, we also tasted the fresh Skate which was meaty with a slightly buttery/crispy crust and supremely fresh and soft in the middle. Onto drinks- we were sitting at the bar were tempted into several craft cocktails, all were spot-on. Service was friendly and attentive. The slightly industrial interior is warm and inviting, containing a large bar with seating, an open kitchen at the far end (featuring a icy oyster display) and lots of cozy booths. It has the feeling of an upscale and unpretentious neighborhood restaurant. I think singles could feel comfortable at the bar and there seems lots of room for groups too. Oh and there's a small bakery counter up front selling kens breads to take home: go on, you deserve it! Pretty sure we'll be back.
Great service, deep menu, fun vibe.
Good happy hour, nice atmosphere.
Loved their oven roasted cauliflower dish. The walnut bread is fantastic, and their pastries as well.
Love this place ! The bread and butter starter is so delicious . The smashed roasted little potatoes are the best. The pork shank entree is my favourite. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about everything on their menu. The decor is dark and sexy and very cozy. This is our go to place for several more reasons, but it would take forever to list.
I used to love her, but it’s all over now.
