This is the place to go, for subs/sandwiches, desserts/pastries, salads, snacks, et al. Great taste with a robust selection from corned beef on rye to chopped BBQ brisket to eggplant Parmesan! Prices hover in the 4-6$ range so very affordable. Not to mention day old bread at 99 cents a loaf!

I read a few reviews for this place and the Reuben was said to be excellent. I was excited, because I have been craving a Reuben. I was extremely disappointed that the sandwich was apparently put together cold and microwaved. I've never had a Reuben that wasn't grilled, and I see why everybody else grills them. So it doesn't fall apart. The rye bread seemed to have a good flavor, but I couldn't get over the soggy mess it turned into after being microwaved with the sauerkraut on it. These folks seriously need to invest in a grill if they want to serve a Reuben. I understand why it's called Someplace Else. After I got my sandwich, I wished I had gone someplace else.

Wow, what a delight. I love the atmosphere of this place, very old school and has an amazing staff. Order was out in no time. I got their famous hoagie today for lunch and it was very good. Prices are like 4.90 for every sandwich. What a steal. I enjoy it so much I told my coworkers about it and we all got the rueben before they closed along with the potato salad. First of all, that’s some of the best potato salad we’ve ever had. It’s gotta be homemade. The sandwiches pack on the meat. They’re not HUGE, but they fill you up.

Fantastic, locally owned ideal for both picking up deli meat/bread and stopping by for a quick lunch. The bread and cookies are made in-house, and you can immediately taste this difference with the first bite. Prices are some of the best in the urban core. Friendly staff, too. Highly recommend!

Great food for fair/low price. Their corned beef sandwich came with a oot of meat on it. I had the local rye (soft version) and it was great. Nice and fresh. Only downside - no public restrooms that I saw. Overall a great experience for me and my family.

Someplace Else is a charming neighborhood bakery and deli with a personality all its own. The sandwiches are always fresh and delicious and made with bread baked on site every morning. The same can be said about the cookies and cinnamon rolls. Everything is reasonably priced, made with quality ingredients. The personnel and clientele are always personable. No complaints.

Someplace Else is a wonderful tucked away place with an amazingly witty name. Their sandwiches are a nice change of pace from all the sand which chains around. If you want to "eat fresh" try here. The environment isn't amazing, typically I don't want to stay and eat, but with the seating available, I'm not sure that they are going for that anyways. However, the service is very friendly and helpful with all my (too many) questions. I can be pretty picky when it comes to what goes on my sandwich and they are very patient with me. Every sandwich I've had there was wonderful and the price to portion ration is great. They offer a lot of baked goods as well, I haven't tried them yet, but they always look absolutely delicious.

The thing to remember is that everything is very basic. That being said, it's all so well executed. Reuben was good, chicken salad sandwich is good... This is a bakery foremost. Their breads and baked goods are all super yummy. The service is always very friendly and fast. And the price is great, too. Around $6 will get you a full sandwich and two sweets.

Great home like feel. It reminds you of a small town mom and pop sandwich shop. They make a good sandwich. You can order from the menu or build your own. They're cinnamon rolls are yummy. As well as their other desserts like cookies, brownies, lemon squares, s'mores and cupcakes. They never have a special of the day. The prices are reasonable for the size proportions. Don't expect great over the top service. Just order your sandwich and be happy. We love it.

Great little hole in the wall deli. It's been around for decades, catering to local business people, neighborhood folk, and college peeps. The bread is always fresh, and the deli meats are top notch. I love the Reuben, and I'm a big fan of the tabouli salad. Cookies are hit or miss, but they're super cheap, so it's always worth the gamble. Don't be afraid to ask how fresh they are!

If you want a quick bite for cheap, this is your place! Gives you a small town deli feel and has been around forever. Very cozy and quaint place. Tasty home cooked type food. Desserts are AMAZING! I honestly don't know why this place is ranked so high. It's just basic sub sandwiches you could make at home. The bread was good but a little stale, and my cookie was old and hard. It had a good flavor though so I'm sure they're delicious fresh. I will probably try this place again because it may have just been a bad day. But it was almost 10 dollars for a really plain sandwich and a stale cookie.

Disappointing..... Had high hopes. Had the chicken salad sandwich on rye and pasta salad. The bread was the best part of the sandwich. The food factory could give them a good lesson in making chicken salad. . the pasta salad was cery heavily dressed, but tasty.
