The only thing I hate about this place is the location since it's on a corner, on a busy street. Other than that, I love it. Sampled a few cupcakes there but my favorite were the blueberry lemon and wedding cake. The frosting is light and not too sweet or stick to the the roof of your mouth which is a plus for me. The cupcakes itself are sturdy yet soft when you bite in. Glad I stopped by, they are just as good as my favorite bake shop in Colorado.

Gigi's always provides great service and even better treats. I visit several times a year to get cupcakes for my employees birthdays. I was amazed to learn that the store is part of a chain or franchise operation. I'm not used getting consistently great service from chain stores in America anymore.

Most of the time I get cupcakes here they are perfectly moist and have that signature butter sweet icing on top. I'm wedding cake fan. Lol!! Every now and then they might be a dry one but I have Never known Gigi's not to fix any issue like that with a free cup cake just return it and tell them they are super nice! I live 30 min away but downtown is closest one I go couple times a month when I can. I'm so addicted. I been sick with rare blood Disorder and I have trouble eating I lost 100lbs. but I can almost always eat a Gigi's cupcake. So Gigi if you need a loyal person to help you spread the word let me know we can make a deal. Lmbo! Keep up the good work Gigi I love your cup cakes!

I made my weekly trip to Gigi's Broadway today and was so pleasantly pleased to see the renovations. Good job, indeed! Every time I enter the shop, I am greeted with, "Hello! Welcome to Gigi's!" Never have I seen a less than pleasant and professional employee. Because of the positive demeanor of the entire staff, I'm sure this is an excellent work environment. I have been to Gigi's across the country, and this is my favorite store to visit. If I could give it more than five stars, I certainly would. Keep up the excellent work!

Ran by the original Gigi's cupcakes downtown on Broadway on Sunday afternoon. There were a couple of carmel turtle and chocolate turtle cheesecakes. There were many more cupcakes, but I still always find myself wishing there were more flavors available. HURRY PUMPKIN lovers! Pumpkin Spice is in & is it ever pumpkin! Lots of cream cheese frosting with clear flavors of cinnamon and pumpkin (hint of nutmeg?) with flecks of pumpkin cake top the cupcake. The price of over $3.00 is well worth it for this seasonal cupcake. Parking is still tight, but enough for us to stay long enough to eat our treats & drink coffee or bottled drinks available. Always fresh!

I placed an online order two weeks ago for a Halloween boo box and a dozen cupcakes both of which were for parties and paid 70$ for them. I even have my receipt for them. Thought I was placing the order at Opry Mills Mall but when I went to pick up the cupcakes I found out the mall location was closed. Okay it wasn’t too big of a deal because my receipt said the Broadway location so I called to make sure they had my cupcakes. They had no record of my order or that they had charged me. I am beyond mad. Now a birthday and Halloween party are ruined. These were going to be the highlight of the parties. I am outraged. I expect a refund but we will see once I talk to a manager.

The name might be famous, but when a cupcake is known by it's name and not it's exceptional taste and texture, its reputation is superficial. This was my first visit to Gigi's. I ordered two cupcakes and both were small and dry and heaped with icing. While the icing was up to par, I didn't want to close my eyes and moan in supreme approval. Had there been more cake than icing, and had there been more moisture in the cake, I would have been more satisfied.

This was my first unsatisfying experience after years of loving Gigi's. The pretzel on the chocolate peanut butter pretzel cupcake was stale, as was the entire creme brulée cupcake (or it had been left in the oven way too long). I ordered ahead of time, so it was like they had been pulled off the line in the morning and left in the box till I got them at 3:00. Also, the Gigi's swirl was falling off the strawberry shortcake, and my daughter found a HAIR in her red velvet! I was so excited for the upcoming Valentine's menu, but now I'm taking a long sabbatical. Very disappointed and Gigi would be too.

Be warned, the cupcakes were very very sweet. With that said, I enjoyed the fruity ones, such as Flamango and Strawberry Shortcake. The frosting for the Salted Caramel Cheesecake was so salty. Each cupcake is about $5. Tip: Bring a cup of coffee to balance the sweetness (or get some hot chicken from Hattie B's next door!)

I grab a few every month or so for the family, and they are delicious. I think maybe one or two have been dry since I've been going there for some time now, but usually they are incredibly moist. They have a ton of icing on them, and they really are good looking. We had a bunch made for our newborn's Christening and they were well priced, beautiful, and tasted great. The girls there are always so helpful.

I really liked the taste but it was really pricey for what you are getting. A little sad because I was recommended to go here for my birthday so I went in and it was my first time there at all and my first time in a specialty shop like that as well. The customer service was just so bad. It's everything to me so I'm a little sad with how it kind of was. I came in and was asked if they could help me and I say it's my first time and I don't know how other people go about their first times but I like to look around and see all my options and really make sure I saw all the flavors. I figured it shouldn't be so bad since no one was behind me at all. I guess it was really bad though because the girl became kind of short with me and pushy to rush me maybe? Not so sure why... and three different people cycled through trying to help me but I mean just let me look! All three were huffy that I was looking at their cupcakes. You guys work so hard on them why not let people just enjoy seeing them?? I made my rushed selection and got out of there but will not be back.

Reasonably priced! I've tried all abundt cakes and this place trumps them by 1000% The taste of the actual cake was wonderful! The frosting is so overwhelming on most cupcakes that you never really get the chance to enjoy the flavor of the actual cake, but not here! The chocolate, it's divine the strawberry heavenly! My next is the turtle topped one! I will say It's hit or miss with the moisture of the cake but I'd still prefer the taste of these over the plain flavor of all abundt cakes.

Yes, amazing, cup cakes but I do agree with most of the other reviews. I went in to this location for the first time a couple of days ago and I was taking my time to look pick over everything before picking what I wanted. The older lady behind the counter started acting like that bothered her. She was a little snarky in the first place and the sad thing is I think she may have been the manager/owner. In a way she comes across like you owe her something and she's doing you a favor. NOT making her store look good at all so sad because the product is great. I only gave the 2nd star because the product was good.

I love Gigi's! I've heard nothing but amazing things about them from my friends. I got the opportunity to go in with my coworker and were welcomed with sweet smells and friendly customer service. I got the Wedding Cake cupcake and my coworker got one of the Cheesecakes. Let me tell all of y'all, those little treats were from heaven. We sat at the comfortable bar area in front of the window in utter silence enjoying our treats. As long as I'm living in OKC, I will forever be coming back to Gigi's. Keep up the amazing work guys!!

Gigi’s in Oklahoma City, OK After research: This is NOT an isolated incident!!! 1 start ONLY because ZERO was not an option:( I live in another state and wanted cupcakes delivered to a store in the mall. I know NOTHING about Oklahoma City and when I called GiGi's I asked if they were located in the mall. The associate said no but they do deliver to the mall. There was a $15 delivery fee. That was perfectly fine. On the day of the delivery, the delivery person went to a mall and could not find the store. She called the store that was to receive the cupcakes for more information. She was angry and rude about the misunderstanding. Then, the delivery person called me and was rude and angry towards me. She said that I told them the wrong mall. I said I was sorry about what happened but I never stated the name of the mall. I did not know there was more than one mall. I stated again that I knew nothing about OKC and that I had explained that when I initially called. I also restated my initial question for her: “Are you located in THE mall.” In addition to being rude and angry towards me and the person answering the phone at the store, she charged an additional $10 for the delivery. A $25 delivery fee when $10 was stated and the error was not my fault. I think the person from Gigi’s should have determined WHICH mall especially when a caller states they know NOTHING about OKC. After the Gigi’s employee made the error, I should not have be charged an extra $10. It was not my error. It was an error made by Gigi’s. Had I been charged the extra $10 but Gigi’s had been polite, it would not have been such a shock. The majority of my shopping is online and I often have items delivered. I have NEVER had someone be SO RUDE and ANGRY. More importantly, the poor little associate at the Mall store was COMPLETELY innocent and did not deserve Gigi’s wrath. Since this episode, I have spoken with others in OKC. This is NOT an isolated episode. To the delivery lady who made the two nasty calls: NO CUPCAKES are worth that bad behavior. Shame on you.

This place is great and definitely a fun place to stop while in Nashville! The cupcakes taste amazing and their flavor choices are really fun and unique. Be sure to check their website each day for the "Flavors of the Day" and grab a handful of cupcakes when you go to the store. The location is convenient, and right now some repairs are going on inside the store. They are still open, but selling cupcakes from their mobile store inside an RV. Prices are slightly higher than most, but the quality is great. Lots of people complain about the amount of icing, which is confusing to me. Take it OFF the cupcake if you don't like that much icing. If they didn't put enough on, people would complain as well.

After a glowing recommendation from my hotel's staff, I decided to check this place out. The place is a bit small, but very homey. As I waited in line, I surveyed the other customers as to their favorite cupcake. While they all had different choices, their opinion of Gigi's was that it was outstanding. I selected two cupcakes for my initial research, then went back twice more to collect additional data. Their cupcakes are so fresh you're tempted to slap them! The cake is ever so moist and the frosting piled high; absolutely delicious. Bring a friend or two so you can share different varieties. Highly recommended.

Best cupcake I've ever had (white midnight something or other - recommended by the server). The cheesecake was also amazing - creamy and rich but not heavy. What a great dessert to have if you still have room after Hattie Bs hot chicken next door. Pricing is gourmet but not outrageous and for the quality its great. I was happy to see gluten friendly options as well as some handmade items like Gigis daughters homemade slime for sale! Great little spot

8/29/2016 Service is knowledgeable, I order color cupcakes for my little ones bday tomorrow and when I came over and pick them up they only make chocolate and vanilla flavor. Very disappointed... My order was strawberry chocolate and vanilla with different color toppings. Very unhappy I paid $39.02 for a very tiny cupcakes when walmart sell them for $18 dollars bigger sizes and at least they pay attention when I order something. Sucks, they lose a good customer... I won't recommend this place to nobody. U a re e paying for the name not for the service or size of the cupcakes.

Such a cute store with amazingly delicious cupcakes! I tried the Strawberry Parfait along with 3 cupcakes I took home, and all were delicious and for how beautiful the cupcakes were decorated I thought the prices were more than fair. Highly Reccommend! Definitely will be back soon.

It all started with me calling to change my order. First they could not find my order (I ordered online). I was on the line for a cool 15 minutes! They finally had to replace my order. Ok, I wasn't going to be nasty about it.. Then I walked in the store. Cool ambiance, very attractive displays. I was optimistic. I mentioned my order, they searched for a while, and brought it to me. Then tried to charge me for an order that I'd already paid for! Now on to the product. I got the love box thinking "Sweets for my sweetheart on Valentine's". HOLY FAIL! While pretty, those cupcakes have a seizure-inducing amount of frosting on a sub-par cake! And to make things worse, the red velvet was HORRENDOUS!! It had this creamy icky thing in the middle that triggered my gag reflex. The other cakes weren't so bad, but they were nothing to write home about either. I could have made tastier cakes myself rather than spend the money on a chunk of frosting and a pretty box. The person I gave the cakes to was not impressed. For all the hype, Gigi's isn't worth it.

Took my daughter in for her birthday celebration. Got waited on by Gigi herself. The cupcakes were delicious and beautiful. We had a wonderful time.

I am so disappointed by the level of customer service I received today from here. I ordered a salted caramel cupcake for my coworker today; when I asked her about the taste she replied "it's stale". I phoned Gigi's Cupcakes and I spoke with Blake. I told Blake about the cupcake and he proceeded to tell me the texture was due to the caramel that's in the cupcake and that I should not order that cupcake again going forward. Really? He also stated that he would not refund me, when I never asked about a refund. When I called back the 2nd time to ask for a manager he told me he was the manager. After asking for the corporate number, he questioned why I wanted it and he then offered to replace the cupcake, but never gave me the corporate phone number. He actually told me to Google the number because he could not locate it. Very poor customer service!

I don’t live in Nashville. I pass this location on my way to Vanderbilt. Today was my first time stopping in because I promised my daughter I would get her a cupcake. There is no parking and that is most likely what will keep me from returning. We got our cupcakes to go.

I found an eyelash in a cupcake that I purchased and was truly grossed out. The customer service leaves much to be desired and its a shame because the recipes that GiGi Butler has for her cupcakes is great. Too bad there are alot of incompetent folks hiding behind her recipes.
