Drove all the way from Worthington because my co-worker brought me some granny rolls (to bribe me not to be angry from stealing my lunch) and they were so delicious I had to go there for myself. Easy to find, right on Livingston Ave, plenty of free parking. Very nice bakery, pleasant staff and the items we bought: vanilla cupcakes, granny rolls and cream filled donuts (Bismarks?) were all superb. The vanilla cupcakes reminded me how cupcakes are supposed to taste - light and fluffy cake, creamy icing that doesn't leave that greasy feeling in your mouth - obviously fresh and made with quality ingredients. Can't wait to go back to try some other stuff!

My grandma has been talking about the crème horns from this place for years but we don't live nearby. I myself finally decided to go there for the first time to surprise her but I went very late in the afternoon/early evening and they were sold out. So that was unfortunate. The back up item was iced oatmeal cookies that she speaks a lot about too but they were sold out. Mostly I blame myself for going so late in the day so I have no hard feelings about that. But the employee went scrounging around in the back and came back w/ a few of the iced oatmeal cookies that were sealed up. She explained they weren't enough to make a full package that they usually sell them in and gave them to me for free. I've literally never gotten anything free from a business before. So I went on to buy a 1/2 dozen donuts as well. It is not an exaggeration to say these were the best donuts I've ever tasted. You can't even compare them to a chain place. Words can't really describe the difference as it's only something your taste buds can fully capture. Hope the review doesn't get the employee in trouble for the free cookies but I do want to say thank you so much for looking for them in the back. Oh btw, they were literally the best iced oatmeal cookie I've ever tasted. I really appreciated you getting them from the back as the whole purpose of me coming was to pickup stuff for my grandma as a surprise and this is her 2nd favorite item you sell. I do plan to come back once every 4-6 weeks to pickup a few treats and next time I'll be there earlier so as to not miss out!

While visiting fam in Columbus, I went into the store to see my choices. I've had a couple of doughnuts from here once before, about a year ago. This bakery is very good. They have plenty of parking, they use a pull a ticket method to wait on customers. The wait wasn't long, customer service was great. The place was clean, smelled wonderful and the pastries are awesome! I like Krispy Kreme too but they can not hold a candle to Resch's Bakery.

My family has been going here for 60 years or so, since my mom was a little girl. It's consistently the best bakery around. Our birthday cakes have been purchased here. Their cakes are beautiful and delightful. Everything is delicious! Their glazed donut holes are like little bites of heaven! Obviously my personal favorite. Try them, you'll see. The service is wonderful too. When you go inside, take a number and browse their selections while you wait for your number to be called. It can get very busy but well worth the wait! Enjoy!

One stop here, YOU WILL COME BACK. 3/16/2019 Went to resh"s this morning. Oh my what to buy??? Got 6 Apple fritters, 6 nutty cinnomon rolls. Put them under my table top broiler. Put on a pot of home made drip coffee. (Maxwell house). Added some butter as the frosting melted away. Watched them as the walnuts and crust got oh so crunchy. Do I need to say how good this was? You try it. Mmmmmmmm yum!!!!

First time at Resch's a few months ago. My family has multiple birthday's around the same time. I got this idea from Pinterest. I called and spoke with someone about the idea. Even though it sounded complicated and I was unable to make it in person to order the cake, the gentleman on the phone was very helpful. A phone call and a couple emails later, he assured me I'd be happy with the outcome. The cake was not exactly identical to the Pinterest cake, it was better!! Cake turned out AMAZING and everyone loved it. Beautiful and delicious. I definitely recommend Resch's.

First time. NOT THE LAST ! Where do I start ? The cookies are fabulous, the donuts are fabulous, and the small cup cake type things were fabulous. The only thing that was better was the service. Impeccable !!! Someone should not only be proud of but should also pat all three of these young women on the back. They acted as if it was THIER company - which means they were professional, polite, very quick and didn't once complain or treat me as an inconvenience ( glad they have jobs here because they could never work at Tim Hortons ). Great place all together. Wish it had coffee but I'll sacrifice that for everything else.

Used to be a serious fan of this place but it has changed. Purchased the ready to go slices of cake and unless this is a different recipe than their larger cakes it was gross! Tasted like chemicals imo. Still love their stick donuts. Their chocolate raspberry Rugala (sp?) is tasty but very small for over $1 each piece and their decorative cookies cost more than Panera. They will always be tops for donuts it seems but they are no longer our go to spot for cake.

I grew up eating Resch's so I stopped by the dynamo to pick up some donuts after quite some time. I was surprisingly disappointed. $9.85 for a selection of only glazed or cake donuts for a dozen and that doesn't even include twisted glazed either. It's a shame because the donuts were just ok not great for the limited selection they offer. I'm going back to Krispy Kreme. They have better prices, selection and taste all day everyday. For the money Resch's could and should do better for their customers. They used to. I wish them the best but I won't be going back there.

The Resch's Bakery is the best around town. I have always visited this current Resch's Bakery to eat bread and separating masterminded stock. I truly love on an extremely essential dimension hanging in here drinking some coffee with a bread as a dash of knowing the past. Resch's Bakery have for each condition fresh and hot breads and warmed stock normal. They are exceptional and I adore them. Best bakeshop around the zone. They keep the coffee common and clear yet paying little respect to all that I like it. The place is moreover shocking. The scene and the smell. It genuinely purges up you when you go there. The place is in like way sensible and smooth. The staffs were astonishing. They were sensible and satisfying. As anyone may expect for a bakeshop. 5 stars for Resch's Bakery. Will truly recommend this bakeshop to my frill.

Remember that classic homespun bakery where your parents would take you on Sundays when you were a kid? That's Resch's. Baked goods are *perfect* here, and while they have their specialties, all the usual items can always be found here as well. Take a number - so good! Not even close to deprecating a well-earned star, but I've asked their helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly staff many times if they ever have rye bread. This is the real deal to know. Best bakery in Columbus. The highest quality baked goods anywhere I know. I was there before a recent Christmas there were 80+ people in line. It moves fast too. It is that good for over 127 years now. The world's best Hot Cross Buns, Pecan & cinnamon grandma rolls, Berliners, donuts cakes and rolls and salt sticks. The best of the best known anywhere to me. I am from Detroit and that is where the Nine 18' square brick 135 year old stone & bread steam injected ovens were. I know bakerys better than most anyone. This is the place to frequent.

Best d school bakery in Columbus! Ordered a 9 inch white cake with buttercream icing and 20 petit fours. Had multiple folks ask where I got the cake and petit fours. They make it the old way...icing isn't oily or weird tasting...delicious! Been frequenting this spot for 30 years and even though I moved away I ordered by phone and picked it up for my daughter's shower! The cake slid a bit..nit the bakery's fault..

Disappointed. Don’t get me wrong their donuts and cake are good, just don’t go for a specialized cake, because the can not pull through. For $64 I would expect more attention to detail, and presentation. We asked for a hippie cake with peace signs and flowers and such, and a cake that was tie-die to go with the theme. We originally wanted a two tier cake, but with only a 13 day notice (you need 14 day) they could only do two separate cakes. I have no idea why, but ok. We instead get a tie-die cake that says “happy 60th birthday mom” and the i isn’t dotted and t isn’t crossed. Looks weird but not that big. Then the second cake (the hippie one) just has 3 huge flowers on it. That’s it. I mean, maybe the workers do not know what “hippie”means, but I mean all you have to is google it. This cake looks like a Cake I could have picked up at Meijer in the bakery premade section. If all I wanted was a cake that tastes good I would have just gone to SamsClub and got one of their cakes for $20 but instead here we are, $64 gone for a non-hippie-funeral looking cake, and the other tie-die one; while it’s cute, we could have gone elsewhere. Also, the first girl I got on the phone very rudely answered “thanks for calling resch’s”. 2 stars for taste.
