My family and I were staying at one of the a Cedar Point's resorts. We enjoyed breakfast, our first meal at Cedar Point, at Perkins Restaurant. The food was prepared to our exact request and was as delicious as hoped. Our waiter , Jake was a very polite waiter. Even though he was maintaining several guests besides my family of 5, we felt like Jake's only customers. Best meal and service during our stay in Ohio.

Service was not good at all. Our meal was good when it finally arrived. It took alittle while but that wasn't bad or the problem. The Waitress seemed to have been up all night and didn't want to be there, never smiled . She just wasn't pleasant. I never got my straw that I asked for 3 different times. The kids waited for their refills that she needed reminding of several. I love Perkins and have been there many times but if this had been my first time dining there I would not return nor would I recommend it. Everybody has bad days but she should have stayed home. Sorry.

girlfriend wanted to go out for breakfast one morning so we went out and bob evans had a 2 hour wait so we went here and no regrets! the steak with mushrooms and peppers was world class. girlfriend had the pancake meal, loved it.

Food was very good, but it took forever to get it. Come to find out that the waitress didn't turn it in after she took it. They never said anything about it, but when we got the check they had taken our drinks off and again didn't say anything. I just wish that someone would have stepped up and said that they made a mistake. Accept responsibility!!!

Perkins in Ashland Ohio is a great place to eat! The staff is super friendly. Portion sizes are plenty and the prices won't pinch your pocketbook. The desserts, cookies and muffins look luscious. When you buy three you get three free.

I am not writing this review to judge their food or food service but make everyone aware of their coffee shop policy. I have eaten here before but today I only stopped by to ask for 2 empty cups. They would not give them. I told them it was for a special hot drink for my son and they said no. Then they decided to call the store manager which I didn’t ask them to do. The store manager came by and told me I can’t have any but buy them. I asked how much were they. Each was $0.99. Feeling frustrated I left. To The decision maker of this policy, listen this carefully- I was planning to eat there with 10 other people tomorrow morning and guess what we won’t eat there. Your coffee cup policy cost you a lot more in one incident!

The food was delicious (pot roast), but this particular Perkins seriously needs a facelift. The ladies' room smelled of old urine. The tables and chairs are so old that the surface finishes are with away. The exterior of the building is not speaking at all - tired looking and dirty. However, as I said, the food was good and the staff were attentive and served well.

Hours are: 7am-10pm We walked in at 9:15pm and they would NOT seat us. There were only 3 tables full in the entire restaurant. The host said they don’t seat after 9:30 so they can make sure they all get out by 10pm. We came in at 9:15 and they still wouldn’t seat the three of us. They should not put 10pm unless they mean 10pm. It should say: 7am-9pm Nowhere else to eat this time of night. Very Disappointed. POOR management here!! Extremely poor staffing! (It’s a holiday weekend with hotel at full capacity)...2-3 servers total!?

Was seated right away but then waited for service 2 hostesses at the door, I asked for coffee from 1 but they said server would be right with me..so I waited... I came in at 10am intentionally so, restaurant would not be busy.and it wasnt. I look around for the wait staff and see 5 of them standing around, I understand they are assigned tables, but where is my waitress? I wave one over and she says mine will be right with me... ok..she leaves then comes back and offers me something to drink while I wait. Yes I say! Coffee please! She apologizes for my waitress but I understand! If she's busy! ImI not upset with her, imI upset with this whole picture!!

Maddie is the best waitress I've had in a while! We came for breakfast at around 9:45. We were seated right away. The only problem throughout our entire trip here was they heard 5 instead of 9,so we were seated at 2 adjoining tables. Our waitress got our drink orders and had every single one correct. The food came promptly and correct. It tasted great. We ordered the larger meals so we could take the left overs back to our room for the next morning. Our waitress was great and brought us the to go boxes with even a side of syrup and utensils. Our drinks were never empty, and our food was all wonderful. I would definitely return and ask specifically for Maddie to be our waitress.

I stopped here for breakfast on my trip with my mom. We went in and had to wait an awkward amount of time for someone to come out of the kitchen to seat us. There were a few people in the restaurant. Maybe it was just a slow morning. The food options were looked good, and my meal was your typical breakfast-place meal. Not a bad place to stop.

I should give it 3 stars because this is a tired old location in real need of a redo. However I'd been fighting torrential ran north on I-71 for many miles, often so heavy lane markings were only a guess. When I saw Perkins next exit on a sign I gladly took refuge. The staff was great, the Cobb salad ample, the coffee good, so all in all, 4 stars.

They play wait games so be ready. I stayed at the hotel breakers and called down from the room asking about a wait. No wait and no call ahead seating -“should be able to get you in right away”. Walk down to an empty restaurant- with a 15 minute wait at 7:30am. Edit- they lied it was 30 minutes.

Place is really dirty and run down. Bathrooms are gross and not maintained. Went for lunch and did the trio soup salad and sandwiche. The chicken tortilla soup was really good but everything else was gross and looks like its sat there all day especially the salad. My daughter's chicken tenders had hair on it and the broccoli was old and had black spots all over it. My sister's salad was the same but had like 3 pieces of hard chicken on it. I definitely would not recommend to stop here at all. The services was good took a bit of time but they were busy so I'm ok with that. They took 20% off the bill which was nice but just wish I wasn't so grossed out by the food...

We'll never make that mistake again. Looking to end our stay at Hotel Breakers on a high note, but we ended up sorely disappointed. Wait time was shorter than quoted, so that was great. Ordered drinks and our meals within 10 minutes of sitting down, and the blueberry muffin came out immediately. It was a wonderful start, then quickly went south. We sat unattended for about 35 minutes with no sign of our food. The waitress reappeared with our meals, but everything was cold. Pancakes, French toast, eggs...everything our family ordered. Waitress stopped back to check on us and we let her know not one item was acceptable- she was "shocked" and apologized, though our food had to be sitting in a window for 10 minutes before getting to the table. She didn't offer to correct any of it- just claimed she talked to the manager and took a measly 15% off the check. Utterly disappointed. Walked out to the sounds of other families complaining to the staff as well. Never again.

I went to the bakery at Perkins restaurant for a french silk pie. This is one of the best pies I've ever eaten. The restaurant was quite busy. The staff helped me quickly. So, we'll have french silk pie for Christmas.

Service was frightfully slow. Food was mediocre at best (nothing was hot, marinara sauce had been sitting so long that top had congealed). Only part of the restaurant was open at 6 p.m. - Chairs were stacked on tables in the main dining area three hours before close. There was only one server for the 12 or so active tables in our area. I had asked for the check immediately when receiving our food but, after the check was dropped off, our server never came back for it, even after I made it clear that we were trying to settle the bill quickly. I went up front to pay for the bill but was told that I must pay server directly. I ended up having to track down our server at a POS terminal to pay our bill. For the prices being charged, a reasonable level of service is expected. That expectation was not met. However, I will say that the staff was friendly. They just seemed overwhelmed. Given its location inside of a popular hotel, management should consider adequate staffing.

I had the salad and chicken pot pie which also came with a piece of pie. I chose the wildberry. The salad was very plentiful with a delicious blue cheese dressing. The pot pie was made from scratch and took 20 minutes to cook but well worth the wait. The wildberry pie was just as I hoped. Berry delicious. All topped off with an never ending cup of coffee. Very filling for an inexpensive price of under 10 dollars and our waitress was superb.

We all ordered breakfast meals and we waited over an hour and still no food with no explanation so we paid for our coffees and left without dinner !!! BUT I have a shellfish allergy and they prepared my food in a skillet And my hamburger was excellent, the manager was great and my waitress was really helpful in helping me get safe food. My suggestion would be to have an area that shellfish isn't prepared to serve to us folks with shellfish allergies Or a skillet set aside just for us folks so we can enjoy all your other foods, cept shellfish items. This location being so close to the interstate I know can be busy. Our overall experience this time was alright. One of the severs had strong perfume on. When our server brought our food out, she set a hot plate directly in front of our 10 month old daughter. The food was decent.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Came in for lunch and waited over an hour for food. It wasn't busy and we only had 6 people in our party. I work in the service industry and the way the manager handle the situation I am surprised she is the manager. The server was very nice, may have been on the newer side though. I put complete blame for cold food on the kitchen and the other employees working.

Great place to eat. Food is always hot and fresh, and I like how they always have a fresh container of coffee at your table. The menu always changes and offers good choice! The Ashland exit at 71 and 250 is the best Perkins anywhere in the country!

We reviewed our credit card charges after our recent visit to Cedar Point Hotel Breakers. Perkins charged us $5.12 extra on our credit card. I called Perkins and talked with a manger and they filled out a form to investigate. They sent an email with a copy of receipt and wrote a quick note stating they were reimbursing the $5.12. No apology. Watch your receipts and credit card charges. You could be a victim and not even know it!

Went two days in a row because the service was so amazing! The first day we had Lainey as our server and she was very sweet and attentive. Next visit Cobey was our server and he was knowledgeable and kind to us as well. No complaints. Their skillets are a good go to. Wish I could’ve tried lunch but didn’t start til 11 and I got there at 10:45 bad timing.

It's ok. Service was fair seems to have newer staff. Food was about what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. Not anything to write home about but not horrible.

Went to the Perkins located inside Hotel Breakers in Sandusky Ohio inside Cedar Point Penninsula. Everything we ate was horrible. The service was sub-par. Every item was cold, butter did not melt even slightly on pancakes. 1 of our dishes even came out with a dead bug on it. No comp was offered and they bussed atleast 2 full dishes with 1 bite taken from the meal.
