I tried to order my mom a beach cake over a week in advance. She's been giving me the run around for 4 days now. I've emailed multiple times and have been promised a quote everyday, yet still to receive one. She is closed Sunday and Monday, and I need the cake Wednesday. So I've been given the run around and now have no one to make it. VERY upset. Wouldn't recommend it.

Patricia created our daughter's wedding cake completely custom according to what our daughter described to her. It was beautiful and absolutely AMAZING!! Sooo many compliments on the cake. Patricia even created a custom flavor for our daughter, per her request. Looking forward to their free 1 yr anniversary cake!

We used them for our wedding and some other occasions since. The cakes are the best but they are bad at timing. The wedding cake showed up 12 minutes before we walked in the room instead of 2 hours as scheduled, and each event cake after has been ready after scheduled time.

The cake was delivered over 3 hours late and we were given no apology whatsoever, otherwise I'd be giving a 5 star rating. My husband and I had an unusual design plan for our wedding cake and in our initial meeting with Patricia, we were very concerned about whether or not she "got it." It turned out that she did, and the cake was beautiful and delicious and exactly what we wanted...except that it was late. It was supposed to be delivered at 11:30am and didn't show up until nearly 3pm after our photographer tracked down Patricia's cell phone number for us. We nearly had to send somebody out to Kroger's for cake and were definitely stressing over it, so it was a huge relief when it finally did arrive. Bottom line: I would use Patricia's again only for a low stress occasion when the timing of delivery doesn't matter at all.

****10/22/18 UPDATE***** Google Maps was kind enough to remind me of my below original review and said it was "helping people" I was quickly reminded how difficult Patricia personally made our wedding day. Below is my complete and original review from years ago. I have tremendous respect for people who run small businesses. However when they do it beyond poorly I feel the need to tell others in this community as I rely on reviews at times when making a decision. I cannot reiterate enough that I would not recommend Patrica to my worst enemy. She called my wife a liar and insulted her on the morning of our wedding. That is unacceptable and show's her true colors. ORIGINAL REVIEW - "Patricia called my wife the morning of our wedding and explained that she would not be delivering the cake to the reception hall. Her reasoning was that my wife did not tell her it was for a wedding. (We lived in AZ at the time and my wife planned the whole OH wedding over the phone) When I called to resolve the miscommunication she accused my wife of being a liar and intentionally hiding that it was a wedding to save money. I tried to reason with her and even offered to pay the additional charges. Ultimately I had to drive to the store myself to pick up the cake and deliver to my own reception hours before the wedding. Patricia was beyond rude and unprofessional. I will never use or recommend Patricia again."

The nicest owner, said she will take care of us and she understood what my daughter wanted. We gave her a picture of what the cake should look like, the only difference was the color. Well, the cake tasted great, but instead of an ambre cake fading turquoise, aqua and white we got a green cake for my daughters wedding day. I almost feel no cake would have been better.

I was so impressed with my cake for my early October wedding. The flowers were placed perfectly on top. Everyone at the wedding complimented our cake’s taste and presentation. I really liked that when we made our first cut in to the cake our knife cut right through the special cake ribbon so it was not messy. My favorite layer was the caramel cake with caramel liqueur cream filling. We also had vanilla cake with strawberry cream and a chocolate layer with Irish cream filling. With cakes over a certain price you have the option of choosing a discount or a recreation of your top cake layer for your first year anniversary. I chose to have my top layer in a year and I can’t wait, I almost asked if I could have the cake for my first week anniversary lol I love Patricia’s cakes so much! I would highly recommend this cake shop.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I called about doing a custom birthday cake and went to place the order and we sat there for 25 minutes and had to ask someone to place the order. We were then told we would be called with pricing and finalization the next day and never happened. I called an left a message and never got a return phone call. Needless to say I'm taking my business elsewhere, because the cakes we tasted weren't even worth the money we probably would have spent and the service was the worst I've ever had.

Unreal cakes! Imagine a great tasting cake that leaves an impression at a wedding. Then imagine for the same price as Costco/local bakery etc. you can have an expert baker make you a cake for any event. I just picked up a birthday cake for my wife that was on the same scale as a TV wedding cake for around $35. No one was willing to cut the cake because it was such a work of art. The taste is divine. Look at all the positive reviews and compare that with the negative reviews. The negatives seem like they are special people. I called on monday afternoon for a pickup on Wed at 2pm. I thought for sure they were going to say no but it was ready exactly at 2pm and again, absolutely incredible. Sorry Costco, Kroger and every other local bakery, this is now my go to for EVERYTHING cake. Just imagine, the same bakers that make $900 wedding cakes can make a $35 cake for your event. If you visit their showroom, you will see displays that rival the cake shows you see on TV. THANK YOU!!!!!

She is the Betty White of the Cake World, calls you "Sweetie" and gives you relationship advice after your consultation. So already you know that you are in good hands. When you go in for your meeting you get to taste each cake flavor and filling, NEVER HAVE I EVER TASTED CAKE THIS DELICIOUS!!!! If you don't want to commit to a meeting just yet, Patricia always has samples in her shop. She has been in this industry for decades and knows what looks and tastes good, she takes pride in her cakes and she has a heart of gold!! Tips: Call her! Emailing can take a bit longer to get a response especially in the "Cake Business" where everything is go-Go-GO! If you go through Patrica you will also get a complementary anniversary cake for your One Year in the same flavors as your wedding cake. Also, if you get married at The Savannah Center on a Friday or Sunday, you get a FREE Patricia Cake. This will save you upwards of $1,000 and you have the options of 13 styles with your choice of flavors. If your still not convinced you need to try her homemade butter cream, that'll get ya!
