Food for the most part was Good, Offered us as a group unlimited fish and allowed us to pack a good amount for home. Also, the waiters were so nice and considerate. Overall, great experience and worthwhile

Two words Cobb Salad. So very good and fresh. I was very happy with it. My kids got the Tilapia kids meals, unfortunately they didn't like it at all, so we will try something different for them next time, but the salad covered for that with me.

I don't get the hype here. Grumpy people that work there and food sucks. Cashier both times I went was nothing short of rude. Only saving grace was both times the girl in the dining room (besides being slow) was friendly but not enough to warrant anything above a one star and that is more than this over priced hobo kitchen deserves.

This place was excellent. My mother's funeral was on May 25th. We brought the people from the church there for dinner. We had the committal service on Tuesday after Memorial Day. We brought family and friends MCL again. We received an awesome rate for this dinner. My brother spoke with management prior to arrival oh, and we were given a great rate. Thank you MCL. Thank you again. Thank you again.

If you're nostalgic for the high school cafeteria where the food is styled toward a bland palate and a beige atmosphere, this is the place for you. If you want flavor I'd advise bringing a bottle of your favorite hot sauce.

Ok, I am not gay but, they have this girl working the cash register that Hollywood or NYC is missing out on. Food was great btw.. and the service was excellent. Not too loud and nice soft music playing. Very clean. Beware of supermodel! I told her to try to seek out a model career. She is prettier than pretty!

Did takeout on last visit. Could not ask for better or faster service. Food was good but roast beef was fatty. Not sure if these was a one time thing but we had two meals both with fatty beef which did make it hard to fully enjoy. We would go back because they food is tasty and good value. Dessert was very good.

I've come here over the years with my grandparents. They are all gone now but my mom and I stopped the other day. The food has always been good and you won't leave hungry. I feel it's a little pricey though but that won't stop me from returning some day.

Wow, just ordered the veggie soup and the pecan pie because I’m home and sick, and wanted something home cooked—the soup is excellent. Best veggie soup I’ve ever had, rich and savory. The pie is melty perfection. Give this place a shot, Dayton!

Where else can you feed a family of 4 non-fast food for $24.47?!?! Monday- Wednesday kids eat free + Mom & Dad get the Blue Plate Special + drinks for all and we know our total is going to be $24.47! The food is good - even the meatloaf & I am NOT a meatloaf person! The size of the Blue Plate is filling & the kids meals are a good portion too. When you're on a budget it's wonderful to know exactly what your cost will be for a home cooked quality meal. Mind you we skip the desserts - which are tempting & have been delicious when we've had them - but our tummies are full & our waistlines don't need any more inches so all is great!

Very nice, clean restaurant, with very nice wait staff. it is an alicart restaurant there for you have a lot of dishes on your tray, however there is waitstaff who will be more than happy to carry your tray to your table. A great place for Sunday after church meal.

I get the sense that the quality of the food isn't as good as it once was. The lasagna looked very dry and the stuffed chicken breast was dry. The mashed potatoes were not firm at all and clearly made from instant flakes.The dinner rolls were almost crushed looking so I passed it by. The chocolate cake was moist and tasty but the size of the serving was disappointing.

It's was like I remembered from the Salem Mall MCL location back in the days when I was a kid growing up in Dayton. Clean surroundings and familiar smells. I felt as though I was about to get on a ride at Kings Island. The first thing you do is step up to the front of the line and grabb your napkin wrapped silverware, then I placed my plastic cafeteria food tray on the stainless steel support rails and away you go into "Food-Ville! " I was immediately transported back in time. As we slid past the windows of various steamy comfort foods I found myself overwhelmed at all of the yummy starters. The awaiting staff quickly snap you back on track to place your order and glide you along. It takes discipline to not let your eyes eat more than your stomach can handle. It's like sliding past a Thanksgiving Dinner table of heavenly food that your relatives love to serve you. The process was so familiar, the food was comforting, warm and soft. The staff are very attentive, professional and friendly. Went there for my Mother's 80th Birthday party. Perfect atmosphere for her event.

My kid ate here with grandparents and wanted to come back as he liked the fried chicken. I agreed to check it out and got him two fried chicken pieces (dark meat) with two hot sides meal (should be on one plate not as pictured) with cinnamon bun and watermelon (see the picture), no drinks. I was stunned that it cost over $15 for a cafeteria style meal!! I personally haven't tried any food here as it didn't look appealing to me, sorry.

Great cafeteria style place. Mostly older ppl come here. The food is good. Great Harvard beets on the menu. Servers greet you with a smile. Was quite busy on Friday evenings. Only one in Montgomery area and that's in Kettering on Far Hills Rd. Not to far from David Rd.

My husband loves this place. He use to go with his parents and he couldn't wait to take me and my parents. The atmosphere is nice, the decor is nice, the bathrooms are clean, and the food is excellent! It is a 50 minute ride from our house and it is worth every minute. I love to see his face when we pull up, it's like his childhood comes back to him all over again!
