A great stop if you are here visiting or passing through. Excellent customer service in a nice store. Great selection of fresh items. The raspberry horn is really sweet but good. Schnecken Coffee Cake is incredible. Can't go wrong with some of their milk to wash it down. After or before make sure and hop across the street for some cheese, meat and other great items

This place has unique snacks and drinks if you're looking for something different. They have vanilla-butterscotch covered peanuts (something like that), 20 different kinds of cream soda, bacon covered donuts, and lots more! They give free samples too

This bakery sits across from the Heini's Cheese factory. This bakery has samples that you can try yourself of bread and even some cracker varieties. They have a deli section of sandwiches to eat while there. They have pies there, too.

Not a bad place to stop Donuts were very good and fresh however it is very difficult to sit down and enjoy a sandwich or snack the tables are arranged terrible and people are constantly bumping into you need a bigger place or somewhere else to put people when they are trying to eat lunch you feel like you're sitting in the middle of a store

Kaufman's Bakery is a lovely little surprise with not only a large and delicious selection of baked goods (many of which one can sample), but also an ice cream parlor that includes smoothies, and they serve grilled paninis, too! Apple Pie purchased at Kauffman's Country Bakery was cut into 6 pieces. Each piece had 1 to 2 slices of apple in it. The rest was filled with apple & cinnamon flavored thickened syrup, First ingredient on the label states "apples". In my opinion this is not an apple pie

Excellent donuts... When you can get service, that is. Too many times I have gone in only to be ignored by the Amish girls behind the counter talking amongst themselves. Just now, 4 people behind the counter and no other customers being assisted. They just stood there talking to each other. Not so much as a simple, "Hey, we'll be right with you" to acknowledge my presence. It's a shame because they are great donuts. Edit: Yes, I was noticed when I was 10 feet away from the display case as I was heading out the door. Not while I was standing directly in front of the employees within touching distance of the display case they were behind.

The donuts were fine , but the costumer service was awful . The cashier had an very clear attitude and foul looks on her face as soon as we entered the store . She also tried to charge my boyfriends card twice . She swiped it the first time then threw away the receipt saying it was denied . she asks for his card again it worked and we left. My boyfriends card has never been denied before, so i told him he should check his account to make sure they didn't charge him twice . And surprise , the first transaction was in fact not denied like the cashier had told us . He called and got it all figured out , thank you for that , but that's not the point . The point it is it felt personal. The cashier flat out lied to us. I don't know if its a race thing ( me and my boyfriend being an interracial couple ) or they just scam people like this all the time . Whatever the case may be, if you have to swipe your card twice check your bank account before you leave. writing from my boyfriends account bc I don't have one - Janae' M
