Ordered a dozen for my girlfriend's birthday and she absolutely fell in love with them!! Moist and succulent, yet not filling. I ordered the gold and roses and they were delicious. The buttercream frosting makes them what they are, which is great!! Also delivered on time and was notified when on the way. Great customer service!!

Fate Cakes went above and beyond for us! We wanted the cupcakes we ordered to be delivered to my sister-in-law's work address. We didn't know she would be leaving work early, though! In addition to notifying me of the problem, Marie was able to track my sister-in-law down and change the delivery to her home address. The cupcakes were delivered in time to her and our future brother-in-law (he just got back from Afghanistan), and they can't say enough about how delicious they are!! I am so impressed by their professionalism and sense of commitment. You've got yourself a repeat customer! Thanks again!!

About 7 years ago, we found Fate Cakes. We needed a large amount of cupcakes for my sons party. They were the most beautiful, delicious cupcakes! 7 years later, my son graduated high school, and we ordered gorgeous chocolate covered pretzel sticks in the school colors for the party. They were a huge hit! Not only is everything beautiful and delicious, but the personal service we received, prompt response, and also the delivery of the goods, can not be beat!! They have excellent customer service and the fact that you can have cupcakes delivered to your door is extremely handy. I contacted Fate Cakes about creating a special cake for our company's 35th anniversary. They made some great suggestions about how to implement the design I had in mind and other changes to make the cake more dynamic. The cake was delivered to us on time on the day of the party, and they completely nailed every design element. It was also very delicious, and we all enjoyed it over the next two days as we had quite a bit left over! I would definitely recommend them for a yummy and fun cake.

I had to order last minute cupcakes for my sister's birthday, and was out of online delivery places. I called at 1:30, and they were able to delivery freshly made cupcakes that evening to her house. I live out of town, and always wonder what I order for people look like, be it flowers or cupcakes, as well as when it actually arrived. To my shock, Fate Cakes called me after they delivered them AND sent me an email with a photo of the cupcakes they delivered, with handwritten note!! (I hate when you get flowers and the letter is typed.) According to my family, they taste amazing as well. I highly suggest this bakery. Thanks, guys!

We just finished celebrating my mother's and her twin brother's 90th birthday. It was an absolute pleasure working with Marie and all the people at Fate Cakes. We custom-designed a two-tier cake over the phone and email (as I'm not in Ohio), that absolutely delighted the birthday twins, and everyone at the party. Throw in a gluten-free cake, a smaller birthday cake for a cousin also celebrating her birthday the same day, and a couple dozen cake pops, and Fate Cakes played a major role in our party. Wonderful company. I messed up the delivery date for my daughter's party when I ordered online. They were so nice about fixing my errror. We ended up deciding to deliver them to my husband's work, so they had to take them back to take the alcohol off of the cupcakes then deliver to his work. They then only charged me half price for my daughter's party which is the following week. I don't know of another business that would work with you like that when it's your error, not theirs. I would highly recommend them. My husband said the 5 dozen cupcakes were gone within 45 seconds at his work!

I've ordered custom cookies from Fate Cakes twice now and the service and products are absolutely fantastic! The cookies are not only beautifully crafted and designed, but are actually delicious too! I've gotten cookies created for a Bachelorette Party and Baby Shower and I couldn't be happier. For the minimum order of 24 custom cookies, the price is a little high, but I truly believe they are worth it for any special event. I love the personal delivery of the cookies to me, and the email communication with Marie is very convenient and easy. 5 stars all around - I highly recommend Fate Cakes to anyone in the Columbus area!

The owner has such a passion for what she does! She went above and beyond to make sure that everything went perfectly at our wedding reception. We did a 2 tier cake for immediate family and an assortment of cupcakes for our guests. The display was gorgeous! The cake was delicious! It was so light and fluffy and the buttercreme frosting is incredible! We heard so many compliments from our guests! My mom even popped up at my house the next day in search of more cake LOL I would definitely recommend booking her for your special occasion, I would give 10 stars if I could!

Ordered a custom fire truck cake month ago. The staff is really really really patient as we spent like literally an entire afternoon texting and discussing the details and they even list out choices they can do that best fit my budget. Cake is really good too my brother loved it. The price is cheap compared to others as I asked another store where they tripled the price on the same design of the cake.

I reached out to “Fate Cakes” for some of the desserts because of so many positive reviews and there beautiful website. Let me tell you, I’m so very happy I did. Aside from the items I chooses being very reasonably priced. And the decorated items being perfect. The taste was amazing!!! I ordered 3 dozen cake pops and I should have ordered more! The red velvet cake pops are absolutely incredible! I also had custom whale cookies made with my sons name on them. Those where also a wonderful tasty treat. Marie was outstanding! Ordered a custom cake. They sent an invoice which, unfortunately, I missed in my inbox. Rather than call/email/text me to remind me they decided to cancel the order, which really put me in a bind. I definitely made a mistake by missing an email, but relying on a single PayPal Invoice two weeks before a party isn't really anyone's definition of great communication.
