What an extraordinary gift to Cincinnati! Needing to eat gluten free since 2010 has been an interesting challenge but certainly not a flavorful one. When I read about Cherbourg Bakery, I was eager to try it. Quite frankly, their strawberry scones, lemon bars, and muffins are better than anything I've ever eaten from the very best of Cincinnati bakeries. Flavor, texture, moisture content, all perfection! Whether a person needs to be gluten-free or not, they will be stunned by how delicious Cherbourg bakery's offerings are. I would highly encourage the city to allow the stores to have better signage for the new Merchants opening up on Race Street across from Findlay Market. I understand the need for historic preservation but if the city wants growth, they are going to have to make it easier for patrons to find the merchants whom they are seeking.

Amazing food!! I have a friend with Celiac disease and cannot eat out at too many places due to cross contamination. Here we do not have to worry about her getting ill and quality is out of this world. I tried a bite of the Coffee Doughnut and it was like a fresh espresso shot, tiramisu and a doughnut had a had baby and that baby was joyfully giggling in my mouth. It was SOOO good, I went and bought the remaining doughnuts for my friend to take home. Also tried the banana doughnut, chocolate chip cookie and Jalapeno bread. Each item was top noch in taste and we were only disappointed we did not have a soup or chili to go with our bread. Cannot wait to go back!! Yum

Apparently this place is entirely Gluten Free, but I feel that wasn't very clear from the name / signage, so I wasn't expecting GF everything. As a result I was a bit disappointed in my selections. They seemed very well made and I'm sure GF people would probably enjoy the items here very much, but as a non-GF person I can't say this was a compelling argument for me to go GF. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly, but the GF baked goods just didn't do it for me

My fiance needed a place to get sweets that were gluten free and didn't use yeast in their products. We looked online and she found this place. The young lady working walked us through what she could and couldn't eat. She was in heaven. This is her new favorite spot and we are going to check to see if they can ship out of state. My fiance hasn't had a good cupcake or cookie in years. This is a must visit.

Parking can be a pain if you go on the weekend, which is when I have typically gone. Most of the reviews seem to be raving because they are able to finally eat anything on the menu but seeing Cincinnati has minimal choices for gluten free bakeries I feel the reviews are skewed. The baked goods are hit and miss, some better than others but it seems to vary day to day. I have found a lot of items to be dry and fall apart very easily. Taste wise most the time it is okay, it satisfies your craving but doesn't leave you wanting more. I have had many gluten free bakeries but this one is mediocre over all but seeing the lack of gluten free choices in Cincinnati, beggars can't be choosers.

Delicious! They have great gluten free pastries. Lots of options. You can come for breakfast and be full. Also if you are gluten free, there is no where else in the city that you can get breakfast from under $10. A bright and open environment. The bathroom has a changing table, but don't bring your stroller unless you have two people with you. There are stairs upfront.

Larger than the Columbus location (in seating and menu options), Cherbourg Cincinnati is a delicious and cheerful spot for gluten & nut-free baked goods. All of the usual sweets are available here, including the s’mores bars, lemon bars, blueberry muffins and donuts. Quiches, strada and the delicious shakshuka with tomato and peppers topped with a scrambled egg, cheese and eggs (served in a scalding hot skillet) are great breakfast options. Add a big mug of Deeper Roots pour-over coffee and Cherbourg is a great stop for breakfast before a day at Findlay Market or in OTR.

Cold snowy day today and Joel and I have this ritual of walking at least 4 miles on Sunday’s. We decided to walk to Findlay Market and it was beautiful four mile walk. The reward was to have breakfast at Cherbourg on Race Street. Run by women and incredibly tasty sweet desserts and savories. Made with gluten free Fresh ingredients. Was worth the walk. Definitely stop there and eat in or take out.

Right across from Findlay Market...easy to find and get to from our hotel in the Central Business District. Totally delicious food and the coffee is fantastic! Finally delicious donuts that I can eat that don’t weigh as much as a brick:)

Very friendly people! Super safe for anyone gluten-sensitive or celiac, and you can’t even tell the difference between anything they offer (which is all completely gluten and nut free) and regular baked goods. A must go.

My wife is gluten intolerant, so birthdays and such leave her either feeling badly for eating regular desserts or having to forego. I ordered some cupcakes and smores bars, and they were all delicious! I highly recommend this to everyone, whether your diet is typically gluten free or not. The smores in particular are phenomenal - I have no dietary restrictions and I plan to order more in the future - they were better than most wheat-based desserts. Highly recommended!

Everything is gf and nut free. Staff very knowledgeable about ingredients. Such a wonderful variety, probably 30 different items to choose from. Had savory and sweet, including donuts, lemon bars, quiche, croissants, Dutch apple bars, scones, pie, and many others. Prices were good, especially for gluten free baking. Ordered 7 items to share = $18 dollars

The cakes I bought were very nice, so was the service. My one criticism is just that the lack of any labels on their products makes for an extremely inefficient ordering process, as every customer has to ask a whole buch of questions before they can order.
