Great spot to grab coffee and chat with friends. The Gluten-free pastries are amazing. This visit I had a blueberry muffin -- always a good choice. BUT, it isn't a quick stop. The pour-over coffee took forever -- as in 15 mins before we got our coffee. Love it, but only stop when I have plenty of time to wait.

I recently went gluten free and with my husband's birthday party looming ahead, I wanted an option so that I would have a treat when everyone else was enjoying cake. I got the s'mores bar and the lemon bar. DELICIOUS. Truly. The tart-sweet ratio in the lemon was was amazing and I couldn't tell that the "crust" was gluten-free. 4 starts just because there weren't that many options to choose from when I went in (no cookies or cupcakes out which is really why I came in) and I didn't receive a true greeting of any sort. Usually small, local shops have super friendly employees. Anyhow, I digress. Gluten-free people, when you are looking for a treat, try this bakery!

After being diagnosed with Celiacs I thought that delicious baked goods were no longer at my disposal. The desserts here are amazing!! I think that the best brownie that I have had in my life came from here ( the espresso brownie) and I do not even like coffee. I also have been converted to a frosting fan since coming here. The frosting is amazing. Right now I want to eat a whole tub of it. Anyways this place is amazing. Everyone is nice and trust me the desserts are worth every cent! Also the peace of mind that the entire bakery is gluten-free is great!

I have absolutely no idea why it has taken me so long to write a review of Cherbourg Bakery. It is 27 miles from my home but it is a definite destination stop for me! I have a daughter-in-law who is gluten free and she told me about Cherbourg Bakery. I've been using them for years to purchase gluten free savories and goodies to serve when she is at our home. Every single item we've ever ordered is absolutely delicious and I dare those of you who can eat either way to taste test and pick the gluten free over the regular. My absolute favorite are the Black Tie Cupcakes. I'm preparing a triffle to serve at Christmas this year and I'm so excited to know they have gluten free madelines I can use instead of lady fingers!

This place is amazing! My best friend has a SEVERE nut allergy and hasn't been able to step foot in most restaurants let know a BAKERY for the last 25 years. She came to visit me here in Columbus, and I was fretting about places to take her where she would feel comfortable eating. THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT! A totally quaint bake-shop where they make the goodies right in front of you. Everything is gluten-free, nut-free and dye-free, so anyone can enjoy their delicious treats! The owner was there and came to our table to see how we liked everything. She told us her story, and we could tell she has a true passion for what she does. Her staff reflected that passion as well with knowledge about the product and the bakery's mission. Such a cute little place for an afternoon cup of coffee and treat for ANYONE! Thank you for providing such an important niche service!

I don't think I would call myself a foodie but if I hear about a local bakery, I am going to check it out. This is the first fully gluten free bakery I have found in Columbus and they are a must stop spot for a tasty treat. I was recommended that S'more bar and it was decadent, chewy, and to die for. If you are unfortunately gluten intolerant, celiacs, or just wanting to try a tasty new bakery, this spot is for you.

I was introduced to this bakery at the recommendation of a friend. The first impression are that it is quaint inside, great smelling and the staff are smil8ng and like what they do. The staff is also very knowledgeable about their goodies and eagerly want to explain every item to you so you can make the best selection for yourself. The bakery chalk board and staff clearly state they never use nuts and everything is gluten free. I had the carrot cake "twinkie" filled with cream cheese. It was absolutely delicious. They make a similar version in zucchini bread. My friend had their top seller, the blueberry muffin which she enjoyed immensely. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely come back to try another delightful treat! I highly recommend Cherbourg Bakery in Bexley, Ohio.

Gluten-free Cherbourg Bakery has a dear place in my heart. When I began visiting Geri and her crew, I would order coffee and a savory square of egg strata, or one of Cherbourg's divine cinnamon and sugar doughnuts, or a s'more brownie (OMG), or blueberry muffin or chocolate doughnut. Over the years, I have since befriended the majority of the staff. Once upon a time, I would pick up 3 dozen eggs and Hartzler's Non-Homogenized Whole Milk. Once upon a time, I was a frequent customer; now, my visits are occasional. Times change, but the satisfaction of Cherbourg's gluten-free treats does not. This morning I had the pleasure of savoring one of Cherbourg's doughnuts. I shook my Hartzler's, pushed the top off, stuck a knife in, to clear the cream from the top. I took this cream and applied it to the top of my cup, poured the milk, broke a morsel off my doughnut, and swiped the cream off the cup with said cinnamon and sugar doughnut. I repeated these steps until the cup was cream free. It was a visceral experience. Heavenly. It was so delicious, I had to type this about it. It was THAT satisfying. That doughnut. I have not visited Cherbourg's Cincinnati location. I'm sure it is delightful, too.

Wide variety of yummy gluten free baked goods, however, very abrasive staff. All stood around when we entered, no greeting, no one asked us what they could get us. Very short when answering questions, i guess they had better things to do. When handed our coffee she said "here" and placed it with the lid only half on and then walked away, no thanks have a nice day or anything.

I recently had some carrot cake from Cherbourg's. It was one of the most amazing cakes I've ever had. It was only AFTER I was raving about how delicious it was that I was informed it was gluten and nut free. I was FLOORED. I would not have even tried it because gluten-free baked goods have a reputation for being, well, cardboard. This cake was anything BUT! I do not have any dietary condition that requires me to eat gluten-free, but I will be going back just because the quality is so good. Last night I went into the store for the first time, the ladies behind the counter and in the kitchen were so friendly and very helpful. I purchased four of their citrus/lavender muffins. Honestly, so delicious and moist. I *WILL* be returning soon.

Completely gluten-free, nut free bakery with a delightful vibe and incredible dark roast coffee. Staff was friendly, cheerful, and prompt. Although the space is small, it didn't feel overcrowded or cramped. There is 2 hours street parking on weekdays and it's a great place to meet up for coffee and snacks! I can't wait to go again!

I don't tend to seek out gluten free, but love so many of the baked goods here that I do make the trip when I can. The black tie cupcake, blueberry muffins, and lemon bars are all delicious. It's a nice option, being nut free, as well as I have a child with tree nut allergies and I don't have to worry here.

Fantastic! We visited the bakery for the first time this past Sunday. With my son having a tree nut allergy, he never has the option of eating anything from a bakery. It was the best feeling to walk in the store and tell him that he could have anything he wanted! The girl behind the counter was so friendly and sweet to take the time to explain everything. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious! And the coffee was so good! My son loved it so much he told me to go on a leave a 5 star review for the bakery :) Wished we lived closer the the bakery, but whenever we visit Columbus, we will definitely be back and stock up on goodies to take with us!
