Today was my first time visiting Maddie Cakes. I was greeted upon walking in, even though they were also helping customers at the counter. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful the whole time I was there. I had the chicken salad lunch special and it was delicious. The environment and decor were also super cool and laid back. I will be visiting again when I come to town again!

Love this place! I was in Advance, NC today and was looking for a coffee shop. I found Maddie's as I was looking around. I had a coffee and a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing. It was "out of this world". I love the atmosphere too. Lots of comfy seating, home style dining tables and board games. Great quaint place to relax and treat yourself to some goodies!!! I wish there were more places like Maddie's.

Such a cool place! Great to get a sweet or a coffee or smoothie and catch up with friends. Comfy chairs as well as tables and chairs available and very kid friendly as well. There is a game cabinet! Will definitely be back. Also, the cheesecake was delicious.

Another wonderful experience at Maddie Cakes!! Such a wonderful place, I don't think they make anything less than delicious on everything they make. Personally I think it is impossible to have a negative experience here! It is my 7 year old daughter's favorite place to go, it is extremely kid friendly! I cant help but write a gleaming review for this place everytime I sit down in it, nor can I recommend it enough.

First visit to this hidden gem! Many options for food and coffee, relaxed atmosphere with attractive, baking-related decor, and plenty of seating for groups or solo stops. There was a knitting group there when I stopped in, indicating their interest in the community. Will definitely be back.

Maddie Cakes is an excellent place to stop in for a coffee and quiche with friends or a sweet treat with your kids. Everything is delicious and the ambiance is warm and welcoming just like Maddie and her staff. There is plenty of seating and also fun little games you can play with your kids while you enjoy your treats - my daughter and I have been known to have a bananagrams throw down or two in the past!

They know how to make treats! You would think a pecan pie cheesecake would be Overkill but nope, she knows that fine line between sweet and oh that's SWEET. I had them make for me pecan pie cheesecake, pumpin cheesecake, pumpkin pie and brownies for Thanksgiving. All of the dessert were a hit. No joke. If your eating your yummies there, the place is a very comfortable hang out with tables and chairs, couches, childrens toys. It's just a very nicely decorated backery.
