Service is slow, the staff spends more time talking to each other an not waiting on customers. The sweet potato biscuits use to be great but now they crumble and the egg/meat fall on the plate. Lunches aren't much better! It has gotten so bad we have stopped going.

Food is always pretty good. But the staff quality seems to be going down hill. When we got our drinks there was part of the tea maker sitting in the drain of the soda machine and I saw 3 employees tending the area and not one of them addressed it being in the way of the sodas. After about 10 people struggled to get their sodas the owner finally walked over and moved the part away. It shows no once cares quite like the owners. Also, the girl usually working the front register has no personality or sincerity about her. Especially when my food was made wrong she didn’t even apologize.

This is a local favorite! If you are on your way to the beach, this is the place to get breakfast. They specialize in sweet potato-based confections, like sweet potato biscuits and sweet potato pecan cinnamon rolls. You can even get bacon, egg, and cheese sweet potato biscuits! The prices are really good too - a lot of food for what you pay.

The owner bought a set of tires from us and invited us to his shop. I was not very interested because it is a two hour drive for me there and back. But I tell you what it was worth every mile! That is the BEST biscuit I've ever eaten. The sweet potato biscuit is so moist and the sausage tastes sooo good. The next time you want some good food made fresh by so good people this is where you need to go. I made the trip and I'm going back this Thursday.

Belcross Bake Shoppe is one of the greatest hidden gems around. Nothing compares to a bacon, egg, and cheese on a sweet potato biscuit. Then stop by for a club sandwich for lunch! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants!
