The lady’s in the bakery made my daughter the most beautiful birthday cake and they were so kind and helpful!! They ran out of the toy that was originally for my cake and still provided us with a beautiful crown and wand my daughter loved it and it was DELICIOUS great cakes and great service to go along with it

The Super Stop & Shop on Northern Boulevard and 48th Street, Long Island City, is simply the best supermarket in the reason. A unsurpassed selection at popular prices awaits. There is ample rooftop parking and it is served by the Q66 and Q104 bus lines. The 46th Street subway station (M&R) is nearby.

Stop & Shop is a grocery store I buy most of my vegetables, because of the freshness and the prices. What takes me every week to Stop & Shop is the fresh bread and some goodies baked daily in their own bakery. And what about the roasted and fried chicken? There are many things which make me to go there every week. Sometimes twice a week. How can I forget the savings when you use your Stop & Shop card on items on sale or purchase with the coupons. The savings are great.

Huge selection of food. Veggies and fruits really fresh. Always great deals, and the store is spotless. Most importantly, customer service is outstanding. Staffs are extremely helpful and friendly, and I hope they are acknowledge for their effort. Stafs surely carry with proud the stop & shop shirt slogan. I indeed have a great shopping experience at this store. Whoever is overseen this store is doing a terrific job. Each staff should pad themselves in the back for a job well done.

The selection is great, but they always figure out a way to screw you on the sale items...Aside from that, the bottle recycling area has a stench reminiscent of death and Ebola, and most of the staff doesnt do their job...LOVE THE SELECTION

Large grocery store with free rooftop parking (and a great skyline view). This is pretty close to a suburban grocery store -- all your name brands, full deli counter, wide meat and dairy selection, in-store bakery, etc. Prices are mostly competitive, though not when it comes to produce -- you'll do much better at the smaller neighborhood groceries. They have a large line of store-brand organics, which is very competitively priced.

Large and convenient rooftop parking with great views of Manhattan. Very large store with big and easy to navigate aisles. Great selection. Prices aren't the best but it's a nice break from the usually tiny supermarkets you find in NYC.

No shopping carts available. One of the managers very disrespectful. Questioned me about bags in a rude manner, when I pointed at the cashier who confirmed the purchase. When I told him it would of been nice to apologize for his mistake. He just rudely made a noise smirked and kept walking.

I just really feel the need to take the time to leave a glowing positive review of this Stop Shop location. I do not know who runs this place but please promote them. Also all the way down to the cashiers incredibly helpful, nice. Really a wonderful experience. Little things like pointing out coupons I was not aware of and telling me enough time to have my wife go get a item that may have been missed. The cashiers even in past given me coupons to help out along with scan a card if I forgot my card that day. I am really grateful to. Have such a great group of people working there. As you can see from my other reviews I can be picky but this place really is the best and am lucky this Stop and Shop is closest to me. Thank you all, I know the pay may not be the best for what you men and woman do but know that there are people out there that are very grateful.

Clean supermarket with wide aisles. Must check expiration dates. At 5pm on Friday, only 2 registers open for shoppers with many products. Used automated check out but every few products scanned you had to stop go to the Bell move then and start to pack them before you can continue on. It took longer than it should have including bagging your own groceries which is not worth any savings because you lose time. But I do like their in house lines very much.

I get very frustrated shopping here. About 76% of the time there are no shopping carts in the store, and often when there are some they are broken. The items advertised on sale are often un-stocked. The women's bathroom is old and gross. Items that I purchased before are frequently discontinued by the store. It's not all bad, but I never leave without feeling frustrated and I always have to go elsewhere to finish my shoppong.

Overall an adequate supermarket. Produce trends expensive and there are commonly out of stock conditions in multiple departments. When there on a Tuesday - no bananas, only one of the on sale special k' s available and only three of approximately 6 almond milk variants. Has happened to me other times as well.

Stop & Shop is convenient and great when they have a sale. The supermarket is clean and tidy; there's a nice smell of rotisserie towards the back where they sell to-go meals (decently priced). They also have self service checkouts, which are great since the staff kind of work slow. Friendly, but slow.

Too often cans and bottles cannot be returned due to machine problems for patrons. Non patrons seem to always have lots of machines that work and have tons of cans and bottles to return. Shelves are usually stocked so that is a plus. This particular store used to be much better.

Good price on milk. Produce is very good and fresh when shipment comes in, but is picked clean very quickly. Seems like new produce shipment only once a week. Similarly their regular items runs out quickly and is not restocked often.

Great shopping spot, the savings are tremendous especially when you're shopping for a family. The only negative I would say is the size of their carts(too small if you're doing a big shopping) and not enough when busy.

There's never any shopping carts downstairs! I always end up taking the elevator back up to the parking lot to find one myself. The deli selection is pretty extensive but I feel like they should have more people working in the deli on weekends when it gets busy.

Good variety of different brands at fair pricing. The location off Northern Boulevard is a less desirable place. Parking garage on top floor had a car that was set on fire so looks like no being monitored. Elevators were dirty and smelly. Very poor up keep.

It looks like this location (which I often visit) and three other location in Queens seldom carry Sourdough bread. If it is a good seller, hasn't someone in bakery realized it and made the decision to bake more of it. Just a little common sense.

Very good deals, especially on soft drinks. Usually 10 for $10 on a lot of things, which is a great value. The meat department accommodates with cutting the meat how you want as well. Plus there's rooftop parking and nearby a whole variety of stores.

There are far better Stoppies, but this is one of the closest to the city. Pro Tip: Parking is a breeze if you go around and up the parking ramp in the back. Park on top of the store and take the elevator down. Pro Tip 2: Great view of the city at night!

This place never has any push carts/wagons. In addition, customer service isn't pleasant. Bags are so cheaply manufactured, they biodegrade the same day. Only reason why I keep shopping here, is because it's convenient.

Every time I shop here I always come across expired food on the shelves. And not expired by a few days either. Usually the items are expired by a few months. Last week it was salad dressing that expired in November 2017. I've brought it to the stores attention but they didn't seem to care.

I like Stop N Shop but their biggest problem is the labels on the shelves showing the price of an item. They cram too much info on labels that are 2 inches by 1 inch. The price portion is large enough, but its the teeny tiny printing stating, for example, either you have to buy 2 or more to get the price or you buy 2 at regular price and get 2 for free. I have to look at their labels several times to make sure I understand them. And a few times I was mistaken and wound up paying more than I thought I would based on one of the caveats on their labels. Another negative is the cash register receipt. They put so much information on a receipt thats almost 18" long. It shows the regular price of an item and the discount price and the amount you saved, yadda yadda yadda. Its overkill. Why dont they just put down the price you paid. No extra explanations are necessary on a too long receipt. I think customers would appreciate it. I honestly like shopping here. Selection is always great. And you can get some great sale prices too. The store is always clean and the employees are pleasant. I would shop there more if it werent for trying to interpret store labelling.

I love this location. Free parking available on the 2nd floor. I usually go there after 5-6pm and it is pretty empty. Not long lines and also self checkout is available. They have been there for a long time and every visit brings some memories.

This store has been getting progressively worse recently. I only come here for convenience and easy parking. There is never enough shopping wagons. Today when my back was turned another shopper emptied my wagon and stole it. There are cameras everywhere but apparently nobody who works here knows how to view the recordings. The lines at the deli counter are too long. Used to up to 4 people working there. Now never more than 2. This place just keeps getting worse.

Maintenance needs to make sure the door to the recycling machines are closed in order to use them. Maybe get one more available person if there's any issue happening in the extra room. Could use more cashiers imo. Other than that, it seems fine.
