Tasty mini cupcakes! Very fun idea and a great hostess gift. These are tiny enough to pop in your mouth in one bite, but they are super intense. Think of them like truffles, they are so rich. My favorites were the Pretzel & Beer and the Dark & Stormy.

Bought some cupcakes here for my friend's bachelorette party. They were amazing. We tried Bee's Knees, Sex on the Beach, Car Bomb, Old Fashioned, Beer & Pretzels, and Birthday Cake. My favorite was the Beer & Pretzels. I also really like how the cupcakes are bite-size so you can try them all. ;) They're not very potent but they are a fun treat, especially for parties.

Alcohol + mini cupcakes = probably the best invention ever. These little guys definitely pack a punch, and make a great birthday treat for a friend. Our favorites: Pretzels & Beer and the Car Bomb.

Brilliant little cupcakes. Yes, they really do taste like there is some serious booze in these little tasties. Awesome little treat.

Kinda wished it was boozier.

Brilliant. And no it does not get you drunk.

This bakery specializes in creating boozy-style cupcakes. The servings, while genuinely flavorful, are super tiny. I would definitely return if a specific craving ever arises, but I don't see myself doing it too often.

This place is closed as they have switched to catering only. However, we called when we couldn't find it and the proprietor came downstairs and gave us an assortment. That was really sweet.

Been here a couple of times, including once picking up a large order of their spiked cupcakes. The flavors are creative and they girls working here are really helpful and patient with curious folks.

Great, mini cupcakes that actually taste a little like alcohol! However, they are pretty pricey.

A joke. Every time I tried to go they had a loose leaf paper posted to the door saying "Be back in 20 minutes." After several attempts, traveling very far out of my way, and waiting well over 2hrs, I just tried going inside, and the employees just stared at me like "how dare you," then told me "we're not open." Needless to say, I won't be back....ever.

This little spot features boozy cupcakes... my kind of treat! I find it sometimes tough to incorporate alcohol in a dessert without overpowering the food entirely. (I bake a lot.) They really find that balance where you can taste the alcohol without losing any sight of the flavor. It's a great concept that I can see really hitting off with the public! Their cupcakes are small in size but not flavor. I especially love their Pretzels & Beer, Margarita, Old Fashioned and Dark & Stormy cupcakes. They were all rich, creamy and really electrified my taste buds. Can't wait to go back and try more!

I ventured out of Manhattan because I can never find perfect pesto which I adore. Last time I ordered pesto in a very expensive restaurant it was mixed with corn, peas and cream Ugh. This place doesn't have gorgeous decor but it does have perfect food at amazing prices. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. They even lowered the music at my request. The calamari was lightly fried and hardly required biting. The pesto pasta was absolutely divine. The bruschetta original. The tiramisu dessert which three of us shared not overly sweet like some. If I lived in Sunnyside I'd be eating there at least twice a week. With food so good and so reasonable it hardly pays to cook. Can't wait to go back. Bess H

My friends and I were standing around figuring out where to go for brunch when I spotted "prohibition bakery" across the street. Intrigued I crossed the street and went in. The place was empty and I don't understand why. They have regular size cupcakes and mini ones too. They have a rotating menu of flavors inspired by prohibition era (and modern) cocktails. I got a few minis. I think it was 3 for $5. I finished all of them in about 2 minutes. The cupcakes were yummy and moist and delicious. This place is on a busy (brunch) street with numerous popular places nearby. Not sure why they weren't busier. Service was also warm and friendly. I will definitely visit again perhaps for a special occasion. They are definitely better than some other more popular places. Oh and they have vegan options too

Who can say no to boozy cupcakes? Still stalking the elusive cigar and scotch cupcake. Well worth every penny.

Excellent bakery. Not too pricey. You can really taste the booze in them and they are full of flavour besides the alcohol. I came here expecting more of a cafe but it's just a to-go counter. Really wish they had a seating area. Felt weird walking out with booze cupcakes because after eating a few you can start to feel a bit tipsy.

I first saw this bakery online. When I learned they infused their cupcakes with booze that was immediate selling point for me. The website was a little misleading though, because the cupcakes were actually miniature cupcakes, not that it mattered it was just something I noticed. The girl who took care of us also owned the pace, which impressed me because she seemed to be doing fairly well for a start-up. The cupcakes were delicious, my favorite being the Pretzels and Beer. Unfortunately I didn't have enough cupcakes to feel any sort of buzz, but like any alcohol infused food that's seldom the case. The owner took pictures of the people I went with for their facebook page which was pretty cool, but as soon as the pictures were up, some names were spelled wrong, so what does that tell you?

This is one of the friendliest shops in all of the Lower East Side. I popped in here one evening to get something sweet and walked out with a little box of four assorted cupcakes, including an Irish car bomb cupcake and pretzels and beer, whoa. Absolutely delicious without an overly alcohol taste. I also LOVE the packaging, so great to bring to someone's house as a gift!

The cupcakes are very tasty and the service is superb! The bakery is just off Houston on Clinton Street. You'll have to come down a couple of steps as the shop is in the basement. I tried Pretzels & Beer, Bee's Knees, Mulled Wine and Old Fashioned. All four were very good and perfectly sized to get a taste of the flavors described for each cupcake on the menu in one bite. I will be coming back to try the other boozy and non-alcoholic cupcakes on the menu!

These mini cupcakes have alcohol in them! Beer and pretzels, margarita, and sangria ones are my favorites!

This review is really a 3 1/2 star. I liked the cupcakes. They were incredibly small though, for the price you pay. However, they were bite size which was nice. Overall, the cupcakes had a nice taste but in terms of being boozy, the taste wasn't that strong. It was nice experience though for my first visit.

A small bakery specializing in spiked cupcakes that's themed after the 1920's prohibition. They have some really interesting flavors that change every day! Ask them if you need a large order and they can even deliver it. If your in the area and need a small treat, definitely stop by - the staff is very helpful and give great recommendations.

It keep coming up with excuses to head even in the general direction as Prohibition Bakery! Everything I have tried is so good. Small yet appropriate portion makes it possible to try a few different kinds. I love Margarita the most so far but still haven't gotten to Sangria yet but am planning my visits around it! Love this spot!
