From start to finish our custom cake experience was just wonderful. Olga helped me pick out the perfect cake size for my grandmother’s 80th surprise birthday party and answered all the many questions I had. She also helped me set up our custom cake consult with Leigh Ann. Leigh Ann was our cake designer and she helped us choose a flavor and finished up the final details regarding the design I wanted. We chose to have the cake delivered and boy, did they deliver it right on time! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and even prettier than I imagined it would be. Not only was it gorgeous it tasted amazing too. We are so thankful to Leigh Ann and everyone at Palermo (Ridgefield Park) for helping to make my grandmother’s day super special!
I just got married yesterday. From the start of the cake designing and planning, I knew that we made the right choice to use Palermo's. Olga helped us to choose and design our cake for the special day. We met with her at the cake tasting. The samples were delicious and plenty to choose from. We received so many compliments at the wedding yesterday. The guests loved the look and taste of the cake and so did we. We will definitely recommend and use Palermo's again. Even though it's about an hour drive or so, it's worth the trip!!
6/16/14 update - Palermo's is mailing us a gift certificate and were very apologetic about the mix-up. Thanks! Original Post - We ordered a wedding cake from Palermo's through our wedding venue - the initial meeting went great, but on the day of our wedding we were told the 1/2 chocolate cake and 1/2 vanilla cake with dulce de leche filling was ALL chocolate. We were so disappointed, especially since we had paired homemade ice cream to go with each flavor and my husband loves dulce de leche. We were pretty disappointed.
Palermos did our wedding cake. The process was simple and the taste of the cake was great. My cake came out decorated differently than I had communicated. It is still a mystery if the bakery, the venue or the florist are responsible because everyone says they didn't do it. In any case, mistakes happen but as far as the taste and the ease of the process goes, I was satisfied.
Super friendly staff at this location! They have special occasion cakes made to order (haven't tried that yet, but will this year). A friend of mine has had their wedding cake done here and it was gorgeous! Even if you're not coming here for a special occasion cake, they have a wide variety of other delicious treats. My personal favorites are the fresh bread, apricot butter cookies, tri color italian cookies, and fruit tarts. Highly recommend!
My wedding cake came out absolutely beautifully! The staff was helpful in making sure that we got what we wanted, and we even had a monogram custom designed for our cake! I only wish that I got to eat more of it at the reception :)
Good tasting cakes
Excellent customer service and beautiful and delicious cake. They took my last minute order and did a great job despite not being able to do some of the 3-D designs because of the time needed for same.Highly recommended
best cakes in NJ. They make delicious egg and eggless cakes. We had ordered for my son's birthday and everyone loved it so much that most of the parents became loyal customers of Palermos Bakery.
Sometimes pastries have refrigerator taste, cakes are usually very good.
Best wedding cake ever; bought smaller cake for a birthday and it too was fantastic.
Nice place but the young man taking care of me had no clue
They made my sister's wedding cake and it was an absolute vision. The staff is friendly and attentive, as long as they feel like you're going to make a purchase with the company. The prices are on the high end. You could find similar quality cake 10-15% cheaper if you shop around. But she was very pleased with the final product overall.
Great place! Excellent prices!
Muy buenos pasteles y panes... Vale la pena.
Had a wonderful experience with Palermo's Bakery and would highly recommend to anyone. From the very beginning, at the cake tasting they were extremely helpful. They made our vision of the perfect cake come to life. The cake was delicious and received so many compliments from all our guests not just how wonderful it looked but how great it tasted too. We are now approaching our one year anniversary and can't wait to come back!
A few months back, we (my dad--whom they accommodated, mom and fiancé) went to Palermo's Bakery for our wedding cake consultation. Our wedding cake is included with our reception at the Brooklake Country Club. Jerry was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. The tasting was SO much fun and the cakes were addictive. Since then, we have tried some of their pastries....the chocolate mousse is heavenly! We are all really looking forward to our "very moist" beach-themed wedding cake this June!! :)
Tried a slice of Red Velvet cake. It was a little dry. Although I like the selection of pastries.
At first I was a bit nervous when I was told by our reception hall that our cake comes with the package and that it was through Palermo's Bakery, I thought something that we are told to get can not possibly be good. We made our appointment for the tasting and loved many of the flavors. The girl that helped us, showed us the style of cake that was in our package, we picked everything, made a few minor changes and then it was months of waiting to see how it would all turn out. On our wedding day the cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. I typically do not like wedding cake but this cake was perfect. A few of our guests even asked the wait staff for seconds. Then the next day we found an entire anniversary cake, it is in the freezer, just under 9 months until we can eat it. Needless to say the leftover cake did not last long, we ate a few pieces before leaving for our honeymoon, froze the rest and ate it when we came home, it was just as delicious as before. I definitely recommend to anyone to visit the bake shop or to schedule a cake tasting, it was by far one of the best parts of wedding planning.
Got a $20 dulce de leche cake and it was really good. The caramel wasn't overly sweet. They said it would feed 6 people but we got at least 10 servings out of it.
Excellent tasting goodies!
I absolutely loved Palermo's Bakery. They recently did my wedding cake and made the whole process so easy. We set up a cake tasting and that was by far my favorite process of wedding planning. We met with Olga and she had everything ready for us. We tasted 2 plates of different cake samples and looked through options on the computer. We were in an out in under 30 minutes with the whole thing planned. We chose the chocolate cake with chocolate pudding filling and the vanilla cake with strawberry filling. We chose a simple white cake and added some sugar crystals to give it some shine. We even got to take our leftover samples home. The day of - the cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we asked for. I am already recommending them to anyone I know that needs any dessert. They are my new favorite!
Palermo's did our wedding cake, and my goodness – what a cake it was!!! We had our wedding at Mayfair Farms, and part of our package with them included a cake from Palermo's. Now we can see why, because Palermo's is simply the best. We set up a tasting appointment with them, where we worked one-on-one with an associate. Unfortunately, we forgot her name, but she was lovely – very easy to work with, and very patient as we went through the pictures. Basically, she gave us a computer screen and keyboard, and we went through dozens, if not a couple hundred, pictures of wedding designs. And these cake designs are literally pieces of art. After the design, we then went into filling and icing. We got several samples, all of which were delicious, but we ultimately decided to settle on a red velvet with buttercream icing and cream cheese filling. It was a smashing success with our guests!!! Indeed, the day of the wedding, the cake looked absolutely gorgeous, and it tasted fantastic!!! All in all, we loved our cake. Highly recommend!!!
Got my gender reveal cake here a few days ago....totally worth the money and officially the BEST cake I've ever had! This will definitely be my go to bakery for all future events
Just booked my wedding cake with Palermo’s Ridgefield. Giovanna and the women working there were so helpful, knowledgeable & sweet. Very happy with the experience.
Palermo's was such an awesome place to get our wedding cake! Our cake was included in our wedding package from The Graycliff, and we had so much fun going for our cake tasting. The staff at Palermo's was so accommodating to one request we had, and everything turned out great. When we saw our cake on our wedding day, we were SO impressed! It was absolutely beautiful!! We recently celebrated our 1st anniversary and defrosted our cake to eat. It tasted just as good as it did on our wedding day!
I love this place. The designs are just perfect for your needs and they have a large variety of flavors. I highly recommend this place!
Thank you ,excellent job from Palermo's, Mr. Jose Gonzalez, from designing the cake in a piece of paper to the cake it self.
One of the best bakeries within the local areas. They have a very large selection of fresh baked goods. They also specialized in wedding cakes and catering. My favorite is the perfectly baked pignoli nut cookies, best ones I have had. Coffee is always good and service is very friendly.
We ordered our wedding cake from Palermo's and couldn't be happier. They were extremely professional and accommodating. All the guests complimented the wedding cake. We would definitely recommend Palermo's.
Our three-tier wedding cake with each layer a different flavor was amazing. The frosting was also a delicious buttercream.
Update: After posting my reviews on several websites, I was contacted by two of the owners of Palermo’s, Joanne and Paul. I got to speak and work with Paul, who was much more sympathetic to the situation than Leann had been in the 5-week ordeal, and did everything in his power to make up for the mistake and keep me and my husband as returning Palermo’s customers. They offered to re-make the top tier of our cake and dine at their restaurant, which we are scheduling for this month. Paulie demonstrated great customer service skills - I wish it was him who had dealt with the complaint the first time around! Hopefully other brides will not have to deal with other employees from Palermo’s that treated us the way we were treated. The owners, however, showed a lot of pride in their bakery and a desire to make their customers happy. Original review: Getting your cake through your wedding venue, but it's coming from Palermo's? BEWARE! This company has shown me they do not care about their 'wholesale customers' like us. The instructions after our cake tasting (with Leigh Ann) were to bring our cake topper to the venue, no more than 5 inches wide. I spent over four hours making our cake topper by hand. Palermo's delivered a cake that had a fully decorated top tier to my wedding venue, so my venue was unable to use the cake topper I had made. I didn't find out until the reception, so I was obviously very upset. Two days after the wedding, I reached out to Palermos. After taking more than two weeks to get in touch, Leigh Ann claimed it was "an error by one of the decorators." Her recommendation for remediation, after speaking with her boss (Jerry, who is the owner, I believe), was a $100 gift certificate to Palermos. I requested a full refund for my cake. I acknowledged that we did not pay the bakery, but we did pay our venue thousands of dollars to have our wedding there, and the venue in turn paid Palermos for the cake. After consulting her bosses again, the only change was that we were offered the $100 as cash/check instead of a gift certificate. Leigh Ann told me she "thought that was pretty fair" and that her bosses said that because we were a wholesale customer (aka purchased through our venue) that there was nothing they could do. Leigh Ann made sure to ask how the cake looked otherwise and how it tasted and requested a picture be sent to her. On the phone, she said "well, it looked great and tasted good." The cake did not come as we had ordered and requested it, so no, it did not look great. My wedding cake pictures are ruined, my hard work and time was wasted, and my confidence in this company has fallen. They have shown that just because we didn't place an order through the bakery ourselves, they have no care to fix their mistakes and take care of their customers. In addition, I left my name/number with people who answered the phones in Ridgefield Park, and Leigh Ann didn't get my messages twice. Not sure who's at fault there, but obviously their communication amongst staff is lacking.
Great experience!! Went for a cake tasting. Leighann was awesome!!
Went for a tasting - was fantastic and employees were very friendly
The cake was delicious ! When we met with them they gave us many options to taste. Olga was very nice to work with and did a great job of helping us design our perfect cake.
Palermo's gave us the most incredible wedding cake! It looked awesome and tasted even better. I would never consider any other place for cakes!!
Beware of Pricing -- My fiancee and myself went to this bakery as part of a package deal similiar to one of the previously placed reviews and while the cakes on display were nice you could tell right off the bat that this place makes some money with the mohoghany displays and granite desks. It didn't take too long to realize how. Basically, my fiancee had a picture of the cake that she wanted and in discussing with the very helpful sale woman she stated this should be fine and probably would be an extra $150-200 for the design. We thought great this was a lot easier than I thought the experience would be. Well when she checked with the owner she came back and re-qouted us at $7-8 per head. For a 200 person wedding that is 1,400 -1,600 on a cake that we already have included with our venue! We balked at the pricing as we are paying for things ourselves with little support from our parents, she wound up going with her second choice which was still $500 extra but we didn't want to deal anymore and just paid in full. Just to note we are by no means cheap or frugal people and are having our wedding at a well known higher end place but when a bakery is asking $8 a head for a slice of cake in upgrades (not including the already paid for portion) they have lost their senses. I go to some of the best resturuants and eateries in the city for my work and they don't even have the nerve to do that. I feel that the cake boss shows and all the publicity has made the business of being a bakery a very lucrative one but once the hype is over there will be no loyal customer base to fall back on. Just beware of pricing, I hope everything works out with the cake we ordered.
Absolutely perfect place for a desert, the prices are very reasonable and the quality is great.
Best cakes ever!
We used Palermo’s for our wedding cake and were beyond thrilled with the experience! We loved everything about the wedding cake and it was exactly what we wanted. The cake was elegant and classy, and was exactly what I was looking for. Not only was it beautiful but it was absolutely delicious. The cake tasting process was a lot of fun and Olga was awesome and so helpful! I highly recommend Palermo’s to anyone! Thanks Palermo’s!
My husband and I used Palermo's for our wedding cake. The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted just as great. Our tasting was with Leighann in Ridgefield Park. Leighann was so friendly and patient as we tried to narrow down our choices in design and flavor. When my husband and I couldn't agree, she even helped to compromise by letting us put in more than one flavor and adding to the design so that we would both be happy. We couldn't be happier with the service and products at Palermo's and would highly recommend them to all!
Worst bakery in NJ. Rude while taking order and delivering the cake, especially JESSICA ! ! Totally different from what I asked for ! Didnt even close the cake properly. They put some butter paper and plastic wrapper to cover one side of the box. Disgusting irritating experience. Stay away ! ! !
This place have a horrible service
Our appointment was delayed even though we showed up on time, due to others having their own cake tasting. Ours turned out quick and easy; we chose a simple design but it turned out beautifully on our wedding day. Our cake was included with our venue price at Casa Bianca and it tasted amazing. Would recommend for any special occasion!
Love, love, love their cakes! Our wedding venue included a wedding cake from Palermo's and it was delicious! My fiance, maid of honor, bridesmaid and I went for a cake tasting and had a great time. We ended up going with the vanilla cake with french cream raspberry for our wedding, and they decorated it so beautifully. I also ordered a surprise groom's cake for my husband and he was thrilled. We ended up eating it after the honeymoon (the wedding went by so quickly we barely ate cake) but one week later it was still delicious! We also love the fact that they will recreate your cake top tier for your 1 year anniversary so you don't have to freeze it and eat 1 year old cake... so we are having our top tier for our one month. Yum!
Great wedding cake design process.
My husband and I just celebrated our wedding this past Saturday and we started our marriage off in the sweetest way possible by getting our wedding cake from Palermo's Bakery. From our first sit down at the bakery and doing our tasting, to the actual day of the wedding, every single bite was DELICIOUS. We opted for two different fillings in our cake. Each layer was vanilla cake and the fillings were dulce de leche and coconut. It tasted divine and we received (and still are receiving) compliments over the cake. Many guests made it a point to tell us it was the best wedding cake they have every tasted. Thank you so much for delivering us a cake that was so memorable!
Good options and the cakes are very tasty.
I ordered a cake for my sister's wedding on October 28,2015 from little ferry location. It was the worst cake i have ever had. Like someone said in the previous review that no one ate the cake. It was like rock solid. I don't believe it was made the same day. I didn't have complicated decorations for this reason that at least the cake will tast good that day. I won't be back.
We loved our cake! Palermo Bakery was chosen for us by our venue as the cake was included in our package, but we weren't disappointed! We did 2 tiers of vanilla cake with raspberry filling and 2 tiers of chocolate cake with nutella filling and our guests loved it! I also appreciated that Palermo let me draw sketches that they cut out of fondant for our cake design (for an upcharge). It made our cake more personal and let us tell our story. This bakery isn't always great with communication, but the cake is definitely tasty!
It’s fascinating to me how they have 4 Stars. This place is a sad definition of Italian bakery. It’s like getting pastries from Dunkin Donuts and calling it Italian. Terrible terrible. Completely tasteless. Also tasted old and hard. Don’t waste your time or money. Go to Rispoli’s down the road. Only good thing is their bread if you wanted something quick for dinner. But if you get it in late afternoon expect most to be hard.
VERY VERY disappointing. Ordered an ice cream cake yesterday early afternoon (~11:30 am) for my son's birthday, with just his name and "Happy Birthday" written on it. When I arrived around 6 PM, the staff had NO clue about said cake. They promised me no worries, that the ice cream cakes in the freezer were made fresh same day. The employee offered to still write the Happy Birthday message on the cake which was expected for a $30 ice cream cake. I wish I took a picture of what the cake looked like. The writing looked as though a child had messily written it. No script. I let the employee who was checking us out let us know that this was pretty upsetting. He offered to re-write the icing, but I really didn't have more time (only one employee was helping customers, so we were already there for a good 15 -20 minutes) :( As if that wasn't enough, just want to make sure that I add in that after tasting the cake, there is NO WAY that cake was made yesterday. The ice cream was clumpy and had freezer burn throughout. The cookie pieces that are supposed to be chocolaty and crispy were stale and tasteless. I would have very much appreciated honesty in this situation so I could have just purchased some actual fresh baked items! I'm writing this so ownership is aware of customer (dis)satisfaction.
OMG!! This bakery is the BEST!! I wanted a specific gingerbread house for the holidays and I went over to see what they could do to make it happen. They made it happen! What a gingerbread house!! It was absolutely gorgeous and I have had so many of my friends and relatives comment that this is the most beautiful and breathtaking gingerbread house they have ever seen. Thank you, Yvonne (and all of the staff).
MY FAVORITE PART OF WEDDING PLANNING ! We had Olga the day we came in to design our wedding cake. From the minute we walked in we were welcomed! We had the best time creating and tasting for our wedding cake. We are so happy we got Olga, she was amazing !! She sat and listened and gave us what we wanted. I cannot wait to see my wedding cake. Palermo Bakery was the 1 wedding planning experience i wish i could do again and again !!!
Went in to order an apple turnover and the person behind the counter didn't have a clue. Ended up getting a cinnamon roll and it tasted like it was made yesterday.
Palermo's is the best bakery in NJ. Everything is top notch, from their cakes, pastries and cookies, directly to their staff. With our upcoming wedding, there was no doubt who will be making our Wedding Cake. In addition, this past Saturday I happened to be in the store picking up some goodies and witnessed a customer complaint about their cake not being exactly as they wanted. The staff never missed a beat! They IMMEDIATELY rectified the situation, gave the customer two choices and never even flinched. The best customer service around!
I ordered a cake meant to feed 50 people for a graduation party last summer. The lady taking my order took her time in allowing me to sample different flavors and was patient with my design preferences. The cake came out FANTASTIC and was big enough to feed around 80. Needless to say, we had plenty leftover, but it did not last long considering how delicious it was! Have been going back to Palermo's for other occasions since. The only negative is that they put too much of the white, thick frosting on the edge between layers, leaving less space for the filling of your choice. I understand the white frosting is necessary to keep the layers in place, but perhaps the filling should be made thicker to compensate.
Delicious cakes and great customer service
Disappointed yet again. Not the first time, or the second, but the third. Picked up some clamshell pastries Tuesday afternoon and ate a blueberry one when I arrived home. It had a distinctive ONION (yes onion) taste. Only 3 possibilities as I see it. Careless baking prep, careless transport packing, or careless handling. Palermos most definitely has a quality control problem. All 3 of my disappointments have been QC issues. I like to support local business, but I think I'm officially DONE with Palermo's. I have visited counless other area bakeries over the years, and never had these issues. My advice: STAY AWAY!
I got my wedding cake from here and it was just like I wanted and soooo yummy. We were late for my cake tasting which was very hard to schedule but they let us have the tasting anyway which I’m grateful for. I don’t remember who helped us but she was great, she let us take our time and decide.
I'm disappointed with this location and company overall. I was helping my cousin with her wedding cake as she is flying into Jersey for her wedding and when I called to make payments on the cake they LOST my credit card INFORMATION. As a result, I asked to speak to a manger and one was not provided to me and was giving the run around by being transfer between locations. I was told a manager was going to be contacting me and I never got a call from them. Consequently, I had to contact my bank to cancel/send me a new debit card, super inconvenient. P.S. I also had to call a few times to get an receipt emailed to me. It's not worth the hassle. Unorganized with people's personal information.
Our wedding cake was sooooo beautiful and incredibly delicious! I also ordered a special Back to the Future cake to surprise the groom with and it turned out AMAZING!!!
My husband and I chose Palermo’s Bakery as our Wedding Cake Vendor and we could not have been more happier with our decision. We wanted to let the whole Palermo’s Bakery staff know how much we LOVED our wedding cake. It tasted just as magnificent as its appearance. The compliments we received on it were endless. Thank you all for EVERYTHING. ♥️
We used this bakery for our wedding reception cake. They did a great job creating a very simple but beautiful cake for us. Our flavor was vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and the dolce de leche filling. It was delicious. We highly recommend.
Wonderful staple for pastries, desserts, etc. nestled along the slightly underdeveloped main street of Ridgefield Park. Only ~20 mins from Manhattan (depending on traffic). Their cannoli sell like they're going out style. Prices are quite reasonable. Quality/consistency has been good at each visit, and will definitely return. Staff are always great.
Our wedding cake from Palermo's was great! The design was beautiful and the cake tasted delicious....great job!
My wedding is scheduled for Sunday, May 21st I got a call late Tuesday telling me I am supposed to get 3 layers of cake versus 4 layers after selecting my cake almost 2 months ago and have mapped out a design for 4 tier... I am highly dissatisfied with this bakery and their service....no bride wants to have to redesign her cake days before her wedding. Nothing was offered or provided for their error and my inconvenience and extra STRESS
My husband wanted to surprise with a treat from NJ/NY and purchased some tiramisu and cannoli's. He said that the lady behind the counter was rude and obxinous. As if his money was as good as all the celebrities that they, supposedly, make cakes for. The tiramisu was in a pudding cup first off, and it was mostly whipped cream, hardly any cake. not impressed and didn't appreciate the nastiness.
Did an excellent job making my vision come true. They made the whole experience very personable. They even gave me a sketch of the design for my wedding cake. It was delicious and had many compliments on how moist and flavorful the cake was. The design was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend.
Outstanding their quality and service is 2nd to none. I've lived in parts of Bergen County all my life. There are fewer and fewer nice places like this left... Go there you won't be disappointed.
The flavors of the cake was completely different than what we wanted for our wedding Cake. Truly a terrible experience. I guess the person that took our order was illiterate.
Zero star, I'm reviewing just after my wedding party ended because I'm so frustrated and very disappointed. First they gave us smaller cake than what we had agreed on but I didn't want to make it a big deal since it's my wedding day and i didn't want to ruin it. Secondly the taste wasn't good all my guests left it in their plates un touched , it was embarrassing. Bottom line the taste and quality of their cake is cheap. if I bought 15$ cake from shoprite it would be better quality than this cake.
Palermo seamlessly partnered with my selected event venue and the most difficult part of the transaction was picking the flavors for the cake. I worked with Haley and she was pleasant and very responsive. The cake was excellent and elegant.
Great service, best coffee/ tea, best Boston cream donuts in n j,best crumb cake in bc,best Italian cookies in america
LOVE...LOVE...LOVE...those sprinkle cookies
As soon as me and my fiancè walked in Palermo's Bakery we were amazed of all the sample cakes displayed on the shelves and even more pleased to meet Olga, the nicest girl you will ever meet. She helped us design our wedding cake, so friendly so creative, giving us different options and designes to match our wedding theme. We had such a wonderful ecxiperience with her and the cake was exactly what we expected it to be. Thank you so so much Olga
We held our wedding at Shadowbrook and Palermo's was the contracted bakery that provides all the wedding cakes. I held an interracial wedding so I wanted to have a Chinese character on the cake. It was a 3 tier square cake with alternating flavors for each layer. We had red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and vanilla with dulce de leche filling. It was absolutely delicious - and I don't even like cake! For our gluten free guests, we prepared red velvet cupcakes for an extra cost ($5/jumbo cupcake). When we visited the Union City branch, we spoke with Olga who was very helpful. She was professional, efficient, and extremely flexible. When we saw our wedding cake, we were absolutely stunned with how beautiful it was!
Your pizza were very good but i was very disappointed with desserts. Your cupcakes were dense and spongy. We couldn't tell if they were stale or frozen. Same with your cookies, they were rock solid. We could tell if they were frozen or stale. Overall the meal were good.
I Ordered My Groom's Cake For My Husband For Pur Wedding And Gave Them A Picture And The Flavors I Wanted And Palermo's Exceeded My Expectations And My Husband And Everyone That Got To Taste His Groom's Cake LOVED it!!! Their Only Downfall Was When I Went To Pay My Balance, I Dropped Off The Cake Topper And The Worker Took It. Later That Day, I Was Inconvenienced Because A Worker Called Me To Come Back And Pick Up My Cake Topper So It Does Not Get Damaged. The Worker's Need Better Communication Amongst Eachother.
I worked to with Palermo for my wedding at the Grove. They were very honest and courteous about staying within our budget and made helpful suggestions for substitutions that would be more cost-saving. I especially appreciated how they were willing to change our design a few weeks before the wedding when I found something that worked better. Most importantly, our cake was delicious that day!
Purchased a cake for my son's first birthday. I was quite disappointed when I picked it up today. The image on the cake was in one small square and the explanation given was that I probably didn't specify I wanted the image on the entire cake or that the image would've been pixilated if stretched. Honestly, if it was a matter of the photo being pixilated, the company had my number and email address they could have reached out and said something or asked my opinion. If I am paying $20 extra to add an image to a cake, I expect the image to look how I envisioned. Also if I call and say I want to order a cake with an image on the top why would I need to specify to cover the entire top with this image? Maybe this is the general practice but should you not also ask customers for clarification just incase this is possibly the first time they are ordering a birthday cake from your company? On top of that my son's name was spelt incorrectly even though it was spelt out on the phone THREE times and I made sure I spelt it out in the email I sent with the image just incase!!!. The lady who delt with us did the best she could and corrected the incorrect letters. For the price that was paid I'm quite disappointed but thankfully it's just his first birthday so I'm the only one disappointed and not him.
Great Service!! So attentive and nice!!
Great tasting cakes but i always find myself slightly disappointed with their attention to detail. I ordered a cake for before and blamed it on myself for maybe not being detailed enough but this time was upsetting. I mostly got what i ordered but i like when people take pride in their work, especially when you are paying for it. The web on my cake was missing a strand on the side and the web seemed like they didnt even care to fix their mistakes and when i asked them to fix part of the web, they didn't even have the orange to fix it. I dont know why they even let it leave smudged. I dont think i will be going to palermos for specialty cakes any more unfortunately.
Nice place, first time. Pastries were very good.
Gorgeous and delicious wedding cake, would definitely recommend this vendor!! All of our guests said the taste was fabulous. We chose French Vanilla and Raspberry cream filling on vanilla cake.
Palermo made us the most beautiful wedding cake! I couldn't have asked for more. I was beyond shocked when we saw it! Not only did the cake smell absolute amazing as you stood near it, but the taste was perfect. exactly what we where looking for! Very detailed and just gorgeous. Placing the order was easy and tasty!
Love the cakes and donuts from Palermo's! It's no wonder they have so many locations!!
Omg this bakery is amazing! We arder all our cakes here they are delicious, love the gluten free cupcakes and the pastries, my favorite tiramisu is orginal flavor.. And the service is the best the lady I think Jassmine is her name very helpful and kind.
Palermo's made our amazing wedding cake. Planning to visit them again this week to celebrate our 2nd anniversary! Thank you Palermo's!!
Great bakery and professional people
Best cannolis and cannoli cake. Ever.
Palermo Bakery was highly recommended to me for my wedding day and I was expecting a delicious cake on my special day but that was NOT the case. The cake tasting experience was great and everything was amazing THAT day. However, the cake I received the day of my wedding was NOT, it tasted nothing like the samples we had. We were left very, very disappointed.
Great bakery and professional people. Love this place. Well reommended
Absolutely amazing experience! Went there for wedding cake tasting. Olga was spectacular. Helped us find direction for our vision. She laughed with us as we shared stories. The flavors of cake were life changing and heavenly! My fiance is very particular about the flavors he likes, but Palermo definitely did not disappoint! We booked them on the spot to do our wedding cake! It took such a big stressors off of wedding planning. And the prices were exceptional reasonable! We definitely bonded with the staff and feel fully confident with them doing our cake!
