Decent food, small tables to eat at

I ordered the prosciutto mozzarella and roasted peppers "specialty sandwich" I was given no choice of bread. The sandwich came between two slices of bread. The prosciutto looked like it had been killed before world war 2 and was tougher then leather. Hands down my worst lunch experience in NYC ever. My only saving grace was the 11oz $4.50 coconut water and the personal pecan pie $4.95 grossly over priced for at best decent bakery items and a horrible sandwich $20 later, id rather have a dirty water dog off the corner. Never again.

Their smoothies, sadly, are pretty disappointing. Very tart. It seems like they just don't bother to add any kind of sweetener. Their breakfast bagel (sausage, egg, cheese) was good, but nothing to text home about.

Little with limited seating with average food and service but great when you need a place open 24 hours to grab a bite to eat. Brightly lit. Food selections are more like that of a deli than a bakery.

Walked in to be greeted with a distasteful costumer service and a tense experience. Not only are the employees by the pizza booth hostile, they act like they're better than you and you can see it in their smug filthy faces when they charge you four dollars for a god forsaken excuse for pizza. The dough tastes of rubber and the cheese can't be much younger than my grandmother. My nephew could make pizza better than this and for far cheaper than $4! The sandwich I had was stale and my teeth would be better off chewing rocks. If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would.

Good food, not so good service. I've seen that just cooked hot meats are put together with the cold meals in the fridge. The consequence is an important change of the temperature inside the fridge. It's a risky an unhealthy practice!!

If there was a no-star rate, I would give them exactly just that. I was there on May 7th ordered a take out plain hamburger & buffalo chicken pizza. After waiting 10 minutes I was asked how would I like my plain hamburger! "Whaat?!!" I gave the instructions as patiently as I could to a person who spoke very poor English. The pizza 'came' after another 10 minutes and was asked to pay for the whole order which I did - unfortunately. I asked the cashier just how much longer do I need to wait for the plain hamburger. She said something in Spanish to Carlos then told me "it's coming soon". Soon meant that there was still nothing for another 10 minutes. At this point I began to complain to the cashier, she tried to ignore it, didn't even want to look at me and kept mumbling 'god knows what'. Overall I was standing there waiting for a hamburger that didn't even worth the money for at least 40 minutes, by then I got the pizza but it was cold. Finally Carlos put the hamburger on the counter saying a casual, flimsy 'sorry' then walked away, the cashier did not even care to apologize. Her attitude was "I am here to collect payments and make coffee". It seemed as if they were actually annoyed by me like I was supposed to apologize for existing. This was an unbelievable service at the lowest level, a terrible experience altogether. Why these people work in the food service industry if they don't want to be bothered by serving a customer. My order wasn't a complicated one, nobody had to work hard to produce it. On the other hand, I heard plenty of chit-chatting, loud conversations among the workers in Spanish. And that's another thing that didn't suit me well. This cafe called 'Euro" and it is in the middle of NYC. Shouldn't the workers there speak their language when it comes to their private conversations to themselves and speak English when it comes to business as a basic courtesy to customers who walk in??!! I guess that's asking too much. I for one will never go back again for sure. Even if the food was excellent, which it was not, - it is just basic-average stuff for a high price. Standing there for so long, I also noticed that the sitting area wasn't kept clean either. It is unlikely if anybody would actually read this long review, it is very likely that the owners won't give any attention to this complaint and the workers there will keep on collecting their paycheck. So much for EuroPan.......

worst pizza on the UWS. Sauce is tasteless, dough they use for the crust, must be frozen, store bought, just a horrible taste............... If you want pizza late at night, after 12 midnight, they won't make fresh pies, only warm up the remaining slices they didn't sell during the day, staff has a lot of attitude at night when owner isn't there.......... I give it another year or so before we see "store for rent". Pizza is so simple to make, and so is a decent sauce...........

Delivery is the slowest I have ever experienced! Sometimes it takes over an hour to get my food delivered and I live litterally 232 feet from this restaurant. What a shame.

Great place. Staff was super helpful. Amazingly full menus. Price is good for what you get. Dessert was better than some I have had in Arkansas. Only thing bad was lack of drink choices. But that's just me.

Mobility and it's family-friendly accessible and children friendly and kid friendly and teenage friendly and family-friendly and friend friendly and also acquaintance friendly and family and friends acquaintances friendly the bakery section staff has full knowledge of all about the area I'm the cakes and the staff you read section people are the same also the cold cut counter people are the same and the sandwich making people are the same all in all the owner is a friendly kind person who's considered to people's needs and respectable to people's needs the manager and the management and the boss and the bosses the people who are in charge or the charge people supervisor on supervisor management and all in all the person who's in charge of the whole thing they are all sweet wonderful people I have met I have known the owner who runs the place in the South cement for a good many years and not once have I ever any problems with him and his staff and I highly recommend this place in the morning time for breakfast it's not so busy in the beginning as the morning goes on late hours in the morning people are waking up to get their breakfast to go to work or go with it have toit gets busy towards late morning hours as people start to go in lunch time it gets packed evening time for dinner overwhelming so many people enjoy especially late at night when they get late hours the holidays are enjoyable the owner decorates he's always kind of considerate about everything and understanding and appreciative to all his customers of all age groups and if you see a decoration on the cake he makes all the efforts to try to see if he can give it to you without buying the cake but sometimes if he doesn't have anymore to give he's always reasonable with his prices and he helps you out and considerate to people's feelingshe he likes talking to people to ask how their day is and he likes to get to know his customers even if it's your first time going there it's a fun great place to bring people it's something like cheers where everybody knows your name it's a very rare rare thing to go to it's hard to go to places like that because in this day and age it's very few places to go to so I hope you enjoy this review sincerely yours truly Charles storms Jr

Great experience, came to New York for a school trip and looked with a group of kids in the area for a place not to over priced. Got the mozzarella sandwich and it was very good. The bread was good but didn't understand why not given a choice. Sandwiches come with chips thought that was nice. Most of my friends got the chipotle sandwich which they said was good. The only downfall was the over priced dessert. I got the carrot cake and it was very good but it was like $5 for a piece. Friends got the canolli and they didn't like it because it tasted like cinnamon. Just a great place I thought everyone was friendly. Not over the top but they weren't rude at all. Definitely going again if in the area.

Mi nombrees Eduardo de Puerto Rico. Estuve a finales de Julio en un hotel cercano a ustedes, fuuimos porque el hotel nos recomendó que desayunaramos en su local. Los felicito por el buen servicio que brindan, muy limpio el local, la calidad del producto muy buena y las porciones son suficientemente grandes y dan para más de una persona. Me impresionó la variedad de los productos que tienen y preparan. Olvidé el nombre del gerente y lo felicito por tan eficiente administración del lugar. Lo recomiendo y volvería a visitarlos en unas próximas vacaciones. Demás está decir que desayunamos de 7 días 6 días pues nos encantó el lugar.

This place is simple looking and nothing fancy but it's really good. The salads and wraps are great. I've eaten here several times a week for over a year. Always fresh tasting food and the staff is so friendly. The pizza is especially great. Not greedy like most.

They barely put any chicken in the pasta Alfredo but of course charge you regular price. I asked the cook if he put any chicken the second time around and he responded “I gave you what you ordered” when I got home once again it barely had any chicken

I ordered a Veggie Pizza! It's loaded with almost all veggies I can think of. The pizza was a bit soggy because of the amount of contents it had. Wouldn't called the pizza delicious but would call it nutritious. Pizza is worth the money. I believe the veggie pizza was for 5$ including taxes.

The location was perfect from Hotel Belle claire. The staff were really nice. And the pastries were great. The egg sandwich tasted like nothing at all (I don't know how that's possible) . The bagels were good. The coffee HOT and strong just the way I like it.

Europan Bakery ti fa sentire a casa, il personale sempre gentile, disponibile e sorridente ha sempre soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta. Locale pulito e accogliente, ideale per gustose ed economiche colazioni, pranzi, cene e spuntini veloci. Aperto 24 ore su 24, dispone di vasta scelta di panini, pizze e dolci. Di mio più volte ho gustato la pizza, saporita e leggera, i dolci invitanti alla vista e ottimi al palato. Per noi è stata una tappa fissa durante il nostro soggiorno a New York. Mi spiace solo non aver salutato prima della partenza, alla prossima

The good: easy to order online via Grubhub; speedy delivery with everything packaged well; very nice delivery person; and an excellent fruit smoothie. The bad: overly marinated portobello mushrooms on the vegetarian sandwich, to the point I couldn't taste PESTO(!); and a panini that didn't have several of the promised ingredients, including the cheese, and had the chicken chopped so finely, the burnt panini flat bread couldn't contain it at all and the whole thing fell apart. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from here again.
