Amazing vegan selection, amazing coffee and great customer service. I love their blat sandwich and their breakfast burrito. Their cupcakes are also great. There coffee has free refills if you eat in the bakery. I highly recommend! Yum.

An amazing local vegan haunt. The lunch options are extremely solid but the baked goods, and especially the cakes and muffins, are what makes this place worth a trek even from elsewhere in Brooklyn. The very best time to go is around 9-10am on a weekend, when the pastries are fresh out of the oven. It can be hard to get a table at busy times, but if the weather is cooperative it's lovely to sit outside and enjoy the passing foot traffic on Classon & Greene. My only real quibble is that they'll sometimes run out of danishes pretty early in the day, so getting there earlier is definitely better.

Cupcakes are basically muffins with a creme on top, tasted like bread. Muffins were ok, except inside were too moist. Update! Next day I woke up with horrible PAIN, their products are NOT gluten-free or dairy free!!! If you have allergies, do not risk your health here!!! I specifically asked several times about the content, and they hated me for asking, but kept assuring its gluten-free and dairy free. They hurried to have the line behind me served ASAP.

I love this place. A dance party almost broke out when I was there. The girl behind the counter was singing to the song playing over the speakers, some customers joined in and before you know it the whole place was bobbing and moving while eating really delicious vegan food and treats and drinking coffee. Oh, and did I say the staff is super attractive and attentive and great!

I was pretty excited to try this bakery in Brooklyn and on my first day I was happy to have a flavourful burrito.... although it was a bit overpriced for what I got. My second trip to this bakery was a complete fail - the bagel was dense and stale I did not eat it and went to bagel world down the street instead (vegan options available). My latte was basically water with a bit of coffee and soy, I asked to have it remade and it was marginally better but not enough for me to drink and lastly, the jalapeno and cheese scone was bland until you eat a bit of the jalapeno which was so hot I could not eat the scone. I don't know who created the meals but this was disappointing and wasteful of food and money, I ate nothing of that days purchase. I would not recommend this restaurant. I wish I had read the reviews before going. The service was ok the first time I went but the second time I went and asked for my latte to be remade I was given some attitude.

It is a great vegan place. I personally went for desserts and coffee but they also serves wraps salads and other dishes that looked really really good from the corner of my eye when I was observing other customers. I had the blueberry cheesecake and it tasted just like a real cheesecake creamy flavorful and instead of crust they had a bed of nuts which is my favorite.

There is nothing missing from their delightful desserts. I'm an occasional vegan, but this place me feel like I can be.

Cool vibe, very popular place to be on a Sunday afternoon. I had no trouble finding a spot outside, and the workers were really nice. My only complaint is that my slice of crumble cake was 1000x too crumbly and fell apart before I could eat it. Would recommend!

My friend and I went to Clementine Bakery for the first time after living right down the street for 4 years, we never went in because it always looked too crowded. We got coffees and cupcakes. I've had better coffee and I've also hyped up the cupcakes too much on the walk home. They were okay, we got the chocolate cheese cake, tiramisu, double chocolate, and berry one, the best was the tiramisu one. You must try it!

I ordered a sheet cake for my husband's birthday last weekend, and it was amazing! We had plenty of non-vegans at the party, and they definitely had no idea that this cake was vegan. It was super moist and tasty. We got the banana chocolate chip cake with chocolate icing. Totally delicious! The staff is great too. They were professional and courteous. I was really pleased, and I would highly recommend this bakery to everyone.

Delicious vegan bakery/brunch place! Everything here is so tasty and satisfying. I definitely recommend the BLAT and the Cauliflower wings! They are sooo good. I love bringing my friends here for a cute brunch date. I don’t really recommend the drinks — not so great but everything else food wise such as the baked goods are always yummy. They change it up often. Outdoor and indoor seating available.

Excellent baked goods and very good vegan breakfast!! The people here are very sweet and the food is always on point! This place does a great job at being on the healthier side of vegan comfort food but doesn't sacrifice any of that warm, fuzzy, deliciousness that you crave when when you wanna pig out (get the jalapeno cheddar biscuits!!). The atmosphere is gorgeous with beautiful white walls and plants all around. When you walk into this place you walk out of Brooklyn and into a happy little world that you are only too glad to be a part of.

Took my nephew here for his 10th birthday. Being an "allergy" kid his diet is limited when eating out. We had their gluten free dairy free chocolate raspberry cupcake and chocolate brownie. That was the best gluten free dairy free brownies we've ever had. They were soooo moist. My nephew usually will eat the frosting and the muffin top off of any cupcake and throw away the rest. Not this time. He ate it all.

I frequent this place often, I love the food, employees, service can be a little slow sometimes but I don’t mind because I love this place so much. However, I can’t stand how much plastic this place uses. I just ordered my food and the cashier asked me for here or to go, I said “here” and my food comes out in to go containers. The restaurant is packed and everyone is drinking water out of plastic cups, to top it off there is no recycling bin in this place. I expect a business that is so accommodating to people’s diets to also be better about their use of plastic. They have paper straws but only plastic cups and no recycling bin. Tell me how this makes sense? Clementine change this.

I have never met friendlier staff! Their coffee is DELICIOUS and pastries are to die for. I walked in this morning for a coffee and walked out with a freshly-baked cinnamon bun because they smelled so good!! The best part is the $1.50 day-olds -- pastries that weren't sold the day before. They are always so delicious!! Definitely a delicious breakfast.

This is my favorite place to go for gluten free pastries (try the gluten free brownie -- you'll never want to eat any other brownies ever again!). It can be hard to find a place to sit during peak brunch hours on the weekends, but there's great community tables and outside seating when the weather's nice. The breakfast burrito, the biscuit and gravy (you can pick the biscuit you want!), and the vegetarian Reuben are my top picks. They just redid their menu, and I'm excited to try all the new (probably amazing) foods!

I had a cake made for my son's bday. We had some communication issues but after we got in contact they still were very helpful by making us a cake. Cons- the red icing made the frosting bitter. If I would have known that I would have skipped the coloring. The cake itself was delicious! And I could taste the icing was too but the coloring through it off.

Love this place. Their cafe only has some options. But they make cakes for so many cafes in NYC. I had their brownies at another cafe which are so delicious. It was 1 pound heavy brownie 4$. Super good. Today I had a coffee with a slice of the berry chocolate cake. The cake is dry on the ends. The frosting is nice. The vibe is nice and cozy. One of my favorite places to sit and snack if I had free time.

This was my finished Banh mi after I was told my original order (and whole reason why I came) didn’t have a certain ingredient so no way would I pay for half of what I wanted. This very tall sandwich was served on a small appetizer plate so my sandwich fell apart slowly with every bite onto the dirty table making me not want to eat the insane amount of soggy leftover tofu as seen below. The hostess was patient with me in changing my order but brought me out an iced coffee with no straw. The effort was there but not fully executed well enough for this $17 meal.

Cute spot with lots of light, plants and great vegan food. A fair amount of seating, a small queue at lunch and also outdoor seating options for nice days. The cauliflower curry was awesome and the portion huge. The flavours were really satisfying and it kept me full for hours on end - which doesn’t always happen when I eat vegan food. They ran out of chutney, so they substituted with cranberry sauce. I really wanted to try one of their sandwiches but they ran out of gluten free bread - but I suppose it gives me an excuse to go back. The double Chocolate cupcake was good because the frosting itself was delicious! As for the cake part it was a little dry and rice-y but not bad. Definitely would go back to try more! For what it was, the prices are definitely very reasonable too :)

I found this cute little bakery when I was looking for a place near my apartment that I could buy vegan and gluten-free pastries. I was providing treats for my staff at work and was happily surprised at the reception these goodies received! The day I stopped in I bought up all the scones! The staff was so friendly - I was happy that the vibe here as relaxed, yet they were attentive to all the customers. Very friendly. On weekends, this is a great place to walk to for coffee and a pastry in the morning. You won't be sorry to start your day this way!

I drove there for 45 min in traffic to order a cake for a party and when I asked to speak to someone about the ordering the girl that came out to meet me said she is not the one to talk to. That was fine, I stood there for 20 min or so waiting and them the girl at the front hands me an email address. I was very confused as to what to do with this. I ordered cakes from them a few times before and loved it, so i came again from the opposite end of Brooklyn and was handed an email ..... Really bad service and they lost a good business. While we were waiting for so called person to help us, we ordered some cup cakes and they were stale :((( never coming back and will let everyone know not to bother wasting time going there....

Plenty of seating, however, it can be tough to find a spot if it’s crowded and you’re looking to sit down and do some work on your laptop. Note they don’t allow laptops on weekends.

Probably the best brownies in Brooklyn, and they are vegan and gluten free. Lots of good vegan muffins and pastries, as well as sandwiches, the 'Schmancy' is very good. The only downside is it can be crowded on the weekends and food service can be a bit slow at times, but worth the wait.

Fantastic food! Breakfast burrito was the best! Kinda dissappointing that they still use cow milk for coffees though. Other than that, pastries and scone selection is great.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Their website states they on have cinnamon rolls Friday-Sunday. So I yravel from Midtown all the way there and no cinnamon rolls and the girl behind the counter said " I don't know when they will show up". So they don't even make them!!!!!

I have lived in BedStuy for 5 years now. I want to love Clementine, I’ve come here several times hoping for a better experience but I’ve been disappointed almost every time. And it’s not an experience that is just exclusive to me, my friends have experienced the same issue. The kitchen staff is HORRIBLE. There is always an issue with my order. Sometimes they are out of an ingredient and don’t even tell you, sometimes they will jus blatantly “forget” an ingredient that is supposed to in the item, and then best of all is when you ask for a modification and they can’t even keep up with that. It’s sad because I want to love this place, but I cannot pay $12 for a burrito that has only tofu and six leaves of spinach. How do you consciously put a PILE air tofu on a wrap and just hand it off? I don’t get it. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be ripped off.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love clementine. when we get hungry while out, or just too lazy to make food this is our quick food spot! The food is filling, well seasoned, and AFFORDABLE ! I also love their bakery items!

I got the breakfast scramble sandwich and wow first bite was so amazing!! My hubby got the sauerkraut something sandwich and he liked it.... went here to have buiscuits and gravy but they were sold out! Maybe next time! Prices were reasonable and we were happy with our food!

I would say this place is great except the customer service was so anti black I don't know if I'll come back. If you work anywhere let alone in bedstuy don't treat black folks who are paying customers like they have no value. I will be calling back to speak with a manager tomorrow since Taylor who works there wanted to treat me like I did something wrong when y'all messed up my order twice, she blamed it on me, and even had the audacity to say "here's your receipt so you can see what you ordered" - it took 45 minutes to get my food. Being a black person in bedstuy and being treated like you dont matter while white people eat to hip hop music is just violent, gentrification is violent.

One of the best vegan dessert spots but if you went in and didn't know it was vegan you wouldn't have realized it. So delicious. Be prepared for a small wait as it is a popular spot
