I just discovered this place and the food is delicious the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the music is amazing!!!!!

Andrea Takacs-Carvalho

Lovely place with small baked goods, vegan options of cookies and scones. It has a lot more personality than coffee chain stores.

Susan Young

Delicious food. Not a fan of the way you have to know what you want when you get to the front of the queue as there's no menus or anything with instructions, but the food is really good.

Victor Toal

Quick, coffee is ok, the cornbread I had was surprisingly good. Friendly, maybe not enough seats but that means more space when you are seated

Wonderful experience. The best Birdbath location of the three I have tried. The staff was exceptionally friendly and pleasant, easy to ask questions and generous with servings. The salads were great, and they had many of my favorites (the red cabbage salad, the vegetarian kale salad, the pretzel crusted chicken and the mushroom pasta salad). All of the salads were fresh and delicious. This location has A/C thankfully, since other locations don't, which makes all the difference in the summer. The store can be accessed through the lobby of the office building on either 44th or 45th st. Definitely recommended.

A small coffee is $3.00. That’s a ridiculously exoensive price. Order their fabulous baker’s muffin ($4.50), but SKIP the coffee!!

A niche little bakery a couple of blocks from the Grand Central Terminal. With filling breakfast sandwiches and specialty drinks and coffees, it is well worth a trip.

Chose to have coffee here this morning to about the huge line up at the green mermaid coffee place next door and had a good surprise. Very nice, helpful and upbeat staff (which is kind of unusual in New York). Just had an open face smoked salmon and egg salad sandwich and it was tasty and a healthier choice to start the day. The iced coffee was good but nothing special about it.

Cristina Aculova

Great staff! And there are vegan options :)

De très bon produits, mais des tarifs un peu cher. Des desserts délicieux

They staff was rude and were selfish with the salad with the chicken. Salad is served in a box and 4 salads mixed in one so it becomes one big mixed salad which is not good. The salad and sandwhich was the opposite of healthy and full of oil and they didn't now have gluten free. How great. The tables were so dirty and the waitress made a dirty face when I asked her to clean them in which she did a terrible job and left the table soaking wet where then I had to wipe it down myself eventually. Pointless. Don't come here. Don't be decived by the good reviews.

The best deal is to get the small box for salads and mix the kale and Brussel sprouts and then top it off with other veggie sides. It's so much food and so healthy, too!

Lovely place. I got sucked in by the hot chocolate but oh my god it was gross. Way too much chocolate and they had the audacity to charge $7 for it.

In a paper cup, I received my ladled hot cocoa with a corner of large white cubed marshmallow peeking above the surface. For those who have never had a homemade marshmallow before, this drink is a must try. The chocolate was rich, and the marshmallow was not overly sweet. The space is really nice with outdoor seating and not overly busy on a weekday. However, I asked the staff member about what made Birdbath green, and she offered a mediocre answer about using recycled materials and very little detail beyond general language that reminded me of green-washing.

Wonderful place to eat and socialize

On the "pricey" side for an inconspicuous location and wish they had extended hours. Seemingly great quality food, creative and healthful options. Seating is available (indoors and out). Education on ingredients and products could be improved for a "green" type of business. Pleasantly surprised when they were able to offer hemp milk in my espresso drink. I was told chocolate in warm/hot drinks soon available.

Good place for lunch or a good coffee.

Only tried their tea and coffee, always a good alternative to the overcrowded Starbucks next door. They also have seating

Just average. Food was out for a while and not fresh. Came at 12:15 on a week day

No menu, prices or list of ingredients. I got a medium salad for $13 and it turned out to be mostly big pieces of tough kale. The edible parts were good, though.
