First time I tried the raspberry fruit tart it was awesome, second time I tried the strawberry cheesecake, it was overall good but kind of disappointing because the strawberries were not fresh. They also seemed unwashed. Hope the owner can make it better.

I have been a customer of this bakery for awhile now. I have not had to put in a complaint until now. First of all, I am very upset with the customer service I received on my last visit. I don’t know the employees name so excuse me for saying it like this—a Spanish girl who works there was rude to me. I feel like she has something against me even though she doesn’t know me but some people are like that, unfortunately. I would hope that the owner sees this & takes it seriously. Also, and I was very surprised about this but the cannoli I bought was not fresh. First time this happens to me here but even this bakery can have an off day with pastries. I suppose I can chalk this up to that.

Fun and festive, but the baked goods themselves are only okay. @Bay Ridge Bakery, thanks for asking for specifics. I don't think Google has a way for me to respond to your response directly, so I'm adding more details here. - I think jam fillings in cookies were kind of skimpy. - The chocolate that you use for dipping cookies and covering rainbow cookies is pretty waxy. - I would venture to guess that most people prefer raspberry jam to apricot and orange, but you only have apricot and orange. - I felt like the cookies that form the base of the sprinkle + jam cookies aren't quite as tasty and nicely crumbly as at some other Italian bakeries. Thank you!

Our family has been going to this bakery for over 25 years. They used to own a little one on 69th Street and 4th if I could even remember that long ago. Lol They have always had the best desserts, cakes, cookies, bougatsa (my favorite) My sons favorite is the mouse cake and rainbow cookies and my husbands favorite is the koulourakia ...and still do. I have moved to Jersey almost 16 years ago and we go monthly to pick up our favorites. Sometimes even more everything is delish!!! Lovely family and great service always. Thanks for all your hard work we love you and your desserts..

Was recommended here by someone, the place is clean, your basic pastry, cakes and cookies. Which are great but my reason for 3 stars is the young lady must of had a bad day I ordered some pastries and wanted to place an order for a cake she told me I had up to two days to come in and order the cake. I told her that's why I'm here now and it's for Saturday she laughed in my face gave me my total for my pastries swiped my card and took the next guest. Just plain rude. Hopefully shes not like that with other guest.

Got a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and a strawberry cheesecake on New Year's eve. The place was super crowded but the crew at the bakery were handling the situation in a great mood. The cakes were raved at the party.

Just went to this bakery yesterday. First off I love that this place is open on Sundays. Totally convenient for customers in my opinion! The two ladies were extremely attentive from the moment I walked in. One of the ladies walked around the counter and asked which items I would like. All I did was point to about 6 different things, without naming any. And she returned shortly with them all correctly organized and securely wrapped. I got home and ate the first, which was a chocolate strawberry cake, in TWO bites. Imagine how the rest of the night went lol Best desserts I've ever had the pleasure of tasting! And enjoyed the service as well! Awesome!

Wish I could leave zero stars for my recent experience!!! Yesterday I went in and ordered a cake for my daughters birthday.Her birthday is on Dec 24,now mind you I have been a loyal customer for the last 10 years and spent tons of money in there!! So I told them I would need a cake for 7-10 people and first the owner she tells me they really don't do orders for cakes too close to Christmas which makes no sense to me since I have been ordering cakes for the last 6 years!! But the owner finally gave in and we agreed I have to pick the cake up on the 22nd 2 days before her birthday!! Fine,so now the girl at the counter tells me it will be $45. for the same cake I spent $28. on last year!!! So I left a $20. deposit and spent another $10. On cookies and left!!! Today I found that our flight plans have changed for Christmas week and we would have to cancel the cake because we would not be home until after Christmas!! So I went in today less than 24hours after placing the order and the girl at the counter today tells me the owner does not give refunds!! Well I find that hard to believe when you did make the cake that I left a deposit on!! She tells me they only give store credit!! Meanwhile I just dropped $30. yesterday!!! So I bought some pastries and I was on my way!! But I will never spend another dime in there again!! They are not the only bakery in town and believe me there are much better ones out there!! The fact that you want to rob customers around the holidays just shows you how greedy the owners really are and could not give a sh$t about their loyal customers!!! In August my father spent $8.00 on the same size cake for my mother so this only shows how they rob you around the holidays!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!! Response to owner:Look you are just mad because you know after 48 years your quality has slipped and you stopped caring and have let greed get the best of you!!! Have a Happy New Year!!!

This is a great family run greek bakery the owner is like a artist and has used pastries like a brush of a famous painter to create very hi grade sweets lots of French styles in his baking very hi grade chocolate and such great cakes for a event custom made to order I herd the owner even has a cd were he sings greek songs very cool

Truly a bad experience , Customers be aware!!! They got a license to steal during the holidays!! First we have been ordering birthday cakes for the family from them for years! The price was fair, the staff were nice, but until yesterday when we trying to order a cake for our daughter ‘s birthday on Christmas Eve, when we asked to order a simple 8 inch cake with flowers for a little girl, they said it will cost $45, normally something like this probably cost $25, and the owner said they are not going to accept any orders! However after we told them we had been ordering birthday cake during Christmas time for the last 6years , and we did finally put down $20 deposit for the cake, but over night we have to cancel the order because something has come up we are not going to be home for this holiday and of course the birthday cake that we had ordered will have to be canceled but when we went back to the bakery and asked for a cancellation and refund, they won’t do it, the staff said she have no problems with the refund, just the owner, they are not allowed to give a refund, but where is my cake?I just ordered it yesterday and you don’t even make my cake yet! Why you can’t refund my money??? This is the last time we come to the bakery for anything,especially with the owner’s refuse customer’s order!!! The order was with you come on now!!! My husband ordered the cake yesterday in the early afternoon probably around 11:00am.He told the owners wife who wears glasses what size cake and what date it was for along with the cashier.We wanted it to say Happy Birthday Kaylee!!!! My husband specifically said the cake size would be for 7-10 people not 20!! My husbands name is Paul and he cancelled it this morning and used the $20. Store credit to buy pastries!!
