Their bread pudding is amazing!!

Mark N

Great spot in Hoboken. It's a classy place without being pretentious. Great staff. Really nice cocktails

PashaBlack

Excellent service. Nice people. Beautiful atmosphere

Ludovic MASSON

Strongly recommend the place: drinks are very good, food is tasty, ambiance is awesome and people are very friendly. Unfortunately, you need to book if you want to eat, else you can have a chance to be at the bar (which is good too)

The menu was creative and different, but the service was incredibly slow for an 8:30 p.m. weeknight reservation. The items we got seem to be overly bread heavy, relying upon the bakery that supported this location before. The problem was the bread was incredibly hard, the kind that tears your mouth apart inside I did however like the burn to Edge lasagna which had incredible flavor, Mommy, and was very well prepared texture wise

Way over priced for very salty (but still decent tasting food). Went here recently on a work outing so the bill was covered, but I still have to say the price is absolutely rip-off worthy. First of all, they serve a chicken, which honestly tastes worse than a grocery store rotisserie, for $48!!! It's small and just tastes like...chicken. The only special thing is it comes with an herb sauce on the side. The appetizers are all $11. Regardless of what you get. Do NOT get the burnt Broccoli. It comes with 3 tiny heads of broccoli atop a small mound of essentially grits. The potatoes or the butternut squash are waaaay more food for the same $11. They should honestly price things differently. 3 pieces of broccoli for $11? Ripoff. Some cocktails are large, and some cocktails are about 2 sips for the $12 they cost. The beers are local "crafts" but run $9 a pint, so again, fairly pricey. The music is also obnoxiously loud. I had to shout to speak with my 2 other guests. I wasn't expecting the music to get ramped up to almost nightclub levels. The place was packed, but I won't be coming back as I feel it does not justify the prices they charge. It's just way overpriced for the portions and flavors. Everything was slightly too salty or buttery. Even a simple pasta dish will run you around $30 here.

Michael Bolls

Got a seat here relatively fast and staff was super helpful. Loved the food but the Greek Fries were a bit underwhelming. Try to avoid those if the waiter recommends them to you. Wine, beer, and other drink choices are pretty well selected. Expect things more on the hipster/yuppie side. Less mass-produced beers and more microbreweries. Location is a bit hidden but I enjoy that if I'm trying to run away from the crowds. Though, business hours can be sometimes weird.

Hard to believe this is Hoboken. Very, very good food with attentive staff and a lively atmosphere (if a little loud). The plantain appetizer, the pasta dishes, the bread pudding dessert - all top notch, the kind of thing that would deserve kudos in Manhattan. The lousy reservation system (something about being on a "guest list"? No clue what that meant in the end) and sometimes disorganized service can be forgiven.

Matthew Hartsough

I love the concept of Antique but the execution is horrible. For a bakery to not provide bread to every table, only having a $15 bread basket, is offensive. My medium rare burger was delivered well done, the waitress seemed burdened by taking it back, and the replacement was barely cooked. The waitress billed the restaurant as food allergy friendly then delivered a meal for someone with a dairy allergy with a piece of bread slathered in butter then said just don't eat the bread. For a restaurant where dinner for 2 easily approaches $200, these things can't happen. There are better places in town to spend your money.

John Gonzalez

Staff is amazing very helpful. Food is up to par the ribeye is a must try best I've had thus far gives Peter Luger a run for its money. Atmosphere is great and the theme is interesting. Definitely will come back.

Rich Lerner

What an amazing place. Historic location really cool coal-fired oven and inspired cuisine in a laid-back atmosphere

Pearl Stars

This place can compete with any great place in Manhattan. You feel ten times better the moment you step in. This place has the fun vibe to free you from the outside world. The service is great. The bar can accommodate your likes and dislikes. The menu is absolutely worth every moment you spend there. I haven't tried everything on the menu but I will definitely. They bake their own bread and yes it is perfect. The place also offers outside seating. Bring a fun company to make sure that you do enjoy your time. I highly recommend bread pudding which can serve three to four people easily. Also, their seasonal pie is a treat in Fall. If you can't visit for dinner, try out their brunch.

Todd Maloof

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and amazing hosts. These guys have really taken the essence of Hoboken and brought it back to life with this spot. Food is on point and that oven still works wonders after all these years. Great spot!

John Ozed

Quite popular and crowded, then again it was a beautiful summer night...

Rodney Longfellow

Food was amazing. Atmosphere was cozy and eclectic. They have one of the coolest (I should say hottest!) coal fired ovens. It's over 100 years old! When it was a bakery, Frank Sinatra used to buy his "sticks" here. They make their house made mozzarella to order. The steaks and sauces and sides were all to die for! Full bar. Friendly, accommodating staff. Will be a regular here for certain.

Jonathan Bennett

Food, drinks, and service were all excellent

Daniel deCavaignac

Dinner for 2 on a Wednesday night. Atmosphere and service were both really good and we liked our cocktails a lot but the food prep and value were in the C grade range, We ordered the specialty $130 rib eye and it wasn’t nearly the cut it should have been and it was not prepared well. It was very salty and the charred lemon overpowered the meat. The $11 per dish sides were also unrefined, The potatoes were in a puddle of grease and the Brussels were smothered with bbq sauce. Overall, we spent $300 with wine and tip. I would go back, but only for a pasta.

Elizabeth R

Awesome dj, great cocktails, beautiful decor. make reservations if u want to eat on fri or sat :)

Eli Nahmias

Food, decor, and staff are

Eric Williams

Great restaurant and bar. Love the oven and it's delicious effect on the for they serve here.

Johnny Avanti

Awesome bartender

Paul Benson

What’s not to love about this place. The prices are reasonable. The food...... amazingggggg The drinks delicious. The atmosphere was simply electric. The staff were busy but very friendly. We waited for a table overlooking the brick oven and it was well worth the wait. As the evening wound down we bought some shots for our waitress and her buddy and we ended up doing shots with all the staff. It was fun from beginning to end. Go and be willing to wait for a table, have some drinks while you wait and soak up the hustle and bustle.

J. Cody Fletcher

Best restaurant in New Jersey! Chef Paul, Montique, and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, helpful you name it. And the FOOD is some of the BEST!

Mark Chandler

Wonderful aged beef

Henry Smith

Grace is awesome. The food is good too.

Mari B

Excellent place. Food was absolutely amazing, well presented, original plates. Friendly staff and accommodating to a large group. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Bloody Mary was 'weak' and one plate came much later (out of our 8 people). Definitely will be back.

Jeremie Pettit

This is hands down the best place to eat in Hoboken. Coolest atmosphere, AMAZING food, truly tip notch service. And their social media game is on point! Very well thought out and executed down to the smallest details.

Carlos Perdomo

Forts time here; won't be my last. Everything was delicious, and the bread pudding was rediculous! To sum it up... Great food, great service, great place!

David Orr

Tried the spinach quiche and an espresso. Decent espresso, quiche was a bit salty for my taste. There is an open kitchen. You can watch the chefs and see the bread oven from the bar. Plenty of seating inside for the outdoor tables are full. Staff is nice, if a little bit dazed and confused.

Jason Nickel

Listen. I live in Manhattan. I'm blessed. With great food, I mean. Luckily I have pals in Hoboken who know how much I love to eat. This place feels like I'd have to wait 2 months just to get a reservation for in the city. Not that it wasn't just packed when I showed up. Incredible food with fun and innovative specials. Wine list was a little light, but the cocktail menu certainly made up for it. This joint is absolutely worth any wait.

Valentina Mishkov

We have been talking about coming here for several months and are disappointed we hadn’t come sooner! Such a unique space with romantic lighting. We sat at a corner high top that had prime views of the open kitchen. The food was so delicious and the staff was extremely attentive. I’d recommend trying everything on the menu because everything we had was delicious!

Ilan Pollak

awesome vibe and great food

William Castillo

It's always good very original

Dvid Silva

Amazing music. Service is excellent, great variety of cocktails at the finest quality. Checkout the milkshake too and come any day of the week to hang with current friends or make new ones.

Aayush Gupta

Bakery and cool placr for food in old brick oven, had a local whisky on rocks, the people are nice, just ask for the history

Zaydell Caceres

Cute little spot

Jake Redman

Pricey but good food. Baked goods are fun and tasty

Ronnie Magri

Antique Bar & Bakery is an amazing place to eat or just go for the cocktails. Great music, good vibes, and cool setting. The staff was nice and well-organized. Food was to die for & big portions. Love the oven!!! Cocktails are delicious and reasonable. Always fun and will definitely be coming back again!

David Moore

The atmosphere is great with the oldest and largest coal fired oven in the area. Cozy seating and quality service. The mussels were super tasty and come with bread to soak up the sauce. Our favorite dish was the spinach spaghetti that was packed with flavor. Also the Manhattan is super smoky and hit the spot.

Jo Hayes

Yummy spicy red mussles! If you're into desert the bread pudding for the table is massive and very good.

Dan Sternick

Amazing hidden gem - the food is amazing - definitely some interesting twists on familiar dishes - eclectic decor - service is legit - it used to be an old bakery with a coal fire oven - apparently this is where Sinatra would buy his bread

Laura Travieso

Great atmosphere! Great bartender ! Great drinks and food!! Excellent restaurant.

LaRissa You

Expensive but convenient neighborhood locale

Pierre Asselin

Everything is really good here but all the food comes out at random times so it's best to share. Everything we had was really good except the broccoli rabe was over cooked and left a bitter taste in your mouth. The price wasnt too bad especially for the quality of the food I've paid much more for worse. We were so full at the end of the meal we didn't order dessert but we wish we had. The neighboring table got this massive bread pudding that they said was really good. I'll have to go back just for that!

David Torres

Incredible restaurant, amazing food and great service.

Jessica Amaro

Cocktails are really good. The Bartenders really seem to know what they are talking about. My Manhattan was very good, first one off the menu and the second one with Widow Jane. The atmosphere can be a little loud and i s place is always packed so i recommend going early or late night if you don't like the crowd but the decor is gorgeous. The food can be amazing or boring, never bad but i had the burratta and it was out of this word, the sweet cheeks.... Not so much. Sausage bread was good and ever better left over the next day!

Jim Mannoia

Great if you can get in at the right time but it can get really crowded and have a long wait (as of late 2017). Good food and a fun place to hang out. Brunch options are good too.

PRINCESS B

Came for brunch the African American girl who seats you is rude and didn’t seem like she wanted to be bothered. The coffee is disgusting, food was just okay but not worth the price.

Michael Redmond

Drinks very good. Very crowded on Friday night when I went. High energy and really loud. Mostly a younger crowd.

Georgia Guttadauro

Baricua breakfast amazing. Huevos Rancheros average. Everything was way over priced. Even a bread basket was $16. Service was horrible. Took over 5 min to get attention for hot sauce. Never came to check in to see if food was okay, etc.

Joshua Delle Donne

Went here with a party of three. Mixed feelings on the experience. Food there was winners and losers as well as little surprises like a $20 desert. My mistake for not looking at the price or asking. The drinks were good will most likely return with better knoledge on what to have and what not to bother with

Abby Washuta

I'm embarrassed to admit that I am the kind of person who turns up and doesn't examine prices too closely. It's bougie but true bc for the most part if I'm going to be out, I know what things cost in the NYC area and I'm OK with it. But we were shocked when we got the bill to see that 8 shrimp were $32. For apps and drinks it was 170 without tip. Now totally my fault for not looking more closely but the food is not nearly worth that and really 6 bucks a shrimp may border on insulting. $15 for a random glass of wine off not high end wine is high for NYC although not insane. I guess id go back for one drink. We go big a lot and I don't mind doing so, but this place isn't reasonable. So very cute and good service and it was nice to sit outside, but maybe this needs to be more like $$$$ than $$$.

David S

Holy cow the food! Cool atmosphere as well. Can't wait to go back.

Kevin Arms

Excellent choice.. Ask for Q

Mercedes Herman

I had so much about this place..it did not live up to my expectations , this a an over priced, badly prepared menu. For two people to ( we spilt the bill 76 and tip foe each one)the deviled egg appetizer, simple, and small egggs..the squash was pleseant, and the salty burger, with cold french fries was over cooked, the mimosa were good and the dessert was really bad the sticky buns were gummy and cold and the chocolate cake was old and no amount of greasy frosting could cover this..this is a place I would not recommend. It was 200.00 we could of spent some place else. The service people were nice.

dru kapadia

Full on flavor on everything we ate. All the fancy is in the food in a cozy setting. A bit corny old house vibe but it works. Only down side is finding parking and pricy but overlooked by a great dinner with friends will make your evening priceless.

Matthew Halper

Great spot! We went with the Ribeye. Nice touches all around. It was a bit fatty for a prime Ribeye but nicely done.

Ralph Blevins

I really enjoyed their food. I always get great customer service there. The place is clean and the workers are always super friendly. Will come back again.

Sara Moogan

Food was decent, decor was adorable, seat time too slow. Went for an 8pm reservation for 4 people on a Friday night. Didn’t get seated until 9pm. Was complimented with a round of drinks and a rice ball app which was amazing. Mussels and the homemade mozzarella special were outrageously delicious. The shrimp was way too spicy and overpriced. We also got the steak and the eggplant side which were nice. We ended with the cookie dessert...wow!! My coffee was clearly out all day. So yea, fun experience, cool drinks, but not overly impressed with the inconsistency.

Maureen DeLong

Off the beaten path, but well worth it. If there's one place in this town that I feel understood and connected, it's here. The drinks and eats are on point. Always.

Shemeeka Greaves

The cutest public bathroom I've seen in Hoboken. The space is really narrow but the staff were cool. Really comfortable seating and the coat hangers along the wall are perfect because this space is really narrow.

Uncle Steve

Excellent food, service, & drinks. Real fresh ingredients. Inside an old bread factory with a really old unique coal oven which they use to cook a lot of the food!

Fabio Almeida

Nice place in Hoboken. The environment was super nice and the service was amazing. The food was good and the drinks were below expectations. I hope to come back.

Jamie Krusewicz

I feel like they're trying too hard be cool but who am I to judge when they're always crowded and they've squeezed so many tables into their tiny space now that you can not even get up from the table without knocking something off tjd table next to too you with a random part of your body that you are trying so hard to make skinnier. They're expensive and I think over priced. I used to love around the corner and wished it could be my go to spot bit at their prices, didn't happen. I must say- If you go through all the work to make everything so "hip" and perfect ... Use nice hand soap in the bathrooms. PLEASE! All that work they do to be cool and they use generic soap. I couldn't believe it!

Matthew Goczalk

Went in expecting the hype to be over-exaggerated but was pleasantly surprised and amazed at the steak. Great char on the outside, nicely rare inside. Large place on the inside with ample room to move around. I'd say part of the reason a reservation is needed is due to them under stuffing tbe place with tables. Dark inside and very loud music so expect to be yelling across the table to be heard. Nice cocktails as well. Steak is actually pretty good price, but I'd have a hard time saying the sides are worth the price.

Marsha Rothschild

SusieCakes makes the best chocolate cake in Hoboken, NJ! My husbent and I love it! We've sampled their whoopie pies and other cakes and they are all good but they cannot compare to the chocolate cake. The slices are very large - one slice is enough for two people.

Marta Silverberg

What a disappointment. A friend recommended this place the service was 100% amateur my frittata was tasty but dry the steak and eggs would have been ok if they have been taken out of the sizzling plank the most outrageous of it all was that they charged 59 dollars for a bottle of wine that was horrible we have had 6 dollars wine that was better than that the other outrageous thing was to charge 6 dollars for the bread (after all you are in a bakery) in fact the bread tasted horrible I get baguettes in the acme for 2.99 dollars that taste better the bill came up to 113 dollars for lunch what a waste of money and time!

Bill Segulin

Experience only based on a quick trip to the bar. The carry on tap Departed Soles a local brewery with a line of excellent craft beers. The atmosphere and feel of Antique Bar & Bakery is comfortable almost like a "second hand" store. Not to be confused with old and musty, its a good consist theme which reminds me of a boutique shop. Friendly and welcoming staff so now I need to try the food.

Tomek Plonski

Bread is very good, place nice, a little bit expensive

Luis Mordan

I was pleased with the food and drinks. Service was great until after 6PM when it became overly crowded. I felt like I was begging for attention to get the servers attention. A bit over priced as well.

shettara115

Place was to die for!! I cannot wait to go back!! I recommend it to anyone in the area of visiting!!

Superior Pest

The food was exceptional and the service was just as good. Reservations are a must . Definitely a go to place

Nathan C Rhodes

The place has great vibes, and is the only bar without a TV in Hoboken (if anyone knows of any others please let me know). The 60s-70s Italian vibe feels great, and everything from music to decor is pleasant and well curated. They didn't miss anything here. The only negative is that the beers and specialty cocktails, at $9 and $14, respectively, IMHO are a bit too expensive. I think $7.50 and $12, respectively, would be more reasonable, as the current prices are more in line with Chelsea and the West Village. The food is excellent, too, and the old brick oven is a sight to behold. Definitely a gem in a town chock full of sports bars and pubs plastered in wall-to-wall TVs. AB&B dares to be different and largely succeeds.

Alex Higgins

Cool place with delicious food and nice staff

Beth Horta

Get yourself here now. Incredible food and atmosphere to match. Loved everything about this place, totally worth it for a special occasion. You will remember every special detail with the warmest of memories.

What A Joke

A must go place .. they have the BEST over-priced drinks and undercooked food in Hoboken. In addition, $40 cake cutting fee is highway robbery. #WutAJoke.

Michael Bonner

Very cool energy...excellent food!

Norm Rasmussen

The atmosphere is what makes this place. The unique variety of drinks and good service made conversation easy and flowing and the experience extremely pleasant.

Orlando lima

The service is AMAZING, the serves are cool and nice style! The food is ***********AMAZING *************** my favorite food is the peas and Parmesan rice balls!

A Seidenfeld

We just wanted a glass of Chardonnay, any Chardonnay. It came to fifteen dollars, plus tax and tip. It was pretty mediocre. I don't know exactly what it was; I didn't ask for anything special. To me, that seems expensive. Even overpriced. Or as my wife noted, "That's ridiculous!" I know I can get an outstanding glass of wine at superb, fancy Midtown restaurants for $11. Yet the place was packed! I suppose you can't argue with success. I think they ought to charge more and more and more money until the place is not quite so crowded; it was hard not to be in your neighbor's face. Maybe some people have too much money, or don't know how to spend wisely. Or maybe I don't have enough. I guess the place is trendy at the moment. Maybe I'm too old. Don't order the Chardonnay.

Reggie Bourdeau

Bar and beer totally awesome- food not worth the prices unfortunately. Oven may be an antique but is only cool to the point when it burns your food and chokes you....thank God for the beer! for me the wait was endless too.

Melvin Joel

Hoboken hidden gem!

Adam Adlerman

Boriqua breakfast. Absolute

Louis Reyna

Ok, nothing spectacular.

Allen Pascual

Went to the Antique Bakery tonight with another couple. Food and atmosphere was excellent. I'm ok with the cramped seating. Actually like it. Had an 8:30 reservation, was seated at 9:10. Ok with that too. Had a few libations waiting for our table. Here is why I gave the Antique Bakery 4 stars. Plain and simple, appetizers came out 40 minutes after we sat and dinner came out at 11pm. Unacceptable.. at that point we ate dinner in 5 minutes, got the check and skipped the dessert. Maybe this was the exception. Not sure, first time there. Again food was excellent. Just couldn't enjoy it..

KC Abramson

Best food I've had in a long time. Lobster pasta was to die for. 1 hr wait with reservation and still happy to give it 5 stars. Very Brooklyn-esque. I can't believe I just ate 1/4 of an octopus. It was grilled to perfection.

Christian Ferreira

Great place, definitely plan on going back again.

Young Koepke

Had a wonderful wedding anniversary dinner here- the foods and drinks are spectacular, and staffs were very friendly. Will be back for more special occasions!

Gregory Bryan

This was my second time at antique bar and bakery for dinner. Again, it did not disappoint - food is just delicious here! Our party of 8 agreed it was probably the best dinner we've ever had Hoboken. Looking forward to come back many many times!

Marina Mariy

Love this place! Delicious brunches, especially burger and búrica! Decor is cool, waiters are nice. But some items are overpriced... and some desserts are pure sugar and fat .

Sym Cardnel

Over priced and tired.

Raul Avila

Cool environment, unique dishes, delicious refreshments

Jeremy McCurdy

Chef Paul Gerrard uses his experience with both Italian and French cuisine to put on an absolute show here. There's a century old bread oven that gets to 2000 degrees F which is used to do things like sear the steak and burger, and the flavors you get from this are unlike most other things you've ever eaten.. really incredible. The Dirty Ribeye and the Buried Bones (ribs) are a must, as are the shrimp, the shishitos, and pretty much everything else. Great vibe here as well.. cannot recommend it enough. Enjoy!

Wendy Worden

An amazing meal served with flair. Try the priest stranglers and make sure to experience sitting in the back by the kitchen. Delightful!

Michael Rabadi

The cocktails are very good. The food was good for the area. It was expensive, but the prices were reasonable given the demand. The service was great, the staff clearly works hard and cares about customers... however the seating was a mess... I was eating with people ordering drinks over my head and putting their glasses in our food....

Dave Curran

I gush when I think about this place. We had a reservation but didn't want to wait for it so we went at right about opening to see if they would take us early. Not only did they take us, they gave us extra bread, the host came and sat with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. They did not know this but it was my birthday and they made the night really nice. The host even hooked us up with a free fresh baguette that we used to make french toast the next morning. I can't wait to be a repeat customer many times over. Not to mention the food was outrageous. I would kill for more of the mussels appetizer.

Tameekah Myers

The food was good, reminds of a Farm-to-table style of dining

Jeff Daphnis

Amazing atmosphere and food and service was excellent!!

Bobby Guliani

120 years old bakery with a 100 year old oven. I think they must have mastered the art of bread making by now:) Under new owners they even have a bar and restaurant. Unbelievably friendly staff. If you dont give them 5 stars, you must be a self obsessed @%^*

Ludovic Cabre

Nice cocktail and appetizers

Randy Kansky

Long time bread bakery renovated into a trendy neighborhood restaurant and bar. Great cocktails. Friendly, talented bartenders. Innovative menu.

Michael Desousa

Coolest spot in Hoboken, really cool "east village" feel to this place with a lot of history (I heard Sinatra use to order bread from this place way back in the day when it was a different business) Anyway the food isnt cheap but its worth it. I normally get the octopus ($65) and the chicken. I have been dreaming about it for weeks. Very friendly staff that are all super excited about all of the specials and what they are offering. I would also like to give a shout out to the Dj, great fun 70s/80s music. I love coming here

John Khouzam

They have good pasta

Peter Tosto

I recently was visiting my brother on the Lower East Side and he mentioned this place in Hoboken has the best steaks. I am not a huge meat eater I lean toward veges and fish but he insisted the steak was worth tasting. I said it better be if we are going over to Hoboken. The trip over was closer than heading up to the upper east side and the vibe was much cooler than i remember Hoboken was in the 80s when i worked in Jersey City. We arrived about 8 30 and the place was very cool, I enjoyed the feel quite a bit. I favor older buildings that have some history which this place has. The server was attentive not overbearing especially when I ordered tap water. Told her I would make it up with all the food I would order my lack of drinking. We ordered a few appetizers but remember we came for the steak and the steak we got was cooked to perfection (fired) I mean. The place has a 30 ton oven I think that uses coal to cook the food so in essence the Chef is cooking with Fire. The steak really was amazing. I have been to Ruth Chris at least 10 times Smith and Wollensky over 100 times, use to be a regular for several years and slipped in a few visits to Shula's as well. All of their steaks are highly respectable but they typically all fall along the same line of flavor, with Antique it was different the flavor the presentation the tenderness I mean as much as I myself yearn to want to be a vegan it's a steak like this that throws me off the rails. If I lived up here in Hoboken or even in Manhattan I would find myself falling off the red meat wagon and doing pounds of this steak. Thank God I am back in Atlanta the home of Longhorns and Outback I am safe at least for while. My brother was right which I hate to say best steak I ever had. I left a good tip and took into account the amount of waters I had.

Jennifer Bate

Awesome food and drinks

Taran Kaur

Went here for a birthday dinner, overall solid experience. The reason they lost me on 2 stars is because of how tight knit the space is and the prices just not matching the food. I'm the first person in line to splurge on good eats and don't mind spending $$$ for amazing delicious and quality meals. But the $300+ tab for a party of 2 just wasn't worth it to me. We got mussels, hot oil shrimp, the dirty rib eye at MP, and the cookie with milk ice cream for dessert with a 2 cocktails I believe. The mussels were average, shrimp was literally 5 or 6 pieces for $30+ which I found insane. Dirty rib eye was definitely worth trying but don't think I'd get it again, it's an experience thing rather than something you get each visit. Dessert was cool but just a good ole cookie with ice cream that you could get most places. Overall we had great conversation and the drinks were a hit for us, a place you want to try once and check off your list for sure because of the vibe. If I went back I'd go for a drink and hopefully more spacious table.

Gerry O'Reilly

Very disappointed. Service was poor. Dishes were more suited to an insta story than actually tasting of much. When we arrived we ordered some beers. Only one choice on offer but then we were told they had run out of beer!! To top off the experience it was very very expensive in comparison to some other of the best restaurants in Hoboken.

Sheila Hoffman

This is my go to place whenever I am in the city. I make a special trip over to Hoboken to eat at Antique Bar and Bakery. No restaurant compares to this place when you consider the great drinks, cool vibes, eclectic atmosphere and joyful staff, not to mention the wonderful fresh food. Anytime I travel with friends I take them with me and they rave about it. My favorite cocktail has got to be 'All The Way'. Definitely a treat when I am in the city. Love you guys!

Lidia Shong

NYC prices, NJ quality We were shocked at the prices on the menu. $10 for garlic bread and a $22 dessert! This is not a Michelin star restaurant but a neighborhood eatery with no frills and a lot of smoke from the rotisserie/oven. So these prices are unwarranted. We ordered a 1/2 chicken and a side of fries to share. The fries were so salty, we couldn't eat them. The chicken was very small and it looked more like quail. Overall, a big disappointment.

Caroline Lacaille

Just discovered this little jewel today for brunch. I had the shrimp and grits and had a blast. Loved it and will come back!!

Joe Palozzi

Great menu and terrific preparations. Hot coal roasted steaks are not too be missed. And in addition, great coffee and pastries.

Andrew Monshizadeh

Fun spot with delicious brick oven baked goods. Perfect for brunch and dinner. Especially great are the sticky buns and filled breads.

george ziccardi

Amazing experience. One of a kind. Loved it

Jonathan Cohen

The food here is great. However, seating is a disaster unless you like sitting elbow to elbow with the people at the next table. And be sure to check your credit card bill: the tip and total amount I left was changed and I got charged more than what I signed for. Extremely disappointing for a restaurant that could be terrific.

Dino Martin

An outstanding 6 Star experience! The food is AMAZING! The service is second to none! When u go ask for Andre (The maître d’) and Andrew (Waiter) u will not be disappointed! Clean environment, all for the staff is on the same page it's like they are singing in unison but instead of singing they are preforming to such an expert level to give u the best experience. We had a great time! Every restaurant need an Andre and Andrew! We love this place and are customers for life!!

Elizabeth Buono

Beautiful quaint atmosphere.. love the decor service friendly... Had a really nice time with really great peps❣️

Karthikeyan Sivanantham

Casual dining atmosphere; one of the best seafood I’ve had, especially the hot oil shrimp sauce which was amazing. Will go back again

Brendan McGeown

Great atmosphere great food. The open kitchen to the dining room is an amazing way to experience a meal being prepared for you

Antique is one of the best places in Hoboken. They are great every time we come here. The service, drinks, atmosphere, and food are all exceptional. I cannot say enough great things about this place!! I am and will be a repeat customer!

I have been to Antique bar a bakery a few times and it was one of my favorite places to go in Hoboken, until last night. I had 2 friends coming into town from out of state so I made a reservation there for 6:30pm - their policy is that they take the reservation and they will seat you within 1 hour of that time. My friends arrived at 6:30pm and said to the host I think the reservation is under Kristen. The host was beyond rude to them, mocking them saying “you think? What do you mean you think... you’re not on the list”. This was just the start of his rude and uncalled for behavor. I have honestly never been treated so poorly by any public place. When he realized we were in fact on “the list”, he said it will just be a minute for the table. We wait until 8:15 pm, when a different host came over and offered us garlic bread at the bar while we continue waiting, she said she was sorry for the wait and wants us to come back there in the future so she was making a nice gesture. She brings over the garlic bread and says your table is ready you can enjoy this there. Walks is over to the table and there are people sitting at it. The other rude male host gave the table to some else. So now we have given up our bar seats, the garlic bread offered to us is no where to be found, and we’ve now been waiting for over 2 hours. The host disappeared, and didn’t even tell us how much longer it would be. We walked out at this point. It was completely ridicuous and inconvenient. We wanted to have an early dinner and now it was almost 9pm. I have never been treated so poorly by any restaurant. The male host was the most disrespectful person I have encountered. I would absolutely never go back here. My sister had a terrible experience here a few months earlier where she waited over 2 hours for her meal and the restaurant begged her and her boyfriend to stay, and covered their bill. She said not to go back there and I should have listened. Terrible service, terrible people. They clearly don’t know how to run a restaurant.

I had originally visited Antique when it was a bakery with breads and stuffed breads, which were quite good. It has now changed into a trendy restaurant, but still serves delicious bread & bread rolls. Their new dishes are also excellent. The highlight was a skillet chocolate cookie for dessert, but we also had excellent chicken and beef entrees along with tasty sides. The only disappointing dish, ironically, was the bread pudding for dessert. Overall, I liked this place.

Very nice and cozy with very nice server. The building has a ton of history wrapped up inside and the wait staff are very knowledgeable Fresh baked goods, pastry, and bread.

Just a teaser, I only had a Java but so adorable I need to go back. Truly open kitchen, dedicated management, interesting menu....I can't wait to try the food.

This was a great find, my boyfriend and I were walking trough Hoboken and he saw this on his map, we decided to walk by, and the surprise we found was amazing, the entrance looks like a cute antique bakery, but when you walk inside the ambiance starts showing, classy and creative decorations, the smell of that food, perfectly created cocktails, just a dream! Go get a cocktail with your friends, or have a romantic date with those cute deemed lights... just enjoy yourselves!

The restaurant had an event in the bar area the night we dined. It was a crazy crush and the hostess had us waiting in a bottleneck while she checked in parties who came in after us for over 10 minutes after we checked in. Bizarre! The food was good and the server was nice but they seemed overwhelmed. Cocktails were pretty good!

Vibe unlike any place in Hoboken. The food is delicious. But seriously, the atmosphere is fantastic. Oldies playing in the background at perfect volume as the kitchen works in the open and the aroma of food and a coal burning oven fills the air.

Paul Marvin

Great menu, cool scene, bathroom is kinda weird though.

Food was good. Service was good. Downgraded by a star as it was way too loud. Average of 75db peaking at 80. Very difficult to have a decent conversation.

My 12 girl friends and I had dinner here for one of the nights of my bachelorette weekend and it was absolutely incredible! Our server was amazing (I wish I could remember her name, she was truly wonderful). The woman who greeted us (I believe it may have been the owner or manager) was so accommodating, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dinner. On top of amazing service, their food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

Excellent, and our server, Kimberly was outstanding.
