Picacho Mountain

This is my new favorite little place to get my morning coffee and muffin. Staff is really friendly and coffee is great. I am really loving their cranberry pecan muffins which aren't overly loaded with sugar like many places. They have a breakfast and lunch menu which I have been meaning to try. Only reason this place doesn't get a 5 star is their kitchen isn't vented very well and the smell of whatever they are cooking can stick to your clothes when you leave. Not ideal when you're headed to work. But they have a drive through, so we'll call it 4.5 ;-).

Food, service, & atmosphere are all great here! I had the orange lavender tea and my boyfriend had an iced chai tea, to eat we had the potato soup & a bavarian cream pastry. It was all delicious! Especially the orange lavender tea, never tried anything like it, it was served in a large mason jar with free refills.The man who served us was very genuine and kind. Will definitely be back!!

Delicious food, but the best thing is the people and the atmosphere. My favorite dishes are the chorizo deluxe burrito (they make their own chorizo), veggie omelette, and their hamburger soup. My kids love the nutella toast (they make their own bread) and veggie omelette. We all love their Italian sodas (soy and almond milk available). My family and I love coming to this place for breakfast and lunch! Nessa and her family are so sweet!

I love Nessa’s! Funky, mellow, welcoming and the best iced coffee in Cruces. This little cafe has become a meeting place for a cross-section of our town. It’s small, people are friendly and the personal touch of kitchen and wait staff is total Cruces. Get yourselves over there for extremely good bakery, breakfast/lunch specials and—a wonderful touch—the drive-through window! Tell them Cookie sent you :)

Stopped by this cafe because of the charming pictures online. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions. They have only one vegan option, but it's a good one: the Mason Jar salad. It was lovely and tasted fresh. I had my iced coffee with almond milk and a flavor shot of lavender. It tasted heavenly! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Las Cruces. I was impressed with the customer service, the way they plated their food, and the pride they take in their made-in-house recipies. Visit if you get the chance!

One of our favorite places to vist after a long day of shooting local commercials. The coffee is always fresh, pastries are freshly made and they treat my dog like family. If you are hungry for breakfast the food is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

Eclectic place, messed up my coffee order, ordered special, kale and mushroom quiche.....they were out of mushroom. Had to ask that my ordered pastry be served, which came after my quiche. Customers were a mixed group of 20/30 yr somethings, and local shelter folks. Quiche was more like a pop over with little filling, pastry was great, and the coffee once taken out of the togo cup was not hot any longer.

A year after the review below I'm still enjoying Nessa's great pastries, coffee, and food. But more importantly, the friendly staff always provides amazing service. Today they went above and beyond. I fumbled my latte and it spilled all over the roof of my car and down the windshield. One of the awesome staff members saw my gaf, and lept into action. Before I knew it my car was rinsed off and I had a fresh latte in hand. Honestly, there's no one better in town. -- I absolutely love this little place. It was recommended to me by my professor and I can't quit going back. The pastries are devise and the cloudy eggs were so so good. The interior is super eclectic and comforting. Check them out!

I look forward to their weekly specials. This week was the pulled pork conebread - which out of all of their homemade bakes is the best - it was delicious. Would have been 5 star worthy had it been more pulled pork forward and less mac n cheese. The coffee is always great whether hot or iced. The ambience is low key whether with their selection of music or if by live guitarist. A nice getaway from the busy grind.

We love this place and come here weekly. The environment is homey and unique. The pastries are always fresh and delicious, this is definitely the neighborhood spot! The owners are more than warm and the coffee is worth every penny. Everything is priced more than fair, and the menu items are just as good as they sound.
