This bakery holds up to any bakery anywhere in terms of the quality and freshness of its offerings. The style is rustic. You won't find cupcakes or mille feuille here. Green chile sourdough and rye bread are standards here along with red chile chocolate cookies and mixed berry empanadas. Savory empanadas are on the menu too. Things are made fresh and hours are limited, so always best to call in advance if you know what you want.

Delicious empanadas and amazing green Chile sourdough! We walked in & smell was awesome. They were chopping a squash. Just fresh & local greatness. Super friendly too!

This place has been around for a while, it's really what bakery is,to the post and no bull, giggle, I like there cookies. It's a little out the way, but yeah it's worth the detour.

This is a rare jewel of a bakery that offers the kind of slow-rise sourdough breads that are very difficult to find outside of a few cities on the East and West coasts and Europe. The Khorasan wheat loaf in particular is world class but I don’t think you can go wrong here. If this bakery were in San Francisco or Portland there would be lines out the door.
