So, I am giving this two starts because we had met with the owner I believe and she was very nice and she suggested we come back for a cake tasting. About two months went by and I emailed Bizzy B Cakes to see if we could set up an appointment for cake tasting.... I never received a response back and its been maybe over three weeks? That is where the lack of the three stars come in. Every bakery is busy, I understand that especially it being wedding season, but you lose customers when you show poor service.

I planned a surprise 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents - long distance, as I live in Texas. I knew I wanted both a cake and some cupcakes, and had a picture to convey the idea. I spoke with Brittany once; the rest of the communication was by email. I chose her based upon reviews, her listed flavors, and pics of her work. She didn't disappoint! I ordered a lemon cake with lemon curd filling, and a buttercream icing: the filling was SO bright, the cake moist. My cupcakes were dark chocolate with a peanut butter cream cheese icing; and her apple pie cupcakes. The apple pie cupcakes were literally little apple pies. The peanut butter icing had the perfect peanut butter flavor. I received so many compliments from my guests. Even one of the caterers asked from where I had ordered them! Brittany - thank you SO much for everything. You were so easy to work with, and you're a great baker! Thanks for working with me, thanks for the early delivery, and thanks for the great products! Best pastries ever! I waited for the ham & cheese and almond croissants as they had run out, but in ten minutes I had warm, delicious pastries to take with me. The kouign amann was also yummy!!

I was super excited when I found this place after searching for so long. It has great reviews and the initial consultation went great...so I thought. I had two other people with me during the consultation and I went over what I wanted with Brittney. Its was simple: semi-naked angle food cake, with fruit around it, fruit inside, three tier, whip cream, real edible flowers and herbs on top. I showed many many many pictures of what I wanted. I explained in great detail what I wanted. Brittney took a lot of notes and we paid in full that day ( which was 3 months before my wedding). Fast forward 3 days before my wedding. My mother-in-law called Brittney to confirm time of delivery. Well, they said that they did not receive the deposit and had called. Well, I dont know who she called because my mother-in-law is a planner and would never not call someone back. So, basically they lost the order. And when I got pictures of the cake after it was delivered it had frosting flowers on the top.....not at all what I showed her or said. Plus, no fruit on the inside. I did get a 1/2 refund back but I will never ever go through this bakery ever. I clearly told Brittney that they were real edible flowers many many time and showed her so many photos. I was not mad, just disappointed and I told you that. You never told us you did not know what real edible flowers were or we had to provide them ourselves; if so I would have picked a different bakery.

I ordered a two tiered buttercream cake from BizzyBCakes and was BLOWN AWAY by the reasonable price. I also ordered dozens of cupcakes and tarts and AGAIN was like.... wait what? Shouldn’t it cost more?! :o not only are the prices reasonable but what my sister and I tasted during the cake tasting was heavenly. So moist! I have ordered many cakes from other bakeries and never received such great prices, tasty cake, and wonderful customer service. To add to that I also had to change the date of the baby shower I am hosting from April to May and when I called to ask if that was alright she was SO accommodating. It was a ten second phone call. Quick, easy, guilt free. And this was a change from April to May 5th y’all. Cinco de mayo in Albuquerque..... I’m gonna let that sink in. Lol. I haven’t received my cake, cupcakes, and tarts yet but when I do I will update my post and add some pictures for y’all to see. :D Update 5/31/18 post baby shower: So incredible!!! Everyone LOVED the cake. The cupcakes and tarts disappeared so fast it was ridiculous. Hahaha. Word of advice.... order a lot more tarts than you think you will need because they are so amazing people will just inhale them.

Brittany is very thorough and on top of all her cake orders! She manages herself and her business well, and is organized enough to handle clients texting her on her personal phone. She was very thorough about details and inspirational photos from the beginning, and she was flexible enough to allow me to add changes as time got closer to our wedding. Her newest employee did a great job delivering the cake to our venue and decorating with live flowers that our florist provided. We bought a topper online that she easily incorporated and was willing to change cake colors. Our guests loved the cake and complimented the flavor many times. We enjoyed working with Bizzy B Cakes on a personal and professional level. We look forward to work with them in the future, and we especially look forward to our anniversary cake! Definitely would recommend giving them a shot :)

Very dissatisfied! The cake for 150 people was decorated very sloppily. The cake itself was supposed to be red velvet, but was very crumbly as well as dry and the two layers were different colors of brown. I emailed the owner and received no response. I am all about supporting small business but I cannot not recommend this business.

We ordered a cake for my daughters birthday, not only was it beautiful but it tasted amazing. The staff is so patient and friendly. They make you feel more than welcomed. It not common to walk into a business anymore and get welcomed in such a warm inviting way. The prices are more than affordable. My wife and I have had many different items from Bizzy B. The white mocha cupcake was the best cupcake I have ever eaten. I was blown away. We got some slices of pie today for Pi Day and both the pumpkin and lemon meringue were amazing! Note: My son is on a gluten free diet and they make some great gluten free cupcakes that he raves about. If you haven't tried Bizzy B, you need to check them out!

The cake was really nice that I ordered they forgot to put the boat on the side theme that I wanted. The cake was not soft and did not had a lot of cream inside like I wanted and told the lady at the desk. It was $80 and I expected better cake then that it was for my husband birthday. I won’t order here again I just don’t want to look nice but taste good too.

All my wedding guests were impressed by both the main cake and the various cupcake flavors. I placed my order a few months ago and i was in and out in about 5 minutes, but the short interaction that i had with brittany was wonderful. I asked for gluten free and vegan options for my guests and no one left dissatisfied. I ordered a few different flavors of cupcakes(some vegan and some gluten free) and a naked cake with fruit on top, I left everything else to the baker's choice. The cupcakes and cake were beautiful and delicious! Even my husband, who doesn't like sweets, has been picking at the left over cake in our fridge! Thank you for helping us make our night sweet!

The Buzz Lightyear cake (Orange Creamcicle) was delicious. The 8" cake fed over 20 guests and we had left overs even giving out generous sized pieces. It was 2 year old approved - as my little boy sat down to blow out the candles, I heard him whisper "hi Buzz" to the cake.

My two sons have their birthday a day apart and we wanted to get cupcakes for both of them for school. We have to buy store bought and come to find out there was a child with a peanut and egg allergy. We had found a place to do cupcakes but they called me Wednesday night to tell me they had a priority order and couldn’t make them for me. Last minute frantically looking for vegan cupcakes, Brittany called me back immediately and was able to guarantee my order. When we picked them up Friday they were gorgeous and delicious! We got married on September first and we couldn't have been happier with our experience with Bizzy B Cakes. Let's start with the tasting. She had multiple types of cake for us to try and since she had to reschedule, she didn't charge us the extra fee for the extra flavors we wanted to try. We honestly thought, "these flavors are way to fancy, we can't afford ganache!" Her prices are sooooo reasonable and our cakes were not only delicious, but beautiful. We gave her creative freedom with the design with only minimal instruction and she did a fantastic job! The best part is that with everything else that we had to deal with, we basically met with her once and called her one time right before the wedding. That's it!!! She took care of everything else. The owner is not only a great talent, she is very dependable and a fabulous artist. I would give 6 stars if I could. Thank you for contributing something beautiful and delicious to our wedding!

I arrived at this business 5 minutes before closing time on Wednesday to order a cake needed for my girlfriend's birthday on Friday. Despite the short notice and their enormous work load/busyness, Brittany, the owner, patiently took my order, made suggestions and helped with the design of the cake. Long story short, I arrived at the specified pickup time on Friday and my cake was ready. The excellent quality of the cake was a subject of conversation at our birthday party. I’ve waited a long time to post this review to make sure emotions were not involved. Brittany certainly makes delicious and beautiful cakes, but I would warn to be extremely detailed and insistent when asking for a specific cake design. We had at length conversations about how we wanted our wedding cake decorated, and I even dropped off photos at her shop to further explain what we were looking for. However, when the cake arrived before the reception it simply did not look like what we had ordered. As I said, the cake was delicious and she is very capable, but it just was not the cake we had asked for and it left a small stain on our otherwise perfect wedding day.

First impression, delicious!!! We had the Boston Cream Pie cupcakes that were decadent! The yellow cake was unbelievably moist and the cream was absolutely yummy! We also tried the macaroons that were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy and creamy on the inside! Wonderful quality, well worth every penny!

I ordered a custom cake for a bridal shower and was so disappointed with the decoration. Although it tasted really good, it was decorated so poorly that I hid it from the party until cutting time and cut it immediately so no one would see it. Everyone commented on how yummy it was. So I called and spoke to the owner and she totally made it up to me and gave me a really well done cake for my birthday! And it tasted really good too!! Everyone loved it.

Hands down best cake and Cupcake shop in town! Brittany was super helpful and friendly through the whole process of ordering a cupcake dress and delivering exactly what I asked for. I asked for a strawberry cupcakes and they were actually made with real strawberries which tasted super yummy!!! I ordered a last minute Beautifully Decorated carrot sheet cake and two dozen Food Dye Free Vanilla Butter Cream Cupcakes for a promotion ceremony. Brittany and her bakers was amazing! The cake and cupcakes were fantastic! They understand food allergies and take them seriously but do not sacrifice flavor or beauty! It also didn't come at an extra cost in this case because she uses natural ingredients! Most importantly the kids didn't feel different because they could choose any cupcake and they were so excited!! This is our go to baker!!
