I have always loved their icing from the minute I tried it, but recently was my first experience preordering a cake with the bakery. It came out beautiful!! When ordering, I had requested strawberries on top as well as flowers, but the decorator used their artistic skills to know that strawberries would not have been the right move. The strawberry filling inside was amazing as well. Everyone at the party wanted a piece, and absolutely everyone raved about it.

I had eaten their delicious cakes before but had never been inside the bakery until today. I went to pick up a birthday cake to surprise my husband, and my son was asleep in my arms as I entered. Almost immediately, one of the women working there, Daisy, came over to assist me. She was very patient and kind and helped me find the perfect cake. Seeing that I was trying to juggle the sleeping baby and the cake, she even carried it out to the car for me. I highly recommend this place, not just for the amazing cake, but for the exceptional customer service!

I would give 20 stars is I could! On July 16, 2019 I stopped in to pick up a quick surprise birthday cake for my husband. Quick service and helpful staff as usual. I picked up a 10inch cake and two cheeseburger cupcakes. Upon getting in my vehicle my car wouldn't start. I asked the young ladies if they could hold my items for me as I figure things out in the heat advisory at that. They happily helped. After my best friend picks me up and we go to an auto store we return and obviously struggle as we have no idea what we are doing. The owner eventually realizes we are broke down and offer assistance. We tried jumping the vehicle but that didn't work. The three of us changed the battery. I am forever grateful to him. He was amazing and my savior of the day! I already was a customer but I am forever loyal to this bakery now. Thank you so so SOOO much. Your generosity goes beyond putting love and passion into the cakes you produce.

We have ordered cakes from Sweet Eats for a few years and so as it is now time to order a cake for my daughter's upcoming wedding, of course this was the place we chose. Justin was wonderful in helping us to pick the cake of my daughter's dreams & the tasting was so delicious we could've stayed all day! He was so patient with my daughter as she wasn't quite sure of exactly what she wanted (and with all of us really, as there were 4 of us women tasting). We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and are really looking forward to the finished product in September.

My husband and I got our wedding cake there and it was the hit at the reception!! Our family goes to Sweet Eats for everything it all started with my cousins engagement party cake. They has a strawberry filling cake and it was to die for. Sweet Eats specialty cakes are amazing as well as their little nik naks, chocolate pretzels, rice crispy treats with chocolate. At our wedding my cousin who never eats cake and is not a big fan of any cake tried our cake and he loved it.. He is now a sweet eats fan too. The customer service we received from Justin was awesome my husband and he shared some watch tips because they are both collectors. We love the atmosphere of the family and will forever be fans and supporters. So please dont let one person who didn't plan in advance her daughter's birthday cake make you not support this wonderful family owned operation. I hope everyone takes our recommendation and continue to love the cakes!! Thanks to everyone from Sweet Eats for making our wedding even more amazing!! Love the Livanos Family!!

I’ve lived in Voorhees forever and never once went to Sweet Eats until someone referred me to go there for my daughters birthday in August. Now I’m here again and Justin helped us pick the perfect cake for my moms 60th party and WOW this one turned out beautiful. We hate spending a lot of money on cakes because by the time the party is over we have a whole cake left until we purchased here. Oh my goodness, we will never buy cakes from anywhere else. The flavors are absolutely amazing and everything is super fresh. Thank you Sweet Eats for making us love cake again!!!!!

For the price I paid for a cheesecake I expected quality, what I received was a very nice looking cake that tasted like a ready mix box from the grocery store only worse and it was definitely not fresh. To top it off I was rushed into my order and most of the staff looked miserable. I will never shop here again as ShopRite has better cake, prices, and a much friendlier staff. Sorry Sweet eats but dolled up cream cheese is not a cheesecake.

Today I bought some red velvet cup cakes for Valentine’s Day and a dozen assorted cookies and some chocolate covered pretzels. I also got four chocolate shape lips on a stick, so cute.!! The wait was pretty fast, you had to pick a number. The salespeople are very helpful. I also got my birthday cake here last year, it was fantastic. I will definitely come back. Yummy!!

Anything that I have tried from Sweet Eats has been the best kind of dessert I have ever eaten. That's not an exaggeration. The icing is nice and creamy, not too sweet, but still delicious. The cake itself is always moist, never dry. Delicious all around!!

My family and I have gone to this bakery for years. Unfortunately due to my last visit we will no longer. I special ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday. The cake was filled with her favorite chocolate chip cookie dough. On the top of the cake I asked to have a photo digitally scanned of her favorite video game character. With the quote “heroes never die” that’s the character’s signature line. The cake itself was $50+ but from past experience I knew the bakery was worth it and it was my daughter’s birthday. Speed ahead to dinner. We had a big dinner with family and friends at the Cheesecake Factory. After our meal the server brought out the cake and my daughter’s eyes blew up. She was so excited! That is until we cut in the cake. On the first piece we pulled 3 strands of hair out with it. All of this mind you was being video taped. Mortified and disgusted we didn’t eat that cake. My daughter’s heart was broken. I emailed the bakery and called them first thing the next day. The manger Justin was very apologetic and offered my money back. In a detailed email I thanked him and also asked for a replacement cake. His response no problem and if I went with a smaller cake he would add a additional 20$. Well that sounds good but that is not what happened. The cake we received looked like it came out of the display. No writing on it or anything. Side note on the main cake my daughter noted they spelled heroes wrong. He gave me 20$ and the small cake and that was it. My daughter was with me so I did not want to cause a scene so I emailed him immediately. This was not the terms we agreed on hence our conversation. I was supposed to receive a full refund not half then handed a baby cake in replacement. That doesn’t add up. He didn’t respond till 24hrs later basically saying he can give me 5 more dollars but that was it. Once again not what we agreed. I don’t care that the small cake is 23$ I want what was promised. Horrible customer service and a hairy cake!

Absolutely the best I’ve ever had in my life!!!! My favorite is their mini white chocolate chocolate chip Bombe’. Ugh just thinking about them I wanna go buy them lol. It figures tomorrow is Monday and they are closed ughhhhhhh. Looks like I’ll be going Tuesday morning then. Oh and this bakery is a drive for me I live in Collingswood NJ and we’ve got 2 great bakeries here but Sweet Eats is best ever. Honestly go here you will never be disappointed!!!

The cake always tasted great but as they got busier, I noticed the customer service part hasn't been as good. Almost like they gave up cuz they know people will eat the cake anyway. The options to customize have been very very limited which is sad. The attitude has been pretty much to "you get what we give you"

First the place is SPOTLESS. When I was there, I was looking for something for a Super Bowl party. One of the staff, showed me Super Bowl cake. I love it and got it. I've been there before and liked it. Everyone there are POLITE AND GREAT. Today 7/11/17 I was there for something to eat. When I asked one of the girls she showed me cookies chocolate chip. They without the GREATEST EVER. Give them a try I'm sure you'll like them.

Apparently a woman chose this bakery to supply her baby shower cake and when she lost the baby her sister, who planned the shower, called them to let them know what had happened. She asked if they had started the cake yet, and they said no. She asked if they could get their $150 deposit back due to the circumstances and the fact that they hadn't even started yet. They told her no. Mind you, this cake was in the upwards of $500. That they hadn't even started. She asked again, same answer. After a mildly heated exchange, they told her sister "It's our policy. Bottom line." To where her sister said, "I'm sorry, I guess I should've asked my first and only niece to die sooner for YOUR policy." MORAL OF THE STORY....Sweet Eats had an opportunity to do something good. Maybe give back some of the money, not all. Maybe say, "since you've given us money, with no cake, can we provide some cookies or pastries to the family for visitors or if they have services?" Many other sympathetic, heartfelt options to someone that just lost their first born. They chose not to do so. So, of course, this doesn't sit well with me. And I'm pretty sure, all of you that know me, know that this other family has a lot more tact and class than me.

I went in recently on the day before Mother's Day to get a cake. I ended up getting a lemon filled round cake and was a little worried about how the filling would be. I was hoping it would not be too much lemon and that it wasn't like pie filling. It was not! It was just the right amount of lemon flavoring without it being too overpowering as can commonly happen. I will definitely be returning to try other varieties!

I didn't have a bad experience with Sweet Eats Bakery...but my sister kind of did with our nephew birthday cake...she had to asked them to add more details to it...because it was plain and needed more decorations... smh...anyways my main reason I'm commented...because of the grieving family...shame on Sweet Eats Bakery for not showing some compassion and for not refunding the money to the family that lost their baby...I can not understand why some companies/businesses treat their customers like trash...we as customers make the companies/businesses grow...Sweet Eats Bakery should apologize to the family and refund the money...I know by doing this can't stop the family's grief...but it's a nice thing to do...and it's showing the family sympathy...get it together Sweet Eats Bakery!!!

I am disturbed by the reviews I am seeing about the management in regards to their customer service. Specifically in regards to the woman who lost a child and lost all the money paid to this bakery . Perhaps the bakery can be a little more sympathetic to these situations. I wanted to come in and order a cake for my sons 1st birthday but will not be doing so here. Best by far! Doug made my wedding cake 18 years ago and decorated it with the florist with fresh roses! It was made for over 300 people ,with 9 different fillings and whipped cream icing! Needless to say not 1 piece left but he top for our first anniversary!! If I could give Sweet Eats 10 stars I would!! Thank you for making my wedding day that much more memorable!! Very very very poor customer service. They do not care about their customers at all. I would never spend a dime of my money there again. Over the 8yrs years I was ordering from them there was always an issue. They wouldn't let me order certain size cakes over the phone even though I was over 30 minutes away from their location. It seems like they always made me jump through hoops to order a cake. I really loved their cakes so I put up with it. Finally, I was having my gender reveal cake made there and spoke to the owner doug several times about it and making arrangements for scheduling it so it all worked out. We ironed out the cost and everything else. I wasn't able to do a "specialty" cake in marlton so my husband had to drop the envelope off and pick up the cake in voorhees which was completely out of his way but we liked the cakes so he did it anyway. My husband dropped off our sealed envelope and I had written everything on the outside just to remind them of what I wanted. Doug confirmed with him the pricing that day- I was getting the smallest cake and I just wanted my babys color inside. Doug made it seem like it was this huge hassle and that there was no way they could get it done in the two days (even though I had already talked with him about it) An hour or more after he dropped the envelope I get a phone call that they can't make the cake in the smallest size because they can't make that small amount of icing for the inside. Seemed like a bogus excuse and I asked to speak to Doug. He confirmed they can't make that small amount and they would have to throw it out the extra so I need to go a size up. The new cake would cost me an additional $15. It wasn't the money it was the fact that we had already talked about it a few times and that never came up in conversation. You would assume the owner would know what the heck is going on at his shop. Anyway we picked up the cake and the next day I wrote them a letter expressing my disgust. Never heard back. I followed up with another letter and received no response on that one either. They lost a very good customer. It has been almost 3 years and many many cakes later and I would still never go back. I'm about to order a cake from Randolphs for my mom's birthday and it just reminded me about how much I dislike sweet eats.

4 out of the 5 times i've been in here I was greeted by the same girl, Millie a sweet young girl. She has always been prompt, efficient and very friendly and super sweet to my kids (the playset is a HUGE HELP.) I went in recently and my girl wasnt there, I was greeted by an older woman who felt I was a waste of her time. I was very close to just leaving and not completing the order. The cakes are always delicious, you definitely pay for what you're getting. I know after 20 years in customer service treating someone like they're bothering you is not a good way to keep business. I get you're busy, but you'e busy bc I'm in here with others just like me. Side note, banana foster is life!

The worst place I ever been. They are really rude, I order a birthday cake , he didn't try helping with ideas at all, and was in a hurry to take the order, and of course the money. The cake was completely different from what I wanted, and order. I say didn't want white at all, and they put more white than anything. The color wasn't what I want, and the decoration was terrible, ugly. I pay way to much for a cake that I didn't like at all. I told them that I didn't like it. And they didn't do or say anything, they ignore me completely. They don't care about the costumers. They just want the money, they didn't even apologize. Really bad experience. It was my first time in there and definitely my last too.

My wife and I were in Sweet Eats Last weekend for our parent’s anniversary cake. Even with my very particular wife, Justin and the sweet eats team wowed my 150 guests and most of important my parents. After all the money we put into the party (decorations, venue, food, flowers) our parents said that their favorite thing was the cake. If I could give one star, I would. They really need to take a look at their employees. I called to try and order a cake for my daughter's first birthday - but was told a plain white frosted cake with no decoration is "too fancy" for them to do in less than two weeks notice. The guy that answered barely even let me attempt to describe what I was looking for before cutting me off and telling me he "knew what I was thinking about" and said it's too fancy to be done. Did not let me even finish what I was trying to say - apparently he can just read my mind? I literally just wanted a cake with no decoration and frosted in white... I was pretty shocked considering Shop Rite or Acme (lower level bakeries or at least I thought until today) only need 24hr notice (which I was giving much more than 24hr notice, But he didn't even let me get that out) for the exact same thing. So disappointed in this bakery for sure - we have been getting cakes from here since I was 12, I definitely won't even be attempting to order from here again and I would not recommend this place to anyone like I used to. Between the dismissive tone and the fact that they can't do a simple cake with white frosting and zero decoration done in less than 2 weeks is insane. I was planning to order two more cakes in November for my son and my mom's birthdays but I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere now.

I gave this bakery another chance after not being happy with my last purchase. This time, I paid $57 for a cake, that unfortunately did not come out even close to what I wanted. I don't have time to go in person to order the cake, but to ensure my order is correct, I feel like I have to, if I even order from there again. From the message to the colors, I'm embarrassed to take this cake to the party tomorrow and am considering trying to order from a different bakery. If you're going to order from this place, I definitely recommend going in person to order so you can make sure it's correct. It's a shame, because the flavors are amazing.

I would rather send my money through a paper shredder than to give it to this scam artist. The most shameful thing I’ve read in a long time.

I recently bought a chocolate cake with white chocolate cream & chocolate chip filling and buttercream icing for my parents' birthday. It was to die for! The cake was moist and the Bavarian filling and butter cream icing were delicious, and not over-the-top sweet. I've had a cake from Sweet Eats a few years ago but forgot just how delicious their cakes are, until now. This will be my family's new go to bakery for birthday cakes. The few slices that were left were devoured later that night and the next day. I received messages from all the family who indulged saying how delicious the cake was. I also bought banana split & sweet potato cupcakes which were good. We are excited to try their different cake filling flavors and combinations. I will be back for my own birthday cake next month. Like they say, life is short, eat the cake!! Just make sure it's a good cake and worth the calories, and their cakes are! Try this bakery, you won't be disappointed.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE HERE!! Tried to order a cake for my husband bday today! I knew it couldn't be personalized but they usually have cakes in the case to buy! I told her I wanted to call ahead and give her my credit card number for them to hold a cake for me. Instead of doing the sale or explaining anything to me, she got an attitude said we didn't do it and there would probably be none left since I wanted to pick up closer to closing time. As a general manager of hotels, and restaurants I suggest training for your employees. We went with a different bakery because of it, and I who used to be a regular customer will not be coming again- Especially after reading about the baby shower incident! Horrible

My wife and I went in last weekend to test a few items for our wedding cake. Well, needless to say we decided right then and there to get it from Sweet Eats. We've had their pastries many times before but this was different. Our wedding day is going to be a huge day for us and they completely understood that. They went over a ton of designs and allowed us to take all of the time that we needed even though there was a serious amount of people in the bakery. The service was A+ and the different icings and fillings were ridiculously good. Overall I just really appreciated how serious they took us as a new couple and showed a complete understanding of our needs. A+ service, A+ staff, A+ pastries!!!

Their cakes are excellent; however, their hours are terrible. Don't even think about asking for a custom cake, such as a gender reveal cake, unless you're ready to order more cake then you care to eat.

It was the best experience... they were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and most importantly reasonably priced! We shopped around to many different bakeries in South Jersey, and were pleasantly surprised that Sweet Eats was a FRACTION of the price! We ordered our multiple cakes with Justin and he made the whole process very simple. It is a family oriented business, which we found very welcoming. And anyone that has ever had their baked goods would tell you that they are the BEST around...I'm a huge fan (if you couldn't tell)! Went to get a quote on a 12" birthday cake and was quickly rushed to place an order. I needed something for a 8 year old child and they were not friendly and did not try to help me sort through the options. They just shoved the menu in my face and said call to place an order. This sucks because whenever I got cake from Sweet Eats through someone else its really delicious but the customer service is bad.

I would give them a zero if I could. I ordered the cake at 9:45am to be picked up the next day at 1pm. 1pm that same day I found out that a birthday cake was already bought. So I called to see if I could cancel the order. They told me that the cake was already baked and decorated so cancelling was not possible. I was not upset, the cake was already done. So I asked if I could pick up the cake early to save time the next day. After putting me on hold for 10 min they told me that I wasn't able to pick it up because the cake wasn't actually ready. They lied to me. They did not want to return the $40 I paid for the cake. That is completely unacceptable. They are dishonest and unaccommidating. They are clearly more concerned about profit than customer service. I would of accepted the answer "all sales are final", instead of a lie they got caught in. They lost a potential life long customer over $40.

Ordered a cake for my mother in-law's 90th birthday. She likes light flavors and colors. I was very specific with the order - small light colored flowers and not a lot of icing. Well, the staff really pulled through. She absolutely loved the cake! Afterwards she pulled me aside, and said she has never eaten a full slice of cake before in her life. Yet ate every single bite of her 90th birthday cake. It was beautiful, had a lovely light flavor (yellow cake with lemon filling), and not too sweet icing. Thank you, Sweet Eats! You made the day!

These people are just WRONG. I have ordered cakes from them for years. I call in to ask to change the theme of a cake for my sons cake and call with 24 hours notice. The first thing I ask is if the cake has been started. They tell me no, so I assume they can make a change to the theme because the cake hasn't been started. I get transferred four times and finally a man gets on the phone and tells me verbatim 'we can not make a change to your order because I don't have time to send someone back to find your slip because then I have to pull someone off the sales floor to look for your slip'. Then he tells me the policy is no changes to cake orders, I told him I understood the policy but don't understand why it is an issue since the cake wasn't started. I buy cakes twice a month from this place for different functions but I'm taking my business elsewhere because clearly it's too much for them to have someone get my slip and make a change. Again I want to repeat my cake was not started by this point.
