However, their amazing job to make the perfect B-day cake for our daughter every year since the day she was born is well worth the one annoying employee.

Jacques is amazing! During our cake tasting, the girl who worked with us was very helpful and knowledgeable. She had great suggestions. We settled on four types of cupcakes, plus a small cake for cutting. We ended up making some last minute changes that they accommodated really well. The cake and cupcakes were the best I've ever had. They were beautiful of course, but the flavor and texture was phenomenal!

The team at Jacques Pastries did an amazing job for our wedding! At the tasting we were given so many options to choose from and nothing was off limits. We ended up choosing cupcakes for the wedding that were delicious and a big hit! We chose vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter and oreo fillings and usually there are a lot of desserts left over at a wedding but not at ours! They also designed a cake topper for us that was perfect! We asked for a winter themed cake with birch wood, pinecones and berries and it came out better than we imagined. We cannot thank the team at Jacques pastries enough and definitely recommend them for anyone looking for something simple to something custom on a cake or cupcakes.

I ordered my wedding cake and mini tarts from Jacques back in September 2012. My cake was absolutely delicious, moist and full of flavor. The tarts were the perfect size and I was told they were great as well (I did not get a chance to have one, but the guests loved them). They delivery my cake and tarts on time and I was worry free. Everyone at Jacques was nice and a pleasure to work with. They are extremely creative and offer a wide variety of flavors. I would highly recommend they to anyone, for any kind of event. My cake was beautiful and I could not have asked for anything more!

Just had Jacques do the cake for our wedding yesterday and the cake was AMAZING, we did the "Wedding Cake" in an amazing spin on Tiramisu, and a second sheet cake in an apple caramel spice cake, both of which were great. The tasting several months ago was handled well and they were able to talk about many flavor options to get us set up. The design we got for the cake was also done BEAUTIFULLY. Thank you Jacques!!!

We recently ordered a 3-tier wedding cake from Jacques for our wedding in York, Maine. Everyone in the bakery is very professional and very easy to work with, plus they make sure that you get to have the cake of your dreams at a price you can afford. It was delivered to the location on time and it looked stunning. Besides looks, the taste was amazing - our tiers each had different flavors so it was a surprise for our guests. Everyone kept talking about how delicious the cake was! Definitely worth every penny!

It goes without saying based on their reputation, but Jacques made a beautiful and tasty cake for our wedding. Of every wedding appointment we had, this was the easiest. We sat down, knew the design we had in mind and they assured it was not a problem. They even coordinated with our florist matching real flowers to our cake as we did not want a cake topper. We went with a different flavor for each layer with different fillings and frosting. The cake tasting was a blast, the woman we worked with was so polite and kind to my husband and mother, giving us her undevided attention on a busy Saturday morning. thanks for an awesome appointment and a gorgeous cake on such a momentous occasion.

Helped me last minute with a graduation cake order! AND BOY DID THEY DELIVER! Unlike any frosting I've ever had! Delicious beyond words! So silky, not too sweet, smooth, creamy and very light. The cake was moist and very soft. Always a wonderful experience dealing with everyone there! Very clean and beautiful inside. The other deserts are so amazing. My favorite to date is the raspberry coconut cake bar with the macaroon topping.

Jacques is fantastic! My husband and I got married in October and they made us a BEAUTIFUL three tier cake that looked like birchwood with autumn leaves growing on vines all over it. Not only was the cake delicious, we got numerous compliments on how gorgeous and realisitc it was. The photographers said it was the coolest cake they'd seen out of all the weddings they've done. When we first went to Jacques we had forgotten to make an appointment, we showed up and found out they had a full schedule but they were so helpful, they were able to squeeze us in and design the wedding cake of our dreams! Nothing but good things to say about these guys! Highly recommend!

Jacques Pastries created the most beautiful cake for us. The cake tasting was amazing - we never knew buttercream could taste so good or have so many flavors! They recreated a photo of a cake for us and did it perfectly. I didn't want to cut into that gorgeous cake! They coordinated perfectly with our florist to get the matching flowers on it as well. Last minute we had to remove a layer of cake due to numbers, and the staff from Jacques was so apologetic and accommodating. Their customer service is impeccable. All our guests raved about how yummy the 3 different layers of cake were.

I got my wedding cake from Jacques - half red velvet/cream cheese frosting, half almond cake with raspberry and cream cheese frosting. I got a lot of compliments on the taste and the frosting. The outside wasn't as detailed/pretty as I had hoped for, but it was still a nice birch cake with fall leaves. These guys were very easy to work with and they tried to find ways to save us money rather than hitting us with a $150+ delivery fee like their competitor down the street wanted to do! I'd say go with them, but be specific as possible in what you want! It's clear they can make some amazing-looking cakes with what they have on display in their shop.

What’s not to love about pastries and cakes? Jacques did an amazing job both in flavor and in design. We had requested that they carve into the fondant so that the cake looked like a tree stump, then requested they decorate the layers with twigs and flowers. The whole tasting process was lovely! We were impressed from the second we walked in, and continue to be impressed as we move forward! We hardly waited for any time before we were seen. The shop looked very neat and clean. The staff was all friendly and we loved that their outfits were all clean and branded, it gave the overall feel a very professional one. The tasting options were great! We LOVED the little containers for each filling and that our host kept asking if there was anything else we wanted to try. We also really appreciated that our host gave us the tasting options, explained them all, and then gave us the privacy to sit and try them on our own before she came back to check on us. We greatly appreciated that privacy!! Each time I popped by the location to drop things off, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. On our big day, the cake looked so lovely! They absolutely nailed our overall vision! They were also so willing to add in the book page flowers that a friend made for us. The only bummer was that we had requested to have a little Deadpool peeking out from under the cake, and that bit was forgotten.
