My wedding was yesterday. I loved this cake. I only got to try one of the two flavors we ordered. They did a wonderful job and we're very accommodating with gluten free.

Let me start with, I don't like chocolate cake.. I'll do hot chocolate or chocolate frosting but not regular chocolate anything. I tried a piece of Frederick's GLUTEN FREE (I know, eww, gluten free) chocolate cake with chocolate fudge layers and white butter cream frosting on the outside.. It was the best cake I've ever had in my life! So moist and delicious! Omg, I want more.. Now! I had TWO pieces that day (wish I could have had more!) and I will be getting that cake for my birthday lol! Anyway, nothing bad to say, literally the best cake I've ever had in my life. And it was gluten free chocolate. Get some!

Dry, tasteless gold cupcakes. I eat cake once a year on my birthday and instructed my husband to go there as I have had good cake in the past. Not sure how long the cupcakes were in the case for sale but wow they were dry. I won’t go back.

Warning for all at holidays. Dont waste time ordering and paying ahead of time. We did so and have been waiting for an hour just to pick up what we ordered a week ago and prepaid. Owner and management owe a serious apology to all customers and should refocus on something other than the almighty buck. Maybe all the lost customers will make them pay attention, if not too late

In the past two years I have ordered 5 cakes from Frederick's and not one time was I disappointed. Their cakes are always fresh and moist and decorated just as I want them. Always a guest pleaser for sure!

Have no idea how they are only 3.8 stars...this place is GREAT....a bit expensive, but yummy so we are ok with it. We use them for all of our cakes. Always willing to do whatever odd cake we ask for and they come our adorable every time. We have tried other places and no one comes close.

Very tasty desserts! Cheesecakes and cupcakes are my favorites. I also ordered a custom cake (marble cake with peanut butter frosting) and it was wonderful. Guests loved the cake and asked for seconds; it was that good.

I was in the shop on November 14th around 6pm. I saw vanilla cupcakes with white swirl frosting but they all had sprinkles. I dislike sprinkles. I asked for one without. She pulled out cupcake tray and one with a colored frosting flower had no sprinkles. She said that was all they had. Every other cupcake place I have ever been always scrapes off top and puts new frosting. They wouldn't. I got it anyway. Brought it home.. very dry and disappointing. Honestly, Hostess cupcakes would have been a better choice and significantly less than $5.00. I will not return.

Ordered a simple wedding cake last minute. Owner and staff went above and beyond! Cake was elegant, lovely, and well priced. Everyone loved the taste as well. We will return for any future celebration needs.

I ordered 3 cakes 7 days before for a BIG party ,they CANCELED on me 3 days before the event.They ruined my whole event.And would never feel safe ordering there again. And on top of that they are too EXPENSIVE But we found Misheles pastry in Manchester,NH. Fredericks pastry def a Big NO.

So. Today is my 1 year anniversary and we had gotten our wedding cake from Frederick's. It has been in out freezer FOR A YEAR AND I FORGOT TO WRAP IT PROPERLY. We just finished the traditional eating wedding cake on our 1 year AND THE CAKE STILL TASTES GREAT! Yes there was some inevitable freezer burn on parts that were exposed,BUT the inside of the cake was still fresh and tasted amazing. Ladies and gents, if you get married and need a cake that tastes amazing the day of your wedding, and A YEAR LATER, I highly recommend their almond pound. The cake was everything we could have asked for and more.

This is an amazing bakery. I’ve been a customer here for many years and have never been disappointed. Almost all of my special occasion cakes come from Frederick’s, and they are always delicious and beautiful. Try the almond pound cake with raspberry filling and butter cream frosting. You will not go anywhere else after tasting it.

Got a birthday cake small and over priced don't know what big deal is about Fredricks. 2nd time picked up a birthday cake terrible service and dry cake wont go back . Don't see what the big deal of Fredericks

Ordered and picked up an Italian rum cake for Easter and I can say that was the worst Italian rum cake I ever had..very disappointed ...for 36.99 was not worth it...was just like a reg cake with few layers with pudding in between which didn't even taste good ..i will never return to fredericks
