The lady I spoke with on the phone didnt know what cannolis were when I called, said she had them I go in ask to make sure they were vanilla and they were not even close, they had a flat almost sour taste with an overwhelming orange flavor. I was not notified of the citrus which thank God I realized before getting home due to allergies and when I called back to let them know id be returning them the man acted like I was lying about being mislead about the cannolis. I'll never go there again, and if you are thinking of buying cannolis there I highly recommend you do not. And they also add on some meal tax to all orders so heads up on prices it will cost you more at the register.

I really wanted to like these cupcakes. They are really beautiful. However, the cupcake was 90% frosting and 10% cake. The frosting was wayyyyy too sweet, tastes like the stuff you get out of the cans at the grocery store.

They have great pastries. Gluten free desserts can be found and the GF rum cake is pretty good. The iced coffee is self serve so it's always right. There is a little spot to sit down as well. I had the carrot cake cupcake and it was perfect.

We got our son’s 6th birthday cake from Blackberry Bakery. I told them he wanted a Darth Vader cake and just let them use their creative judgment on how to decorate it. Not only did it look awesome, it tasted amazing! We had so many compliments on how good the cake was. We’ll definitely use Blackberry Bakery again!

The Baileys cake is the best cake I have ever had. Melt in your mouth delicious. And the Strawberry Shortcake is a very close second.

My daughter bought me an Italian rum cake and I have been getting them every year at the North End in Boston. I have to say that this was the best that I have ever had. It was with whip cream instead of frosting. I went there yesterday to get a whip cream cake but they only had chocolate mousse whip cream cake. I thought I was going to be disappointed but it was moist and not too rich. I absolutely loved it. The chocolate covered strawberries on the top of the cake just put this cake over the top. There cakes are fresh and delicious. And there prices to me are very reasonable. Thank you blackberries !!!!!!!!!

Stopped by after a late lunch as we were in the same plaza, but wished I had checked here first; the other reviews are fairly accurate. Everything tasted days old, musty, soggy, not good. Felt like we were inconveniencing them as we chose several different pastries. Won't return.

The pastries and cakes are good. The variety is nothing extravagant or out of the ordinary; if you're looking for a culinary adventure this may not be the place, but if you are looking for a nice Birthday cake or a coffee pastry, itwill be a success. Cupcakes are very good, specially the Baileys ones. Custumer service is a bit rough around the edges, but if you have a good sense of humor the experience may lend itself for a fun story. My experience reminded me of: "No soup for you!" I still giggle...

Eclair was stale with completely flavorless custard, wasn't even worth finishing. Tiramisu was okay, had a really bland cake in place of ladyfingers and wasn't soaked with coffee. The masrcapone layer had a coffee flavor and wasn't bad.

Ordered a birthday cake here, and the name was misspelled. They corrected it, but seemed put out by it. Came back a few months later, as we were in the area and wanted something sweet. The Italian wedding cookies with nuts tasted a little flat. However, the raspberry popover was perfectly cooked, the cupcakes are amazing...dense, and filled with the buttercream they are frosted with...lots of flavors to choose from. We also had a peanut butter chocolate cake mini log. Moist and rich. They have a variety of baked goods, but the consistency is off...some are great, some are not as tasty. Service was not the friendliest both times I've been here. Prices are really not bad for the value.

Walking in the aroma of fresh baked triple berry yogurt muffins was enough to warm my spirit. That was followed by a hot cup of fresh brewed A&E Roastery Coffee, YUM! Fantastic customer service confirmed that this is my favorite bakery in the area!
